981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO with best Team? on: February 26, 2018, 01:55:44 PM
Which ICO got the best team which is efficient and professional with its investors?

I believe all team is the best, they will create powerful system and also built a friendly communication with customers. Most of us will answer depend their profit because take part of ICO program and ICO manager, that's wrong. We can see from another perspective, such as fix customers problems, always giving notice about news up date project, etc. Team only support the program and the best is relative.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much can you make from bount campaigns? on: February 23, 2018, 09:33:50 AM
What's a ballpark figure you can earn from all these bounties that get posted?

I have a high number of followers online and recently started making crypto videos, I'm looking to do a weekly showcase of promising ICO's and a full promotion over all my social media.

Will I be able to earn a decent amount from bounties? Shall I contact ICO's and ask if we can do a deal instead of bounties? I just don't wanna put a load of effort into promoting ICO's if it's for such a small amount.

Thank you :-)

I get " enough ", at least for me. For people like me with out primary job, follow bounty program is the best option I got. If you have high number follower and another high skill, I think you should contact ICO team and maybe you'll get some job from them, good for payment. High target need high skill, device and time but be brave and start to make plan come true. Good luck to you.
983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Addiction? on: February 23, 2018, 08:54:27 AM
Do you ever feel like you're overly obsessed with cryptocurrencies or trading/investing in general?
Personally, I'm fairly satisfied with my investments/decisions so far but yet I'm looking for market opportunities most of the time. I think that's mainly because of the fact that majority of my time browsing the internet I watch related content. I'm passionate quite passionate about it.

Over time it kinda makes me feel depressed that I don't make as much as I possibly could or others have better scores (some unhealthy jealousy I guess?), so this "paper-chasing" has become a target itself.

When I want to take a break from all this stuff for let's say a month or week at least then I'm not able to because I'm afraid that I will miss out on something.
On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.

Can anyone relate?

That's true and really like me. Believe or not, at the beginning 2017 when I know about bitcoin I spend almost 10 hours a day to make money from trading bitcoin. When I got income, I spend more time and never let my device away from my side. For now, I decides to change everything about me when face bitcoin and maybe change trading become investment. I feel better when see bitcoin market and as long I get income it's worth to be done.
984  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the best Long-term Hold? on: February 23, 2018, 07:38:25 AM
I have been in the market for awhile, and always hear the same mantra about trading to hold more Bitcoin and not Fiat.  I bought into the same mentality for a long time, but I'm changing my tune.  In almost every industry, first generation leaders are replaced by competition.  From Sears, Kmart, Nokia, Motorola, Yahoo, MySpace, etc.  Although Bitcoin is the current crypto reserve currency, I think that its dominance is threatened by ALT coins with faster, cheaper transactions and greater scalability.  What do you think?  Is it smart to hold Bitcoin as a long-term investment, or are there better choices among the ALT coins like Ethereum or Litecoin?

Hold bitcoin as long term investment is smart but we all know long term is only for people with high patience and big money, do you have it? As alternative, you can choose LTC with medium term investment or ETH for short term investment/ trading. I believe you can choose any coin depend your skill and fund but for long term investment, bitcoin is the right answer.
985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: February 23, 2018, 05:25:15 AM
I need some help.

I already have experience trading FOREX but until now im not that profitable. The market of forex is very UNPREDICTABLE. technical and fundamental analysis are not really working. Market makers and bank institutions are controlling the market. its centralized and big banks can manipulate the exchange.

Im planning to leave FOREX and switch to CRYTPO trading. Does anyone know who controls the bitcoin price? is it still the government or the whales trader?

No one control bitcoin price because who can do that? Government doesn't have any rules to control bitcoin, accept yes manipulation no. Whales need big money to control, even they are billionaire the money will not enough. Big whales only people with speculation, most of them replace their money follow news. No news no profit for them. Nothing to worry who control bitcoin price, just start your bitcoin trading and good luck with you.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check bounty legit or scam?? on: February 21, 2018, 07:57:26 AM
how to check the bonty program is legit or sexcem. sometimes there are bounty programs that do not include the spreadsheet

There's no way to check bounty program is legit or scam, you can try in many ways but I believe will never find the right answer. Most of us see from the ICO basic program ( white paper, road map, coin price, etc ) and some of them just follow with out worry about the result. The way I mention is only how to predict and can be wrong. Take one program, follow until the end and learn form it. Experience is a good guide.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Token from Airdrops got value someday? on: February 21, 2018, 04:35:25 AM
I received a lot of tokens from Airdrops, but they haven't any value yet. When will be this tokens got value? in USD I mean?

