I am a Ripple user. Recently, came to know about IvyKoin. Also found few subreddits on IvyKoin. Any suggestion? Which one is better? Any user of IvyKoin? Looking for honest review and suggestion.

What do you actually mean by "use Bitcoin (Altcoin as well)"? How do you actually want us to use it? As you already know bitcoin has become an abstract common noun. We can't touch it or smell it but we know it exists on the internet. We learn about it, we see its progress, we observe its ups and downs, we sell it and buy it. How else we can use it? As a currency? I'm sorry to disappoint you but Bitcoin is not a currency yet.

I don't think that is what going to happen. First of all, probably a majority might decide to HODL but there will be always some people who will look for some sales. If that happens, prices are likely to go high rather than low. Take capitalist for example, when they hold the supply of something, the price is more likely to go high. Same goes for crypto currencies as well.

Although Bitcoin is decentralized and anonymous, there are still ways for the government to catch you. The government has access in so many things than you think. They can deduct that you are a bitcoin user. If you stay careful every single day, then you can be safe. It's harder than it sounds. Living in crypto world when it is banned makes it more difficult. All the best.

Bitcoin is worth 50% LESS than exactly 6 months ago. How does that sound?

I used to have a cryptocurrency card but it wasn't associated with credits or anything. It was just a pocket card to show my balance and the current prices and rates of different crypto currencies and few fiat money like Dollar, Euro etc. I think it's yet to be introduced that you can actually lend BTC. Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

Please, that's the idea you got from fictional movies. They were and they are writers who wrote those fictions. The technology are not really working to create a world full of robots. Technology is not exactly here to save "Humanity" but to serve humans when they need it the most. The perhaps of technology is to help people, saving their time and making things easy. Saving Humanity is a completely different thing.

Umm, ok let's give you a real example, me. In my university life I had 2 Economics courses. I couldn't possibly understand the meaning of a country's economical situation before I took those courses. I couldn't even manage to imagine it. But now I do. I can think of the consequences with a change in economical factor. Take Bitcoin for example, BTC has an impact on every Altcoins. You would understand the reason why when you will study Economics.

End of June and beginning of July is considered as Bank Year. Last day of June is the end of the Bank year and first day of July is probably a bank holiday. I think this is the reason for the recent drop and jump back to where it was. This doesn't look like a trap to me but it certainly doesn't prove anything that this might be the time for a crypto comeback.

A currency on the top of all currencies does not have a hard fall, yes it may fall but its key feature is that it is stable. It can't fall on the ground so easily. It would take years. However, even it does it will effect Bitcoins for sure. Just like BTC, any major change in BTC results a certain change in Altcoins.
|
|
|
What would you call it when the price of the Bitcoin went down to less than $6000? That was a hard fall, or you can call it a hard drop. Which makes it a recovery. Bitcoin just recovered from the sudden fall and it's good news that the recovery didn't take more than a week.

It already happened. Bitcoin went down from more than 14K to less than 6K. It was a crucial move for BTC in this year. It's up to your point of view how do you measure it in good or bad way. Well I don't think Bitcoin need to go up high again, it would be better if Bitcoin stay low. It needs to be more stable, not more expensive.

|
I don't know about what happened with Bitcoin in 2013 but I think Bitcoin had a bigger crash in 2018. Not in June though, back in January and February. The price went down from 14K to 9K within less than a week. That was worse than what BTC is going through now.

Belgium got their best team ever formatted in a Football world cup. They have a big chance to do something big in this Russia world cup. I don't think Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France would be able to go to the final this year. Among England, Belgium, Spain, Croatia would be the winner of this World Cup 2018.

When you receive one merit - you receive 0.5 sMerit which does not show and is not spendable.
That explains it. Thank you very much. If I have some merits not, I would definitely send it to you.

if you're not sending any sMerits to productive posts, I had to believed that you have no idea about why the merit system was implemented and it's utmost goal.
No no no, You didn't get my point. It's not like I'm not sending sMerits, I'm not being able to send merits. Let me tell you what happened here with the last merit I got. I am fairly regular in Bitcointalk. But for some reasons I didn't logged in for 2-3 days. When I got back, I had seen that I received a Merit but it shows I have zero sMerits. I couldn't send that sMerit even if I wanted to. Something similar happened the last time when I received 10 merits for one post. Merit system was totally new at that time. Well, maybe sMerits decays after 2-3 days or so. That's what I wanted to know, if they don't decay like this then what happened with me not being able to send sMerits?

I'm not surprised that Bitcoin is in number 6, but it's really surprising that the Japanese Yuan is in number 4. Not just in number 4 but the difference with the fifth (Indian Rupee) is in a very large margin. Japanese Yuan way passed the Indian Rupee and it's close to Chinese Yuan. That's really surprising considering Japan as a smaller country compared to other two.
