1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: September 15, 2017, 01:34:31 PM
I just sent in more coins to be mixed, but again the chips are all withdrawn. I am not even mixing that many coins. In most cases the amounts are between 0.3-1BTC. Larger chip pool is definitely a necessity.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price goes down to 2k $? And Is that a good time to trade? on: September 15, 2017, 11:16:18 AM
Listen to Goldman Sachs and prepare for the market to tank far below $3000 very soon, it's inevitable! If you want to trade in current market circumstances, you'll need balls of steel because panic is dictating the entire market. Analysis, charting, etc, put them all in the bin for now, they have zero value. I am setting up buy orders below $2700 as we speak.
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: September 14, 2017, 09:51:57 AM
I have successfully redeemed the coupon as the chips have been refilled. Unfortunately, the merge option wasn't available which left me with a bunch of smaller chip values. In regards to what to follow as example, looking at how bitmixer used to do everything was how people were liking it. Instead of a flat fee, allow people to manually set a fee ranging from 0.5-2%. If you let people to adjust their fees in the way of 0.8356%, 1.0346%, etc, people will never end up with the same fee.

I will keep waiting patiently as there is no real hurry for me at this point. I saved everything needed to restore my session. There must be a huge load of demand for a trustworthy mixing service after the shutdown of Bitmixer. I have used Chipmixer before and I am a great fan of the chips with each a different face value. It allows me to enjoy more privacy than at the time I was still mixing coins through Bitmixer.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Feeling good about the dip / down on: September 13, 2017, 01:54:57 PM
Most of the people complaining about the declining price are likely those who bought at the top, or very close to it. It is like these people were thinking that despite the major surge of the last months the market would continue to gain value. If we look at previous rallies, all of them have resulted in a sharp decline afterwards. If the market reaches a point where people aren't willing to pay top dollar for Bitcoin, the price will come down as natural result. It's all about supply and demand.
6  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: September 13, 2017, 11:30:40 AM
I have mixed some coins just now, and I too received a voucher code instead of (a) private key(s). Is it because the reserve ran dry? Step 2 mentions that all chips are withdrawn.
7  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: September 08, 2017, 11:58:19 AM
I've asked this before but got no answer from anyone, so again, is it possible to trade BTC/USDT with a basic verified account? I have zero interest to actually withdraw any Tethers. Basic verification allows token trading, but not fiat, but since Tether is a token as well in my book, this should be no problems with a basic verified account?

Edit: Still no answer from anyone being related to Bittrex. Good job! not
8  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-e hacked ?? on: September 04, 2017, 01:13:48 PM
i just received my litecoins from btc-e, which i am very happy with. is it really coincidence that now litecoin has tanked big time they sent out the coins? i don't think so, but considering that i bought my litecoins below $10, after this dump and losing the other 45% i am still in the profits. i hope for everyone else that btc-e ends up relaunching in a good manner so they can refund people properly. this chapter is closed for me.
9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-e hacked ?? on: September 04, 2017, 07:41:46 AM
i have made use of the withdrawal of my 55% funds, but after nearly 34 hours there has still nothing been showing up in my wallets. they state a deadline of 72 hours, so let's see if they keep their word. i have zero interest in continuing with an exchange that acts shady in the first place, and is completely unclear about its verification process. i am not going to send in an id and personal information to them, and neither should others.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: The biggest bitcoin crash ever has begun. on: August 14, 2017, 10:31:51 AM
lol kwuckduck. I can't believe this loser is still around. Hahaha, this guy along with roach and Stolfi will go down as the biggest fools in crypto history.

