Just letting everyone know I moved the funds from the pool to a different address so not to worry if you notice the funds have moved.

This week I didn’t choose as many draws as I usually do and the funny thing this time we had 5 draws so far.I only scored three points with Everton-Liverpool correct score and every thing else is wrong. It says I am at 26 place from 49 but the Superbru engine is busy and I know this should be an error.
I usually pick a few draws each round , but after having only 3 draws in the first 4 rounds - I decided to change my system - doh ! 5 draws this round so far and a shocking 1.5 pts for me  Huh

I think that's where I've been going wrong this season as I pick draws when I can't split the teams but when it's hard to split the teams it's certainly hard to pick the winner. Two of the draws I picked this week came in though including one correct score.

What the hell is happening? I have 1 point from 8 games Grin

27,5 points in 5 rounds, that averages as 5,5 points per round. I'm 45th out of 50 participants and I'm mostly picking favorites.

This will be a crazy season.

Now you know how I felt last week. It happens to everyone though. Lots of draws this week and a couple of shock results I really didn't expect Leicester to lose. Really surprised that six people went with the Villa away win.
962  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, Lauda! on: October 19, 2020, 10:21:17 AM
Like Quickseller, even if you're not that active on your main account for some reason I get the feeling Lauda will still be around in one form or another.

It seems that Lauda's account is already blocked. I tried to send her a farewell PM but I received this error: "User 'Lauda' has blocked your personal message.". I doubt she blocked specifically my PMs lol, as we never had any fight.

Damn, good catch.  I am pretty sure that she didn’t specifically block my PMs, either.

The account isn't blocked or banned as of yet at least. You can block messages from everyone as far as I recall.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 19, 2020, 06:35:56 AM
Cracking equaliser for West Ham in injury time and they scored 3 goals all after the 82 minute. Wasn't expecting that result and only two people backed the draw and nobody went for the West Ham win which isn't surprising.

I also see Burley as the favourite in their match against WBA, but will probably chose a score like 2:1 for them. No handicaps for sure.

That game looks like a draw to me. Either way I won't be watching it. Could be zero goals in that.

Leeds - Wolves could be a good match, I currently have 2:1 for wolves in our pool but I could be changing that. I really don't know what to do with this game. Both to score will be my bet but each team has their chances here and it will come out to luck or 94th minute goal. Can already feel another late twist.

Leeds should win given their form, though I think it will be close. With that being said I think Leeds will slip up eventually and it will be to a team that you don't expect.
964  Other / Meta / Re: Full transparency on the forum? Why not? on: October 19, 2020, 06:27:06 AM
Why are you asking the same questions and expecting different results? It would be a nightmare if things like this were public. In real life do you get to see who everyone voted for or who grassed you up to the police? Of course not. There's a reason why you need some privacy and it should be up to the individual if they want to share that info with you. People would be worried to report posts if it was public and the same goes for mods handling them. If a post is against the rules it should be reported and people shouldn't have to fear reprisals for doing so. If it's against the rules then a mod will handle it; if not, it will either be marked as bad or left alone. If you feel like your posts are being targeted either by users of staff then state your case in Meta and they will be looked into.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 17, 2020, 09:04:46 PM
Fucks sake. Had the correct score at 1-1 up until the 88th minute and united then went and scored another 3 before full time. I think Newcastle deserved a point but Newcastle obviously got tired towards the end.

I don't understand how is it possible to get these VAR decisions so wrong. Henderson's goal is clearly onside.

Don't know if you heard, but the first news are that Van Dijk has torn his ACL and that he's lost for the whole season. If so, we are practically out of the title race.
It is the only injury that could hurt us in such way - it will be really hard to go all season with only 2 centre backs who are often injured and with Fabinho as cover. I hope we buy something during the winter window.

Everything in this derby went against us today.