Tokens from airdrop have value but after list on exchange, before that it's just like garbage. Payment from airdrop not big like another program ( bounty campaign ) even they got list on exchange, it will with small value. Keep patience to wait or you can replace your skill/ asset into another program. Good luck with you.
988  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bots - are they worth buying? on: February 21, 2018, 03:25:45 AM
I've been looking at trading bots and debating whether to invest in one. What would be the minimum amount I should start off trading to make it worthwhile, as they all seem to cost at least a few hundred dollars? Does anyone use any that they would recommend? Or would it be better to get involved with a trading pool or a signals channel? Appreciate any advice anyone might have.

No and please don't buy any bot for trade even they give you a good result explanation about they progress. You should now bot will not increase your skill and profit, for the first time is yes but after that loss will be your ( personal experience ). I have bad experience with bot and many people will say they same. Don't make same mistake like me, just keep learning and test your strategy by your self. Stay away from bot.
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can go wrong! on: February 21, 2018, 02:27:07 AM
If we learn from our mistakes, what words of caution would you like to share.

Trust no one and do it by your self. As long I have been trader/ investor my mistake just one, always follow sign from another person and never ask how they get the result like that. Never believe my skill and using bot for make money. At least I loss almost 40% from my money and still don't get it how it happen. My experience is my best teacher, now just do by my self even loss become my friend.
990  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help - Bittrex keeps telling me I'm using a new IP when I'm not. on: February 21, 2018, 12:01:53 AM
Title pretty much says it all, very frequently when logging in to Bittrex I'm told I'm using a new IP and to verify via email (this isn't a problem, just a hassle). The thing is that I'm using the same IP as earlier.

Anyone encountered this before and know what causes it/how to solve it?

There's no problem with that, it's just verify via email. Open your email click the link and you can make transactions as usual. As long after verify you can still send - received payment with successful process it's nothing bro. It's just part of the rules to protect your account and their system from hacked. Keep going and good luck with you.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💰💰 Mark Zuckerberg says Facebook will look into cryptocurrency on: February 20, 2018, 03:51:19 PM
🌐 Mark Zuckerberg - The CEO of the largest social network, Facebook, has recently posted on her personal account that he was officially considering to integrate cryptocurrency to his platform.

Facebook can generate its own cryptocurrency easily and integrate it with the current social network platform, just similarly to Steemit. However, the company can either cooperate with some available coins depending on the business goals. With this option, they can skip costly and time-consuming stages.

✔️ No matter what approach it is, Facebook does not only aim at the decentralized platform and Blockchain technology but the also views them as the milestones of development research in 2018. This is the strong evident for a bright future of digital currency.

Mark Zuckerberg see profitable opportunity in crypto world and that's good news, more people will create new coin, new job and create another way for bounty hunter like us to make money. He is business man with complete sources to start any strategy he want, nice move for Mark. I hope his project will become reality and survive on crypto market. Good luck Mark.
992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if you lose $2,000 in trading? on: February 20, 2018, 02:51:48 PM
Losing your hard earned money on trading is one of the traumatic experiences that might happen to you.  This is usually happen when you are so bullish on the coins you are investing. Here are my thoughts on how to redeem you from this kind of experience.

1. Acknowledge that you did something wrong

There are no other ways to start the process of redemption by accepting the fact that you made wrong decision. You need to accept that every once in a while we do poor judgment. It is important; when this thing happens to us we are ready to humble ourselves that we committed mistakes.

2.   Identify the problems

          a. Lack of experience – I was a successful trader in stock market winning mostly of my trade. But playing here as a day trader in crypto is something new. Your success in stock market doesn’t guarantee you success in BTC.

          b. Playing aggressive – Since I have too much ego in my head I put all my money in one coins only. I didn’t consider altcoins to hedge risk from BTC. There are altcoins who doesn’t affect much by this massive correction.

          c. Didn’t follow my trading plan – Foundation of trading practice is to follow the plan you have originally set. Your exit strategy is one of those important decisions you will made. It composes of selling and cut loss strategy.

3.   Courses of actions

          a. Never stop growing (learn the new market) – In every new things to we do it is very important to know our strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats (SWOT). Money is involved in every trade which make, which gives us reasons why we need to study the every aspects of cryptocurrency.

          b. Follow religiously your trading plan – There some trader who doesn’t have trading plan, in my case I have one which was not followed. Trading plan was based on your personal experience in trading. In time these plans was polished and test its effectiveness. If followed properly chances of success are increase.

          c. Never stop trading – If this single defeat dictates me to stop then the real loss will happen. These circumstances should ignite us to continue, make this experience to hungrier for success.

d.Diversify your portfolio – Never do all in trade. These will gives you room for another alternative once the other coin doesn’t do well. Balance your portfolio composes of your well research coins.

After careful assessment of my situation, I believe that once a trader will always be a trader. I may lose sometimes but will rebound harder and stronger.

