4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll management is not a strategy. on: August 26, 2025, 10:10:01 PM
If you don't have a strategy while gambling, you will lose all your money anyway.
For a period, I gambled in a disciplined way. When I cashed out, I would buy physical gold, and in a short time, I owned hundreds of grams of gold.
If you don't deposit money into the casino again after losing, the strategy works.
That’s not bankroll management IMO, because you’re cashing out part of your bankroll to buy physical gold. Bankroll management only applies when you’re actually using it for gambling, no cash out involved yet. It’s about how you manage it, either with an aggressive or conservative method. Usually it’s done by percentage, flat betting, or some even use a martingale strategy.
5  Other / Meta / Re: Why still plagiarize when there is AI? on: August 26, 2025, 09:43:50 PM
They don’t even use AI the right way. Instead of using it for research, they let AI do the posting job, and that’s why it shows. These people also don’t really understand what they’re doing. Just because a post looks long and nice to read, they think it’s fine to post it right away, hoping it gets merits.

It’s a good thing we have reporters, because those who don’t belong in the forum should be banned. Otherwise, the forum would be flooded with AI bots spamming sections with plagiarized posts.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a way to recover the economy, effective or not? on: August 26, 2025, 01:50:00 PM
This has already been done by other countries. If you’ve noticed, some casinos here use licenses from places like Costa Rica or Malta since they’re gambling-friendly. They don’t really market to the locals but instead cater internationally. That way they can increase their revenue while keeping their own citizens from gambling.

Aside from those, there are also countries like Cambodia and Laos doing the same, so it’s not just a few.

GSW don't have a chance last year even with the healthy curry he need to get pass OKC, Denver, and they don't have a chance, GSW don't have the role players few years ago that can do a run even with the second five, last year they don't have that and if they can't have a second line-up that like that they can't compete, last year and this year is different from 5 years ago, they have klay iggy poole, and other role players, so the answer is they won't make it, unless they acquire another star player and a supporting cast for them, small ball won't work.

You seem so confident with that, but it’s the same thing people were saying back when they won a championship against the Celtics. I think the current roster is stronger now since they already have Butler. They were just unlucky that Curry got injured. Look at the record, they won the first round with Curry playing, then lost in the second because Curry was out. That’s the real story.

Nah man, this roster lacks a lot of things, and it's getting old. I mean the main guys (Curry, Butler, Green) are all 35 or older, that's old! Especially on defense getting older and slower has a HUGE impact on your game! Who else is there to actually take over a game? Kuminga maybe, but he hasn't prove himself yet. Good thing is, he is playing for a new contract so he might give it all this season, but who else on the team could make that big step? I don't really see anybody.
I’d agree with you that they’re old, but I wouldn’t agree that they don’t have a shot at the championship. Maybe I just like this team as the underdog, especially since I won my bet when they beat the Celtics for the title. It’s not only about the players, I also like their system.

If Curry hadn’t been injured and they still lost, then maybe I’d be convinced this team has no more chance. But I’ve seen how the Warriors improved when Butler arrived, they even had a winning streak. It was just bad luck that their main star got injured in the playoffs. Anyway, we still have another season, let’s see if they can make it this time.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: AI will not give you the opportunity to receive passive income. on: August 26, 2025, 09:54:12 AM
How can we even call it passive income if it’s used in gambling? You’re not the operator, you’re just trying to beat the system or the house, and that never really happens in general. So it’s just a false claim or false belief to think it’s possible.

People think AI can solve everything, but that’s misleading. It doesn’t work that way, especially in the gambling industry which has already been proven to be a consistently profitable business for the operators, not the players.

Right now Warriors is struggling so bad and it seems that their chances to reach on finals on their current roster they have is so low.

If Curry wasn’t injured, I believe they had a real chance to reach the finals. They beat OKC multiple times in the regular season, and that’s the team that ended up as champions last year. So I think the Warriors are still a strong team, especially now that Butler has spent more time with them which helps build chemistry. The only concern is health, if either Butler or Curry gets injured, their finals chances drop a lot.

As for Klay, I think it depends on the matchup. Both Dallas and the Warriors aren’t really defensive teams, so their opponents can easily score 110+ points, just like the report said.

11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks on: August 25, 2025, 09:51:49 PM
Well, that just proves all kinds of investments have risk, even the ones we’re most confident about. There’s never a guarantee it will succeed. Same with Bitcoin, people called it high risk, yet many became rich because they didn’t listen to those warnings.

At the end of the day it’s about gambling on what you believe will bring profit in the future. Those who invested in Bitcoin were high-risk takers, and look at them now, they’re enjoying the rewards of their decision. But still, don’t go all in, follow the standard rule of not putting all your eggs in one basket.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right or Wrong Way :How did you start your gambling journey and how is it going? on: August 25, 2025, 02:32:21 PM
Still gambling until now. If not for crypto, I don’t think I’d be a regular gambler. Back in the day fiat casinos required too many documents, and I didn’t want to deal with that. Good thing I found this forum as it opened up a lot of gambling options for me, starting with dice in the past, then casinos, and later sports betting. It’s become like a one-stop shop, and all the casinos I play with are the ones that already built a good reputation here.

Of course, I made a lot of mistakes when I was still immature. I started  gambling when i was still young, so it was expected I’d mess up. but all of that became part of the learning experience, and I’m thankful for it because now I’ve grown into a more responsible gambler. I still aim for profit, but at least I know the limits of what I can risk.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are at peak BTC price. on: August 25, 2025, 12:52:53 PM
I suggest selling some to enjoy your life, but don’t sell everything. Keep some Bitcoin for the future. What we’re seeing now is already a good price, but there’s still a chance for bigger gains ahead. If you still want to experience that moment when it happens, you should have something left.