Nothing has been confirmed yet has it and looks like speculation but Klopp has said it doesn't look good apparently.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 17, 2020, 03:47:09 PM

people should be up in arms against VAR rules for not calling Pickford's "tackle" a straight red card, Van Dijk's leg coulda been torn to several pieces Lips sealed   GK should've been sent off regardless of the offside

I just watched the highlights and saw that. In my opinion he was very lucky not to get carded. Could have broke Van Dyke's leg. Maybe he has done some damage. Did they only not give it because it was apparently off side? It looked towards the end when the Everton player got sent off Mane lashed out and purposely tripped the player who just tackled him as well. He probably should have been carded for that. I still don't see the offside that denied the last goal. From that picture it's not clear what is offside? His elbow? That shouldn't count. If you saw a top-down eagle eye view I think that would tell a different story. Either way these calls are silly.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 17, 2020, 02:34:38 PM
Unfortunately not. Everything came in apart from I needed two Everton corners in the second half and they had zero. It's often the corners that let me down. I missed out on I think a 180/1 or something a couple of weeks ago by one corner. Finished 2-2 so at least I got the correct score on the pool. Liverpool had a goal cancelled in the last minute for being a millimeter offside on var as well.

Ah sorry yeah, I misread the pick, thought it was 2 corners each and Everton had exactly 2 corners. And yeah, I wish my brain remembers not to celebrate cause I honestly thought we got it in the bag at 92nd min. Forgot to wait for VAR and as soon as the decision took forever, I knew we were going to have to settle for the draw.

Pity. I thought we just barely deserved 3 points.

@toke: I actualy was eyeing Mane all the way, he was walking back from offside and then he got himself back in, and sprung, which Thiago spotted. Oh well. 10 points from 5 isn't TOO shitty haha...

Now for my boy Ings. Need to draw level first though, Werner's just scored.

It's taking the fun out of it for me and seemingly the players. Oftentimes they don't celebrate and you can't as a spectator either because half of the time they get disallowed. It's a joke. Stealing the win in the last minute should be something both fans and players go mental over, but now it's just going mental over var. I still think they should adjust the offside rule somehow or at least only check goals if there's a concern or the opposite team wants to use one of their three claims.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 17, 2020, 01:35:55 PM
Looks like you got the 67/1 hilarious! I knew it was a good bet too before the match, didn't realise it'd be THIS close though. I suppose we cann't be having 6/7 goal thrillers all of the time eh? 5 mins on the clock and it does look like we're going to be sharing points again. I think we should still have won this earlier. VVD out in 10 mins was really really unexpected though damn. Zero height in defence.

^  I feel like it's gonna end 1 - 1.  Nothing against Liverpool, it's just a lot of players came right back from international duty.

I'm really looking forward to see Thiago tho.  I think he'll prolly have the most impact among the new signings in the EPL.

Edit:  Mane goal.  Rofl..  Looks like I'm wrong..  Again.  Cheesy  Don't listen to me.

Edit:  So it's 1 - 1.  What are the odds it holds til FT?  Lol.

Edit:  Anybody think that was deserving of a yellow card on Rodriguez?

I missed the first half other than the last five minutes. Have I missed much other than the goals? I was starting to sweat a little as Everton only had one corner kick looking at the stats but then they got another a minute or so before half time so my bet is still in running. Just need a few cards, 2 more corners each and two goals a piece:

Who's looked like the better team so far? Went with 2-2 on the predictor so hopefully that comes in at least.
970  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin talk could fix the spam in one move....REMOVE SIGNATURE...Right?? on: October 17, 2020, 06:03:30 AM
Well it's been discussed many a time before and threads like this always pop up every once in a while and I as well others usually offer the same suggestions over and over. You could of course restrict signatures to certain ranks and that would help a bit, but it wouldn't be a solution to the problem as there are thousands of highly ranked accounts that do make low quality posts and will continue to do so. I also think it would be harsh to blanket ban lower-ranked members when there will be great posters among them and to get a high rank is hard and also very time consuming (unless we offered more donator ranks which some with the benefits of higher ranks). I think a much fairer solution would be just to enforce the signature campaign guidelines and punish poorly run campaigns and the problem would likely solve itself. Do you ban roads because there's a minority of idiots who want to joyride and go 150MPH everywhere?  No, you punish the idiots who are causing the problem. The forum is in a bad way because there's absolutely no ramifications for doing a bad job but once there is people will quickly learn that it's not acceptable to do a shoddy job.
I understand what you mean, but am just trying to out suggestions out there.

