This week Inter is playing Verona, Juventus is playing Salernitana, Milan is playing Empoli and Napoli is playing Torino. Only risky one I feel is the Napoli game, Torino is not far away from them and Napoli hasn't had much luck all year, so if they lose then my bet would not be okay.

However, I believe the rest will win, Inter is playing quite well and they are good enough to get a win without a doubt, and I also believe that Milan will not have any trouble at all, Empoli is doing terrible, Juventus is great too, they are trying to win the title so a win is must. Like I said, it is all about Napoli on this parlay, if I can make it work and Napoli wins then I am guessing that there will not be any issues at all for the rest.
Napoli playing against Torino does seem to carry a degree of risk, considering the close gap on table of the league. But this game is a test for Mazzari on how his team react to his tactics and play the game with determination to win. Napoli need the win for not only the points but also to boost up the team's mentality which is not at the best shape lately.

The other matches aligns with the form and performances of Inter, Juventus, and Milan, which will be surprises if any of them lost. While betting always involves an element of uncertainty, making rational analysis is a normal choice to make. any loss for the big teams will invite more pressure on their maintainance to keep fighting for a better position.

In the game against Las Palmas yesterday, Barcelona performed admirably. Even though the way the game started made me think Las Palmas would win, they played a really strong game and didn't let Barcelona level; instead, they made a mistake in the second half. The game was really hard, and I had expected more from Las Palmas, but they were unable to maintain their consistency, which subsequently allowed Barcelona the opportunity to win the match in the second half of the competition.
Watching the game Las Palmas vs Barcelona gives impression that any team in La Liga can give a tough fight against Barca. It doesnt really seem how Barca used to be so scary. Barca seemed lucky to able to capitalize on their mistake in the second half, but they demonstrates the importance of staying focused and taking advantage of opportunities in a match.

Maintaining a high level of performance throughout the entire game for Las Palmas can be challenging. Barcelona's ability to navigate a challenging match and secure a win is something to show that they still have the competitiveness and adaptability on the field. But It's unsustainable to concede first in the game which they are expected to win comfortably.

Jeremie Frimpong is an important part of the Leverkusen squad for their progress this season. Of course, Leverkusen move to keep him is a good choice. Jeremie Frimpong has so far played 16 matches and recorded 5 goals, of course this has proven quite good quality as a defender. Xabi Alonso has seen the great potential that Jeremie Frimpong has so he will try hard to keep him in the next summer transfer window. So far, with Leverkusen good performance in the Bundesliga, several Leverkusen players have become targets for elite European teams.

Even Arsenal are reportedly interested in getting Boniface in the January transfer window. Of course Leverkusen Management in this transfer window has received many big offers from elite European teams for their players and I hope they can stabilize the opportunities that exist, meaning they have to think long and hard in the decisions they take. Leverkusen are building up their strength this season so it would be very bad if one of their key players left for another club in the January transfer window.
Jeremie Frimpong has been a standout performer for Bayer Leverkusen that contributes significantly with both defensive capabilities and an impressive goal tally for a wing-back. It's understandable that European teams signifies the high regard to him. Maybe it will be hard for Leverkusen to keep him next season if they dont secure his contract extension soon remembering many elite teams in the need of a good wing-back.

The decision-making process for Leverkusen's management during the transfer window becomes crucial. While the financial incentives from big offers can be tempting, it's equally important for Leverkusen to consider the impact on team dynamics and their overall goals for the season. Losing a key player, particularly in the January transfer window, could potentially disrupt the team's momentum. Leverkusen will likely aim to strike a balance between maximizing potential transfer revenue and maintaining a competitive team for the ongoing season. It's an intricate decision-making process that requires strategic thinking and consideration of both immediate and future team needs.

Chelsea will need some strategic changes which may include some of their players Ben sold out and possibly a Change of coach because they seem to have their issues ranging from their tactics, players down to the coach and it's not looking like they are getting any better except theyfix these issues with their coach and a few players.

