PumpGroupCoin => PumpMyCoin
They are very similar.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [*] 8BIT [Dark Masternodes][Anon][Roadmap Stage 4] on: December 23, 2016, 11:47:00 AM
Interesting, i just would like to ask if there is a way to speed up the block download rather then use the bootstrap. Maybe something can be done regarding masternodes ? Is it possible to have an overall check list of what had been done, and what is still to be done ?

To be honest I am not going to do with current code base and blockchain... blockchain is healthy and moving perfect but since it brought us so many problems we have to replace it. We should be doing it at the end of January-February.
However, after Christmas I will publish a fresh bootstrap file so just stay tuned.

Great Cheesy
So the whole project code will be changed ? doest it means that a swap will have to be done ? I am impatient to see this Cheesy

PHP will soon be deprecated, […]

MySQL is nearly deprecated, PHP will soon be deprecated?  What's next?  C?

Do you have any type of source for this or is it more a "feeling"?

And arguments on programming language like "it's best!" are odd.  There is always a problem and at least one programming language fitting to solve your problem.  It always just depends on your requirements, your goal, your problem you are going to solve, etc.

// alex

C is aleready deprecated, c c++ c#, all of these are deprecated, you shall have a look at js, this language is skyrocketing, easier to use, quicker to code, user friendly, environment friendly, plus with the new V8 engine, it is as fast as C, and some times, it is faster.

Are there any tests showing it's faster than C?

Do you know some programmers who are offering their services?
This test is about speed : https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/algorithmic-performance-comparison-c-javascript-java-malyshev
This test isn't about speed, but CPU usage : http://benchmarksgame.alioth.debian.org/u64q/compare.php?lang=node&lang2=gpp
Here for PHP : http://www.hostingadvice.com/blog/comparing-node-js-vs-php-performance/
and here to stay tuned : http://v8project.blogspot.com/
Soon, node will override all the languages, even now, JAVA doesn't stand agains him, the last one is C, but as you can see in the second link, the CPU usage is lower then C, it explains why the difference is so high because when C uses 80+% of CPU JS uses only 1%.
The next step is to make JS use the CPU and other hardware, and they aleready started.

I'm sorry to tell you that you cannot post graphics and banners if you are a newbie, you can hire some one to post in your behalf but you can not edit it yourself, you could end paying the guy for every change you'll going to do,much better to increase your level to member rank so you can post graphics and banners to your announcement.

Is it possible to post images as a jr. member? also will i be able to style text and links?

Yes, as a junior member you will be able to post images, links, images with embed links, a lot of features will be activated but it takes more then 2 weeks to be Jr, as you can only have 14 activity/2Weeks. Keep posting or connecting.

987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why now many emerging new coin? on: December 22, 2016, 04:33:50 PM

in one month can almost simultaneously launching two coin, what do you think with these symptoms?

Two coins in one month,I'm seeing one coin daily being launch, crypto currency right now is a very hot market to explore, those admin and devs are so attracted to huge profit that they incorporated their business to creating a new token or coin.

You should filter them by at least two kind of coins :
1- Shit coin
2- Non shit-coin

A shit coin is made to be dumped in the exchanges, usually they just copy/past a premade announcement and then leave the project, they use to release a pool, a block explorer, and some other useless details for their new coin, and then, if an exchange accepts to list them, they simply dump it to 1sat.
a Non shit-coin, is a coin made with a project, you can't be sure about if it is a scam or not, but at least it is not a shit coin as there is a project behinde, even if it is a fake one, it may be takenover by some devs.

so they make a new coin just to take advantage solely for their future memi9kirkan no longer want to be what it once ico ended coin, the only advantage of the investor, they are looking for
but I'm sure not going to like it emua coin there must be seriousness in launching a new coin