I think, maybe, instead of waiting for admins to enforce signature guidelines, why don't you update your thread in the services board? If any manager is personally responsible for spreading more span, he should be banned for a day first, then 3, then a week, etc.

I know it won't curb down spam, and its hard to find each and every single manager that allows their campaign participants to spam, but this is still a possibility considering the options available out here which isn't alot.

Well, it's not my job and if theymos doesn't care to do anything about it I'm not going to waste time trying to stop a sinking ship as it's futile and only going to cause me stress and headaches and waste time and money for me. We actually need his involvement to enforce the guidelines because signatures need to be blacklisted if campaigns and/or their managers are banned because the campaigns will continue on without them as they can just as easily run them off site. Bans might only make them do less to clean their campaign up as well so it could be counter-productive and this is why we need theymos's input unless he can delegate signature blacklists to others.

So if you have received an answer this is already a good sign!
And with the information it contains (according to your posting) it looks good.
So be patient and then your problem will be solved Wink

Well it might just be a generic email they send once you apply. And it might be a if everything checks out you can reset after seven days. It usually has to be a bitcoin message as well but eth is better than nothing in these circumstances. Icoshef actually posted the signed message here but deleted it for some reason. It would be best if someone can verify it because if he's done it wrong he might not get a response.
972  Other / Meta / Re: I ask for help about the ban shef198911 on: October 16, 2020, 01:56:11 PM
I have on the forum appears only eth adress, made a signature on the guide, but this address was not quoted, is it fashionable now for someone to quote this message in the bounty branch, so I can send it as proof that it is mine, or just throw a message on the forum where I indicated it?

This is post, this my adress
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5273984.msg55158743#msg55158743

It doesn't have to be quoted but I did so below. As long as it's not edited that's fine but admins can see post edits anyhow. If you can sign the message and post it here at least someone can verify it before you pass it onto the admins. As long as it checks out though I can unban it for you.

973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 16, 2020, 01:53:25 PM
Merseyside Derby tomorrow, I’m excited to see this game, I wonder if Everton can really lay down a marker. If Everton can win then it might give them confidence to really think they can put in a proper title challenge.

This game has got a draw written all over it to me, but I could see Everton winning. I'll see what the line-ups are like before I commit though. Not having any fans is going to take the passion out of the derby so that makes the home advantage a little bit less however. Everton will have the underdog spirit and the confidence from being unbeaten so far this season but Liverpool will want to bounce back from the embarrassment last week, but maybe Everton can take advantage of Liverpool's shakiness and bruised confidence.

That's right, 20 games in a row Everton never won a single game!

Can they defend their first place spot?

Yeah, but that's not going to carry on forever. I think Everton can win this, but a draw is more likely.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 16, 2020, 01:44:51 PM
My predictions are done, I’m fed up of performing so badly, fingers crossed for a yellow cap this weekend hehe.
Either way I’m glad the PL is back this weekend, the internationals just don’t do it for me.

Well nobody is doing as bad as me  Grin. I'm sure I'll bounce back but not sure I'll get close to a paid place especially as there's 50 users now.

^^^Yeah, the rules are getting more and more ridiculous where I am too, and it's also not enforced anyway so you could be doing it and everyone else on the crowded public transport isn't, so it's pointless anyway. Anyway.

Hoping we don't suffer more Covid cases for Everton, there's never been a better time for the blue side of Mersey to hit us.

Keeping my predictions... and thinking of betting 1 each on Southampton, Arsenal and Newcastle as I just feel like one of them will pip the favourite. 6/1, 6/1 and 5/1 for those three. Not bad value, right?

It's barely enforced here but the police have been breaking things like weddings and parties up because they've had more than the allowed number of guests. Most people are wearing masks but at least a quarter don't have them covering their nose so it's pointless. They're now talking about even more extreme measures and locking down entire cities again, especially ones in the north where I am. It's stopping a lot of sports from happening like big boxing fights because they can't go on without the fans unless. A lot of teams aren't going to be able to survive if they don't get the fans back as that's the main source of income for a lot of teams outside of the big ones.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 16, 2020, 09:04:03 AM
Dunno...  I'm not too sure that would be a good idea with many of the players from both sides just right off from international duty.  I think it's gonna be a tight match and I'm thinking of dropping a little action on the first half result draw at a tad over plus money.

