821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too slow on: July 04, 2016, 04:35:29 PM
no I don't think so. bitcoin is too fact, infact fast than any other crypto currency.

well, there are indeed faster digital currencies in terms of confirmations. so in that aspect bitcoin isn't the fastest crypto currency. or are you talking about something else?
822  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: July 04, 2016, 03:27:51 PM
Bitcoin has been rising up this past few weeks and continue to rise, what do you think?
will bitcoin continue to rise at the end of the month or it will have a sudden drop?
Look's like it but we will see in like 5 years later.
Im already curious about it,the btc chart in 2020 (yearly) that could be cool lol
anyway i think it will rise (in months term) unitl 1000$ and then it will get back to 600-700$ but it's my prediction only

I think your prediction is correct as it may touch to $1k at halving and after halving it will be back to $600 and to be honest if it sits at $600 for long time then I would be much satisfied.

i am not sure whether or not we'll see the $1000 price level gets touched any time soon, but i also have no problems with the price staying at $600 levels for quite some time. i do also like the volatility as it allows me to make good profits, but i also don't mind stability. stability gives non traders confidence and makes them much more willing to maybe even buy themselves some extra coins.
823  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to hit $10,000? on: July 04, 2016, 03:18:30 PM
No way it will be within 1 year. If we reach this high price, it will be at least 5 years later.
Maybe in 2/3 years some very innovative features are added or a big company like facebook or twitter steps in. Then their will be no limit for the price..
5 years? It will not happen, i mean bitcoin will never touch $10,000 but if this happened will many new billionaire
no one can predict the future price of bitcoin. when bitcoin price ever $10 become $1000 more, I hope it could happen again from $1000 to $10.000
We will never hit the 10.000 each sorry that i break your dream but we need to stay real you know. The price of the bitcoin will never hit the 10k each and that is because he only will hit that when everybody is selling their coins and that will never happen as you know.

well, at this point reaching $10,000 prices are nothing more than a wet dream of nearly everyone here. but who knows what will happen with the price once institutional investors enter the bitcoin market. i am quite sure that they can get the price to never before seen price levels in the range of $5000-$10,000. but then again, it's pure speculation. it gives us something to look forward to if it ever becomes reality.
824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back! $700 on: July 04, 2016, 02:52:20 PM
$700 still not yet happen at this time maybe after halving  the price will over $700

It will surely be over 700 before halving. After halving I don't have a clue haha

we are coming closer to $700 again after having touched $640 today. i love this volatility. don't think i have ever made as much profit as last weeks.
825  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: July 04, 2016, 01:44:55 PM
Ofcourse the price of bitcoin really matters for me as it is a one of the source of income for me, and yes I really get nervous if the prices are going down

there is really no need to get worried when the price is going down. lower price gives you the opportunity to enter the market at good prices. or maybe you depend too much on your bitcoin earnings that you worry as soon as the price goes down.
826  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: July 04, 2016, 11:03:04 AM
Though Bitcoin might not yield any significant margins in the short-term, it will definitely be a worthy investment in the long-term. With more and more businesses starting to accept Bitcoin payments, you can expect lot more transactions to happen.

as trader you can definitely make yourself a more than decent profit while you trade against the volatility. that's exactly what i have been doing lately. the price goes up which of course benefits me, and also i am increasing the number of coins i have whilst trading. it's a win win for me.
827  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL SELL! Whales need cheap Coins! on: July 03, 2016, 03:57:38 PM
just some rookies selling their coins in panic. they will surely end up buying their coins back at much higher levels. it's their usual routine.
828  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just 1000 blocks away from halving on: July 03, 2016, 03:50:30 PM
i can't wait as well. i will stay awake all day to see what happens with the price, and do some heavy day trading to get as much profit as possible.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I keep my BTC during the halving? on: July 03, 2016, 03:45:39 PM
you can store them in an online wallet. I think it would be safe once over before halving. My advice after a few days send the funds in your wallet to exchange. it all to make it easier when you want to sell bitcoin you have.

leaving your coins "stored" in online wallet services is a horrible thing to do. people are in bitcoin because they can now have full control over their money. if you leave your coins online, then you give a third party control over your coins, plus it's not safe with hacks and insider thefts. offline storage is the only way to go. if you want to trade or just sell your coins, then just send them to your exchange. it's that simple.
830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back! $700 on: July 03, 2016, 03:10:57 PM
i went to bed with the price being just over the $700 price level, and i wake up seeing the price got dumped down again. i could definitely make some profit on that dump if i was not sleeping.

I imagine this trend of bumps up and down will continue until people get used to it, and then when a lot of people try to exploit it for some
trade profits, it will just jump up,up and away, leaving sellers behind. Yup, i think its controlled to some point, thats why i just hodl.

don't think the majority of the people here will ever get used to these fluctuations. it has been happening from the beginning and people still panic when they see the price goes down a few bucks. for me personally these fluctuations are a more than welcome thing as i profit from trading against the volatility. where other people panic, i see opportunties.
831  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: July 03, 2016, 03:01:57 PM
I am sure there are a lot out there who have bought a lot at 730+ thinking it will grow more maybe also thinking it will sky rocket at $1000 but I hope that they dont lose faith. Let the bitcoins stay and you get it back.

well, if you buy at +$700 price levels, you have to know the risk of buying at nearly the top price. the current price is good to accumulate more coins. use this price in your advantage.
It's not a risk since we know that the price will still move higher than what we see, so it still a good thing if you buy today and hold it for a long time.

