Good game from the north London derby as Arsenal pushed Tottenham for a win but fell off short. Also, i think the title this season belongs to Manchester city no team can catch them. Arsenal injuries mean they will struggle this season as seen inn the game today against Spurs.
It was a good match, i did enjoy myself.
Although the odds shown before the game to be in favour of Arsenal but Spurs were able to get the draw. This result was after all acceptable and expectable. The other sad result was for Chelsea since they couldn't win even vs Aston Villa and Sheffield United total failure with 8 goals vs Newcastle! They couldn't score even a goal! |

Most of the big teams can do what Barcelona did in the last 10 minutes, maybe, maybe not. For that, you need both luck on your side and you need to keep attacking until the last minute.Barcelona could have lost points from this match, but they chose to fight until the end.
Barcelona did what they used to do in the past and what Real Madrid are known for, remontada! Coming from 2 goals deficit then score 3 goals in like 10 last minutes of the game is something that requires a lot of concentration and skills. Lewandowski did a good job scoring two goals and letting his team finish a third goal and win. Barcelona should be proud of themselves and they should learn from what happened. In the other matches, Valencia missed 2 points and Real Sociedad were able to get the draw after being 1 - 2 in the first half. |

I was surprised by Lyon's condition this season. Is it true that they are now in 17th place in the Ligue 1 standings? That's what came to my mind when I opened the ligue1 website. They have never tasted even a win in 6 matches this season.
Even though the squad they have is not that bad because a number of famous names are written on their squad list.
Yesterday they also suffered a defeat against Brest with a narrow score of 1-0.
It's a very different situation.
This season is one of the worst for Lyon from a long time at a point their supporters were very angry and unsatisfied with their team performance. They are in the relegation zone, they didn't won any game this season, they lost 4 and got a draw in two other matches, they just scored 3 goals and received 11. These stats are for a random team not a team with the weight and history of Lyon! Same goes for Lens, Lorient and Montpellier, they could do way better than this. Kane is a very good finisher and one of the best in the world currently so I believe he'll finish the league with a good number of goals he's already got about 7 and had his first hat-trick but I believe it won't take long before he passes Sehrou Guirassy, theirs a very big possibility that Kane would win the golden boot at Bayern this season.
A good start with a nice hattrick even if it is vs a weak team like Bochum and including a goal from penalty. Kane still has a lot to do to achieve something in his career that failed to do so in Tottenham Hotspur. In the next round, Bayern Munich will face Leipzig in an away game. Leipzig being a hard team this season and they already picked DFL-SuperCup from Bayern Munich, so it is revenge time and we will see if Kane could show himself in this match! |

Lazio season is going from bad to worst lately as they barely made a draw with Monza and I can't see good things happening to Lazio for the rest of the season. Sure , they are present in UCL groups and made a very lucky draw in the last minute of the game but besides that , they've played almost nothing. They didn't invest a lot in transfers ,they have the same old players for a lot of seasons already and some of them lost their touch or the hunger for performance and trophies.
Lazio tried to maintain its spot in Serie A without making interesting investment and ended up being in the 15th place. They are just behind Roma which still didn't play its game vs Torino today. Lazio should wake up if they want to compete in an European league next season.. Meanwhile , Inter is going like a clock in Serie A with only victories on the line and they are about to add another one against Empoli as they lead 1-0 with 10 minutes until end of game.  Inter won 1 - 0 vs Empoli. Well they got 3 points but they could score more in Empoli which lost its 5th game in a row with 13 goals received and 0 goal scored after 5 rounds! Inter started getting some distance from Milan and Juve which lost badly by 4 goals to 2 vs Sassuolo. |

I wonder how the derby between Arsenal and Spurs will go today... After Arsenal beat PSV in the last game, it seems to me that they will have a huge motivation... Arsenal and Spurs have the same points in the standings... I don't know who can win, but I think both teams will score...
Spurs also are having a great run in PL so Arsenal shouldn't undermine Spurs right now. They have been brilliant in all the games so far. It's a huge fixture for both the team and whoever defeats the other one is gonna go ahead while the other one will drop back a bit on the table. I am really hoping for Arsenal to win here as it's a North London derby and we really shouldn't be losing this at Emirates ...never...🔴 Arsenal have better odds than Tottenham Hotspur in this London derby. The match will start soon in Emirates stadium. In the last season, gunners won both games since they are way better. This season both teams are quite equal so far so the result might be different depending from their readiness and performance. Sevilla might also struggle to get anything from this match because they are going to be playing in away conditions. But still, it is going to be anyone's game.
Sevilla is an incredible and unpredictable team, you never understand how they will perform and whether will play seriously and win or not.. The match vs Osasuna was quite comparable for both teams so a draw seemed logic.
The funny part of La Liga is when you see Girona sitting (temporarily) in the first place after winning 5 - 3 vs Mallorca. Barcelona might pick that place if they win vs Celta Vigo which is likely to occur. |

Nantes game history this season is quite strange. They lost the first 2 matches vs Toulouse and Lille. The defeat against Toulouse wasn't necessary.. Next they got a draw vs Monaco and Marseille which was pretty good. Next they defeated Clermont Foot and now they are leading vs Lorient with 3 goals to 2 in after 80 minutes of the game. Lorient players are trying to not lose points against Nantes but the game is quite difficult for them.

