981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think of 'Spydercrusher' indicator for Tradingview? on: April 22, 2019, 04:14:25 PM
But I think it's not enough for you to use the paid indicator if you don't have the basics skills in trading because I am sure that you need to understand how the indicator works so you can be able to work with the other indicator.

This is a very wise saying and a reasonable one for that matter because, if you are bereaved of the ideas of what defunct indicators are and can do, you might find it difficult to even relate with the robots that you paid for.
982  Economy / Economics / Re: Undervalued Bitcoin Will Be a ‘Multi-Trillion Dollar Asset Class,’ Says Analyst on: April 22, 2019, 11:31:19 AM
Bitcoin’s gains may not be parabolic, but the price is moving steadily higher. With BTC currently hovering at the $5,300 level, the mood around crypto has improved tremendously. Nonetheless, the bitcoin price continues to trade 75% below its peak.

This $75% down in ATH as currently analyzed as going to reduced as soon as it can be because after the first week of April growth, bitcoin has been steadily increasing. We are going to see the outcome of what happened last two years.
983  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best place to compare crypto prices on: April 22, 2019, 10:49:53 AM
Sites like this are good to make a good ground for competition. Cmc has been the site used mostly for research, view and analysis of coin based on the data available from cmc but if we still have more of such sites, that is better.
984  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: April 22, 2019, 08:32:47 AM
Africa is not a single country. There are more than 50 different nations and the laws and regulations regarding Bitcoin can be different for each of them. From what I have heard, sizable markets exist in three of the African nations - Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya. So as a first step, we can concentrate on these nations and later expand to the others.
Nigeria especially, they have really adopted bitcoin and there are lots of bitcoin traders and investors there. It’s been a long time that people there accepted bitcoin and I can remember that Luno even has their location there.

I haven’t heard or read much about crypto in other African countries. I have been seeing some interesting things about bitcoin happening there, some people even has the work of buying and exchanging bitcoin or any other type of cryptocurrency. There’s no place that is bad for cryptocurrency as long as the government allows it there. Cryptocurrency is decentralized and everyone is free to make use of it as long as it is allowed there in their country.

I don’t even know what made OP thinks of this kind of question, there are already lots of people making use of cryptocurrency there in Africa and lots of countries there allows the use of it. There are technologies there as well, though they are still developing, but there are countries there that are developing fast.

I think that usage of a crypto coin is not same as adoption. I have not read where an African government has made a statement of adoption of bitcoin. Yes people can use it and trade it just like other countries do. Adoption is total acceptance that the government too will incorporate into the financial system.
985  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump security adviser unveils new U.S. sanctions to pressure Cuba, Venezuela on: April 22, 2019, 08:04:28 AM
I think the ban is outside what bitcoin can do or can not because US does not have any global regulation on bit neither do any other country has. So, the usage of bitcoin and cryptocurrency won't be affected in those mentioned countries in my view.
986  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List your tokens for FREE on: April 19, 2019, 08:04:34 PM
Not bad for an exchange but allowing free listing and no commission might make your exchange a cheap place to dump unworthy and shit tokens, thereby making your exchange less sort for .
987  Economy / Economics / Re: What is p2p lending on: April 19, 2019, 04:05:10 PM
It's a flawed business idea because you can't really track down a person in Nigeria from USA for few hundred dollars!

This is exactly the issue with p2p. Once you are cheated, then forget it Grin

It involves high level of trust.

I should say is more like cryptocurrency itself, decentralized  Grin
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coin Prediction Platform on: April 19, 2019, 03:10:15 PM
Predictions are what they are. So whether they come from a site or p2p, they can't cause the price to do otherwise. Prediction is an instinct, a sentimental judgement of market direction. I'm just careful with prediction sites.
989  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Signature Campaign (Bitcointalk) on: April 19, 2019, 02:55:37 PM
However, the rate is quite good.

For me I think 140 post is a lot of work in a week. A Senior member for instance goes home with $88 in a week after spamming the hell out on the forum.

The pay isn't too much for the spamming because very few users can give 20 quality post in 6 days and the 7th day can be more of
spam.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xchange is the best altocoin exchange method! on: April 19, 2019, 02:15:15 PM
For once, I'm a bit confused. Are you talking about Xch4nge ? Or something else.

The link you have there seem like a referral link.

The Xch4nge site I know is this https://www.xch4nge.com
991  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: April 19, 2019, 12:22:18 PM
I do not blame losers in cryptocurrency especially in 2017 because we also had winners. The winners are those that "woke up" quick to hit the road. They invested before it was time for crash.

