Well, that would make a huge impact on the coin price. Look at the market cap of about 2 mln NEM currently have. This are peanuts for institutional investors, venture capitalists or even some rich nerds in the Silicon Valley. Just convince one of them and you will get a bigger impact on the price than being a part of such an investment program.

we need to be listed on this:

"Genesis Trading, a wholly owned subsidiary of Digital Currency Group (DCG), allows investors to buy and sell large blocks of digital currencies, including bitcoin, litecoin and ripple, and follows strict AML/KYC procedures, according to O'Connor."

http://cointelegraph.com/news/113988/first-licensed-digital-currency-broker-dealer-genesis-trading-launches-in-the-us

Thanks for posting the link to that article, if you can convince large institutional buyers to purchase XEM coins then you should be able to see the price of XEM trading up above the 6000 satoshi range. Right now, it cost about $1.4 million to purchase all XEM coins from previous stakeholders at around 70 satoshi per each XEM coin.

Same for me. Withdrawals don't work for the most time. I've got one withdrawal on Oct 2014 with a delay of more than two weeks. I also think that most of the users have more than one account, so many accounts there are socketpuppets or just inactive users. Don't waste your time using this site.
10863  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: April 17, 2015, 02:40:33 PM
I don't agree with that. The best strategy is to mine and sell immediately. If you wait you will mostly lose money because most coin's value falls longterm (current trend troughout all crypto coins).

Mine is simple and the best. Buy low, wait, sell high.  Tongue

10864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What trading tools would you guys want? on: April 17, 2015, 02:36:37 PM
I would like to have a trading tool which automatically informs me by email when particular chart technical events happen like breaking the 200 day moving average line long and short for instance.

Thanks for bringing NAS up again. I've just reactivated my client and everything seems to work fine. Great job! Keep it up!

3. Create a strong investors group, able to buy dumpers stakes! I would to joun with 10-20 BTC too!

Why don't you simply use the 10-20 BTC to create a strong buy wall so that the price stables? IMHO, this makes more sense.
10867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: April 17, 2015, 07:45:17 AM
Are you using mail.com? I had similiar problems some time ago. I contacted the support and they told me that bct is onto their blocking lists. Changed to gmail and everything works fine now.
It looks like my email server is rejecting bitcointalk.org.

Btw, I'm happy to keep contributing to Devcoin and Devtome!
10868  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 17, 2015, 07:17:38 AM
I would say it depends on what you can risk and how the inflation rate for your currency is. If inflation rate is high, saving money does not really make sense. If you need the money to buy food and clothes (basic things) then saving is better than investing.
10869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think quantum computers would break Bitcoin's security? on: April 17, 2015, 07:14:52 AM
It does not need to break the cryptography. It only needs a quantum machine that can easily create all private keys and store them all into a database to look up every private key for a public key as on http://directory.io where it happens on the fly.
Sure, calculating and storing 10^79 keys is currently impossible without doing it in hundreads of years. But nobody knows what the future brings up. Remeber Moors law.

A more powerful computer doesn't mean that it will break any cryptography.
Remeber that better computers means only faster brute force attacks.

Why should NEM rise to the price of NXT to reach its value?? Actually there are nine times for NEM tokens/coins as NXT tokens. When NEM should reach the market cap of NXT, the price per NEM must be around 450 sats.

Hi to all. Just discover this coin and its looks interesting. Can somebody explain why are the price is so low on poloniex and whats
happening behind this hype. Its hard to read 889 pages  Wink Cheesy

70 Satoshi for 1 XEM.  Wow such deal.   NXT is 4000 Satoshi for 1 NXT.   I can buy 57x more XEM than NXT.   Bitshares is 212 Satoshi.   I can buy 3x-4x more XEM than BTS.

XEM is cheapest Bitcoin 2.0+ Platform and thus most profit for investors.  This is guaranteed winner.

Soon it is 1000s Satoshi or more.   $100 make $5000 soon, wow.

This is a NXT wannabe and offers nothing innovative you can;t get elsewhere, lacks marketing and product, and has a huge supply watering down the market, I say 40 sats by mid May.

Apparently, some idiots sabotaged NEM projects in the beginning by increasing the amount of XEM coins to 8,999,999,999 coins. Now, it will take a longer period of time to buy all of the XEM coins back from previous stakeholders before we can move the price up to NXT coin's price 0.00004324. The estimated time frame is around 1 to 7 months to buy XEM coins from those previous stakeholders at the price of 0.00000050 to 0.00000080 per each XEM coin. The only way we can increase the price of XEM coins is when there are limited supply of XEM coins left for sale.

"SCP can only guarantee safety when nodes choose adequate quorum slices."
If I got this mechanism right, it is too costly for normal users being a part of the network. They don't want trusting or voting in any case. It seems it is a proposal from a nerd to nerds but nothing for wider adoption.

I guess it is still because BTER was offline for while some weeks ago. The exchange lost much trust.

Why bter and btc38 markets dont gets added to coinmarketcap?

Just devleop a small macro using programming language VBA. You need to call an API of one of the major exchange to get the current prices. VBA is not hard to learn and there are many tutorials how to call an API.

10877  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Deutsche NEM Community on: April 16, 2015, 06:10:59 PM

A Proof-of-Stake algorithm that is different from anything that is described here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_Stake.

The algorithm will allow accounts to start generating blocks after only 10 confirmations.
Each account will also know at exactly which point they will generate the next block.

Where can I find when my account will generate the next block?
Or will this be later available? With or without @Qora?

There is no indication or something like that how likely it is that you will generate the next block. It happens by chance. The higher your stake the higher is your chance that you will generate the next one.

I love Bitcoin Checker app for Android. It shows real time prices of your favourite coins directly in the phones news feed. It also supports most known crypto exchanges out there.

I have a lot of faith that this feature is planned in near future...

Which features are planned for the near future? The devs always talk about cool features that coming around soon but I've never read somewhere what the features are. Something really new or just a copy or improvement of exisiting features which are already implemented in some coin projects? Some more details or spoilers please!