Let me tell why there is a lack in seriousness when it comes to a coin release, it is mainly because the "investors" want to get in and sell back at the highest price as soon as the coin is listed, it is because of the ICO bonus, it can be computed easily : buy at 1000 sat with 30% bonus, lets say you invest 100k sat, so you get 130 coins, ones it is listed you sell at 100k sat each, you get 16900000 sat, this is why there are so much scam.
988  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: STARTUP Looking for cryptocurrency and blockchain experts on: December 22, 2016, 04:13:35 PM
You should have a look in the forum's members, there a lot of blockchain experts here, mostly developpers. You may also check in the github repos of trusted coins like LTC or (...) and pick a Dev there, then he may accept or not to join you, but you can be sure that at least two or three of them will accept depending on what you can offer to them. You know, open source projects doesn't yield a lot for them, and most of them needs a fixed pay.
989  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: JavaScript/node.js.. on: December 22, 2016, 04:08:13 PM
Check out freecodecamp.com they will teach you almost everything you need to know.
Also you can find free stuff on udemy and reddit.

Your also going to have to learn some game theory for the odds and timings.
I would recommend php tho with nginx handles those numbers really quickly.

I do not think mathematics are an issue with NODEJS, with the opensource libraries from Facebook, Google and Microsoft, you can do almost everything with a few lines of codes thank's to theirs SDKs.

PHP is robust but it is a pain to debug and use with all the updates, dependencies and versions.

PHP will soon be deprecated, nodejs is far better with a better environment and it doesn't require a lamp to work. Plus javascript is the best one if you want to make "live" website as php is static, the main problem for js is that it can be decoded and de-uglified, however, this may be solved by node's workflow.

991  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: JavaScript/node.js.. on: December 22, 2016, 04:01:27 PM
Right, and if you need a database for a small project, use REDDIS DB, if you need advanced features like user auth, or large data management/storage, use MongoDB or MariaDB, Mysql is near deprecated i think because most of the devs advises to use maria or mongo.

if you need a db, check which one fits your need.  Mongo, Redis or Maria are great DB engines, but might not fit your needs.  Maybe your small project would work better a small SQLite3 DB.  Check your requirements before you stick to an engine as it's a pain in the ass to switch the DB engines later.
That's true, but as of maria mongo mysql, there is no problem as the structure is generally the same, even for the commands. Now if you start with reddis, it is a true pain in the ass because it is a complete different system, reddis is more like nidejs, it is in json format, that's why i think it is best suited for you, but you can also use sqlite and jsonencode the commands.

The thing is that leocoin always brings newbies to the forum, i wonder how much you cost to the forum for all this created data, what a waste of bytes, they would have been better used in other projects. They should charge you for this.

Three months but still no update or the site is working I got this message after login is this project is still in progress when is the exact date to launch the tool
Quote
Welcome to Pumpmycoin community
We are now one step closer building our community, because your vote does matter.
We will send you an email, as soon as our voting system is ready.
I had a look also, indeed they take their time.
OP does your project have something to do with icostart's PGC ? pumpgroupcoin ?
Do you plan to give some news in the next weeks or is the project closed ? As it is a pumpgroup, are funded enough to actually do it ?
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Satellite System on: December 22, 2016, 03:48:34 PM
We need to create a DSS token and fund a decentralized satellite system. That would be awesome.

Less scams, more innovation. We need to go balls deep and create some really crazy shit. It's almost 2020. Someone's talking about an ai built off of the blockchain technology. That is the kind of thing we really need. Innovation. Not more virtual money.

Who's with me?
I don't think you find anybody for this, the altcoins are not ready for such a big project, can you at least imagine how much i would cost to do it ? how many years of development ? and what would you do with a decentralised satelite system ? do you want to help boradcast useless TV programs everywhere in the world ? this would let people hack these channels, do you want to let people get connected to internet using these satelites ? or you are giving a new scam idea ?
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vote for best [Suspicious link removed]pany 2016 by cointelegraf! on: December 22, 2016, 03:43:46 PM
Nice bro...your Crypto games logo was seen by some more people...are all your 672 posts trolling?