I can say that 2017 was a rush time and we had so many activities in crypto, icos with shit projects saw it as a business time.

992  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of stuff you can use bitcoin for. on: April 19, 2019, 09:44:52 AM
However, I don’t think so that using your bitcoins at this point is a very good idea and that you must wait for little longer so that bitcoin can have some good market value and then the usability of the bitcoin will also be increase.

I understand the point you have made , meaning that it should be kept for when it value increase but I tell you the value keep increasing and decreasing depending on the value you bought. And you can't have something to sell and shelter yourself and family, feed and clothes while you neglect to sell.

Except you have money to help your living, then you can hold very longer even when you have made additional profit.
993  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 18, 2019, 02:24:06 PM
Is it going to start with poor countries and their dictators?

Not really the area you have mentioned. Adoption is already going on in your area and mine too. We are both making use of cryptocurrency either in exchange for fiat or holding it as investment, that is adoption.

If you are talking of government making a statement on it, it is going to take legislation and that might not happen generally or not now.
994  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to open Singapore fiat-to-crypto exchange in April on: April 18, 2019, 01:45:55 PM
This is good for binance exchange. Binance has really shown that crypto and fiat can be used in convenient exchange for each other. This move will definitely have a positive impact on the coin and the holders too.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: April 18, 2019, 10:50:40 AM
I wonder reading so many users agreeing that they research before investing in ICO but I have also read in the scam accusation section on numerous scamming thread too.  Grin

Is it that the researches are not properly done or that the team his certain red alert information from researchers...
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: April 18, 2019, 09:58:46 AM
I think that it is possible to bet on that because we have seen some other bets with animals. Making an example, I have seen people betting on dog race.

There is also goats fighting and knocking their heads and horn. Back then while still young, I have seen such bet too.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Market state on: April 17, 2019, 01:53:07 PM
I think I like the current state of market, it is relatively stable. Prices also were stable from February this year but steadily increased till it had a blow out sometime in the early days of this month. People are expecting a bull since it got to this stage but it is yet to respond to that.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW to successfuly participate in an IEO? Initial exchange offering on: April 16, 2019, 10:31:15 AM
Maybe the exchange only accept accredited investors in their platform ?

There is possibility for this and the chances are that bots too or some software are installed to take out certain uninvested partners, they might not want people to benefit where they did not sow  Grin
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties on: April 15, 2019, 02:35:01 PM
You definitely cant provide for yourself with bounty earnings if you live in the 1st world countries, but its quite doable if you are coming from impoverished areas of the world where the average income per month is in tens of dollars.

It is not an issue of location, "impoverished" (using your idea), first world countries or not. It is the issue of availability of bounties and genuine bounties for that matter. Of course, reading the thread, many users have talked about ICO scam, being in a bounty that is scam is a set back because of your time, resource to hook up to the internet, emotional distress etc.

Therefore, a bounty hunter from the "impoverished "( as you said it) that is scammed after investing like 3/5 months time with a scamming ICO is left with anguish, pain and more financial bankruptcy. So, it is not about location.
1000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Only 10 platforms are credible on: April 15, 2019, 01:46:41 PM
The point is, the above 10 exchanges are relatively honest, and that's a good start. In an industry filled with shadiness and distrust, there will be big rewards for exchanges that remain ethical despite sacrificing a short-term edge to more sneaky exchanges. Reputation is everything. I for one am starting to avoid the smaller or less well-known exchanges like the plague.
Why do people bother dealing with the smaller exchanges in the first place despite all the controversies, scams and hacks associated with them? Everyone knows how risky it is to invest in such exchanges which is why it is better to deal with the reliable ones like Binance, Bittrex etc in terms of security, reliability etc.

I agree. I think people have been drawn to smaller exchanges in the past due to lack of options. For example, during a bounty distribution a token might be listed only at the smaller exchanges, forcing the bounty hunters to register to these exchanges to liquidate their bounties. These exchanges also offered tokens that the bigger exchanges were more reluctant to list. Now, as the market has matured, we have a better idea of who the winners and losers will be in the long run, and in large part the winners are listed on the big exchanges. So yes, it's best for investors to stick with large, reputable exchanges.

To further put a voice to why people would still choose smaller exchanges against established and bigger once, is nothing but the reason of fund.

An ICO sometimes genuinely has a target for a bigger exchange like binance for instance and they publish it in their white paper, some of the names they would subscribe to in terms of exchange but if adequate funds are not raised at the end, they opt for smaller and new exchanges.