It’s okay to cash out since you’ve already reached this level, which means you’ve been patient.

Reward yourself however you like, but also save a part for the future.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 25, 2025, 11:39:03 AM
And there was a lot of emotions in this match, including her families and his coach who hug her after winning this historic match. So she moves in the 2nd round and it's going to be tougher from here into the next stages. But we are going to support here no matter what.

I don’t think her next match will be tougher since her opponent could be either Cristina Bucsa or Claire Liu, and both are ranked lower than Alex Eala. But we can’t be certain Alex will win, because an underdog can always pull an upset, just like Alex did against the world No. 15.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sad days for gamblers in the Philippines. on: August 24, 2025, 11:20:45 PM

They shifted it out to another issue just the same with the missing sabungeros which is now being quite and seems that the witnesses are now being sue by the other parties, though ewallets already implemented the total removal of any casino games from their application but if the gamblers do have deeper understanding, they can simply download the casino apps and still be able to play.

Just go to the website, scan the QR code, and that’s it.. your money is in the casino wallet already. I think the ads are more of a trigger for people to gamble than the link in the e-wallet. Without them showing off how gambling can “change your life” by flaunting the money they win, people wouldn’t be as enticed.

Nothing wrong with advertisements, but they should be properly regulated. They shouldn’t just show the rewards, they should also show the risks of gambling.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2025 NBA Season on: August 24, 2025, 10:43:27 PM
Yes, this news has been circulating for quite sometime now, that I don't think that it will happen. Although there are teams are like building big 3 or super teams but the Lakers have Lebron and Luka already. Maybe this rumor really come from the desperation of Giannis specially losing in the last couple of years after their winning their championship as they didn't repeat their success.

And that's why that has been in every season that Giannis will leave and join teams like the Lakers and the Warriors. But in reality it might not be true and it's going to be very hard to make it happen.

The Warriors can’t afford Giannis right now since it would be too hard to destroy their roster just to fit him in. I think the only possible scenario is next season once Kuminga becomes a free agent, then maybe the Warriors can offer something for Giannis.

Some of these rumors are just unrealistic. Even if Giannis wants a trade, if the team can’t get him because of salary cap issues then it’s not gonna happen. Unless the Warriors are willing to send multiple players for him, because for sure Curry and Draymond are staying.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling inspiring people to work harder? on: August 24, 2025, 01:28:02 PM
It’s nice to see if that’s really happening in the real world, maybe for some people it is, but in general it’s not the case. Some even resort to stealing when they gamble regularly.

If a person gambles often and still stays responsible, it only means he can afford it, which also means he’s earning well from whatever financial source he has. But for those who work hard just to gamble, that’s not a good sign. It shows desperation to win, and they’ll keep trying until they bleed out because of their wrong impression about gambling.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Last Spin Curse.... Have You Noticed This in Slots? on: August 24, 2025, 11:50:53 AM
Then again, i've seen slot clips that came down the last spin and turned their bonus buy from shit to great.

In my experience, I hit most my biggest multiplier on slot games during the last spin. Either one big multiplier on the last spin or multiplier accumulated on the first spins then the last spin is the one that connect a win on multiplier.

I rarely encounter big win on the first or early spin, mostly just a small win if ever I have an early win on first spin but the all throughout the bonus round I never get a follow up win once I already experience early win.

We all have different experiences, which pretty much shows the result is really random. So OP’s observation is just for himself and not something that applies to all gamblers.

For me it’s a mix, and I can’t even recall anymore since the results are quite random and I could play for hours if I wanted to.
What matters in the end is that when I stop, either I lose or I win.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BC.Game - Casino & Sportsbook | Official sponsor of O'Higgins FC on: August 24, 2025, 11:08:10 AM
How’s your luck playing on BC.Game so far? For me, I had some good runs before but these past few days I’m starting to feel unlucky. Since the NBA season hasn’t started yet, I’ve been betting more on slots like Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus, also tried Crazy Time but no luck lately.

How about you guys, are you winning?
Its always like that mate, whatever make you to gamble consistently you experience sides swings, you feel that you winning more and suddenly at another you are in the losing trend again this have been the usual experience a d reality with gambling and you should not be surprised to see that happening to you right now.

Bc game use to be my favorite casino and i have hard my share of luck in few games and also experience loses too, but my conclusion about this is that, we have a certain casinos where we have higher luck than the others or timing that we hit luck in gambling.

Seems that way, but I’m not giving up. I’ve had the same experience in other casinos where I went on a losing streak, then later had a good win streak. So I’m hoping it comes back again. For today though, I busted my whole bankroll. Time to stop and restart tomorrow.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The acceptance of Bitcoin by the younger generation to me is a welcome developme on: August 23, 2025, 09:57:40 PM
I think even without hard data I’d believe this, because we see a lot of young people now becoming millionaires. With so many investment opportunities online, it’s the younger ones who are really taking advantage since they’re better in this space. That’s why the trend is clear, young generations today are more focused on investing.

And as for banks, don’t put them in the same equation when we’re talking about investment. Putting money in a bank isn’t investing, it’s just safekeeping or saving while waiting for inflation to hit. You don’t really earn. Even if some banks offer small interest, if you look at the bigger picture it’s usually equal to inflation or sometimes inflation is even higher.
