961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL your ALTCOIN! We are almost on ALT SEASON right now on: April 01, 2021, 11:29:50 AM
this effect of increasing bitcoin is very high, making altcoin prices have increased. so I think altcoin season is coming soon and this is a sign that altcoin is experiencing a good upturn. so I think this is the best news for altcoins

for me altseason already started, after a lot of TOP altcoins create new high in price mate
and if the green market continues for sure, other top and medium altcoins with active development will fly too

You guys are mistaking things up and with my research the current market we're in is called bullish market which usually happen after Bitcoin halving and Bitcoin will lead every altcoin but altcoin season is when the altcoin trend is what will determine the market price.

So in your opinion, altcoin prices have not risen? Or did they increase insufficiently, because for me you can see at first glance that a huge amount of altcoins from top300 increased by 300% and more. If this is not an altseason for you, then I wonder what is?
I'm sure my statement is completely clear cause I didn't say altcoin price hasn't risen and what I said is that we're not in altcoin season because we are in Bitcoin halving effect market. However, altcoin season is when price of the market is determine price is prove by altcoin because investment flows will be more heavily into altcoins than into Bitcoin so altcoin will lead while Bitcoin will follow but this current market Bitcoin lead while altcoin follow
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If a project gets too complicated on: March 31, 2021, 10:48:52 PM
there's nothing we can call investment if the investors don't trust the project owner. How can you expect people to just accept a complicated project just the way it was.
Agreed, the investment will come from the trust by the secondary party to the first party who will be running the development to create a product that can be used by a lot of people.
Usually, the complicated project will become a very difficult thing to be developed and this is happening so many times when project was taking the a complicated idea and they will always be ended as scam project but this depends on the how skillful the developers too.
The trust people had in Bitcoin is what make Bitcoin the number one crypto till now but still how skillful the developer is shouldn't be used to justify a project been complicated and it does not save a project from been scam.
963  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BOT TRADING on: March 31, 2021, 08:20:45 PM
human inteligence isnt artifical but bots are however it will depend in the algo and the trader if which can do trade effectively because i can rather go for the algo than copy a live trader but that trader isnt performing well In his trades  .
i havent tried both though but i better like the old school of trading which is to trade manually because i have lots of time and i have some knowledge
Every form of trading (copy, bots etc) have it own risk involving but it all depend on the trader knowledge, how the trader is willing to take the risk and luck because crypto currency trading is risky itself that's why people compare it with gambling.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could we crowdfund a movie about Satoshi Nakamoto? on: March 31, 2021, 08:03:58 PM
It's funny sometimes when I see what you guys consider cryptocurrency realm to be, a place to raise fund to make a movie about someone (Satoshi Nakamoto) that value his privacy and no one know the genuine story about his biography.
Wait are you trying to spread false information about him?
This is another scam strategy isn't it?
965  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would it be wise to use domestic and foreign exchanges separately? on: March 31, 2021, 07:14:58 PM
I am trading cryptocurrency in Korea, and I am using two different exchange platforms: a exchange called Dove Wallet and Binance, due to liquidity and also a price difference called Kimchi Premium. Is it common to use two or more exchanges?
It's very common to use two or more exchanges because every exchange have their own benefit and you using the dove will also help you since it a local exchange and I read that the Asian crypto market price is usually higher than international exchange price.
966  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Riddles and Brain-Teasers for Bitcointalk Members (Newbies – Members) on: March 31, 2021, 06:55:21 PM
In addition to what others have said. I believe Peter's mistake started from not seeking knowledge about how to make a profitable investment in crypto first and also having the thought of cryptocurrency to be quick to the rich scheme which was also the same mistakes most newbies of this day make.

968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New to this on: March 31, 2021, 06:14:44 PM
I really am new to this and haven't even started investing yet. I wasn't trying to plug a coin, I literally just looked at which coins had the biggest gain on Coin Market Cap and saw that it had huge swings.
If you new to cryptocurrency investment then pursuing or investing in coin because it was among the highest gain will make you lose your investment. Most of this altcoin are hype base project and it pump in price shouldn't be trust.
You said it yourself that the coin goes up and down in price anytime show it to be total risk investment.

969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: significance of different altcoilns on: March 31, 2021, 08:44:14 AM
Hey Guys, im still very new to crypto.  is there a resource to learn about the significance of different altcoins before investing?
Since you are new in the cryptocurrency investment, I think chasing after altcoin investment is not a good idea because an altcoin is highly manipulated and 98% of all altcoin are shitcoin which were create to profit the team involved.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If a project gets too complicated on: March 30, 2021, 10:46:51 PM
I believe everything is complex about cryptocurrency but the basic knowledge of it makes the next level a bit less complicated depending on whether you have a higher knowledge of codes or not. But still It dissent matter, you have to accept a project for what it is and then move to adopt it.
You said something good but we're talking about investment here and there's nothing we can call investment if the investors don't trust the project owner. How can you expect people to just accept a complicated project just the way it was.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you get mad when the price of your cryptos go higher after you have sold on: March 29, 2021, 10:24:23 PM
Yes! That is the irony known as unlucky.  I kept ETH in 2018 from $ 800 until the market was hit by a lot of bans and triggered an extremely pessimistic sentiment.  In the end, when I couldn't curb the thirst of anger, I sold all my ETH for $ 150.  It is a lesson in perseverance.  You can keep choosing HOLD the "right time" but at the right time is completely different!
Wow! You're every right to be mad but I'm still surprised though you sold your investment at lost price when the cryptocurrency profitable investment advice was not to sell at lost price cause the price of the market will always reach another ATH after Bitcoin halving.

