601  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: August 05, 2016, 12:18:32 PM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.

It will be used a lot, yes. But not by everyone for sure, because people still will be afraid of bitcoins, not everyone know about bitcoins yet, so it will take more time than that
The major reason is people are afraid of investing their money into it as there are many scammers around  who are constantly busy in running away with the money of people so I don't think it will be used by everyone in future.

i think the volatility aspect of bitcoin and the anti bitcoin campaign from the media has a much greater impact on people as to why they don't want to use bitcoin. also, scammers are everywhere in the world. if you use common sense when doing trades, then you can avoid being scammed. using a really trusted escrow helps to make the chances of getting scammed even lower.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: August 05, 2016, 12:09:40 PM
i think bitcoin is much more better than gold .
i think both are good, gold has its own position and value whereas bitcoin has its own importance, but to me in present time as there is a big fluctuation  in the price of bitcoin, and currently the price of bitcoin have fall down to a very very low level therefore to me the best option is to invest the money in bitcoin as compare to bitcoin because to me the price of bitcoin in current time are very very attractive, and hope that very soon it will rise to its origional position.

Price has gone down in past few days so I think this is the best price to invest money in bitcoin as price is expected to go higher in future which will result in higher profits.

even when the price was sitting around the $650 price level it was a good time to buy some coins for the long term. right now with the price below $600 it's even a better time to start buying. people should use this opportunity in their advantage.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: August 04, 2016, 01:47:29 PM
Well BITCOIN will mostly be loved by anyone who wants to have an opportunity online who wants to earn. The only problem is that the government hates it as it is not taxable. Maybe in the near future they will have new laws into it.

People will not like the bitcoin if the transaction confirmation time is too long. They will not have good experience.

in some cases bitcoin can't be blamed for taking a long time to get the first confirmation. adding appropriate fees to transactions is the most important thing. if you have done that, then it's up to the pools whether or not they will include your transaction in their block when finding it.
604  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price to 600 ? on: August 04, 2016, 01:42:49 PM
Good to see bitcoin stable at the $ 655 range.

It is quite amazing that the bitcoin price now is the same as 1, 7 and 30 days ago, the price difference is less than 2%.
but i think that is too good in respect of bitcoin. because we can see that many people were doubting that the price of bitcoin will fall down below 400$ after halving. but it keep its price so stable hanging between 640$ and 680$.
i agree with you that bitcoin stable hanging between 640$ & 680$ and i hope bitcoin will be going to start rise up its very much faster in few months .

The bitcoin price will stay around $650 for a few more weeks or even months. The next stop is $800.

the current price is on a downward trend, I think we will stay at $600 for the downward trend. after that I do not know, for sure prices will not fall very far, because it would be fucking for miners.

Your prediction is quite right. The bitcoin price dropped from $650 to $540 in the last seven days.

Nope! It is all wrong! Bitcoin will be more and more popular. This "mistakes" are normal problems for all BIG projects. In next two - three years we can expect just one BIG BOOM, an belive me, everyone will forget about this "experimental" mistakes!

I think the bitcoin could trade between $550 to $650 in the next few months. It will recover from the hack soon.

the price is already recovering. i am already happy if we get to stay above the $600 price level again. at least this volatility gives traders the opportunity to trade against the volatility. there are some good profits to be made.
605  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would the bitfinex ''hack'' be the trigger of the next major rally? on: August 04, 2016, 12:42:56 PM
the price reaching an all time high of around $1200 in 2013, and the massive drop to below $200 in 2015, are from a different category. don't think there is much to compare here.
606  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: August 04, 2016, 12:35:08 PM
No one know what will happen next but if some bad problem happen to bitcoin like what happen to bitfinex lately it will affect the price of bitcoin decrease I wish I would not see any problem again soon , to make it steady going up.

i am already used to this drama. everytime the price happens to go up, then something very bad happens which causes the price to go down significantly. some times it feels to me that everything is staged in order to get the price to go down again. this always happens when the price is about to break through. coincidence? i don't think so.
607  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITFINEX crashed, bitcoin price falls. Will it recover? on: August 04, 2016, 11:04:27 AM
Depends on whether the hacker has stronger hands than the people who lost their BTC. This nothing compared to gox.

