9861  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-06-26] Why the Bitcoin Blockchain Beats Out Competitors on: June 27, 2015, 10:09:23 AM
Litecoins main attribution is that is has the second biggest blockchain and it could be a backup for BTC.

Do you really think that having a big blockchain is an advantage in competition towards other altcoins?
9862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best new altcoin in the last 3 month? on: June 27, 2015, 10:07:39 AM
Agree, this is the best procedure to find promising new coins. Don't rely on any recommendations of others, because everyone has its own interests to recommend a particular coin. Try to do research on your own.

On your favourite exchange market, pick some oldest coins that are traded there, make a list of 10 of those with highest market capitalization, research their community, development and future plans. Quite simple, you just need time to do that research and luck of course.

Please add the currency unit for the guessed 50 million. Let me guess, you mean Satoshi   Tongue

50 million
9864  Economy / Economics / Re: Technological unemployment is (almost) here on: June 27, 2015, 09:57:51 AM
Each new innovation (and Bitcoin is an innovation) brings new kinds of jobs up we have not thought about before. So, if Bitcoin is getting a serious mainstream thing, then it will create new jobs for the ecosystem and businesses models around the coin.

Yes. Even bitcoin will replace many existing jobs if it ever become mainstream.
Do you mean unemployment will grow as Bitcoin became more familiar in the financial market ? I think bitcoin has nothing do with those jobs factors, since the invention of bitcoin according to satoshi is "A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution."
9865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: UPDATE [CGN] | KolschCoin backed by Beer UPDATE on: June 27, 2015, 09:55:28 AM
Same question here  Grin I have mined some KolschCoin and now looking for a way to spend them. Is there a tutorial somewhere (I have not read all posts here in the thread)?

who do I send coin to for beer? I'm in U.S. .....

9866  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: June 27, 2015, 09:54:09 AM
Agree, but if you follow the current price stability of Bitcoin and if it goes on this way then we will certainly see a price increase.
Adoption of Bitcoin is becoming better from day to day. Not the growth rates as in 2013 and 2014 but it is still pretty high.

If price doesn't double I'd say we have a serious problem.  It would basically mean adoption is decreaseing as less money needs to come in daily to maintain price.
9867  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-06-27] Nasdaq Plans To Introduce Blockchain In The Private Market on: June 27, 2015, 09:04:26 AM
Management of private companies’ shares has for long been a costly, labor-intensive procedure that involved a lot of paperwork as well as spreadsheets, advocates and other times, filing of bank vaults and cabinets.

9868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Overstock investing in altcoins- Take your guess which ones? on: June 26, 2015, 08:43:24 PM
Guys, lets come back to the original topic. i would put Nxt, Vericoin and BitcoinDark into the basket.
9869  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [2015] A guide to investing in bitcoin on: June 26, 2015, 08:10:45 PM
Agree, i don't think the introduction is a good investment guide for newcomers.

I think, this needs to be made sticky in Investment Based Games section.

Why?

I don't see it speaking about cloudmining or ponzies or scams Huh

This is a introductory and basic text, I don't think the investor based games are meant for newbies only
9870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best new altcoin in the last 3 month? on: June 26, 2015, 07:39:20 PM
That's a difficult question. Most new coins over the last months where scams or cheap fun coins. DarkBit looks promising so far.
9871  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Raiffeisenbank stoppt Überweisung on: June 26, 2015, 07:34:00 PM

9875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | 100% POS | Assets | Names | Voting | Automated Transactions on: June 26, 2015, 07:14:18 PM
i still would like to see Qora as a participating member of SuperNET. The project is doing good progress and it seems it really works well. Qora could be the coin within SuperNET what brings distributed blogging software and AT.
9876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT, the ultimate SCAM, will it die because of 100% pre-mine given to 50 people? on: June 26, 2015, 07:11:30 PM
Please try to do better research. it were 73 instead of 50 people  Grin And do not forget: the best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying 7 and 3... and in binary 73 is a palindrome, 1001001, which backwards is 1001001.

Nxt is one of the most well-distributed coins. There was a analysis some time ago where someone researched the distribution of Nxt and Bitcoin . Not surprisingly, Nxt has won.
9877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: June 26, 2015, 07:07:01 PM
it is coming around with coin shuffling feature. Last plan i read at nxtforum.org was verison 1.6.

when is nxt anonymity feature coming out and how does it work? any ideas yet?
9878  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-06-26] Brazilian Bitcoin Company CoinBR Aggressively Expands Its Reach on: June 26, 2015, 07:05:00 PM
Just last week, we reported how two smaller exchanges in Mexico have merged in order to take on their bigger competitors. It seems like this may be a new trend in South America, as two Brazilian Bitcoin-based companies have now merged.

9879  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-06-26] Use Bitcoin To Cover Clinic Payments With BitMD on: June 26, 2015, 07:03:13 PM
Making Bitcoin more usable for the everyday consumer is a difficult hurdle to overcome. Not just because it is hard to get Bitcoin into the hands of people in a convenient way, but also because there are not enough “real life” use cases at this time. BitMD is looking to change that, by allowing clinics to accept Bitcoin payments.
