How is that implemented in R?

Someone did that a while ago - mapping the IP addresses and had a Google earth file available. Search the forums.
It was mapping nodes only with no data on hashing power.

It can be done by using the IP address and mining the data on payouts

When will you be paying all outstanding balances? or was that compromised also?

I regret to inform everyone there was a likely breach at simplecoin.us.

What is known so far:
The main pool server home directory was wiped clean, including wallet backups. The pool username also had the password changed.
The live pool wallets were thankfully not in the home directory and were recovered.

What has been done:
The balances of the wallets are being transferred. There are no apparent losses so far.
The servers have been physically shut down to prevent any other data loss.

What is your specific time frame for completion of this task, since "There are no apparent losses so far."

@The--Captain,

I modified the /etc/init.d/networking file as described in your post--thanks for that info. However, while the wired network still works, if I try to go wireless BAMT still does not see the wireless adapter :-/

I must move my two rigs out of the guest bedroom for company starting tomorrow, so I guess I'll have to change over to Linuxcoin, which thankfully does see the wireless adapter.

Just setup a cheap wireless bridge that can handle dd-wrt - instructions are on their site or search via google

I use BAMT on headless rigs,
1.Download .img file
2.Burn to usb
3.Plug in usb key
4.Boot
5.Apply fixes
6.configure 2 files
.. done. No Hard disk needed.
All remotely controlled/monitored via ssh

all on a 4gb usb key https://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=28967.0

A proper pools file example in the wiki for multiple mining rigs would also be helpful. I currently have a separate poolsX file for every GPU. This works but there must be a simpler method.

One simpler method is to just have one pools file and use it for all your GPUs.  You only need separate files if you actually want each GPU going to a different pool.

@lodcrappo
Feeling rather dense tonight. So if I create one pool file for 9 miners on Deepbit the three separate machines hosting the 9 GPUs will read the file (on each machine, haven't done a single config file yet) and they will all 9 find a miner account on Deepbit? I must be missing something.

you need one pools file per machine, though the managed config option can help you get a single central file onto all the machines.  for instance I have one pools file running 12 machines with total of 30 GPUs.  it is stored on a server, and all the rigs pull the file using rsync.  this is through the managed_config_command in bamt.conf.

a simpler compromise would be to just copy the same pools file onto all your machines, if you don't change pools a lot that will work fine.

Some pools have separate worker sub accounts, I keep a directory on my workstation with one pool file for each gpu and then run scp manually(in a .sh with one scp entry per rig) to update all the rigs.

I am having a problem in getting flexible mining proxy to work with my host.

It appears the problems are arising becuase php is run as cgi and not as an apache module. Can any1 confirm that this is the problem and if so how can I sort it out?

first I had problems logging into the admin page and when entering details it just pops up with the login box, I sorted out the problem by following the instructions on this page http://www.besthostratings.com/articles/http-auth-php-cgi.html

Hi,
May I ask what files you edited & where, I'm new to apache/php, and where are the files placed. I'm using the default Apache2/Mysql/Php5 Setups and directories. I can reach the server from the other computers on the internal network.

Thank you.

Hello.

POCLBM crashes almost instantly on my setup (2x5970+ 1x5850 + W7 x64)

if i remove the 5850 everything works fine

ideas?
Is your power supply big enough

5970=300watts *2 + 5870=200watts *1 +175watts overhead (Board, Fans, Processors, Disk Drives) =975watts @ 85%eff = 1150watt supply

3 devices... both the 2 gpu and the cpu

ps: its ubuntu 11...

Do you have the crossfire cable installed, I keep each of my cards at frames=10, 3 cards on one rig, I try to keep the total of all the frames= to add up to 30.

If you do any other frames= combo do you see that much impact?

they are not crossfired...

GPU1 (device1) is with frames 1, and GPU0 with 10... if I lower the frame on the GPU0, GPU1 is affected.. I guess even with 10 GPU1 is affected considering frame 30 normal

What size PSU do you have?

I have a doubt.

I have one rig with 2 5850...

When I set the GPU1 (device 1) with frames=1, I get about 348/349 mhash constantly...
so when I turn on the GPU0, no matter with frames, I get lower mhash and the GPU1 drops its mhash...

is that normal?

both cards have the exactly same configuration and they are the same model...
in my mind I though I could set both cards with frames=1 and get the 348/349 mhash individually.. besides the desktop lag

when you run ./poclbm.py by itself in the /poclbm directory, what devices is it showing?