973  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MEW wallet [compromised/hacked] on: March 27, 2021, 11:19:42 PM
So sorry mate. It seems that they really stole your funds and you are right. Probably they are watching the wallet for a long time and just waiting for a good time to conduct the the incident. Now, they really did it and get some money out of it. Sorry to hear that, most likely you need to do now is secure your other wallets while still you can. The one that has been compromised is already a dead wallet and dangerous for even to you to use on such transactions. I'm wondering how could they get your file in spite of your security Im thinking it's a close friend of you who double crosses you.
Hopefully, nothing else will be affected by my accounts and wallets.  That hacker is very sharp because he knows what he is doing.  It looks like that is his job to make money.  What if there was a thread here that lists all the scammer and addresses used by hackers.  It seems that he was able to transfer the tokens to another address where he stored the ones he stole.  We don't know if the hacker is a member of this forum and can be connected to other addresses he uses. Can a mixer be used for ETH?
Yes but there is no genuine crypto mixer for ETH and if you keep track of all the wallet where the hacker send the coins to, googling it or check the one that link to exchange site and report it the wallet.
You might be advantageous.
974  Economy / Economics / Re: New Concept on: March 27, 2021, 11:12:08 PM
I guess most of the concepts with the intervention and use of crypto has already been proposed by most projects. From donation, to rewards, to utilities and other stuff that I can imagine, most of them have already been told.

I think if you're wanting to make a project and thinking of a concept, find a problem that will really solve it and having a real and actual use case. Nothing new right? it's just about the authenticity of the project.
I don't believe most of the concept that have to do with crypto has already been proposed by most projects if we actually look around us, what's the world is going through and create a solution to peoples problem a new idea will break out.

Coming up with ideas isn't hard. There are always opportunities for solving common problems shared by all.
Yeah, this is the reason almost all Jack and Joe are coming up with new coin/tokens these days because they just need some idea which can be derived from existing coins as well but eventually most of them ending up as a well planned scam. Yeah, new concepts are available everywhere but not dedicated and honest people.
It no denying that Jack and Joe emulate others idea but I won't consider it as solving problems or coming with ideas.
975  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers always hunt for the greedy ones on: March 27, 2021, 04:02:32 PM
The reason why there are tons of newbies who would like to join the cryptocurrency investment because they think once they join they can speed up the money they have which is a mistake and canses the scammers to hunt them and try to pretend to help them and if they got the trust of their victims this is the time they will try to scam them.
This is the reason why we always told never to trust other people better to trust ourselves.
Newbies having the though of making 2x profit or more through their investment is not a negative thought judging by the potential of the crypto market and  it not mistake either. However, greediness is what makes newbies prone to scammers and even experienced crypto investors.
976  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-03-25]Ray Dalio on the possibility of banning BTC in the US on: March 27, 2021, 02:48:19 PM
Ray is a Gold enthusiast and I don't expect him to support Bitcoin as he did with Gold cause Bitcoin is already affecting the price of Gold market.
Having said that, the only thing I think will lead to Bitcoin ban is if it not an innovative/future currency and fortunately Bitcoin is. However, the worse things the US government would do is try to regulate the exchange and I don't see them ban Bitcoin because of that though they may place some restriction on Bitcoin when the launch their CBDC so that Bitcoin won't compete It.

978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 26, 2021, 03:12:19 PM
It won't be that easy for the developing countries. They are still striving for the daily needs to they could just hope or dream for the bitcoin one day. I mean the denominations for the different countries are as follows and but not limited to them only!

1 BTC = 1,98,74,824 Nigerian Niara
1 BTC = 40,00,000 INR

I mean one is under developed and other is almost modest country but there currencies are off the chart when compared to the Bitcoin.

You see owning whole BTC is big challenge. Im sure everyone can buy bits, but considering the fees and conversion rates, pssshh, that would sweat the butt!

It won't be easy for some, but it ain't impossible either. Now, it's going to be completely up to them if they would adjust their lifestyle for them to be able to stack more sats or not.

As for conversion fees, they're percentage based though. So if the money you're converting is low, the fees(in fiat value) is going to be low as well. As for owning one whole bitcoin, seriously, while it's a good goal have, people should stop becoming too obsessed, thinking that having one whole unit should be a requirement or something.
Bitcoin is considered to be the hedge against fiat currencies which the reason why institutional investors and companies like Tesla also invested and accept Bitcoin as payment because we are in a situation where fiat currency has a denying real interest which makes it lose value.
The only thing a minimum wage individual can do is invested a fraction of her earning into Bitcoin rather than saving her fund in the Bank

980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is falling fast right now. At what point do you get out? on: March 25, 2021, 06:29:40 AM
$1500? $1400? Surely at some point you guys will want to get out until things settle down, right? Thanks.
The market bullish trend is still very much active and the best profitable trading decision is to accumulate more if there's extra capital but there's no extra capital there's reason in selling the investment now because of the current dump in price.
