Uysk has been given a short medical suspension by the British Boxing Board of Control : https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/28083299/oleksandr-usyk-boxing-suspension-tyson-fury/

Not sure why he got one and not Tyson given it was Fury that came off worse. This could actually work out the best for both of them as Usyk can't be stripped of the belt while suspended which means it could be on the line for the rematch which I think it should be either way. They should quickly try get the rematch scheduled and make a deal with the IBF commission so that the winner has to fight the mandatory which I think will be the winner of Dubois/Hrgovic, though I also heard that AJ will be fighting the winner of those two so who knows. There's so many belts and mandatories it's hard to keep track of them all.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 24, 2024, 06:07:48 PM
I have seen some training footage from Mike Tyson, and to be fair unless he has some serious medical conditions that makes this a hard fight, his punches looked like he was still 25 years old, and that shocked me.

Punching a bag on a camera does not mean he will be able to repeat that on the ring while being exhausted. No doubt there are still lots of power in those hands, but evaluating someone's form or fighting skill by a short video from a gym... Leave it to Ryan Garcia Cheesy I am not saying that it is going to be a walk for Jake as Mike is old, nor Mike is going to cripple Jake by the look on Mike's past. But that "punching like a young man" imho is wrong. Lets just say that Mike looks great for his age, or I would even that most of us could envy him.

Yeah. Mike probably can't go at that pace for more than 30 seconds or ever how long the video is. My main intrigue with this fight is how are they gonna start off. Are they actually gonna try knock each other out if even they can? Mike can still smash and I still think Mike could probably KO most people and I think the only chance Mike has is to get Jake out early. If he can't Jake will use his youth and stamina to pick him apart and wear him down, but maybe they might have a gentlemen's agreement to take it easy. Only time will tell.

There's some more fights announced for the undercard:

Looks like a decent mix of pros, influences and cross-over fights and the co-main of Serrano Taylor two will be worth the price alone..
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 18th MAY 2024 re-scheduled on: May 18, 2024, 11:58:40 PM
Great fight. I would give it something like 7/5 to Usyk. Fury did well to recover after the knockdown but he was saved by the ropes and the bell but won a couple of the later rounds. One of the judges giving it to Fury needs to be investigated. Even a draw would have been controversial. I'm looking forward to the rematch in October. Fury needs to go for broke in that. I thought Fury was taking the loss well until he said he thought he won and Usyk probably got some sympathy votes from the judges because of the war. Just say it was close but you were narrowly beaten by the better man and you'll look to avenge the loss in the rematch. He would have gained so many fans back if he said something like that.

Let's get ready to rumble!
Never seen fury so hurt, he even did well to recover because those sets of punches could have knocked out any regular boxer.

I think when Wilder knocked him down was a worse knockdown. Fury was spark out for a few seconds but came back from the dead.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 18th MAY 2024 re-scheduled on: May 16, 2024, 10:31:36 PM
Both the open workouts and the press conference today were pretty boring. Tyson choose not to even look at Usyk during the face off today. Not sure why as that's usually seen as sign of weakness.

It is just me or Fury looks slim in this fight? Or maybe he just shave his beard that's why he look slim?
Tyson Fury definitely looks trim in his training photos that were released recently and he looked both focused and determined but if he stands any chance to beat a fully fit Usyk he will have to be at his 100% best because nothing else will do. Also, I think the same applies to Usyk too because if he stands any chance of beating a fully fit Fury he will have to be at his 100% best.

If both are 100% at their best it might have to be settled by the scorecard judges.

He's lost a lot of weight for sure, but I don't know whether that's the right plan for him. He should try use that extra weight to his advantage by weighing down Usyk in the clinch, unless he's burnt it off doing cardio trying to get his stamina up which he will need as Usyk can go the full distance with ease and even ups the pace throwing more punches in the last rounds.

It was interesting to see the way Usyk reacted after the headbutting incident on a member of his team. He was literally focused on nothing except the fight and he does not like to get involved with trash-talking or creating a scene to attract attention on himself. I think both boxers are way beyond the psychological game stage, they just want to get in the ring and try to win.

Uysk and his team are consummate professionals and they do not react to all the shenanigans. Tyson now knows he can't get in Usyk's head so he's changed up his gameplan. He's also started hyping him up saying he going to be his hardest opponent and how much he respects him, but I only think he's saying this stuff cos if he loses it looks bad on him.