Mourinho is a great and famous coach and he is the coach to win the Champions League with Porto while they didn't have many famous and superstar players in their team.
That's why it's normal for people to expect much more from this coach, I was thinking Roma could get a much better place on the table in the last season.

come on guys it is a young league, can we be nicer to them? ok you are right maybe they spent the money badly, but they were in a hurry to get it off the ground, for them it is not an expense but an investment, I don?t see it as such a wrong thing thanks to this expense people have started to take an interest in the championship, I?d say they?ve hit the point  MLS wouldn't be known around the world if Beckham and other players that played in European leagues didn't move there. MLS kept a medium level at the opposite of Chinese league which faded fast. Same goes for Gulf region, they have foreign players and coaches from long time but things got interesting suddenly with Cristiano Ronaldo moving there, followed by a lot of stars this season. This made media and people getting interested.
Al-Nassr 4 - 3 Al-Ahli. Both teams won 5 matches and lost twice. Cristiano Ronaldo and Talisca scored 2 goals each for Al-Nassr while Mahrez scored a penalty and two of his teammates scored a goal each. So far the points difference are just 3 points between Al-Ittihad in the first place and Al-Ahli in the sixth place so with every round the ranking might change. |

First goal for Foden from Walker cut back was a really good team worked goal. There will be more players in Manchester City that will score in the second half. Doku, Alvarez are yet to score, and if they are not replaced in the second half they will score or create another chance for goal. If Nottingham forest manages to score one, maybe they will be able to score another to draw this game. It is very far from happening, but it can happen now especially with Rodri now sent off from the game with a red card due to violent conduct.
Manchester City 2 - 0 Nottingham Forest. Not bad since Manchester City was able to maintain the two goals advantage although playing a whole half with only 10 players. Both Foden and Haaland were able to score early goals. Haaland scored his 8th goal in 6 games, not bad  On the other two games, Crystal Palace 0 - 0 Fulham and Luton Town 1 - 1 Wolves. Normal results since teams in both matches were close to each others. |

Placed a bet on Union Berlin to score in 1st half and look how this turned out ...they are already down 2-0 against Hoffenheim and barely had any good opportunities to shot towards goalie so I guess Hoffenheim will get 3 important points today that should keep them in top 3 Bundesliga.
Union Berlin this season is weaker than what they used to be in the previous one. Like we are talking about different teams. This is their third defeat in a row in Bundesliga and fourth if we consider Champions League game against Real Madrid. Union Berlin 0 - 2 Hoffenheim and things don't look promising for them right now. Dortmund - Wolsburg might be a bad surprise where we barely get to see 1 goal as both teams are playing very safe so far but I'm keeping my eyes on them on live odds ...maybe something good will appear out of nowhere.
Dortmund 1 - 0 Wolfsburg. Not a good result for a team with the weight of Dortmund and playing home. We can see Bayern Munich how badly they punished Bochum with 7 goals to 0! |

Soon we are going to have the Madrid derby in the next week, Real Madrid against Atletico Madrid, and this won't be an easy game for Atletico Madrid at all, mostly because of the recent performance we saw against Lazio and Valencia in this season.  In my opinion, i think this will not be an easy game for Real Madrid haha; because where will the goals come from? Everywhere in the world, derbies are tight games that require you to take your chances and outscore your opponent. Real Madrid do not have goal scorers; and Atletico Madrid is a side that is very difficult to score against. I think a goal victory or 2 -1 victory is possible. An anybody win tie. Whats your prediction? do you think Bellingham will get the winner for Real Madrid again ? Bellingham rescue service are needed in every Real Madrid ones especially at the end of each game. I doubt he will be available physically and mentally in all games, that's why Real Madrid should improve their scoring board. Wining with 1-2 goals is not enough for a team with their weights and Atlético Madrid will not be easy on them. |

True, they are favorites just because they play home but in terms of performance and strength of the team they are balanced and the results we get actually I think it's a bit of a betrayal of the odds  Jeremie Boga's goal at 90+1 really decided the game and Monaco were handed their first defeat of the season at home (Louis II Stadium). The match was as balanced as you'd expect but looking at the chances created Nice were actually more dominant and indeed the 3 points they got in this match were very good in my opinion for their confidence. They play home and lost by a single goal at the end of the game. Not bad after all if we consider the 2 penalties that Monaco missed them by the same player Balogun.. Now Nice are sitting in the first place in Ligue 1. Next game is easy for Nice since they will face Brest but it will be hard for Monaco since their rival is Marseille! Otherwise this Sunday PSG will fight for 3 points vs Marseille. I think odds are overestimating PSG performance. |

Manchester City - Nottingham Forest will be played tomorrow with clear advantage for Citizens. I think they could easily get at least 2 goals advantage.
Tomorrow also Manchester United will face Burnley, well if they fail in this match too then consequences will be bad for the stuff.. ManU need this victory to boost the team and fans psychologically in this unsuccessful starting.
The other 3 games that will be played tomorrow are quite balanced with slight advantage for Brentford and Wolves. Crystal Palace - Fulham is a challenging match and it is hard to predict the winner.