I'm not expecting it to come in but they're always an entertaining bet and you're not banking on a winner and the more goals and cards the more entertaining it becomes. I don't think I can pick a winner in the match so might go for a draw.

On games like this I usually like something like both teams to score (or both teams to score in both halves), 2 cards each team and 2 corners each half by both team. You usually get good odds on them at least on Skybet what I use. Don't know what the odds are yet as they haven't put the bet up yet but it's usually between 80-200/1 for both teams to score in both halves. The same bet on the England v Denmark match tonight is 300/1 but I wouldn't back that one. If you think there's going to be goals then it's often a good bet though.
By the way, if anyone wants to to join the Champion's League pool you can now do so here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5282018.msg55378160#msg55378160

I don't mean to plug Sportsbet here but their new betbuilder is exactly what allows for these types of bets (I'm a sucker for those specials sometimes). They seem to have a small boost to each selection too, so you end up with a nice bump too. Not quite the value of Skybet but definitely something I like to think about.

I usually go for over 1.5 cards and over 8.5 corners on a games I expect to be very attacking/defending on one end. It's when both teams play the same style I avoid. They're not really very good value odds on their on but they tape on significant boosts on ML odds.

I had no idea you get 80/1 for that kind of thing. Going to have to see if can build that sort of bet next time. The way teams are playing these days...

I usually just stick with Skybet to keep it simple. I like their odds and offers as well. The bet for the Liverpool/ Everton game is 66/1. I put a quid on it. IF you make a minimum of 5p bet on any market on the match they give you a free £5 bet which is nuts. Have 3 or 4 or these so far this season.

It is getting slowly to us now.I am going to put my predictions so I don’t forget. The pause because of the National teams was really boring and the Nations League games were even more boring to watch on Tv.Now time to watch the lovely Premier League which is famous for not boring games.

They really shouldn’t be playing these pointless international games when there’s a global pandemic happening.
International football is dull as hell too, I haven’t been interested in it since I was about 12, it just gets in the way of my main love LFC.

I think we should just carry on as normal rather than ruin the economy likely for decades and life for millions. Ronaldo's got the coronavirus apparently but it's almost certainly going to be no different than him having the flu at worse but apparently he's asymptomatic. Apparently he was even watching the players at training without a mask on so like 99% of others he's probably going to be fine. If footballers start dying from it then I might change my opinion. Rather than waste billions of taxpayers money on furloughing people they should have just built more hospitals in the first place since we obviously need them. The elderly and at-risk and anyone else that is worried about it can stay at home and everyone else can carry on an normal unless it changes into a zombie plague or something. Getting tired of all these contradictory lockdown bullshit rules. Can't meet your family in your own homes but you can get on a packed bus as long as you wear a mask to meet them in a packed restaurant for a meal where you don't have to wear a mask... just as long as it's not after 10PM then you're not allowed to do it.
976  Other / Meta / Re: Project Development board change? on: October 15, 2020, 12:33:50 PM
I don't think it is about protecting their feelings.

It's not really about protecting their feelings

Really, that's what you both took from my rant? Grin

No, seriously, I get it. But what's the worst that can happen with those ratings visible? It's just a possibility that someone may see the opinion of a red-trusted user as less  valuable. And perhaps it is. Or isn't. If said user is concerned about it I'd call it hurt feelings, nothing more. Quite regularly someone would dig up my untrusted feedback and call me a scammer so trust visibility has little to do with people being idiots about it.

Bottom line - why don't we leave it to users to decide for themselves. We expect everyone to fend for themselves in the ocean of scams proliferating here but we hide a tool they could use. Keep in mind that scammers don't follow the rules when it comes to posting their scams. If you enable trust ratings in Project Development they'll use some other board where the ratings are not visible.