The "Grand Arrivals" part of promo is now streaming live: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcaNEk1TVuE

They're just going through the undercard one by one so far.

John Fury disgustingly headbutted a young lad in Usyk's camp yesterday completely unprovoked:

The Saudi's should grow some balls and send him home. He wouldn't have done that in the UK or he'd be straight back to prison.

Only a week to go now. Just saw there's some events announced on Dazn schedule:

Tuesday 14th Grand Arrivals: https://www.dazn.com/en-GB/home/5hk4br58lvbctme995e85p7qq
Wednesday 15th Open Workouts: https://www.dazn.com/en-GB/home/7hab40wcmxj4vp3z8qxpcpr4l
Thursday 16th Press Conference:  https://www.dazn.com/en-GB/home/5jbjkttm7atng2wqn4zq0kpvj
Friday 17th Weigh in: https://www.dazn.com/en-GB/home/51z03iktxjyqf7g3v00q4m8yo

And the 18th is obviously the fight. They've definitely left it late to promote this but at least it looks like it'll be a busy week starting Tuesday. I think all of the above apart from the fight obviously will be live to stream on the Dazn youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@DAZNBoxing
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 10, 2024, 06:49:17 PM
I think not. The only reason I see why he accepted this fight (except money), was his wish to punish that cocky kid named Jake. As soon as he beats him, he will get back to his retirement. If he really wanted to fight so badly, he would have called out other fighters himself or accepted offers. I think Jake Paul was not the only one who challenged Mike.

This is probably gonna be life changing money for Tyson and I expect the offer was too good to refuse.

My friend invited me to this fight and I was honestly considering it.  For old folks like me, a Mike Tyson fight is pretty much the pinnacle of sporting excellence.  Granted this is a far cry from that, but nostalgia is strong.  Personally though, I'm just as excited to watch this on TV like I used to watch the old Tyson fights back in the day.  I expect Netflix to spare no expense making it an entertaining broadcast as it breaks new ground for them as well.  So while I may not be there (we'll see), it sure seems like this will be an event to remember, or at least I hope it will be.

I don't think I'm quite looking forward to it as much as I did as a kid with Tyson in his prime, but I am a fan of cross-over or even gimmick fights, just as long as they're legit and this one at least seems to have been sanctioned as a proper fight now. There's also a bit of jeopardy here. Has Jake bitten off more than he can chew? One of them could be really embarrassed by an early KO. Jake can't really win here in my opinion though. If Jake wins then he's beaten a 60-year old. If he loses then he's been beaten by one  Grin

Ho boy, if you have the chance to see that fight live, don't miss it because we all know this will be the last fight from Mike Tyson and the last opportunity to see him fighting.

I was looking at the ticket price, and it will be from $450 to $3241... i mean, if you are going to watch it from the last row for $450 i would better recommend watching it at home, but if you have the chance to get a nice seat close to the ring, then it totally worth it to be there.

Boxing events in person can be underwhelming. Often you can't see what's going on and it's a much better experience at home right in the action. You also don't have a load of rowdy dickheads throwing beer about and looking for a fight. I haven't been to a single boxing event there wasn't at least one fight in the stands.

I thought this Usyk's message to Tyson was pretty funny: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/LvBGCEHnUdM

Did Usyk get in Tyson's head with that or was Fury just confused?  Grin.

This has all the signs of being a very close fight because of the excellent records both boxers accumulated over the years. I really hope it plays out in a very entertaining way.

There should be enough adrenalin flowing through their veins to ensure neither gets knocked out even one or both gets knocked down for a less than 10 seconds if they get caught out by a surprise punch. I think most commentators and analysts as well as the ordinary person probably thinks this will go the distance.

I agree, but I think it probably will go the distance. Usyk doesn't knock many people out and Tyson doesn't get knocked down easily (though lets ignore that last fight  Grin). I also don't have much faith in the judges. The Saudi's seem to be quite biased towards Fury so I hope Usyk gets a fair shot and their relationship with Fury doesn't cloud their judgement. If it's close I can see a draw especially since it's a two fight deal but if Usyk is dominating and Fury wins or it's a draw there will be outrage.