Remember merits are perishable if not use

Every one has their own strategy to face and fix their method and we can do that anywhere and anytime. As long my experience, we can fix our strategy by not do the same mistakes and accept the result. Even lost $ 2.000 or more it doesn't matter as long we not do the same mistake next time. Trader/ investor mistake on real market mostly not because they don't have a good strategy but only can't control emotion and greedy.

993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best times to trade coin 2 coin in relation to fluctuating values??? on: February 19, 2018, 05:21:46 AM
Hi everyone

Im relatively new to trading and have come upon a question that I need to ask...

How do you manage trades between coins when the prices are fluctuating? There has to be an optimal time to put trades through in order to maximize the profitability of the trade?

Is it something as simple as looking for situations where the coin you are trading away is up, and the one you are buying is down? Or are there other ways to look at this?

thank you for your help

I don't get it but the answer like this. Fluctuating is part of market and we need that to look opportunity replace our open position ( OP ) to make money, will be no more profit if the market always stable. The way to look the best situation is only watch chart market and use technical analyze ( MACD ) with long time period. Not always correct but very helpful for newbie like me.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100,000 to invest. Should I buy BTC or ETH or altcoins? on: February 19, 2018, 04:05:46 AM
Hi, I am from taiwan and I have been introduced by a colleague to bitcointalk to learn more about cryptocurrencies.

I intend to start my portfolio with $100k and work my way up. I am managing a small private fund which usually invest into equities

but we are now interested in crypto.

Me and my team's initial research tells us to buy ETH, NEO, Monero, Dash, IOTA, Lisk and Tron.

Anyone here working in a fund house? Any inputs?

MingNa

Split your fund expect for Lisk, I don't see any significant price action ( sorry bout this one ). I think you know about what should do but I have one advice for you, never replace all your money into cryptocurrencies, at least 10% for fund back up. Crypto is different from stock, valas and currency even they have similar pattern. Wait until March and buy any crypto you like depend your analyze because this month is not right time to buy. Patience first and good luck with you.
995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In this down market how your doing? on: February 19, 2018, 03:02:45 AM
I know we all can make a good profit when markets are going up but since last, one-month markets are down. So how is your portfolio is doing and are you selling or holding?

I'm fine actually because realize that down market will happen anyway but until when I don't know. This situation is part of real market and we see it as risk, face it and learn it. My portfolio value is also go down and I decides to hold because if I do sell, lost will be mine. Need patience but worth for me and I think you should do the same. Keep going and good luck with you.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose your bounty hunt? on: February 19, 2018, 02:14:32 AM
Do you follow any particular system or do you take any particular steps to make sure you are on a good bounty campaign? Do you just look at the WP or the total ammount?

I see white paper, road map and the manager. That thing is very important for me to know how the plan, execute and people I can ask about the bounty program. Look's simple but until now is worth to be done, at least I can finish the task on time and get payment. People will give you different answer but I can say just take one try it and learn it. Good luck with you.
997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my ether wallet can be hacked??/ on: February 19, 2018, 01:17:23 AM
Recently few days i am worried about cybar attack dec 25 i was lost my valuable token. Now i am confused and ask a question in my mind mew can be hack? please give me any suggestion i am afraid now.

Every wallet can be hacked but mostly because the owner doesn't care about their wallet. They never fix their attitude about how to protect their wallet. Such as, they click link into MEW with out check the address correctly, use another device or network to open their wallet, last one is their data really stolen from their pc/ laptop. This is modern technology and everything could happen just do what is necessary to protect your wallet. Good luck with you.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]Cryptics Exchange rate predictions based on AI on: February 16, 2018, 02:52:27 AM

999  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO investment Risk on: February 15, 2018, 02:55:40 PM
I just work on bounty at this moment. But every person have a dream.I have a dream.I want to make a big investor.I want to invest on ICO.Can anyone explain me, Have any risk involved invest money on ICO?

The risk is only when you loss money, maybe wrong decisions when choose the right ICO project ( the price go down and down again ), loss when trade/ invest ( still hold when time to get out ), or stuck in long time ( buy high ). Risk is part of invest and all we do on the crypto market and risk is the first knowledge we should know before decides replace our money. Learn it first and have a good investment later.
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What were your most profitable coins/token ? on: February 15, 2018, 01:43:58 PM
I will start with myself. Got 250 token from polymath airdrop. These 250 coin are valued about 200-230 $.

Dear bitcointalk users, please share your stories of success in ICO/Aidrops/Bounty coins and token.

Thanks in advance.

Last year I received profit from bitcoin and xmr and this year I try eth and ltc. About new coin from ICO, I never invest/ trade with it anymore. Since I got loss with KICK make stress really bad. Actually, every coin has the same profitable opportunity for us to create profit but as long we know real market work and always using stop loss, our asset will grow up.
