I think I'm gonna put my prediction early, most of the winning predictions now are posted early.
I guess I should have put my prediction earlier as well, as I missed last week. It's the 2nd time I missed the competition as I had other things to do at the last hour of the competition which I planned to join at. No more mistake again.
Congrats to the winner.

All 2020 US Presidential bets have been settled at BetBTC.

We appreciate your patience.   Wink

983  Economy / Reputation / Re: Would you consider wearing signature = shilling? on: December 15, 2020, 04:41:33 PM
In your case, you are not shilling roobet because this site has a good reputation IMO.
I would oppose this as owlcatz said above. Shilling doesn't necessarily stands for project which doesn't have good reputation. User Velkro is promoting a scam service but I can't remember if I have ever seen him he was suggesting his service anyone. I wouldn't call his signature shilling. What he is doing certainly unethical but that can't be called shilling IMO.

- Somebody advertising something (sig campaigns).
Therefore, you are shilling for bestchange, I wouldn't agree with that though.

Bump
Do you know more? Please recommend me here and I will update the OP with your recommendation. I guess it's right time to start using LN everywhere.
985  Local / Buyer/ Seller Reputations (India) / Melissa wants to send me $800000 on: December 13, 2020, 04:35:18 PM
I just have received a PM in my airtel number that there's a lady namely Melissa who wants to send me $800000 for the local charity. I guess all of you know the typical kinda scam attempt. But what I'm wondering that how come it’s a direct PM to my airtel number? Is it possible that the sender know me personally? May be someone I know trying to trick me to scam?
Be aware anyway, don't trust their words and contact them.

986  Economy / Reputation / Would you consider wearing signature = shilling? on: December 13, 2020, 04:03:24 PM
What's exactly shilling for a project refers to? I guess bringing the project name every now and then while you can write a post without mentioning the name of that project.
Would you consider wearing signature does also mean shilling for that project? Am I shilling for Roobet here? The other day examplens said me I'm shilling for Roobet (beacause I have used their paid signature) while I barely did direct recommend Roobet to others in this forum (did IRL though).
987  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your merit will find you! on: December 13, 2020, 03:39:14 PM
Min and max values are 1 and 61984. The max value belong to Wall Observer thread.
I didn’t mean that. I mean merit the OP (Opening Post) vs merit in replies. That would make sense why most newbie create threads. As thread/opening post receive more merits than normal replies, they tend to create more thread.
988  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your merit will find you! on: December 13, 2020, 02:13:53 PM
I can find one reason behind the creation of such threads. Although I don't have any data, it’s easy to speculate that the ratio of merit between post:thread is quite high. If the maximum number of merits in a thread is 100 (assume), it will be 20 for a post. That’s why newbies motivated to create new thread but; the problem is almost all the threads are unnecessary and surprisingly some of high rank member still post their.
There's nothing wrong with creating thread IMO but they should be enough informative, they should be on good discussion. Apart from that, I guess this board should be moderated heavily specially on creating threads.
989  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Education] Bitcoin Privacy and Anonymity on: December 12, 2020, 04:43:00 PM
France is now looking for regulation on crypto heavily & they are likely to force the crypto users to have mandatory KYC for any kind of crypto tx to track the users. This will be a challenge for the privacy seekers as BTC tx are transparent.

990  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★BetBTC★ Sportsbook | Bitcoin Sports Betting | Since 2014 | Instant Withdrawals on: December 12, 2020, 04:21:25 PM

How is the 0.055 BTC being distributed? Is there only one winner who can claim the entire prize? Predicting an accurate all goals in every league would be quite hard given that so many matches are going on in each league, it would be hard to pin point a single number I guess.
There may or may not be more than one winner. You don't have to predict scores for all the league differently. There are around 22/23 matches each sunday from the 5 major leagues. Predict score for all these matches and the closest one will be the winner. You don’t have to predict the exact scores.
991  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitrefill on mobile on: December 11, 2020, 06:13:23 PM
I used the site few hours ago to refill my paytm balance and I have had no issue in the web version from my phone. It's working fine here. There are more services like this and you can try them this time.
992  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★BetBTC★ Sportsbook | Bitcoin Sports Betting | Since 2014 | Instant Withdrawals on: December 11, 2020, 05:46:52 PM
is that for a competition or for different competitions together?
They both are two different competition as you can see the different thread for each of them. We used to have 3 competition each week by BetBTC but due to lack of interest, UFC has been canceled.

995  Economy / Services / Re: We are looking for Redditors with 100+ karma to create threads and comments on: December 11, 2020, 02:49:49 PM
You shill for Roobet with your signature
Excuse me, can you proof that I have shilled for Roobet anywhere? I can't remember if I had ever suggested roobet anyone. But I would do as I played on roobet and had a good experience. Wearing signature doesn’t necessarily mean shilling.
In this forum, I have shilled for chipmixer & blender.io (without pay) because I like their service and I trust their service.
996  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cheating In The Bounties on: December 10, 2020, 10:01:57 PM

My feedback is showing in "Untrusted Feedback" to others
Because you are not the list of Default Trust or DT. You must have a check at this- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5095156.0 once you get into DT1 or DT2 list, only then your feedback will be visible to others.
997  Economy / Services / Re: We are looking for Redditors with 100+ karma to create threads and comments on: December 10, 2020, 09:55:59 PM
Surprise that both of you are going to shill for a project @irfan_pak10 & @examplens. The message is clear in the OP that he is looking for shilling his project. Even if the project isn't a scam one, shilling for a shit isn't good at all. People will buy your reputation most likely.
998  Other / Meta / Re: [Newbie scrutiny instead of jail] Every new user's first post: loyce.club/patrol on: December 10, 2020, 09:46:48 PM
Just checked out and it's good one since it includes report option & merit. It can be useful for merit source as well for finding latest post and merit them.
But it would be pretty good if it created new tab when we click on report or merit option. Otherwise, whenever I'm clicking on report, I'm going to the report page and then to the board the post was. But if your site would create a new tab when click on a link, anyone can easily report.
999  Other / Meta / Re: Suggesting this: BrandNew account limits on: December 10, 2020, 04:31:17 PM
I would strongly oppose this proposal as it would give newbie less chance to explore/use the forum as they need. It's likely that forum will lose a lot of real users from the forum. Spammer will find a way or another to spam their shit but real users will go away once they find the forum is not welcoming the newbies.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHO CAN SHUTDOWN BITCOIN? on: December 10, 2020, 04:26:02 PM
No & that's why Bitcoin is still here. Otherwise, govt would shut it down long ago as it's going to be threatened towards the corrupted govt.

Actually in a normal sense bitcoin can only shutdown by Satoshi Nakamoto
If Satoshi Nakamoto could shut down bitcoin, we wouldn't call it decentralized. No one can neither shut down nor alter anything recorded in the bitcoin blockchain.