It's hard to predict for sure, which on paper should make the fight more exciting, I just hope it isn't boring. I think Uysk will give a boxing masterclass which can either be exciting or dull. Fury has the potential to KO him but he'd need to be the first to do so. Tyson could play dirty if he gets frustrated which will add some spice to the fight.

^ I understand why they rushed it. That manufacturing plant wasn’t cheap and the amount of people willing to pay a ridiculous premium has never been higher. Sure, he could have waited until the summer of 2025 to release a finished product and start selling them en masse for $60K, but why when he can rush them out now for $120K to rich people while he works out the bugs.

Well they probably needed to make up for the slump in revenue and to try please shareholders who've been holding out for something, but releasing a vehicle with a lot of faults is bad for branding and obviously also business. Here's hoping that something serious doesn't happen due to a fault because that would be pretty devastating on numerous fronts. I think Tesla was lucky with the stuck pedal issue. Had that lead to someone dying it would have been a different story. I'm sure everything will be ironed out but it is going to be interesting to see how well the vehicles hold up and if they start to rust or fall apart. I'd still love one but only if they iron all the issues out, but it's probably moot anyway given I'd be surprised if they ever release it in the UK. The UK tour is currently underway:

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: May 07, 2024, 05:32:07 PM
Unfortunately, Artur Beterbiev is once again injured and this fight will be postponed. The rest of the card, which is the 5 v 5 Matchroom vs Queensberry event will still go on. It is still a good card headlined by Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang but its still a disappointment that one of the most anticipated fights in recent history will not be happening.

Beterbiev is no stranger to injury. Many of his fights have been postponed due to injury. This is why he has so few fights for a 39 year old.

I've just read the news. What a bummer.
But yeah, the Wilder Vs Zhang is a good fight on its own to be elevated to the main event. To be fair, it seemed a bit odd that it was on the undercard.

I read that the injury will put Artur off till at least September, which is a long time. He needs time for the knee to heal properly, rehabilitation, and another preparation camp.
This could mean we might not see the fight until very late in the year.

If the fight is indeed "postponed", as the media report (and not just cancelled), then I don't think Bivol would be allowed to fight anyone else before then. The whole purpose of it is for the winner to "take it all", so if Bivol was to fight someone else and lost, he wouldn't be putting anything on the line.

It's still a great card even without that fight and yeah Wilder v Zhang is a headliner in its own right. To be honest, I think that's the fight I'm looking forward to the most.

I also just heard of this news. The skeptical me sometimes is thinking that these injuries are tactics to make their training longer because they are not ready for the fight. I have always speculated this on Tyson Fury.

Artur Beterbiev has ruptured his meniscus and requires surgery. Doubt he's gonna go to that length to avoid a fight. Injuries do happen from time to time even though some fighters do use any excuse they can to stall a fight I don't think this is one of them.

They have finally started the promo at least Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk Official Documentary: The Ring of Fire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJVW62rC470

(...)
He said he took it serious both before and after the fight, but we all know we can't believe what he says given he lies so much, but there's also the possibility that he's just not as good as we thought he was. I guess this Usyk fight really is going to be the litmus test because there's no sleepwalking into this fight out of shape as Usyk will dismantle him and if Tyson loses then he's lost to a 'jumped up middleweight' in his own words.

Does he lie a lot though? I always considered Fury to be one of the most honest in the boxing world and speaking his mind. The fact that he wasn't making any excuses after the Ngannou fight somewhat proves that.

Tyson lies more than he tells the truth. Usually if he says something I tend to believe the opposite. Just google Tyson Fury lies and you'll see an awful lot.

https://www.sportbible.com/boxing/tyson-fury-boxing-lies-interview-20221110

One of the more recent ones was him lying about him starting camp already and that Sugar Hill had flown over that day to start training him. He hadn't. He'd flown over to train another fighter and was just taking advantage of that fact to make out like he was in camp already when he wasn't: https://www.reddit.com/r/Boxing/comments/11z0ju6/sugarhill_steward_confirmed_to_boxingkingmedia_he/

Regardless of the number of judges they have at ringside when the fight eventually takes place, what are the chances of there being a huge row if the fight were to go the distance? We all already know in that scenario the blame of the outcome will be put on the judges because the result will inevitably be contested and will be a controversial one.

