Lol. Binance single handedly is making sure that Ethereum & Co are much less of an interesting option to build on.
Did anyone pay attention to how little use the dApps on Ethereum experience? It's piss poor and only a matter of time before Binance takes over even the last bit of Ethereum's use. Tokens are only out to achieve one thing, which is to get listed on Binance and access their massive pool of liquidity.
That will certainly happen, unless regulations somehow strike Binance with full force. I don't like Binance monopoly but they sure have some power to do things like that. Well, as long as it don't turn into a new form of 'centralised banking' then I'd be fine with it. |

We can't blame them, they used that KYC/AML verification for having probably a reason. Is just because of the giveaways of a stellar lumen and it might protecting the airdrop of steller lumen project from possible abusers. Well, that is our call if we can exchange our identity to $25 from airdrop then, it's up to you. If we have the same data (not only digital data but real data) the hash would always be the same. What do we need blockchain for this? At what stage blockchain is used? To store data? Isn't it more efficient if we use IPFS or simply centralised storage?
Using blockchain for storing translations would be a waste.

oh wait, it turns out I didn't get electrum 3.3.4, on the website it says it is 3.3.4 but when i install it and open it it says electrum 2.9.3, just like the last one, so that's totally dumb. any way of solving that problem? i'm using the installer on this page: https://electrum.org/#downloadi tried installing both the standalone executable and windows installer, and they both say electrum 2.9.3. do i have to uninstall old electrum first or something? do you have any ideas how to fix this? That's definitely weird. The link that you put there should give you the latest file. So it's either you didn't install the latest version or the shortcut you use linked to the older one. Have you tried using the portable version? |

From what I read in the SEC denial of the Gemini Trust ETF, this may not be enough to guarantee approval, though, as it sounds like they wanted some sort of fraud monitoring agreements with other SEC-approved exchanges, and I'm not sure there are any...
If we need centralised party to manage this kind of problem, I think it's a bit ironic. We should've another alternative such as decentralised exchange, but the problem is lack of volume. Unless centralised exchanges got taken down by government, I think DEX with high-volume and low spread is not possible (DEX as in cross-chain DEX). Well, anyway I hope those people who 'manipulate' the market can get punished if they are really guilty. |

@abhie saya rasa ada kemungkinan skenario seperti yang om sebutin, developer koin berupaya untuk menjaga agar volume trading naik dan tembus peringkat 500, khususnya bagi koin-koin yang market utamanya ada di Indodax/Indonesia. Hanya saja strategi ini pasti butuh banyak biaya dan ga akan sustainable. Saya rasa ke depannya Indodax bisa aja netapin syarat bulanan harus tetap di atas 1 M atau tembus peringkat 500 marketcap, sehingga yang benar-benar survive hanya koin yang kuat saja.

Block halving itu kalau menurut ane lebih tepatnya tingkat emisi yang berubah. Memang hal ini bisa mempengaruhi sirkulasi, cuma sirkulasi sendiri bisa dipengaruhi banyak hal dan tidak hanya dari tingkat emisi koin dari hadiah mining, bisa juga dari banyaknya yang ngehold dan beli koinnya dari exchange. |

i only see litecoin, monero or ethereum as potential main currencys those were always the coins that were really used. i especially like monero as anoncoin.
I really doubt the future of Ethereum. With the marketing power from EOS or TRX, or maybe even Binance Chain, they can lose easily if they don't do anything. I doubt decentralisation narrative is that much important for developers who only look for profits. Die hard decentralisation is probably a minority in dapps business. |

Another option is to buy or trade here in this forum. You can use escrow so you can feel safer (use multisig). But maybe you can't do it via credit card, maybe you can do it with Payeer or altcoins. Any specific reasons why you do not want to do KYC for exchange? I think it is safe if you do it on trusted exchange.
Because he loves anonymity. There's no guarantee 'trusted exchange' won't leak your data outside, remember the case with Facebook. |

Tapi ane rasa skenario harga naik jauh lebih baik daripada skenario harga turun (gak berlaku universal karena sangat terikat konteks), karena meskipun pendapatan dibagi-bagi, tapi keamanan jaringan bisa lebih baik daripada sebelumnya (dan belum tentu juga pendapatan yang dibagi" itu nantinya ga menutupi atau ga memberikan profit yang cukup untuk 'survival' si miner).

Can someone please give me examples of centralized and decentralized exchange platforms? Did I get it right, that centralized platforms have your private key?? I think I never used a centralized platform. As far as I know, no one has my private key...I hope.  Centralised = Binance, Bittrex, Poloniex, etc. Decentralised = Forkdelta, IDEX, Binance DEX (not yet live), WavesDEX, etc. For your second question, yes. Centralised 'hold' your private key. In fact you never have an actual wallet as your deposit address is owned by them. |

Sepemahaman ane agan bisa konek VPN apa saja selama punya akun. Aplikasi" seperti itu biasanya hanya berisi VPN client dan cara kerjanya mirip". Kalau agan mau aman bisa register VPN di layanan tertentu lalu login pakai vpn bawaan windows, atau sekalian saja make SSH. Dan BTW ekstensi VPN yang diinstall di browser memang harus diwaspadai (ekstensi apapun tetap berbahaya) karena bisa aja ada kode jahatnya. Jadi intinya verifikasi. I think you should also add Elrond and LTO Network community platform. They build a community platform where supporters can help them with adoption and get rewards in return (in forms of their tokens). I think that's a new way of 'bounty hunting' where users needs to be really an active and 'real' supporters in order to get rewards. So instead of quick writing and dumping, you need to make lots of articles or other contents and holds tokens.

The language part definitely needs to be worked on. I don't know but it looks like some parts of the website won't change into other language and stuck to the Russian language. It kinda reminds me about Korean exchange that doesn't change all of its part even though I select the English language. Other than that I think it's enough.
