341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back! $700 on: September 09, 2016, 03:10:28 PM
Now again we will go back to 700 and it will drop down, getting little tired of that hoping it to stay 700+ now!!
Also it went from 570 to 620 pretty fast wondering what causes this are people buying alot and not selling alot right now or is it just because of manipulators and investors.

manipulation and volatility are part of bitcoin since the very beginning. if you're a trader you won't complain with this fact. i take every bit of volatility very seriously when it comes to trading. if you do that all year, then you'll end up making great profits.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 09, 2016, 02:22:31 PM
Yeah I would diversify funds and invest in both!
Probably something like 75% gold 25% Bitcoin

Gold is guaranteed to hold value and go up a bit
Bitcoin has the potential to go up but is risky so I would invest less
but a combination of both seems pretty solid

bitcoin has a much better long term profit potential than gold. especially if bitcoin lives up to what realistically is possible. that's why for me bitcoin is the only investment. long term holding combined with trading is the best option.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: September 09, 2016, 02:17:03 PM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?
Depend on how much that you have and how much you willing to invest? You can start trading, gambling or invest on gambling sites as bankroll. Once again, if you have about 5-10btc just try as bankroll, if less than 1btc go trading, if less than 0.5 btc better to earn more by gambling in sports betting.

gambling is what you at all times should avoid. investing in the bankroll of a trusted gambling site can be a decent investment to a certain extend, but when whales empty the bankroll of the casino, then it's done with your investment. trading is at all times the best option.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: September 09, 2016, 01:34:57 PM
Many governments tried to stop bitcoin and they failed. they realised  just like internet, bitcoin cannot be stopped. I hope bitcoin will be accepted by major companies worldwide in future

i think governments know that bitcoin can't be stopped, which is exactly why they try to make professional use of bitcoin for companies as difficult as possible with all kinds of nonsense policies. people at home like me and you will always be able to use bitcoin.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: September 09, 2016, 01:08:07 PM
Since bitcoin is an internet currency that can be turn into a actual money. And Bitcoin too is known on Government but still government can't observe bitcoin that good. So I'm thinking if Bitcoin has tax??

Edit:
Now I know that bitcoin doesn't have tax but Transaction does..
Where do these Tax go?Government? And what kind of tax is it??

Bitcoin actually don't have any deduction about in tax. Only charge fee for every transaction. If ever bitcoin have tax I think that time bitcoin maybe control by the government.

True, theres no tax on bitcoin since its decentralized and doesnt controlled by anyone. You have a point if it do have a tax maybe its already controlled  by the government. Transaction fees are there but its just small even if you intend to transfer huge amounts but the transfer fee is the same.

bitcoin being decentralized has nothing to do with whether or not you have to pay tax. you as individual are responsible for your tax declarations. if you declare that you own a certain amount of bitcoin, then you have to pay tax over your coins. it's that simple.
346  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitfinex back on track leading the market. on: September 09, 2016, 11:21:23 AM
Bitfinex regained trust? Of who? Because exchange compromised in such manner won't gain my trust ever again.
And I didn't hear of any refunds to theirs users (apart from that shady proposal - "we will give you bitfinex's tokens).

Have they actually refunded money to anyone? It should be first requirement for them to continue existence as an exchange.

traders that were already active there and chinese traders operating from okcoin and huobi. regarding the refunding part, not really. bitfinex has bought 1% of the debt tokens they issued to all victims. they see it as something they did back for the people, but it doesn't even make a positive dent in the overal damage.
347  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: September 08, 2016, 03:07:40 PM
yes I do use multiple wallets right now because its just  bit safer than normal, if you spread your bitcoins in different wallets its safer so if you wallet get hacked they will only steal a small amount of bitcoins.
Its just a sort of security measurement to be sure your bitcoins are secure and safe.

if a hacker steals your wallet file and manages to access your coins, then it means that you secured your wallet file with a weak password, or maybe you didn't had a password at all. always make sure you use long passwords with random symbols to secure your wallet files. that way a hacker won't be able to steal your coins when they have your wallet files.

what ever password you put, if the hacker hack your computer and steal the passphrase of your desktop wallet then you can do nothing, So it is upto you that where you keep your wallet,

I am using both desktop wallet and online web wallet, desktop wallet for investment that i use it only for storing my Bitcoins for future expenses, and i keep that wallet in a pendrive and when ever i am in need i use it on clean computer and as soon as my work finish i just uninstall after taking backup in pendrive. That way i am secure

Web wallet i am using for my daily work as i am using coinbase and their security level is very good, as soon as anyone uses my wallet on new ip they will first check with sms code and after that email confirmation, so in this two way i am fully secure.

if you have a clean (virus/malware free) pc, and you then have set a secure password for your wallet file, then no hacker will be able to steal your coins if your pc gets infected afterwards.