For this season I doubt if they will be able to finish top four in the premier league or even secure a trophy by the end of the season because they don't look like they have the form and the ability to do such, they have really unstable performance this season, at some point we would think they are already getting better and at the other they turn out even worse especially when facing smaller teams but with big team they try to put up a fight and probably show their prowess nevertheless they haven't done enough to earn them much this season, they need to really improve.
I don't think the sales of players and changing the manager will solve their problems, It will even adds more problems. Rather than an immediate need for a change in coaching staff, Chelsea might benefit from tactical adjustments and a more adaptive approach. A thoughtful analysis of their current strategies and potential modifications could be a more nuanced solution.

Selling players can be a drastic measure, and it's crucial to evaluate whether the team's struggles stem from individual performance or if players need time to adapt and develop. Chelsea's ability to compete with larger teams suggests they have the talent but may need to address issues related to motivation or approach when facing supposedly weaker opponents. Making drastic changes mid-season is always not the best approach. A more measured and strategic evaluation, possibly in collaboration with the current coaching staff, can help identify areas for improvement and set a roadmap for the future.

Currently, PSG actually does not have any problems or very serious arrivals, especially in bringing in the players they are targeting because they do have money and there are no problems with their finances. but the problem is that sometimes PSG faces conditions that are quite difficult to overcome when they play in the UCL. There have been many opportunities for PSG to really strengthen this. It should have been measured, not just differences, because after all, in the French League, no one could compete with PSG's dominance. Now, the conditions are very different when PSG are in the UCL, especially now that they have entered zone 16, which incidentally would usually be an even tougher match.
The contrast in competition levels between Ligue 1 and the UCL knockout stages is indeed notable. Navigating through the UCL knockout rounds is a different ball game, and even with considerable resources, PSG encounters difficulties. Perhaps the team needs to strategize and adapt to the more intense and competitive environment of European football.

Success in the UCL often requires a blend of individual brilliance, tactical astuteness, and team cohesion. Addressing the hurdles in the UCL challenges and fine-tuning their game plan for tougher opponents in the knockout stages could be key for PSG to make a deeper impact in the competition.

Talking about Real Madrid been in form, I would agree but Liverpool, not so much. Though they might be at the top of the EPL, their performance is below anything I would like to call a team in form. They aren’t particularly bad I can give them that and they’ve got the top of the table go show for it but, they are not consistent.
Am in form team needs to be consistent, winning games, getting points out of tough fixtures but, I was amazed Liverpool couldn’t manage it and beat Manchester United, didn’t even share points with them. Even though they had the upper hand all game.
Liverpool being conceded first in most games and lacking cleansheet make people think that they are not good in performances. maybe it's true, but they are not worse than any other team for sure. That's all it needs to win competition, just being being a bit better than any other team without the need to play beautiful football. Basic rule for being the best is collecting the most points, perhaps Liverpool is doing this.

Consistency is indeed a key factor in maintaining a team's form, and it goes indeed beyond just securing victories against weaker opponents. Winning tough fixtures, especially against direct competitors, is a significant indicator of a team's strength and form. But indicator remains indicator, not an undisputed proof to say things. Being only lost one game with most points collected is an undisputed proof of a team being consistent enough to be a serious contender.

If not Ivan Tooney, Arteta should have another good option. Arsenal are desperately in need of that spearhead and if they intend to win trophies this season, a striker has to be brought in. Arteta and Edu have been able to make good signings to the club so far, they should be able to select one or two more players to fill in. Any choice they make concerning a player, it has to be a player who will not take time to settle into the team, because he needs to start scoring for Arsenal as soon as he starts playing.
It's no secret anymore that Arsenal really need a reliable striker if they want to succeed this season. It seems a mistake that Arteta relying on Jesus and Nketiah for that position. I dont think Ivan Toney is a good option, because of his attitude is not Arteta's type of player, eventhough he is a very good striker. Arteta and Edu need to explore various alternatives to ensure they make the right choice for the team's needs.

Arsenal has indeed made some promising signings under Arteta and Edu's management that showcases their ability to identify and bring in talent. But the team's aspirations for trophies this season urge to a striker who can make an immediate impact which is not an easy problem. Finding a player who can seamlessly integrate into the team and start scoring right away is a challenging task. The decision-making process will likely involve a careful assessment of both the player's skill set and how well they can adapt to Arsenal's style of play.