the "hacker" can't do anything other than to let his coins sleep for a very long time as all eyes are pointed at which way they go. he will most likely split all the coins in small pieces and run them through a mixer many times till the coins become somewhat clean and distract the attention away from the thief.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Drop, Real Reasons? on: August 03, 2016, 03:01:00 PM
The hack of bitfinex is a major drawback for bitcoiners but there are even more reasons that the price is falling so rapidly. Till yesterday, the price was dropping by $10 and it's suddenly $70-$80 lower and it reached $490 yesterday night. The panic has caused the price drop.

it's indeed a very disappointing moment that once again a major exchange got hacked. the confidence in bitcoin exchanges was already low, but with this it reached an even deeper low. it's a shame that such a large exchange gets hacked and bitcoin is receiving the beatings. as always, it's the people that are messing up, and not bitcoin. i wish the average joe would also understand this.
609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: August 03, 2016, 02:51:15 PM
The best investment option involving Bitcoin is.... Bitcoin itself. Bitcoin was originally intended to be a currency. But nowadays, it is mostly behaving as an investment asset. And I would advice every one to stay out of the other Bitcoin-linked investment options, such as crypto-stocks. Most of these schemes are ponzis, run by conmen.
Well, investment in bitcoin indeed very good, but you'd better wait for the right time to buy a bitcoin, because if not, it will count against their own investments, so maybe you have to wait for the price to be low. besides, altcoin also be a good option for investment, because so many altcoin new, promising, like ETC
currently altcoin is a good investment, the potential benefit is greater than the investment in bitcoin or other investments.
but you should still be careful when choosing altcoin, because there are some altcoin also ended with the scam.

people "investing" their money into altcoins must accept the risk of possibly losing the biggest part of their money with altcoins. putting money in altcoins can be seen as gambling. you just need luck.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITFINEX crashed, bitcoin price falls. Will it recover? on: August 03, 2016, 02:37:44 PM
Nearly 120,000 bitcoins stolen. Stuff like this happening does not instill confidence in bitcoin. I worry about the future of bitcoin. Seriously thinking of selling mine.

so far there has been no statement from bitfinex regarding how many coins they have lost. don't believe everything you read online. people are out to spread as much fud as possible to get people to start panic selling like there is no tomorrow. just keep holding your coins. whalew want you to sell them. don't fall for it.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise? on: August 03, 2016, 02:28:44 PM
It's already too late to sell. You should have sold at +$450. Currently you're better off holding your coins firmly. The price will go up again. There is no reason for the price to go down.

Why no reason for price to go down? it's already went down 50 usd..

I meant with there is no reason why the price is going down, that there is no bad news. The sentiment was great. The price is dumped down by large traders that want to manipulate the market and to shake off weak hands.
i think there is just a panic selling and nothing else.  i think the people just worried about the fall down and just to avoid a great lost they start selling bitcoin, but i think that is not just p permanent fall down and the price will very soon recover its position, there i think if some is interested to invest in bitcoin i think that is the ideal position to buy bitcoin in such a low price because the price is going to raise again very soon.

people are indeed worried, but they only see the current price drop as something bad. instead of always looking at things from a negative point, you can also see these lower prices as a great opportunity to start buying some coins.
612  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long you in bitcoin world? on: August 03, 2016, 11:52:02 AM
more than 2 years now. i really don't care about the negativity as i know bitcoin itself is a technology that has never been harmed. all the negativity comes from exchanges messing up big time. i also don't care about the negativity spreaded by the media to discredit bitcoin. i keep holding my coins as a boss, and in the meantime i am making money whilst trading. win win for me.
613  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: August 03, 2016, 11:20:46 AM
It is PANIC SELLING now, the price of bitcoin keep going down and i think many people sell all their bitcoin and makes bitcoins' price become worst.

Current trend is going down and we lost a lot in price, but in can recover so quickly at the moment so much selling pressure, people just selling without any reason and some good news can get back to previous level around $650 again.
The reason under the dump at bitcoin price were connected to the last hackers attack at bitfinex, they lose 120k bitcoins, yesterday, the market reacted or the hacker just dump some coins to take pleasure with them.

stop spreading fud. there is no statement about how many coins there are stolen. if it was known that bitfinex lost that many coins, then we would be deep below the $500 price level, and maybe even below $400.
614  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: August 03, 2016, 11:07:06 AM
Sometimes I put all my money in bitcoin when i found perfect site for invest and sometimes i put 25% from all my money. But now I stooped to buy bitcoins with own money and if i will buy i will nit spend all money in bitcoin.

