Absolutely. If you followed my case closely you will notice that I kept pointing out I had used the platform seamlessly before this incident. I'm just glad to have it resolved and yes of course it is only right I provide everyone here with updates as all my complaints were also publicly made.

However, I still strongly believe that freebitco.in needs extra hands on their support side of things because however you choose to look at it, it still makes no sense I was made to wait for 8 months to get something as simple as that resolved. This kind of situation definitely causes panic and doubt to the user and community at large.

I'm really sorry this took so long. I didn't take it seriously at the time because it's an issue that I get complaints about all the time and there's never been an actual problem with it before. When there are 2 outputs to the same address in a transaction the script that checks each new block credits the first one and then there's a second script that runs to do the next one. Because that runs later people always assume it has been missed. It turns out that at the time this happened to you our node had crashed and wetsuit had to build a new one. In that process, the second script didn't get copied across to the new node.

My 2FA is not working anymore and I am unable to reset it.
Help!

- Follow the instructions published here in Login/Reset:
https://freebitco.in/signup/?op=s
image:
https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2F7r0gBtW%2FImage.png&t=660&c=7S32YB8AhReHXA

- If you are unable to follow the instructions, this site isn't for you.

- If you are able, write down what you already did and I will add something else.

I have stated many times that if you are unable to use the automated 2fa reset provided you need to message me a Bitcoin signed message either from the Bitcoin address you set as default on the profile page or an address you have previously deposited from. As we're an anonymous to use site we don't know who owns the account so messaging me offering to prove your identity isn't of any use.

There may be a minor delay in the payouts this week as I'm currently waiting for a wallet top up. If it's not topped up EOD Monday I'll pay you guys out of pocket and put the campaign on hold until I hear back from freebitco.in, keep in mind though that it may just be topped up later today/during this weekend and we're all good. I'll keep you all posted regardless!

Sorry about that everyone.

Are we going to see the Oscar betting on freebico.in thus year? I remember it used to be the place where I could make many bets on that event, in almost all categories.

Thanks for the reminder. It's not something I follow so it's easy for me to miss.

Hello and happy new year TheQuin,
I trust you're doing good? I have waited since December 13th hoping to get a response from you.

I wrote about a deposit issue I have (deposit was not credited) with the website freebitco.in and provided details in the last mail. I've used freebitco.in for a number of years and never had this kind of issue.

Please kindly look into this, this has been a pending issue since September 2023.
Hoping to read from you soon. Thank you.

I'm sorry if I missed it. Please send me a PM with the details.

Ok I know I did not use multiple accounts in my home, occasionally while helping a referral I logged in with his email on my computer to show him how it works and that was may be 2 years ago.
I also agree to your statement that abuser generally plays ignorant but can I request to consider my situation again. At least allow me to withdraw my funtokens which I invested from my money.

Occasionally means you did it more than one time. Why would you need to log into another user's account multiple times to show them how the site works? Why couldn't you show them while logged into your own account? Claiming from a faucet and playing a hi-lo game isn't rocket science where people need to be guided in how to do it. Your explanation doesn't make sense and is incriminating you further.

Yes. That's why I said getting into these conversations is pointless.

My account was deactivated without giving any reason. It’s unfair. At least tell me the reason. I have invested in funtokens and when it was time to withdraw they deactivated. Isn’t is scam?

Sent an email to support, didn’t respond.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

5.10. Only one account per customer / IP / home is allowed. If you successfully try and / or open more than one account, all of your accounts can be blocked, suspended or closed and any cryptocurrency credited to your frozen account.

There's not much point in replying to emails about this as it just ends up with the abuser lying and pretending they didn't do it or claiming they didn't even know that multi-accounting a faucet is theft and abuse of the service.

Hello good evening dear freebitcoin.

I have a problem. I requested a BTC withdrawal today but it never arrived. It says:
Invalid BTC Transaction

https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/transactions/btc/b693b2d593850c106e41efbe89bd7a351286dd6f785fd8b8788f042ca598118f

- Can I suggest that you start by doing your own research (?), eventually from here (?):

~

It's actually something a little different. To manage the wallet in a way that reduces the number of inputs (and therefore weight and cost) of each transaction we always spend the change of the previous transaction. That means if the previous transaction hasn't confirmed yet we're spending an unconfirmed input. If fees suddenly spike that can cause a long chain of unconfirmed transactions and very occasionally it hits the limit of the length of that chain so although we have prepared and signed it we can't broadcast it until the queue clears out.