For those reasons I really hope the fight ends before getting to the judges scoring.

There are rematch clauses involved therefore Fury and Usyk are expected to have a minimum of two fights and probably a maximum of three and it would be better for there to be a winner in each fight before the judges scorecard is involved.

I got an email from Tesla stating the trucks will be on display in Europe soon, but it's probably just more of a publicity thing as it'll probably be a long time if ever if they go on sale over here, but hopefully some questions get asked and answered about their road legality or the likelihood of them ever being released in Europe: https://www.tesla.com/en_gb/cyber-odyssey?redirect=no&utm_locale=en-GB&utm_campaign=news_and_events_-_emea&utm_content=11_-_launches&utm_medium=email&utm_source=sendgrid.com&utm_term=cybertruck_tour_announcement

I’m told that the issue with the frunk on the Cybertruck potentially chopping off people’s fingers when closing has been solved and the fix is rolling out with an update now (2024.14.3). 13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 02, 2024, 09:51:39 AM
Turns out this will become a professional fight and it will go into each fighters professional career results as well, I did not expected this because it is 100% obvious that it is an exhibition match and nothing more. They are doing this only for the money and nothing more. I get that some fans will want to see something serious, because it has the potential to be a serious fight but to be fair I am definitely certain that we are not going to get a serious fight here, one of them is a youtubers brother and the other is a 50+ year old retired boxer, result shouldn't really matter here.

In any case, there are things that is required when it is professional fight, like medical expert team ready with all the gadgets, so that makes me feel better about this fight for sure.

Only time will tell if it's an exhibition or not but it will be obvious once the fight starts whether it is or not.

Why nobody is discussing that the fight is going to be as a heavyweight fight? Cheesy When Jake was always a cruiserweight. Even though on the paper that can be only few kg difference, on the fight day, the difference might be +10kg. Jake will be having a debut as a heavyweight (already a soil for excuse if he looses Cheesy), so stamina factor might not be so obvious on Jakes side.

No, it's a big difference in weight, so he will be at a disadvantage here but maybe he will try to go as heavy as he can. But remember Mike Tyson is not that big though, he  can make this fight around 200'ish pounds so that is good enough for Jake Paul to at least make 190++ pounds.

Yes, that's what I'm seeing here, gas tank of Mike Tyson is no longer that deep, even if he trains a lot here, he will still be a at disadvantage because of his age. So not sure how Jake Paul can take advantage of that. Maybe he will try to tire Mike Tyson in the first 5 rounds.

Mike will probably try get an early KO as I think that's the only way he wins here. Mike needs to use his superior boxing skills and experience to his advantage because the longer the fight goes on the better for Jake as he can use his youth and energy to just take him down like a wounded animal.

If we speak about muscles, then for a person who has bern training for a long part of his life it isnt hard to maintain them in good shape. Muscles have memory. On the other hand, pile of muscles gives some advantage in boxing, but they are not game changers. But the body in general and reflex are from being in peak form. Anyway, this fight is not about whl wins, but imho it is about one boxer meets legend, other returns in the ring and show that what battle pensioner is capable of, spectators get fun, investors money.

Mere muscles don't mean anything without technique and cardio, otherwise we'd see all bodybuilders in the sport and dominating. It can even be a disadvantage because more muscles also means you require more oxygen to them and that means you can gas out and tire easier.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 18th MAY 2024 re-scheduled on: May 02, 2024, 09:43:46 AM
One of the things Wilder complained about during their trilogy was that Fury was lean on to him and by using his weight he forced Wilder to use energy to try to push back. I am unsure how Usyk would handle that tactic if it were employed by Fury but he was successful when he shrugged off Joshua when he was clinging on in their fights.

And with his size, it can also be used as a tool, in the Wilder fight, Fury has a weight advantage of 42 lbs, and if he weight this much here, it will be clearly like a CW in Usyk, fighting a super Heavyweight and it will illustrate in this fight as he will used all that to push Usyk and put him in the corner.

To be fair that's a common tactic in boxing. Not only does it give the boxer a breather but it drains your opponent of energy as they have to bare their weight. Fury tried doing it to Ngannou but Francis was too heavy/strong and it backfired. Tyson will 100% use this against Usyk given he's the taller and heavier man, but I expect Tyson will play dirty in other ways like low blows and elbows, especially if it's clear he is losing.