He definitely had the right considerations and his decision answered all the rumors about Xabi Alonso who would be his replacement at Real Madrid.
Being a coach for a club that he is used to coaching will certainly be more comfortable, especially since there is nothing bad happening at Real Madrid that makes Ancelotti have to work harder, and this season Real Madrid has the opportunity to win at least two titles if they continue to perform well. especially if they can get a sharp, pure striker.
For half of the season they have been on fire, despite not having a full complete of players. This was due to several players being injured from the start. But with their injury problems increasing I'm not sure they'll be able to compete. This is if they don't take advantage of the transfer market this season. At least from January 2, Ancelotti will have to buy new players. CB position, central midfielder, striker, Ancelotti must add at least 1 player in all those positions.
This is the acumen of Carlo Ancelotti who guides Real Madrid so well with some unfavorable circumtances. However, It's unsustainable to keep run in this situation without solutions. The growing injury concerns could potentially impact their ability to compete at the highest level in the coming months.

The upcoming transfer window in January is an opportunity for Ancelotti and the management to address these concerns and strengthen the squad. Reinforcing the defensive line should be the priority, while Midfield is covered enough by quality players eventhough injury comes after another. The striker position has been an issue for a while, not solely because of injuries. I think Real Madrid is scouting the perfect fit player for striker position.

Dortmund can't win a single game for like four weeks in the Bundesliga. This is really a terrible form for them.  Sad  This bad form caused them to fall behind the fourth team in the standings quite much as well. Dortmund need to do something about this immediately. Terzic will surely be expected to finish the season in top four otherwise he could lose his job.

There are some speculations such as Nuri Sahin could take his place by next season. He has become assistant coach now as far as I know. It wouldn't be too difficult for him to take Terzic's place in that case.
Dortmund is really experiencing what Liverpool experienced last season. The mental fatigue really hook them badly because of how they failed to win the league in the last game last season. Such a downturn in form can have significant implications, especially when it leads to a considerable gap between them and the teams higher up in the standings.

The pressure on the coach, Edin Terzic, to secure a top-four finish is understandable, given the expectations associated with a club of Dortmund's stature. Management often evaluates the team's performance in relation to their objectives, and falling short could lead to tough decisions. But I dont think replacing the caoch is a good idea, because this situation is not solely about the tactics. Changing the managerial leadership could even worsen the situation because this is the problem as a whole, not individual. I dont think Sahin is ready to manage a big club that is in a bad situation.

If you follow the Premier League games you understand in this league that's pretty much normal to see a team bring in the first place in the league even until the last weeks of the season but in the end, the other team wins the league and that does not surprising in the premier league because there is a hard race between all the teams.
I think even after the good performance we saw from Arsenal in the first week of the season and the weak performance we saw from this team in the last games, it doesn't still mean to say they are the only team got more chance for the title and I think still teams like Manchester City can have chance to take their place.
Premier League do have the intense competition among top teams that often leads to shifts in the league standings throughout the season. and the points different is so close betwen the top and even the fifth. This why teams shouldnt be judged not strong enoung when they are experiencing a bad form, because every team at top five has already experienced it, like Tottenham, for example, who led the standings for a while before they fell off to fifth straight away.

The dynamic nature of the league means that even after a team's strong performance in the early stages, the title race can remain wide open. I think Manchester City still remains the most favorite because of their capability to turn around performance in the second half of the season. They are known for their consistency and ability to perform under pressure.

We can still have some predictions considering how the general trend of Europa League had been and how the performance of each individual team are in local and international perspective.
Villarreal and Liverpool are surely the favorite ones. It's a rare occasion for Europa cup going anywhere except Premier league or La Liga teams.
But Leverkusen is a rare success this time. Not just due to their success in the group stage but also how they are performing this season in the bundesliga. They are certainly going to be promoted to the UEFA cup this year.
Villareal, this is the first time I hear someone mentioning Villareal as the main favorite next to Liverpool. Really, I appreciate that you have an opinion nobody else has had so far. I don't think Villareal is a favorite, but I would also not describe them as a weak team or an underdog. They are more like average similar to many of the other teams.