There's nothing that can be done about it other than waiting for the mempool to clear out a bit.

This isn't the thread we gave you a link to and your entry is invalid because that isn't an image of the win on the FREE BTC page at the time the roll happened. The reason we don't accept screenshots of the roll history is to prevent anyone using automation in violation of the rules from claiming the extra $5.

Having just looked at your account I can see that you are also violating another rule of ours.

What is catch?

There's no catch but things like that are processed as a batch at the end of the day so you might have to wait up to 24 hours to be credited.

Putted in 2.100$. Losed 1300$. (even if it went to 1000$ token u was locked. Kinda stay down and enjoy , bi***) No way to sell // buy when it increase (you will not see anything like that at the banks either, as asked, look I wanna rennounce at my benefits and selling them as I can see how this was a scam, and they're answer was, we will not allow that).

- You seem to say that you have locked FUN Tockens in time to get a quantity discount and that you can't reverse the operation.

No pun intended, it means that, like everyone else, you don't know how to use a time machine to travel back in the calendar and that when you risk, you either win or lose.

The benefit of locking is the interest paid when the locking period ends. That's between 5% and 25% APY depending on how long you lock them for. There's obviously going to be a reason for us to offer an incentive that large. We encourage people to lock the tokens because that means they can't be sold, it removes them from the market which is good for the price (supply vs. demand). The concept wouldn't work if people could just ask to unlock them. The term "locked" is self explanatory in itself but if anyone doesn't understand what the word means the page explaining what it is doesn't make an offer like a bank would of fixed interest for a period with early redemption penalties listed. It offers a reward for locking them away.

Is the site down right now? I get a 429 Too Many Requests error message!

No. The site is working fine. That message means our servers are receiving too many requests from the same IP address. It could be for several reasons like using an address that is shared with many others or even malware on your device. The block times out after a couple of minutes so if you fix the problem it will start working again.

Your FUN withdrawal has been cancelled due to the following reason - Your plan has expired. Please go to the pricing plan and buy a plan to continue using our API.. Please correct the error and try to withdraw again.

The FUN will be refunded to your account within the next 1 hour and you can try to withdraw again.

What the hell does that even mean? There are no "pricing plans" on the whole damn website. And what does your API have to do with manual FUN withdrawals.
They are just looking for a reason to keep the FUN on FBTC so I am forced to sell them on there for btc and lose 100 bucks to them in the process.

I just created this account to warn all of you. If they are trying to scam me out of just 135k FUN, imagine what they are willing to for larger amounts.

Well, good luck.

It's the error message the API is giving to our system. It means that the wallet software provider has introduced a new version of the software that we can't get to work with our system. Our pricing plan is still for the old version because obviously, we're not going to pay them for an upgrade that doesn't work.

hello, new user of the site.
i have attempted a large btc withdrawal using the instant option.
its been over 1 hour and still nothing onchain.

i assume there was not enough btc in hot wallet, and being an unusual large withdrawal this might of triggered a manual confirm from the team.
hopefully everything will go through.

please update instant withdrawal with maybe a limit? or put somewhere in the faq that certain times when not enough in the hot wallet, an instant withdrawal can take up to x amount of time.

am i correct in my assumption that this will hit onchain like a 6hour manual withdrawal?

thank you.

update, my withdrawal went through!
great to see this old site that has their original ethos and ethics.

Good to hear that you received your withdrawal! I get that nobody likes to wait but waiting 1 hour is also not the end of the world. They probably just wanted to do some more checks based on the amount you tried to withdraw.

It would have been flagged for manual checking. I apologise for the delay but we do have to take the security of all our users' funds seriously. Congratulations on your win.

- Questions?

I don't have any questions. I'm just starting that I find it a bit odd that someone would engage in a discussion on a public forum and then delete their part of the conversation. There are enough archives of this forum around that I could find all the deleted posts if I wanted to, but I'm not curious enough to spend the time required to do that.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 29, 2023, 12:54:25 AM
If I'm not mistaken, then Freebitco use 'round half up' and 'round half down' method for the faucet amount calculation. Therefore, we will receive 1 satoshi from the faucet if $0.002 becomes less than 1.5 satoshi for the price surge of Bitcoin. And the faucet will give 2 satoshi as long as $0.002 stays between 1.5 satoshi to 2.5 satoshi.