holding your coins for the long term is always a good thing, but there are no guarantees when it comes to bitcoin. if there was no risk in investing at certain price levels as people just assume the price will go up and up, then everyone would do it. if you don't know what the risks are, then how will you know how to calculate the risk of investing for a certain period of time?
832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is climbing up slowly slowly. what do you think ? on: July 03, 2016, 01:15:55 PM
is this the pre halving effect ? we are at 688$ from 630$ in 2-3 days i think so. what do you think ? i think we will see a big pump again very soon. the bull is ready to run now.

i also think we'll see a nice rally in the last days before the block halving. the entire market is waiting for something to happen. if there is no such a thing as a rally before the halving, then i'm quite sure a dump will happen directly after the halving as people will get disappointed.
833  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins long-term investment is dangerous. on: July 03, 2016, 12:52:23 PM
there are always risks of seeing the price go down heavily while people expect the price to only increase in the long term. but you are being too negative here. this volatility allows me as trader to make profits alongside the fact that i am holding my coins for the long term. also, the lowering supply won't affect bitcoin that much since nowadays the majority of the coins are already mined. don't forget the fact that a lot coins are off the market. if the price at some point goes up to very high levels, these coins will find their way to the market creating a flood of sell orders. enough coins for everyone.

835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halvening 99% ready, rocket only 2 weeks to go before moon launch!! on: July 03, 2016, 12:00:14 PM
The halving is already well calculated into the current price. It's actually quite overhyped because of it.

It doesn't matter. There is a huge hype around the actual date, and also we will have segwit soon and more new stuff. We are only going up.

You seriously believe that segwit crap? We've been promised a solution for years, it never happened and development has never been as dead as it is now.

Segwit just got merged this week.  Crap or not, it is coming.

Can someone explain Segwit to me please? In simple terms.

Thanks in advance.

Segwit or segregated witness is a restructuring of bitcoin transactions.  Transactions consist of two parts: the actual transaction (inputs and outputs) and the witness (signatures for each input).  Segregated witness separates out the signature portion to make that part easier to discard after it is verified.

Segwit along with the halving can really boost the price of bitcoin and we can see the all time high price of bitcoin this year. I wish it crosses $1000 and always remain above 1000$.

we have some exciting months ahead of us for sure. but the thing is that people tend to get over excited very easily. they lose the reality out of sight and come up with predictions of $2000-$3000 and so on. $1000 on the other hand is quite a possible target for this year. but then again, reaching the $1000 price level is one thing, keeping the price there is a completely other level of difficulty.
836  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 bitcoin = 200k dollars on: July 02, 2016, 04:57:48 PM
I think its impossible to happen but if bitcoin will be still exist in the future we are too old and we are no care about bitcoin in that time.. but maybe it will happen .. for now we have a goal that the price will reach in 1k value..

Yes, $1k is our primary goal to achieve and that may be achieved at the time of halving, but $200k will not be achieved at any stage as its unrealistic value to dream off.

$1000 is a more than realistic price target. reaching $200,000 indeed isn't. it's actually quite pointless to even think about such prices. people should focus more on realistic things instead of living in a fantasy world.
837  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: July 02, 2016, 04:34:17 PM
If bitcoin have a paper money and credit card for bitcoin, i think bitcoin can replace fiat. But the problem is bitcoin don't have it and bitcoin only for online.

there already is bitcoin related paper money in the form of paper wallets. that's the only form of paper money that you can get with bitcoin. an internet connection is required in order to spend/send these coins. also, there already is a bitcoin related credit card. it doesn't change anything as fiat will never get replaced by bitcoin. people just have to accept that.
838  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: July 02, 2016, 04:00:48 PM
I think it is not going to happen this but suppose if it drop to $1 than what would I will do, it is very simple I would like to buy thousands of bitcoins and for it I will use all my savings, I am quite sure bitcoin will moving to the moon very soon.
of course it will not happen, and even if it happens bitcoin prices would definitely go up very quickly. Well, if you buy a lot of bitcoin when its price dropped to $ 1, I think you'll be rich when the price goes up by height.

yeah even if it could go down to some low price like $1 then going to $2 is going to be the next step and it means 100% profit so i would make sure to buy as much as i can.

exactly that! you know how to look positively at something that a lot people will see as the failure of bitcoin. i would not even wait a micro second with buying at such price levels. i see profit everywhere.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People deserve to lose their Bitcoins ? on: July 02, 2016, 03:47:58 PM
does some one that puts money in shady investment and/or cloud mining sites deserve to lose their money? yes. does some one deserve to lose their coins for leaving them on exchanges? no.
840  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are down again? on: July 02, 2016, 02:57:09 PM
Absolutely, much awaited event is getting closer and closer now, now we need to have patience and just sit quietly and wait for the right to sell and earn profits.

I believe the bitcoin price will rise in long term. I do not have the ability to trade. I will hold them for long time.
i dont have the ability to trade too, to be honest i dont actually need to trade any of my bitcoins at the moment because i thing that the price will go only up

we are not down at the moment, and we are not going down right now, the price is showing that it will most probably grow a lot, i hope that it will reach the sky

if you don't have enough experience with trading, then it's indeed better to just stick to holding your coins. trading allows you to increase the number of coins that you have, plus you also benefit from the price that is going up. that goes up for traders that know how to trade. the market looks very interesting right now as the price is going up. i hope we can keep the good vibe for a long time.