349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: September 08, 2016, 02:15:24 PM
i think best investment is that you can buy bitcoin in huge amount as long term investment and wait until for high price then i am sure you will get a big profit from bitcoin in the future there maximum are holding bitcoin for the future they surely know that bitcoin will be more increase its price to higher amount in the near future.

that is the laziest way of doing it and there is always a big risk of price drop so the big losses that come with it.

for example if price tobuy is 601 and it goes down to 600 if you have 1 bitcoin you will lose $1 but if you have 1000 then you will also lose a big amount of $1000 so the bigger risk.

holding bitcoin might be "lazy" according to you, but it's probably the safest form of investing in bitcoin. especially for people without any skills. and if the price goes down, you won't lose anything if you not sell at a loss. if you keep holding your coins without panicking, you will be just fine.
350  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitfinex back on track leading the market. on: September 08, 2016, 01:41:36 PM
i think there is have two option
1. for them get trust back from bitcoin user
2. it's a little weird as we know in the history, bitfinex it's very rarely leads the market price.

bitfinex was, and still is the leading usd exchange in trading volumes. but i meant weird in the way that after such a ridiculous "hack", that traders still see it as an exchange of importance. also, if their volume is real and not artificially kept high, then it means that traders have most likely given that exchange a second chance, or they are buying up coins to withdraw them from that exchange.
351  Other / Off-topic / Re: I spent all my saving on bitcoin, now i am broke on: September 08, 2016, 01:33:24 PM
yeah bitcoin is still really new in my opinion and i think it is going to grow a lot in the near future, i hope i will have a lot of money out of bitcoins

Bitcoin is money.

i can't agree more with you about the fact that bitcoin is indeed money, but that's not the case for a lot people here. they only start to see money as soon as they cash out their coins. these people treat bitcoin only as a tool that allows them to earn money, and that's it.
352  Economy / Speculation / bitfinex back on track leading the market. on: September 08, 2016, 01:00:56 PM
it's weird, but somehow bitfinex is gaining back trust in the market as once again it started initiating a pump where china followed with a massive green candle. take a look at the charts and you will know what i am talking about.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WORST decision about BTC on: September 08, 2016, 12:52:53 PM
My worst mistake was spending all Bitcoins that I had then. I had 3 BTC that I won on gambling and I've spent it all. That was stupid and so far I didn't make to collect this sum again.  Sad

spent it in what way? lost it again with gambling, or did you spent it on things you have bought? that's a significant difference. if you lost them with gambling, then it's sad of course, but totally your own fault. at least you know that you are better off to never gamble again.
354  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: September 08, 2016, 12:33:56 PM
why not? I will happy if i must get mt salary in bitcoin
its will easier to exchange it to my local currency
also bitcoin can used at my country to buy at shop etc

what's the point of accepting bitcoin as your salary when you convert it to your local currency? the best is to just stick to a percentage as 10% that you receive in bitcoin. more isn't needed. i have been buying $100-$200 worth of bitcoin for more than a year. and that is enough. no need to wait for the time your employer pays you in bitcoin. you can use a small part of your monthly salary already to buy bitcoin.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Worldwide! on: September 08, 2016, 12:27:56 PM
Yes right bitcoin could become popular world wide but not in every country because many countries banned bitcoin and in such country even 10% of the population will not know about bitcoin.

countries banning bitcoin doesn't mean people won't be able to use their coins. people will always use bitcoin and find ways to cash out or buy themselves some coins. that being said, only a few countries somewhat banned bitcoin, so i am not sure how you come up with "many countries banned bitcoin".
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: September 08, 2016, 12:17:15 PM
both ,but prefer gold
i use bitcoin only if I gamble ..
and it was free bitcoin, never buy
I would go with Bitcoin all day because that is what I know and what I am familiar with, I do not know much about gold.
It would just not be smart for me to invest in gold.

You can invest some part of your money in gold, simply buy and keep it safe in your locker and in future when you see higher price you can sell it and gain good profits.

it's too much hassle to go and buy gold and store it in your safe. especially if you buy high quality gold bars from certain companies. they charge you a higher rate compared to what the market price is. also, here i need to show id and they need to make a scan of it in order to get your gold. no id, no gold.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit $3k-$4k by end of 2017 on: September 08, 2016, 12:10:34 PM
I can not argue with that because we do not know what will happen to bitcoin by the end of 2017.  All we can do right now is to speculate on what its price will going to be by the end of that year.  Every year we assumed that this will be the amount of bitcoin but it never happened.  I will just be more focus on earning and if ever that it happens I will be very happy.

the far majority of the predictions here don't come true because they are too unrealistic. i don't know why people continue to think so, but it is what it is. in this whole forum there are only a few people that have good arguments and are realistic. the rest are living in a fantasy world.
358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks $600, Bullish Indicators May Take it Higher on: September 08, 2016, 11:32:59 AM
I had bought some BTC for long term . I hope BTC will be above 1000$ in the early 2017

that's too much to expect from the price. maybe if everything goes well, that we can touch the $1000 level at the end of 2017, or else at the beginning of 2018. that gives the price enough time to build up buy support so the price won't get dumped down again in a quick fashion. remember, building up the price costs many months/years, while dumping the price down cost only a few hours.
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back! $700 on: September 08, 2016, 11:27:15 AM
Its already at $626 the current price now and its really exciting how the price will come back at more than $700, but expect also the decrease because as what we know bitcoin price is not stable. Grin

i am also excited about the current increase, but i am not going to focus on reaching the $700 price level yet. i will start doing so when the price reached at least the $680 level.
360  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: September 07, 2016, 04:57:57 PM
I do not have a real plan but I must say that the bitcoin can make you rich if you have some luck with you of course.
You just need a lot of money and time to succeed with doing this and get rich with the bitcoin.
I also do not have a plan to become rich with Bitcoin but if I get the chance to become rich with Bitcoin then of course I would take it.
But I am not hoping for it to happen, I am good with my life as it is.

if you really want to get rich, then you need to hold at least 500-1000btc. if you just have 1 or 2 coins, then you won't come anywhere. then you can only dream of getting rich.

Its not possible for a person who is part time on bitcoins to have that high amount, as his full time job will never allow him to spare more time for bitcoins so getting rich with bitcoins seems to be difficult.

that's exactly why the majority of the people here won't be rich. that being said, getting rich isn't the first thing you should think about at all in the current time. it's next to impossible for the ordinary bitcoiner. focus should be to make nice profits.