Did you consider that you're not making progress because people here are smart and that when their read your trolling they would actually never visit your site?

Vote for your coin!
LEOcoin receive a lot votes already!😜

http://bitcoinprbuzz.com/[Suspicious link removed]pany-of-the-year-2016/?contest=contest-top10
Haha nice try there mate! This is not a voting competition, this is a voting competition with a rule to vote for only one specific coin.At least you put it that way!
I did open your blog and was not surprised to see LeoCoin on the top followed by other crap I did not understand.Wait, aren't you suppose to list other 8 shit coins?

Please, can a moderator ban this multiaccounter ? it is annoying to see so much new accounts for such a useless coin, you would rather go deffend a viable project, there are a lot more there, and they are not made by noob accounts. MaidSafe, WAVES, Lisk, Rise, ETH, LTC, XRP, it is up to you, there are so much  Roll Eyes

Yes newbies don't have the right to come here and talk about old subjects, defending altcoins, writing with such care, it is interesting to see how you defend a scam project, i am sure that this account is on of the leo's accounts.

>> Then someone should ban me here for speaking my mind? Please do...

Huh are you serious ??

>> Sure I am...up your game now...I'm here so you must bring your A game now...

Any noobish dev know how to change database infos, it is as simple as that, then you can check yobit or polo, they use to fake volume using bots by accepting half of request

>> Ok,please bring a volume of some alt coin to 100.000$...let's go bro...it's easy you say...prove it!

My achievement is to be able to succeed by myself, if you need someone to do it, then you are weak, if you are weak, then you will never achieve anything in your life, like you seems to be.

Again you haven't replied...what are your achievements? To be able to succeed is not an achievement by itself...you must do something first and then talk...
State some just in cryptocurrency world since that is the topic here...let's go bro...no more empty talk!

You made my day, it is funny to talk with you. You want to see my achievements, well, you will. You want to have proofs that the volumes can be easily faked ? go have a look around in the forum, or ask someone about polo and yobit, they will give all the how-to, maybe you will be able then to scam someone with a project related to this.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to launch an altcoin on: December 22, 2016, 03:36:08 PM
if you're thinking about a PRE ANN, please, do it when you have something to show us.
most PRE ANN i've seen these days is just something like:

"i'm developing a new coin, wait and see! bitcoin killer app"
and that's all..

I'll try to make the PREANN as informative as possible. Will include the system specs and working. Hopefully will be able to release the whitepaper along with it. If not I will update as soon as possible

Please let me be more "clear" :

The PREANN thread "must" have included these informations in order to be considered as valid :

- Description of the project with all the details.
- Description of the team members, it inculed social accounts, true identity is highly advised.
- Description of the coin's specs, usage, why use, why create this, how will it work.
- If you are going to launch an ICO then you must add :
   - Financial plan.
   - Identity of escrow.
   - Coin distribution.
   - Management of premine.
- Website.
- If possible, github link for the coin's source, or project's source if open sourced.
- Any usefull info about the team, the coin, the project.

Try also to answer to everyone's questions, don't ignore the scam accusators, try to prove your project to be legit, display an understandable roadmap.
With all of this, you may release a successfull preann who will drive some people to the main ann Smiley
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vote for best [Suspicious link removed]pany 2016 by cointelegraf! on: December 22, 2016, 03:22:31 PM
Newbie yes...so newbies have no right to say anything? Very interesting... well I'm here to stay bro so you better up your trolling game if you want to appear smart in the future...
Yes newbies don't have the right to come here and talk about old subjects, defending altcoins, writing with such care, it is interesting to see how you defend a scam project, i am sure that this account is on of the leo's accounts.

So let's see your mind games...
Huh are you serious ??

"you can't just comme in and talk about volume, it is the easiest thing to fake here, and doesn't mean it is an investment, it can be either faked by the dev, traders, whalers, bots, exchange owners .... it is not a true indicator."