he will continue to act like that until the market reaches a point where there almost isn't a way to increase further anymore. i don't necessarily see this as a bad thing. look at it from this side > as long as he remains talking utter crap like that, it means that we're in a bullish phase. i would start to worry when he changes into someone being extremely positive about bitcoin.
11  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: August 14, 2017, 09:49:10 AM
i verified myself at the basic level and i am now allowed to do digital token trading. in order to do fiat and margin trading i need to verify myself at the enhanced level, so far that's clear. but i don't see any fiat trading possibilities. i only see usdt. does usdt trading fits into the digital token category that i can trade with basic verification, or is this the fiat trading that is being referred to that i need to get enhanced verification for?
12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E Down since 25.07.2017 on: July 26, 2017, 11:23:34 AM
i have around 400 litecoins there and an additional $3k in fiat. this can't be just a regular unscheduled maintenance considering how long it takes. at first it might have looked like that, but now the fear amongst people is starting to creep in (i am not an exception). what makes things even worse is the lack of proper communication from btc-e.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Bitcoin Dominance < 50% on: May 16, 2017, 11:27:47 AM
by looking at the title i thought it was more or less a click-bait article that you might have posted here. turns out, it is indeed a click-bait, but not an article. market caps have proven to be a poor indicator, and once again it proves itself to be the case again. by looking at the total coin supply, ripple has gone over bitcoin's market cap already. it's clearly visible in the screenshot posted by lauda.

look for yourself https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 16, 2017, 10:51:47 AM
There is a risk in investing and you cannot guarantee to have 100% growth of your investment in just a short period of time, unless you are genius.
Sometimes it takes month or years depending on what you invest, aside from being smart, you also need to be lucky to fast track your success.

even the best possible investors can't make guaranteed profits. thing to keep in mind is that when you depend on others, and that's exactly the case with trading and whatever form of investments, there will always be uncertainties. you simply don't know what others will do. right now can be all fine, but what about tomorrow? and exactly these uncertainties are something that no one can predict/see. but at the same time, that's also why people get attracted to invest instead of saving. it's exciting, there is potentially a decent sum of money to be made, you feel like you're doing something good, etc. it's a combination of everything.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possibility of Fork ever closer ??! on: March 22, 2017, 11:35:57 AM
No, the possibility of a fork is getting further and further away. at first there was like a 5% possibility of fork and now it is like 0.005% possibility or even less.

you are obviously ignoring factual information. the chances of a potential chain split are equal to how they were when there was a massive amount of panic going through the market. just out of interest, what gives you the impression that the possibility of a fork is further away than before?
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: No HardFork will happen -Most exchanges say BU will at *best be an ALT-Coin. on: March 19, 2017, 02:09:21 PM
This is only about BU, it seems that problem has been solved now.
But what about SegWit? Could it also cause a hard fork, or it will have only minor effect on bitcon?
It would be nice to see all the news in one place

No, SegWit would not cause a hard fork. It is compatible with previous versions, or a soft fork.
But the support for SegWit is lesser than the support for Bitcoin Unlimited now.

another thing is that bucoin needs a significant lower support percentage to activate. that's what is causing the current panic among traders and fellow community members. it would be a good thing if all miners from antpool start pointing their gear towards another pool as some sort of a boycott, but that will most likely not happen.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: So, what's up with the price? on: March 18, 2017, 02:24:56 PM
But then i sell my core bitcoin for Segwit bitcoin and the amount of coins stays the same right? How can i increase my coin then?

you are mixing things up. the "battle" is between segwit (core) and bucoin (bu). bucoin will be nothing more than an altcoin. if you calculate from there, then it's basically free money in case the fork creates 2 seperate blockchains and you sell bucoin.

But is this why the price drops so much right now?
Am i missing something?

I see that the price went from 1250$ to 1000$ in less then 2 days. Does this all have to day with the battle between SegWit and BU?

yep. bucoin has already an advantage when it comes to pools signalling support, but the fact that bucoin needs a support percentage far lower than segwit to activate, is what gets the market shaking. as you can see the price went even briefly below $1000 just now. it's very sad seeing the market go full panic for nothing. nothing in the way that all of this could have been prevented by pools supporting segwit.

19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin deep to $1070 best time to buy. on: March 18, 2017, 01:15:34 PM
bitstamp touched $1000 and bitfinex $1001. i am interested in seeing how long the $1000 mark will hold. obviously, that dump could have easily pushed the price below $1000 but that wasn't the intention (yet). congratz to those that had low $1000's buy orders open. quick profits.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: So, what's up with the price? on: March 18, 2017, 01:06:27 PM
Those weak hands. Some people will never understand. Momentum is broken. Slow recovery to 1070 EUR is underway. After that we brake to 800 EUR because of activation Segwit. Dont miss this recovery chance!  Hodl until we reach 1070 EUR.

there is no activation of segwit, what are you talking about?