Leverkusen has gathered some experience in the last season in the Europa League and I think this time it could really be their turn to go one step further and reach the final hopefully.
Villareal can be an underdog like how they reached UCL semi-final under Unai emery seasons ago. But they have new manager now and are not in a good shape of football. I dont know much about how they play, but the statistics are not in their favor. But, in Europa League history, Spanish clubs tend to do well, because they put always UEL as their priority.

Leverkusen is the real favorite alongside Liverpool due to their performance in their league and group stage. But their priority is also intriguing, because they are fighting for the league title under the pressure of bayern which is not easy to handle both competition in the same manner. Experience can often play a crucial role in a team's performance, and Xabi Alonso is new to this situation where he has to compete with already experienced teams and managers. I would put Roma as the most serious contender because of Mourinho.

From the pre season fixtures, you can tell that already and Manchester United didn't have a good pre season. Right from the beginning Onana flopped even though he is a world class goalkeeper.
The games played in the Premier League also was another easy way fir one to see that Manchester United would be exited as early asf from the Champions League.
The Injury and absent players also affected the club and didn't help implement most of the managers tactics at most from the back of the  pitch.

They can go try harder to make sure they sure that they qualify for the Champions League and come back up the next season.
I think Ten Hag, in pre-season, was too focus on tactics and fitness. He didnt care too much about squad consolidation. This just creates the team that consist of a bunch of profesionals who have high earnings. No spirit to play for the badge nor pride for the team. everything is just about tactics and game plans.

The disappointment with Onana's performance, coupled with the challenges in the Premier League games, could indeed signal difficulties for their Champions League prospects. It's weird to see a UCL finalist Goalkeeper plays like an average goalkeeper. This means the problem is not the ability of the players. This situation puts them in no hope to qualify for Champions League next season, and that makes them harder to persue good players to come for improving Manchester United.
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The is always on gambling, never the individual. on: January 04, 2024, 09:55:02 PM

Why do people blame gamble for their own act of irresponsibility. No one is talking about their own part in their story of bad experience's with gambling, all we get to hear is gambling is bad and a useless activity. Why?
That is very common and human nature, only a few people blame themselves compared to blaming others.
All things that happen to us are the result of our doings and decisions, and if lose our money as we are gambling, it is because we do it in the wrong way. In fact, nobody urges us to gamble but it is our willingness and desire that pushes us to spend money. Whether we lose or not, it is our decision, nobody is involved.

Blaming always happens when we lose but if we win, never even say thank you. Grin
Those are people who doesnt have the habitude of acceptance. It's an important step towards accountability to accept our decisions and choices play a significant role in the outcomes we experienced. Blaming others can be a more instinctive response than introspection that shows immaturity and unreadiness to enjoy risky activities like gambling.

Applying the habit of acceptance into our lives allows for a more constructive approach to out decisions and activities, espcially gambling. Experience of earning money should be a lesson that losing money is also the cause of our decisions and activities. ⁤We can consciously choose to redirect that energy towards self-reflection and personal development by understanding that blaming others can be an instinctive response. ⁤

I'd agree, because he creates and also scores for his teammates and for himself, the perfect man for any big club, I guess the only reason why Real Madrid didn't make strong chase was because of his age. Some would want to compare him with Erling Haaland, but Erling Haaland doesn't create for himself at times. Harry Kane at times reminds me of Luis Suarez for Liverpool same season he scored 31  goals competing with Cristiano Ronaldo for the Golden Ball.

At Spurs Harry Kane scored 20+ goals for six seasons, that's a great feat for him to reach honestly. He'll score more goals. I hope they win lol, not really, I want Bayern Leverkusen to win with Xabi Alonso. At least to make the league challenging.
It's a shame that he has to move to win silverware, because Tottenham is not ambitous enough nor the best environment to win trophies. The love for Tottenham makes him choose bayern which is not a big challenge in his football journey. I'm sure he waited the offer from Madrid, but they have tranfer policy not signing a player who is at the end of his peak.