- I am just familiar with the method used in Dice (Multiply BTC):

1.5 satoshi rounds to 1 (your "round half down") not like Excel's Round which is 2 (your "round half up")

1.51 rounds to 2 (your "round half up").

I don't use Excel but when I was at school rounding to the nearest whole number always meant 0.5 rounds up.

The currency conversion for Free rolls uses rounding to the nearest whole number. Payouts for winning Multiply BTC bets rounds down. It has to do that to avoid being exploitable. If someone bets to win 0.5 Sats and it is rounded up the 100% extra winnings outweighs the 5% house edge. I'm just putting that there as an example of why you can't always apply how one thing works to how something else works.

- Acording to present rules, it is 2 and, of course, they can be changed.
No,
As I said above, you are doing the calculation incorrectly.

I'm not sure what rulebook he's reading but the reason he's doing it wong is that he's applying the rules he's made up in the wrong order. His rule that starting from the top prize each level down is 1/10 of the prize above is correct. But he's applying the currency conversion 1st and then taking 1/10 of that which is wrong. The 1/10 rule needs to be applied 1st in USD and then the currency conversion is applied.

id5000, I don't really understand why you delete your posts.
According to ninjastic.space, you have made 82 posts in this thread and you have deleted all of them. Most probably, you are going to delete the post I just quoted as well.
With deleting your posts, you make anyone who wants to follow the discussion confused.

I find that very odd as well. It doesn't exactly encourage me to take them seriously.

@TheQuin, not sure if this is intentional or not, but I have gotten a few 6 hour flash promos lately that have lasted for nearly 7 hours. I just wanted to let you know in case you were not aware.

https://imgur.com/a/Bpsgvcu

You say a few times but...... it strikes me that many places just ended daylight savings time today and their devices local clock just put itself back one hour.

I did falsely assume that with $100k making 0.2 cents 2 sats and $200k making 0.2 cents 1 sat that the cutoff point would be halfway but after dusting off my calculator I can confirm that hosseinimr93 is spot on.

@hosseinimr93, Can you verify whether I'm right or wrong? You are good in this type of calculations.
You are right. To be more accurate, the base prize should decrease to 1 sat once bitcoin price reaches $133,333.33.

Below are the base prize for different bitcoin prices.

I don't know how you made the calculations, but it is wrong.

I think I've worked out where it's gone wrong which is I guess their question.

The rewards are calculated from the $200 level and then each prize down is 1/10 of that. But they have taken 1/10 of the previous prize in the table rather than calculating each individually from the $200 level which does affect rounding.

So here they have taken 0.00000005 /10 = 0.000000005 and rounded up to 0.00000001

Where they should have taken 0.00044450 / 100000 = 0.000000004445 rounds down to 0.00000000

Edit: After thinking about it a better of explaining it than each level is calculated from the $200 level is that each level prize is actually in USD and then converted to BTC and rounded to the nearest whole sat.
So the prize levels are
$0.002
$0.02
$0.20
$2.00
$20.00
$200.00
Converting and rounding each of those values will give the same result as the method I used above of dividing from the $200 conversion but if you just divide the level above by 10 you'll end up rounding a number that's already rounded.

The base reward is equivalent to $0.002 from the hourly faucet. Mathematically, 1 satoshi will be equivalent to $0.002 if the price of Bitcoin reaches to $200k. But we will start getting 1 satoshi from the hourly faucet if the price of Bitcoin reaches near to $135k. But your case is different.

I might be missing something here but I think $150k will be the point that $0.002 gets rounded down to 1 sat. However what I was really trying to get at is over $200k is the point it negatively affects us by making the minimum payout more than the $0.002 it is costed for.

You are getting less than the actual base reward. Generally, Freebitco reduce the faucet base reward for those users who claim the faucet always to gather free BTC.

For clarity, it isn't "users who claim the faucet always" but rather users with a low ratio of wagering to free winnings that get the low wagering reduction. You do bring up another point in that 33.5% of $0.002 will become 1 sat at a lower level of BTC price which will reduce the effectiveness of the low wagering reduction. Whether or not we need to do anything to counteract that effect will be something we have to consider if/when it happens.