no matter how good a certain investment may seem, it's never a good idea to use all your money for investment purposes. what if the investment you picked turns out to be a very bad one? then you don't have any money left... stick to 50% for investments. not more than that. don't play with money you need in your personal life.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 03, 2016, 10:58:17 AM
Saving money maybe the most stupidest way  to lose your money. Why? Because even if your money is inan bank savings account every year you lose in Inflation your money depreciates its value and you don' t know it. So maybe investing it is a better choice.

saving money as in having money aside for when you need it is a good option. but if you save money just for the purpose of earning interest, then it's not a good idea. to avoid seeing your fiat holdings decrease in value people should always choose to invest a part of their wealth. that's the only way how you can avoid seeing the value of your wealth turn into hot air.
616  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: August 03, 2016, 10:37:47 AM
The major obstacle I see is the adoption of technology. Many newbies are losing their coins and that’s not good for the network in the long run although it increases price of bitcoins in circulation. Another thing I would like to bring on board is government’s approach toward bitcoin. If we could not do something to prevent it from being criminal’s currency then not only governments but also rest of the world will not have good point of view towards us. We can always deal with small issues like price fall (just like current one) as we have dealt with it before this.

The bitcoin is still very risky. Not only newbies are losing their bitcoin, but also big exchanges like Bitfinex.

This is not really bitcoins problem here. Of course it can be hacked as long as it is in the internet. There are many who will try to do it but there are ways to prevent it. Bitfinex lost that, the security that they can give for their supporters.
Bitfinex halted trading after discovering a security breach, which included taking its website offline and pausing all withdrawals and deposits and in response, bitcoin prices fell roughly 20% lower.

It seems quite risky to store the bitcoin in the exchanges. It is better to withdraw after the trading.

it doesn't only seem risky to use exchanges to store your coins at, but it has also proven that it's just a stupid thing to do after so many exchange got "hacked" and such. so yes, if you're done trading for the day, then immediately withdraw your coins to your pc wallet. i always withdraw my coins after my trading session. better safe than sorry.
617  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITFINEX crashed, bitcoin price falls. Will it recover? on: August 03, 2016, 09:57:13 AM
probably the same as the case mtgox, when prices are falling. it will surely recover, but I do not know how long it takes, I hope that rapid rise, not too long at low prices.

the most important thing is the fact of how many coins there are stolen. if it's a relatively low number of below 1000btc, then i am sure the market will go up again. but if there are like 20,000-50,000btc stolen, then i think we won't see the price recover any time soon. let's wait for more statements from bitfinex.
618  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price fall below $600? on: August 03, 2016, 09:44:50 AM
i just bought back some coins back at $580 that i have sold at $750 in june. i will buy back some more coins if the price happens to drop down further. i think we'll see the price drop to $550 - $560 before we can look upwards again.

That's the way to multiply your bitcoins!  I couldn't pull the trigger at $750... I choked.  I am only cut out to hodl Wink

holding your coins is great of course, but in the currently repetitive market the price goes exactly there where i put my focus on. the lowest i managed to buy was $510 hours ago. i missed the sub $500 prices as it was over $500 again in a matter of seconds.
619  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: August 02, 2016, 07:02:34 PM
Today, the course down a little bit and it's a good opportunity to buy bitcoin. Already in the fall can be expected to increase the rate. Of course this does not mean that the course will continue to grow at a breakneck pace. Therefore, an investment in the future.

the price is down like $40 today. i think many people have been waiting for such a moment to enter the market again. don't think it will go much lower than the current price that sits just over $570 right now. don't wait and start buying now.
620  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k???? on: August 02, 2016, 06:50:26 PM
Bitcoin have problems with 700$ , price will rise very slowly with adoption ..
It will take years for something that people expecting right now.

people here have been spoiled too much. other than that, what reason can their insanely high price predictions be based on? some say $1000 for this year, which i think won't happen, but ok. some even up the bar to $2000 to happen this year... even more funny is the fact that they really believe it will happen. lol...

Seriously Its not good to speculate this much amount, Even with the effect of the halving, this years price won't grow that much, not even in two years, it needs more and more user and buyer so that price would jump, but the problem is that people are buying it and selling it very early, and I think the effect of that is not good.

well, the majority of the people here aren't real holders. they buy themselves some coins and look to sell them as soon as they see the price went up like 10-20%. some people even panic sell their coins when they see the price goes down. we just have to accept this. a lot people look at bitcoin as being a short term investment. that has to change.