Harry Kane is a complete Central Forward which is so rare in current time that makes him a valuable asset for any top club. The Comparison of Kane to Erling Haaland has indeed a big gap at all-around capability. Kane is in a level of Suarez and Benzema at their peak. Everyone expects him to score 50+ goals this season, and it's not a difficult task for him playing in Bundesliga for Bayern. But the presence of Harry Kane playing for Bayern is not a good vibe in football aspect, because Bayern will likely continue to dominate. Cheesy

Several key players in Barcelona's squad will miss out  due to injuries. Barcelona's main goalkeeper ter Stegan will be absent. This is a big loss for Barcelona. Also, Barcelona are missing two important midfielders like Gavi and Pedri in this match. But there are two experienced players in the midfield like de Jong and Gundogan. If Gundogan, De Jong and Lewandowski play well, it will not be difficult for Barcelona to beat Las Palmas. I will definitely expect Barcelona to win this match. Barcelona  has not played well in the last few matches. If Barcelona's performance is weak in this match too, Barcelona will be out of the title fight.
Losing key figures in crucial positions is a significant blow, and their absence could be felt in their matches. The presence of De Jong and Gundogan help the team in this situation. They can add stability and leadership to the team. If these players perform well and showcase their experience, they can compensate for the absence of Gavi and Pedri that ensures a strong midfield presence.

Lewandowski is too old to work alone in the front line. He needs mush help from the wingers. Barca can't just rely on De Jong and Gundongan, because it would be not enough as they not only need to deliver supplies for the attacks, but also need to cover the defense which is also not in a great shape. While Barcelona may have struggled in recent matches, the expectation of a victory in this game hinges on the assumption that the experienced players step up and deliver a commendable performance. The stakes are high, as a weak performance could potentially hinder Barcelona's chances in the title race.

The reports of Kylian Mbappe's potential departure from Parc des Princes heightens on daily basis and that's why I think it'll be difficult to keep the France international at Paris Saint Germaine beyond the summer. The club I believe is scouting for young talents that'll replace Kylian Mbappe when he eventually leaves the club in the summer. But for a player of Mbappe's quality and importance, it'll be very difficult to find a perfect replacement.

The club's manager Luis Enrique is one of the most experienced managers in France at the moment and I'm optimistic he'll still be able to manage Paris Saint Germaine well should their current best player Kylian Mbappe eventually leaves in the summer.
It is indeed challenging to keep a player of Mbappe's caliber, especially if he has big ambition to write his name in football history. I dont think there is the same quality replacement for him, and I think PSG won't scout for young talents, but they will find an establish good player to replace him, That's what PSG do. Kylian Mbappe is not only a world-class talent but also a key figure in PSG's success.

His departure would undoubtedly leave a significant void in terms of attacking prowess, creativity, and goal-scoring ability. Even if the club identifies promising young talents, the pressure to match Mbappe's impact would be immense. PSG's ability to manage the departure of Mbappe is rooted in the experience and managerial prowess of Luis Enrique. As one of the most experienced managers in France, Enrique has a track record of success and adaptability. His strategic approach to team management and tactical flexibility could potentially mitigate the impact of losing a star player like Mbappe. Luis Enrique's managerial acumen offers a hope for PSG fans. The ability to build and mold a team, even in the absence of a superstar, is a testament to Enrique's coaching abilities.

In the Coppa Italia, sometimes the results of matches between weak teams vs strong teams are very difficult to predict. Because some strong teams sometimes don't play optimally and experience defeat. As happened with Napoli and Inter Milan who lost to Frosinone and Bologna.

Rome seems different. Because it seems serious about winning the Coppa Italia title this season. Although I didn't expect AS Roma to have to go to such great lengths to win this match. Cremonese led the match well from the start. And Rome tried to chase him and succeeded.

Today Juventus will face Salernitana. And for this one, I think it is clear that Juventus will not give up and will try to win this match. Because Juventus has no other schedule apart from the domestic league. So Juventus' focus is definitely on winning the Coppa Italia.
Setting priority is importance when a club has 3 competitions to play in, especially a club who who lack of squad depth. Napoli and Inter Milan losing to Frosinone and Bologna, respectively, demonstrate that The Coppa Italia is the last in their priority list, because they have Champions league games and Serie A as the main focus. This is why the unpredictability is part of what makes the Coppa Italia captivating for fans.