His current physical condition seems to be questionable. It does look as though he has lost  lot of weight, a bit too lean and that could mean a big disadvantage because Fury does have a tendency to use his size and weight to pressure opponents by leaning in to them. You would presume it is going to help Fury will be active and fast with his fists but after his recent fights how many people think he is actually going to win?

Have you seen the pictures where it showed that Tyson Fury has presently lost much weight?

He also tends to post older photos from times he was more in shape. Don't believe anything unless it's guaranteed new photos or videos. Tyson could also be in excellent shape right this moment but be in a completely different one by the time the fight comes for better or worse. Usyk is in shape all year around and Tyson yo-yos and struggles to stay in shape.

I speculate that Tyson Fury did not go through his normal training routine against Francis Ngannou because he underestimated Francis. If he did this, we can be quite certain that Tyson Fury would have given Francis a knockout very much similar to Anthony Joshua.

On Tyson Fury's yo-yo and struggle. This is the most important fight of Tyson Fury's career, I reckon. He will be in the best muscular form for a fat boxer in his age. He might not be very muscular, however, he will also not be fat and slow for this fight.

He said he took it serious both before and after the fight, but we all know we can't believe what he says given he lies so much, but there's also the possibility that he's just not as good as we thought he was. There's a little over two weeks for the fight now as the promo hasn't even started yet nor have either parties been posting about it on socials.

Hardly anybody will believe Fury is not going to be in top shape when he enters the ring and the same goes for Usyk too. Both boxers will be looking forward to trying to make history and they can only do so if they are in peak physical condition.

I dunno. Tyson's weight seems to fluctuate widely and he has often got in the ring quite out of shape, or least with a lot of fat on. I don't suppose it matters if you get the win but I think Uysk is going to be a far more dangerous fighter than any of Tyson's last fights of Nhannou, Chisora and Whyte. Usyk is in shape all year around as well which is far better than Tyson's yo-yoing in weight and fitness. Given that this a is a two-fight deal I hope Tyson doesn't go into this thinking it doesn't matter as he can make changes and get retribution in the rematch should he lose.

6 judges really? I'm opposed to it, I must admit that there are really some outrage scorecard in some high profile fights, but having 6 judges to score? nah, I don't think it won't happen and it won't solved any. And for all we know, all this judges is as corrupt as the boxing body themselves like WBC.
It has been mentioned before but I cannot see the logic in having six judges when they already have three. If a change was to be made I think an odd numbr would be better as the chances of awarding a draw will become slightly (less) better,

I think the first proposed change was going to be 5 judges. First I've heard of six which does seem far too many. What's going to happen when the scorecards are all widely different. I do think the with the current three it does lead to far too many issues. Plenty of times the judges are split and often go against what the viewers thought.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: April 24, 2024, 10:58:20 AM
I agree that there won't be any serious type of "fight" going on, we will see the fight cut short if anything even remotely serious ends up for any of the fighters, but mine is more like unexpected punches type of thing. While we know that Mike Tyson packs a punch, meaning he could punch just once, a proper hit, like connects right to the chin, and Jake would be out cold, but I believe Jake would recover from that easily.

However, considering his age, I fear that if Jake gets lucky, not something that's easily possibly, I mean like lets assume he gets purely lucky, and punches right on the chin, Mike could have something that ruins rest of his life, just one bad punch and suddenly it's very dangerous for Mike Tyson. That's what I fear, that one punch.

If there is anyone with one punch that could alter someone's life it was, is and always will be Mike's lol.  He is a differemt person in the ring.  Obviously at his age he can't go tons of rounds but if I was Paul I wouldn't go anywhere near Mike in the first couple minutes.  Exhibition or not Mike is a killer once inside those ropes.

The problem is that he won't use that punch even if he wanted to. The fight is practically planned, it won't be what we expect. I still see a lot of expectation in something that is clearly saying the opposite
That's remain to be seen, if the fight is rigged or not. As boxing fans, we do hope that is not the case because it will really hurt Tyson's legacy. He should at least not let Jake Paul beat him and beat him bad in this fight. He has been training very hard as what we have seen in the videos already, so for me I doubt that the fight has been set up from the beginning. But as reported, with $20 million on the line, we don't know, maybe there could be some "gentleman's agreement" between the two. They have captured the fans right now, and even if Jake Paul is the favorite, there are still some of us here hoping that Tyson will show sharp and vicious as ever and then knock out Jake Paul for good.