If you look at the quality of SPL I am still quite sure if they are still below European level. European players who come are interested not because of the competition, but indeed the money offered is quite large. This makes European players who enter retirement age and even those who have not gone to the SPL. Like Firmino, Mane they have struggled to find a team in Europe. Even they were banished from the club. But at the moment they are able to compete and perform quite well in the SPL.
Every player has a team that he could perform good in it and many others where he fails to adapt, like Lukaku, Hazard, Cristiano Ronaldo, even Messi in his first year with PSG and the list is long. Firmino and Mane are good players in Liverpool but for Mane he tried his luck in Bayern Munich and failed to adapt while Firmino didn't try to find an European club but preferred money instead.
Al-Hilal missed 2 points in today's match vs Damac, one of the two teams that failed to win a single game in Saudi Pro League and sitting near the relegation zone! The worst part is that Al-Hilal is playing with all their top players including Neymar, Mitrovic, Malcolm, Milinkovic-Savic... Thanks to this mistake, Al-Ittihad jumped to the first place in front of them. I am not sure if Al-Ahli can pick the second place from them since they will face Al-Nassr tomorrow. |

Turkish teams have completed the day nicely. First Fenerbahce played a home game against Nordsjaelland. This was technically one of the toughest games of the group for them but the game was quite comfortable for them. The final score might seem 3-1 but it would have been even a more solid victory as Fenerbahce wasted many opportunities as well.
On the other hand Besiktas managed to steal one point from a tough away game. They played against Club Brugge and I didn't like their game much in general. But even though getting 1-0 behind they managed to score the equalizer in the last minutes. This one point is valuable as it might even decide the leader later on.
Beşiktaş saved themselves for now from a defeat vs the hardest opponent in their group thought. I could call that a good step for qualification. For Fenerbahce, their direct rival is Ludogorets which trashed Spartak Trnava with 4 goals to 0 today by the way.. Otherwise teams like Dinamo Zagreb, Lille, Ferencvaros didn't have a problem to win with 2 or 5 goals difference. There is Fiorentina and worse Aston Villa and AZ Alkmaar that missed points in today's games. |

Group B has started wonderful. Both of the games being played are going on with many goals and there is a tie for both now. Ajax - Marseille is 3-3 and Brighton - AEK is 2-2 now. I'm surprised with the Brighton game the most because I wasn't expecting Brighton to have this much difficulty.
While I was making this post Brighton conceded another goal, unbelievable! It looks like they really don't want to achieve something good in the Europa League. I don't think they have such option considering their history with European competitions. They are normally the second biggest title contender according to bookmakers.
Yeah Brighton game made me feel like I might underestimated AEK Athens or overestimated Brighton a little bit maybe. The actual result is Brighton (home) 2 - 3 AEK Athens. The two goals of Brighton were scored thanks to penalties. The game almost finished with a very bad result for them.. In the other games, Liverpool, Leverkusen, Rennes, Atalanta and West Ham did pretty well with 2 goals difference or more. Olympiacos 2 - 3 Freiburg for the moment and Ajax 3 - 3 Marseille! |

Union Berlin did more of a defensive play, they made it obvious that their strength is mainly in their defense, although their defensive prowess is quite impressive but that was not we all expected of them, we expected a game where the play was supposed to be balance as the both look equal in strength of play going by their records in their various league.
I would say from what i have seen on the preview of the game that Union Berlin was not playing bad and Madrid was just lucky to score in the overtime. Lose against Madrid with just one goal isnt that bad.
Tomorrow evening there will be the game Stuttgart at home against Darmstadt and i expect if Stuttgart keep playing as the last weekend that they will win. Hopefully we dont see another surprise from Darmstaddt again as my bet goes for Stuttgart here. Definitely I am backing Stuttgart too to win. They showed better gameplay when they knocked Bochum and especially Freiburg by 5 goals each in the first and the third rounds. Darmstadt made a surprising draw vs M'Gladbach. In fact they were leading with 3 goals to 0 before they their performance dropped drastically in the second half and let M'Gladbach recover. In my opinion, Stuttgart can win this match tomorrow with 2 goals difference. |

Barcelona managed to win the first match of the Champions League in a remarkable way. This huge margin of victory will give confidence to all the players in the next matches. I think the Barcelona team is very committed to doing great things in the Champions League.
Barcelona started the season slowly with an unnecessary draw then they improved and knocked both Real Betis and Antwerp with 5 goals each in La Liga and Champions League respectively which show a very good performance from them. Well these victories send positive results to their fans but in Champions League Antwerp isn't Manchester City, nor Inter nor Bayern Munich...it is just a normal team and weaker than Barcelona. In fact the whole Group H is weaker than Barca. |
