981  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: May 28, 2015, 05:08:54 PM

Others don't share - why should we?
Actually Others do , so why shouldn't you ?
All of the major investment dice sites do share their cold storage address. Can you give us one example of which site doesn't ?

We don't have an investment section. It was removed for this very reason

How is that a good solution to the problem?? Removing the investment possibility doesnt show that you didnt lie about your bankroll, actually it makes you look even more suspicious, there is no reason not to show it, again saying something like: others dont do it, why should we? Why do you care about others? What do you lose by showing it? Nothing, it could be done fast and safe there is no point in further discussing this, your trust shows everything now.
982  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Every topic in this section is pure crap. on: May 21, 2015, 05:18:39 AM
Have you been on the HYIP section? It is much worse than this

He is talking about that section if you didnt notice, but not everyone here goes to ponzies and "invest" only a few people and hey if the want to, who are to stop them? Let them waste their money with that crap. Thats why there is a specific section for it, so all that crap goes there, it also says what the section is about if you read it carefully.
983  Economy / Gambling / Re: Thinking of starting a Bitcoin Casino. on: May 21, 2015, 05:15:29 AM
Your bankroll should be high, but that depends on what your bankroll is, if you have only 10 btc, you would have to make the max profit of your casino something around 0.1 to be safe, so it depends on your bankroll. If you want other tips, have a faucet for your site, do a few giveaways and people will come to your site
984  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How 999dice.com is stealing your coins, and exactly why you won't believe me on: May 20, 2015, 07:52:58 AM
Forgive me for not reading through the entire thread and I might have missed a discussion regarding this.  About that issue where clicking the button that reveals the hash and them possibly doing "whatever the fuck they want" with the hash before you click the button.  The hash generated and viewed after you click the button should automatically pertain to all previous rolls as long as you haven't changed the hash, should it not?  A verifier would prove the roll numbers match up.  I don't see where OP's logic is in that argument, unless he just isn't aware of how it actually works.  Full disclosure: I've never played at 99dice.

Of course the hash when you click the button is going to pertain to all previous rolls but if you dont click the button you dont see the hash, when you click it then the site can chose a hash that pertains to all previous rolls and you would think they are legit
985  Other / Meta / Make a warning every time you make a thread on lending section on: May 20, 2015, 07:34:09 AM
Ive seen way too many people posting on the lending section asking for a loan, obviously, without collateral and yes i know some of them are just scammers and know what they are doing but there are also newbies that dont know what collateral is and they just fill the section with useless threads. My idea is to give a warning when you click create new thread on the lending section that shows you a few links to the rules and whats a collateral, what do you guys think?
986  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are there any chess sites that allow people to bet with Bitcoin? on: May 20, 2015, 07:30:27 AM
Well it could be done in a way to avoid some bots, make all the games be 2 min long max, 1 minute per player, i dont think there are many bots that can calculate fast enough in 1 minute to beat a human, there could also be like other chess modes, like the horde mode where white has only pawns and black has normal pieces.

how to play, i do not Understan ? Grin

Dude..

First, you need to have an account in order to buy tickets and collect points.

Buy desired number of tickets. Your winning odds are equal to the number of your tickets divided by the total number of tickets sold.

Once the countdown goes to 0. Winning ticket numbers will be chosen by random.org API and winners will receive collected funds respectively.
989  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Raffle + Collect Free Points to win Bitcoin on: May 17, 2015, 06:33:30 AM
How is the game played? is it lottery that we need to guess correct numbers on the draw?

Its a raffle, you buy tickets wich all have the same chance of winning but you can buy more than one, pretty much the same as lottery but you dont have to pick any numbers, right now its not worth to buy more than 2 tickets tho
990  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1st MMORPG Bitcoin Gambling game from Oct 2010 || Dragon's Tale Casino on: May 17, 2015, 06:03:30 AM
Hmm yeah ive heard of it but it surprises me that there was no thread in the forum about it. The game looks nice and it doesnt require that much to run it, i dont know why people is complaining about that, im going to check it out soon to see how it goes
991  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Raffle + Collect Free Points to win Bitcoin on: May 17, 2015, 05:58:53 AM
So the first place only gets a 65% of the pot? And you have to pay 0.01? Right now you are winning 0.03 wich is not too much, probably because people here is not really interested in raffles or lottery
992  Economy / Gambling / Re: No House Edge? on: May 15, 2015, 09:41:04 AM
Lets say everyone uses martingale, dooglus explained that they would all break even theoretically. BUT if say the casino has a bet limit, that would fuck up all these martingale players because they expect to break even until they hit the limit, when they hit the limit they start loosing, am i right on this?

First off, most players won't break even. Some will win and some will lose. Each player's expected profit is zero, but their actual profit at any point in time is likely to be nonzero.

Casinos always have a bet limit. They have a finite bankroll. The point is that the amount you expect to win from all the times you don't hit the limit (whether it's your limit or the house's limit) is the same as the amount you expect to lose from all the times you do hit the limit. They cancel each other out.

Can you explain it with a graphic example like: 10 players go to a 0% house edge casino that has 1 btc limit bet, they start betting at 0.01 like the example above. When they bust theoretically they would have won just as much so they would break even right? Untill they hit a 8 losing streak when they wont be able to double again so they would lose more than win??

But that is not how provably fair games work right? Ive researched a bit and

''The server seed is unknown, but the hash is revealed. The client seed is something you set, after the server seed has already been generated.

999  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do we pay so much when the same function can be performed by a few Satoshis on: May 11, 2015, 03:21:09 PM
First of all, 1BTC is not 1 million satoshis. It's 100 million satoshis = 100,000,000

I think it's because Bitcoin always growing, so the price always getting raise. And it affected the satoshi, ie. if 1BTC = 3$ so 1BTC= 1,000,000 satoshis. But because the price of Bitcoin is growing up, so.. 1BTC= 300$ so 1BTC = 100,000,000 satoshis

And, if you want use more less number. You could use mBTC which is 0.001BTC or 3 cents

The digits never change, it doesnt matter what is the price of bitcoin, it will always be 100.000.000 satoshis If the price is high then 1 satoshi would be worth more its as simple as it gets

Wow, sorry for that wrong Embarrassed Cheesy So, when 1BTC is $1 and 1 satoshi still 100,000,000? So.. that's why the OP asking for?

Its like a dollar compared to euros for example. If 1€ equals 1.23$ even if the value of euros increase you would still represent dollars with 2 digits