It's not going to be rigged but it probably will end up being an exhibition or they may have some sort of behind the scenes "no headshot" rule like they seemingly did in Tyson's last exhibition, which would be pretty lame. This may be the best for Tyson but if this ends up just being a sparring session they really shouldn't bill it as anything other than that. Either way I guess there's still the great undercard fight of Serrano/Taylor rematch. I'm sure they'll get some more decent fights for the undercard too.

^^ The timing though, it's a high profile fight and Sulaiman wanted to have a test run with this big fight?

Why not test it out to some lesser known fights and see how it goes? And he could have been adding more controversies in this fight, so it doesn't make sense for the WBC president to put more fuel to the fire here.

And for sure majority of boxing fans here are not going to agree with him.

Yeah, it's silly doing it for such a high profile fight. I'm sure it would only cause more drama not less. I'm not opposed to more judges and something really needs to change with the scoring system as there's far too many robberies these days and often the judges don't seem to be watching the same fight as the viewers. Maybe they need another judge who watches the same TV feed the fans do so they can get a better look from a unique angle that neither the ref or judges can. There's also talk of implementing some sort of VAR, which I'm not sure would be great for boxing, but that additional ref who is watching the stream could maybe talk to the ring ref during the fight if he spots a foul/low blow or elbow etc.

lets all make a guess
CSW suddenly thinking about fashion.. hmm i guess he will probably want to sell custom printed shirts/hoodies as Merch for his fans to try to earn £7m

Yeah, pretty bizarre topic to post some random shit about. How he thinks he's gonna get away with this stuff when there's an army of people trawling over everything he does looking for dirt is beyond me. He really is a fool.

anyways
anyone know if he paid £1m (total £7m) to the courts by previous tuesday to avoid having his business accounts frozen.

Yes he did. I believe he paid the 1 million and then Calvin Ayre bailed him out for the rest. Craig had his assets seized by the judge so he probably couldn't have paid it even if he had the money.

Mr Justice Mellor granted the order to the value of £1.089 million, meaning Dr Wright cannot sell or reduce the value of his financial assets up to that figure.

But the judge said that Dr Wright could pay the money to the court by 4pm on Tuesday, which would allow him to avoid sharing details of his assets.

Dr Wright did not attend court, with a further hearing scheduled for April 26.

It follows Copa taking out a similar order against the computer scientist on March 27 to the value of £6 million.

Dr Wright has since paid the sum, which will be held by the court, although Mr Justice Mellor said on Friday that it was “clear” that this money had come from a third party.

Deduction derby, relegation derby, Everton finally came up on top with some good goals and a clean sheet. Not the player I preferred to see scoring but they won't care.

It probably shouldn't have bee a clean sheet though. A lot of controversy around VAR as Forest should have probably had three penalties that weren't given and two of them were handballs.

Forest's management seem to have gotten themselves into some trouble with their comments post-game:

Three extremely poor decisions - three penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept.

We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times.

NFFC will now consider its options.

But I think they have a point watching the highlights:

VAR is useless when they don't even get these calls right.

This still doesn't feel right to me. I understand that Mike Tyson is Mike Tyson and he will of course try his very best, but that dude is so old and he doesn't look that healthy, I mean the fact that he shouldn't be punched anymore is the point here, what if Mike Tyson wins or loses but ends up with an injury here?

What if just this fight alone, could end up cutting his life short or just makes it less healthy? What are we going to do about that? I believe that has to be something that could turn things sour very quickly. I hope that it's worth it, because they are putting his entire life in danger here, a very very old dude is still old no matter if they are Mike Tyson or not, and one mistake could lead to terrible life.

Money talks and I'm guessing the payday from Netflix was far too good for Tyson to turn down, even with the risks. Also, I'm not 100% sure if this will be a proper fight and more of an exhibition like Tyson's last fight against Roy Jones Jnr where they must have had a no head shot rule as it was basically just body shots only. If it is an exhibition then I hope that doesn't mean it's just a glorified sparring match, which may be the best for Tyson but does anybody really wanna see both of them hugging and dancing around a ring?