Roma's serious approach to winning the Coppa Italia this season, despite facing challenges against Cremonese, reflects the competitive nature of the tournament. The fact that Roma had to work hard to overcome Cremonese's lead demonstrates the level of competition in the Coppa Italia and reinforces the idea that teams cannot take anything for granted. Juventus facing Salernitana will go on full strength striving to win, because they aim the Coppa Italia as securing silverware for the season. This concentrated focus may result in a determined and committed performance from Juventus. It's not a good news for Salernitana for sure.

We have to admit that this has been a very bad year for Manchester United. Ten Hag is not a coach who can take full responsibility for Manchester United. I think it needs to be replaced soon. The Premier League is a tough league and not every coach can adapt to this league. I think his dialogue with the players is bad.
Erik Ten Hag needs to adapt himself to Premier League before he manage the adaptation for his players. Adapting to the unique challenges of the Premier League demands a certain level of tactical flexibility and an understanding of its competitive nature. It seems that Ten Hag is just a pure profesional which is not enough to handle a big club in Premier League. He needs to learn from Ange Postecoglou who applies psychological aspect in his team management like fostering togetherness in the squad and creating a stronger bond with their fans. Ange changes Spurs straight away massively and improves individuals and the team significantly. Most of Spurs players have been there for while, but they look like very different players under Ange.

Some managers may require a transitional period to implement their tactics and get players accustomed to their style of play. But If Ten Hag can draw lessons from Ange's managerial approaches, it could enhance his effectiveness in leading a big club like Manchester United. In fact, He has more resources than Ange has, It should be less difficult to apply any plan he has. Discussion to replace Ten Hag could be a waste without discussion to change environment in Manchester United.

Liverpool yes already secured qualification from the group lest the need for squad rotation which resulted in the loss they had in the group. They’re having a serious challenge domestically for their league and that’s one reason the coach tried the rotation. Well though they still finished top and yes they must be compared as strong contenders for the UEL though we must not take the radar off Leverkusen who are a very young squad with high winning rate; Mourinho’s Roma, as we all know how deep Mourinho is with European titles and the History of Milan and European titles.

These 4 clubs shouldn’t be overlooked as they could cause problems for Liverpool in this competition. Galatasaray and Sporting might not prove much a threat but are still on the radar. But I believe Liverpool has a vast experience and have a better squad than Milan who have the experience and Leverkusen who have the squad but lacks full experience.
It's been a common that Liverpool is a strong contender for the UEFA Europa League with their success in the group stage and their historical prowess in European competitions. But they face strong challenge posed by Leverkusen, Milan and Roma, because all this 3 clubs make Europa League as their priority which could be different from Liverpool.

Bayer Leverkusen have young and high-winning-rate squad. Roma have Mourinho with his European titles pedigree. Milan have historical strength in European competitions. These facts demonstrate a thorough understanding of the potential challenges Liverpool may face, and make them noteworthy competitors. Experience can be a crucial factor in navigating the different stages of the Europa League, especially when facing tough opponents in later rounds.

I am also thinking about it as a rumor because Arsenal is trying to avoid financial fair play which means they will have to sell players before they can afford Mbappe and Arsenal did not have any important player for sell that can attract enough money for signing Mbappe this transfer window. Arsenal did not even have Mbappe in their plan because they know that they cannot afford paying huge amounts of money they are supposed to use in signing tow or more players for just Mbappe.
Liverpool and Manchester City will be the best two teams that can afford him in their team right now because he will not play for Chelsea or Manchester United because of their current situation.
The rumour could come from the agent to increase the bargaining of client. The biggest interest so far to sign Mbappe comes from Real Madrid who is willing to pay his wage, but if no other club shows interest of signing him, the wage could be lower than expected. I don't believe Arsenal would be a destination for a player as ambitous as Mbappe, and Arsenal themself know this.

Moreover, the financial dynamics of football often require strategic player sales to fund major acquisitions. Arsenal not having key players to sell for a significant amount in this transfer window aligns with the challenges clubs face in acquiring top-tier talents. Identifying Liverpool and Manchester City as the best-suited teams technically and financially makes sense.