As I said before, I wouldn't have a problem with it being shown everywhere, but I'm just reiterating theymos logic/reasoning for not doing it. Maybe he'll change his mind or maybe he won't. Hopefully he will comment to update us but I wouldn't hold your breath. Like you said, people do dig up people's feedback as a point of attack and often when it's not relevant but when it's there in your face it tends to get brought up even more. Again, I'm not saying that's why we should keep it like it is. Showing the feedback will almost certainly lead to some people not being scammed because of it and personally I would prefer people to not get scammed than people bickering ver reputation issues but it is what it is.

theymos and cyrus please read this post, and please help solve this issue

Message them directly as they likely won't see this. If you can sign a message from an address you posted as well that will help a lot and likely speed up the process. In the meantime change your password on that account to secure it. If you can sign a message then PM me on my hilariousandco account and I can unlock it but it's best to contact the admins about it first as they have access to IP logs and will be in a better position than i am to see what went on.

LoyceV's bot would also catching this if a post is quoted as you can see from this example here from this User

So i really guess that the Account got Hacked as the most Accounts that posting that Link .

Thanks. Maybe he just had a weak password then as he said above. I'm sure if people have a very weak password they can be hacked fairly easily, and it would certainly explain why the eth spammer has seemingly hacked hundreds of accounts.

what should I do?( I didn't write this, and I didn't quote it( I just want to get my account back

modet there is some possibility to track the ip address from which the message was sent with a permanent my ip

Yes, but only admins can see this info so contact theymos and cyrus. If they see that it's likely it was hacked then they may unban it. In the meantime I'd advise that you to change your passwords as well.
979  Other / Meta / Re: Project Development board change/move? on: October 14, 2020, 02:46:54 PM

<rant>
As to the opinions... I find it quite ridiculous that we're trying to protect the feelings of red-trusted users, who may or may not be "discriminated" in a discussion because of their red trust, at the expense of everyone else. More than that, we don't moderate scams so we're expecting everyone - including newbies - to DYOR while making information such as trust ratings harder to access.
</rant>

It's not really about protecting their feelings and the argument still stands that even if you're a scammer or an unscrupulous user that doesn't really have any bearing if you wanted to talk about politics or something else. If you're a genuinely nasty user then I don't really care that much, but what I do have a problem with though is just the users who've been tagged for something that someone else doesn't like or is frowned upon here. Not all feedback 'crimes' are equal here. Selling an account will likely get you negative but it's not against the rules and is hardly a crime. I have negative feedback from Timelord and if he ever gets on DT then that is going to show up. That shouldn't be there in the first place and I certainly wouldn't want it showing up in certain subs.

Saturday can't get here fast enough!

You can say that again, the international breaks are so dull. It’s all about the PL & CL for me, everything else bores the hell out of me. Need to do my predictions for the weekend Smiley

I hate international breaks, especially friendly matches. Only unnecessarily burden the players.
It will be fine if we have a list of players who will not play because of a positive Covid test. I think Liverpool had some new cases. It can be important because they have to play a very hard game against Everton.

It's nice to see some teams play, especially the big fixtures, but I don't like it when they don't take them serious and field b-teams. With that being said, friendlies are beneficial as practice for international tournaments but this whole nation's League thing is a bit of a joke. I get why they did it though but it's just another cash cow at the end of the day.

Saturday can't get here fast enough!

Yup!  And first match of the weekend...  Early kick off game between Everton and Liverpool!  Yeeesszz!

Everton is running hot with Calvert-Lewin and Liverpool kinda shakey at the back...  Adrian.  Cheesy

First impression for the match BTTS and over 2.5 combo at 1.62.  Not much value.

Edit:  Anytime goal scorer for Calvert-Lewin is 2.29..  Hmmm.  What do you guys think?

On games like this I usually like something like both teams to score (or both teams to score in both halves), 2 cards each team and 2 corners each half by both team. yeah, League of Nations does not have any real meaning, and it is really boring to watch, especially if your country is not doing well, as is the case with Serbia, nobody is watching the competition here, we wait for the match with Scotland for European championship

regarding Premier league, can't wait to watch match in Liverpool, we are at top form at the moment, and this break is only good for LFC, but hopefully we will score and win after several dry years

Friendlies usually don't have any meaning but that's why they created this Nation's League to try give it some.