Ok, please elaborate how it can be faked and also published on CCM? Please give a very detailed information with proof that it's actually being done...otherwise your word stands against a LOT of people that run these exchanges, CCM ,traders... up your game now...no more empty talking!
Any noobish dev know how to change database infos, it is as simple as that, then you can check yobit or polo, they use to fake volume using bots by accepting half of request

"Now, it is sure that regarding the merchandising around this coin there is something suspicious, and i would never pay 150£ for a seminar, nor X £ for a stupid book, because a guy i never heard about args that it will lead me to success. I don't need anyone to tell me how to succeed, i do it myself."

No one is forcing you to buy anything, writing books is not illegal at all...but calling someone else's work stupid without even reading it...now that's heavy and plain rude...have you written anything in your life except these primitive posts on forums? You don't need anyone to succeed? Ok great well someone may need someone...while at it where did your life go when you have so much time to write here? What are your achievements?
My achievement is to be able to succeed by myself, if you need someone to do it, then you are weak, if you are weak, then you will never achieve anything in your life, like you seems to be.

Newbie account ...
Spoetnik revealed also some fake accounts made by LEO and his friends, i really do believe that he is true because i had also the possibility to check these infos while i was reading the forum's posts, and i noticed how newbie accounts like to talk about LEO Cheesy and they all use strenge account names, LuckyLuke55 ... Nah, really men (or girl ??) you can't just comme in and talk about volume, it is the easiest thing to fake here, and doesn't mean it is an investment, it can be either faked by the dev, traders, whalers, bots, exchange owners .... it is not a true indicator.
Now, it is sure that regarding the merchandising around this coin there is something suspicious, and i would never pay 150£ for a seminar, nor X £ for a stupid book, because a guy i never heard about args that it will lead me to success. I don't need anyone to tell me how to succeed, i do it myself.

Hello, i tested the game but i specially noticed how slow it is, is there a way to solve this problem ? or is it bound to the server's capacities ? beside of that the game is really awesome, i like how it works, but can i ask you what kind of improvements do you plan to realise ? When do you think the servers will be updated ?
999  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: So You Want To Use Bitcoin On Your Website? on: December 22, 2016, 03:14:07 PM
Thanks!

Most people wouldn't really want to make how to's unless money is involved.

Yes, I do try to provide as much free information as possible to help others and support the ecosystem. Technically there is money involved though, I do get paid by youtube for letting them play ads. I also have a book for sale. But I do believe it's very important to have this information available for free. We need more of it. To anyone out there that might be a dev -- and I know there are a bunch of good ones in bitcoin -- feel free to post your stuff on this thread and I can add it to the main post. It would be nice to have a mega thread of community created bitcoin web dev guides. Doesn't have to be a video, it can be a blog post instead.

Could you show us how to use coinB for altcoins ? i would be interested to see if it can be used in nodeJS, CoinB is a great project, i was completly out when i saw the transactions confirmation, i thought it was impossible to do it from a different environment then java or c, you do a great job really.
1000  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: JavaScript/node.js.. on: December 22, 2016, 03:10:02 PM
You can do everything with JS.

Buysomebitcoins.com is written at 100 % on NodeJS (Server / Client side)

So,we can development any application with JS. what example application we can build other than dice and casinos etc..

but I wonder how can use database with JS? I know that we must use PHP to recorder users data and other data as well!

A Database has nothing to do with nodeJS.

I use MongoDB for buysomebitcoins.com - but all databases engines works with any language.

Databases are independents.

Right, and if you need a database for a small project, use REDDIS DB, if you need advanced features like user auth, or large data management/storage, use MongoDB or MariaDB, Mysql is near deprecated i think because most of the devs advises to use maria or mongo.
Regarding what can be done with JS or NODE, well, you can do everything, just take the time to think about you want to realise your idea, do some deep fetching in NPM, and you will be able to realise everything you can imagine Cheesy
