Alibaba prices are a scam. The sellers don't update their prices. You have to contact them first and get a market price. It's a classic bait and switch. They will show a L3+ for around $100 USD available to ship now. If you buy and don't contact them about the real price, they will say not available. You will then need to get a refund minus the bank charge Alibaba dings you with. It's a scam.

The funny thing is, this again, will probably not do that well due to the same issue inno, whatsminer, and now canaan all seem to be too blind to see vs bitmain. 1 power connector. Bitmain has 2 on all there miners. So bitmains miner that would be 3000w = pdu friendly, everyone else... = not friendly. This would be pretty interesting especially if price but yea, 1 connect is a no go for many of us.
If you run in a data center, they can handled the power requirements. A home miner makes it more difficult not not impossible. I am running my M20S with one C19 on lower power at 1950 W on a 20A 208 circuit. I could push it to the normal setting but then it would go to 3150 W. More noise that I can hear in my living room from the garage.

is the miner boxed in any way (soundproofed)? 59 DB is amazing and the power consumption I simply love. Is the sound perceived next to the miner (like 1 ft away?) or in the house? I am not familiar with m20s at all, does it have like a low power function on him? thank you There is no sound proofing on the miner. It has two high speed 140mm fans on both ends. At standard mining speed the noise ramps up high and makes a very loud hum noise that I can hear in my house with the miner in the garage. I lined the walls of the garage that attached to main part of the house with 2 inch acoustic sound proofing to minimize noise. An S9 I had in there running I could barely hear. The M20S at 69Th/s and fans at over 4000 RPM I can hear very clearly and it was annoying the wife. But I put it on the low power setting and it's all good. Can't hear it at all. If I stand in the garage I hear a low hum noise from it and that's it. So happy wife, happy life.

I can also tell you that I received an e-mail from Pangolin on 9/17 that said my order was ready to ship out. It took about 7 days to get to the west coast by DHL, after customs I got it 10/3.
I got my m20s from Pangolin last week. Took about 5 days to clear customs. I am currently mining on low power mode. Doing about 49TH/s at 1950 W. Fans speed is at 2100 RPM so it is pretty quiet. Lower noise than an S9. If i crank it up to 69 TH/s then it makes a fan hum that I can hear in the house from the garage. I am pretty happy with it so far.
Yes my concern is also the load on the c19/c20. Close to the 16A rating. Although the M20S on Pangolin goes from 68T to 62T with power rating from 3260W to 2977W. On my order it does not state what the Th/s rating will be so my guess is it will be what they ship. So you could get a 62T version which would give it a bit more safety on power consumption and if you can run the M20S on low power mode then that would reduce the noise. So many decisions and unknowns.

The designer says this.
The total cross-section of the cutouts in every dampener plate is bigger than the cross-section of the fan outlet. So air-flow wise, the box should handle it.
I am considering paying him to have a redesign and order one for testing. I can post the heat results and then if they seem good then people can order from him thru eBay. Low power is an option but it's like owning a Ferrari but only putting it in first gear.

For noise reduction I have been messaging a guy that sells this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/273926631722?ul_noapp=trueHe can redo the design for a m21s/m20 at a cost of 150 EUR and sell it then for 160 EUR. Do you think it would be an option to go this path to make it quieter to run the miner at full speed. He can put a 6 in exhaust port to flex duct the heat outside. What do you think?

Will you be able to underclock the M20S? My PUD is 16A for the C20 connection. So at 208V @16A I get 3328W. This is maxing the circuit. If you underclock the M20S that should give it more headroom.

So any equipment sent to them for hosting is now gone. I had a few tokens with them and send them some S9 miners. I asked for them back several months ago with no response. Such scammers.

I have some miners waiting for deployment. I didn't buy the miners from them but I had some S9's and Bitmain PSU's that I sent to them. Did you buy new PSU's from them because the Bitmain APW3++ are not UL compliant? I asked and they told me I need to buy their PSU which is UL compliant. Is this a scam?
That is normal the small shake. They slide into the case so that if there is a problem with a board, Bitmain when they authorize, you can open the miner and send the board only back to them.

I have built a super quite single card headless miners. Gen Ethos for the os. Very little heat and not louder than a regular PC. Used a Dell Inspiron 530 computer with a Asus R9 380x. Got a free PSU from Amazon after they sent me two when I only paid for one PSU. Computer I got from an electronics recycling dumpster for free. Total cost for the setup was $50 and that was for the Asus R9 380x off a guy on craigslist. Does about 16 Mh/s for Eth. Not much I know but it's quite as a mouse and little to no heat generated. Since it is headless, no monitor required and I can go to it's ip address and pull up a web interface to see it's stats.

There is no logic to cryptos. I have seen experts spout numbers and profit calculators, thumping on their dead mothers grave that you can't make a profit buying this or that miner. I myself was guilty of this. Then boom crypto prices go crazy and who looks like the fool. Some say its better to buy and hold but who can do that? If you are holding BTC and it takes a 50% dump most get scared and sell. If you got a miner you just keep on mining at a slight loss sometimes due to electricity cost. You save up your coin and then when the market takes off you can then sell. If you have the stomach to hold cryptos in a free fall and then not sell when going back up, all the more power to you. Most don't have that kind of mental will. The people that pay market value for a miner on eBay are those who want to jump on the boat now rather than wait months or longer. I remember waiting 8 months for a miner that I preordered. I should have paid more to get it on eBay but I was stupid and wanted to get it cheap. In that time frame BTC went up 500%. I could have made a killing if I had bought a miner on eBay. Also if you buy a used miner on eBay, you don't have to deal with the Bitmain lottery. I don't know how many times I have bought miners from Bitmain only to have them die after a week or so. Then you ship back to the mother country and have them dick around with you for repair costs and shipping.

Having problems accessing the website. Is it my computer? Wondering if they took it down before the release?

I have not seen any e-mails from them. I tried to login yesterday and it asked to update password by sending an e-mail to the registered one. Nothing. Are U.S based e-mails getting blocked? I have checked my spam filters and nothing.

Madness and very bad, Bitmain has sold over 10.000 units today
--> productRemainCount value="10087"
I was going to buy one but seeing so many being sold. I think by the time I get it 15GH/s will probably generate .5 DASH per month so ROI is more or less a year.

Will Bitmain transfer a paid order to another account. I purchased a November batch from another seller on eBay and was wondering if I can ask the seller to contact Bitmain and have the order transferred. Any problems with this?
