1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future Investment with Dogelon Mars (ELON) on: May 23, 2024, 02:31:29 PM
Some meme coins have profit potential but there are still risks on the part of the investors, there's a lot of meme coins in the past where investors lost a lot of money rug pulls have been associated with meme coins so if you're going to invest in this coin or another meme coin just make sure you are updated so you'll know the right time to dump your coins.

Checking on their stat on Coingecko they they are doing good and its gaining good support from the community
I think the meme coin will continue to thrive but there's still a lot of scams in this model.

2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Teofimo Lopez vs Steve Claggett WBO Super Lightweight Title - June 29 on: May 23, 2024, 01:28:56 PM
Let me play devil's advocate here, but what if Claggett upset Teo Lopez here? We all know that upsets do happen in boxing, and them thinking that they could get away by picking a non household name to win and make Teo looks good? It might back fire on them big time.
There's always a rematch clause, so Teo will take the fight seriously and take back the title but Steve will have shortlived glory and make a lot of money in return, but his bargaining power in big fights will be weak, he cannot expect a big paycheck if he faces the likes of Tank or Matias, when you are a big name in boxing every fight matters.

Quote
Or another scenario is that it's a close fight, up to the judges to score the fight and fortunately they give it to Lopez. But fight fans knows that Lopez lost that fight. So that's the problem with tune-up fight though, as the opponent has nothing to lose and will give everything he got and might pull an upset.
That again will weaken his bargaining power and his status as well, Lopez should take this fight seriously it looks easy but the stake is high if the situation is not in his favor, I hope after this, Teo will stop doing cherry pick fights he should establish his legacy and it should be continuous.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Foolhardy bets. on: May 23, 2024, 12:42:35 PM
Internet is full of reassuring stories on big gambling wins like ten/hundred -thousand-dollar, or even more, while in most cases the gamblers are losing because they are either not the experts in on gambling they try or have not relevant skills and make foolhardy bets.
Every gambler is susceptible to losing even if they are good because there is no such thing as a perfect gambler gambling is full of uncertainty and risks you cannot escape it losing is something every gambler should expect and it takes a responsible gambler to minimize these losses.

Quote
I'm sure everyone here involved into gambling has made such reckless bet  at least once in life.
I don't think any gambler experienced this once it is a common occurrence among gamblers even the best gamblers are prone to commit this mistake, this things happened to me many times, and it's one of the things that I'm watching not to happen to me again and again.

Quote
Did such bet/s change  your gambling styles? Have you become to be more eager in gambling or , on the contrary it has put a chill on you?
We have to monitor and take control of our bets if we want to gamble for many years and still have a good experience control is everything. longevity in gambling depends on how well you control yourself leading to a more disciplined bankroll.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Lotto Winner Takes Time To Claim Their Rewards, What's The Point? on: May 23, 2024, 11:30:43 AM
I will claim it right away and put it in the bank and do my planning later I can wait for 2 days but more than that is not good it is preferable to plan everything when the money is already in your hands, some people aren't ready to become multi-millionaire because they will be living a new life. a full life of uncertainties because of financial illiteracy.
This is why they took time to claim the price but they will have to decide fast because they will have a big regret in life in case something happens with the winner or the ticket.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Teofimo Lopez vs Steve Claggett WBO Super Lightweight Title - June 29 on: May 22, 2024, 05:29:39 PM

Teo already fought some big names, he doesn't really need this tune-up anymore since he can fight.  They love Teo so much, they just want him more wins maybe they are grooming for Matias?

Steve is not on his level but Steve will be more than happy to get a shot at Teo and if this fight is going to result in an upset, a lot will really be laughing at Teo. That's for sure. I look up Steve on youtube, he can actually KO opponents and knows how to entertain the crowd.

I agree Teo already is the man for beating a once pound-for-pound king in Lomachencko so why is this guy not even a mandatory challenger if this is a tune fight, does Teo need a tune fight with his status I don't think so what if he gets upset, Claggett of course will be thankful, this is a title shot.
His chances are not good, but what if the unlikely happens? Teo will end up the laughing stock some worthy opponents will give Teo a much-needed boost but decide not to take it.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lunatic gamblers who says Airdrop rewards are free funds. on: May 22, 2024, 04:18:11 PM

To me, they can utilize these so called free money by adding it up to their Bitcoin portfolio or even used it to spend on necessary things instead of dedicating to lavish it on gambling.
They've worked on it so they can do whatever they want with these airdrop rewards just like why we work in our office where we can gamble and have fun.

Instead of taking a loan and playing, why not use the airdrops that they've got, we don't know if they already have a lot on their portfolio and just want to enjoy and take a risk to double their airdrop rewards; I don't see anything wrong on this.

You should just take on where you left off.

I agree with you but in relation to the rules of the forum and that it is in some way an advertisement so I said to myself that here, it was more appropriate.

You did not get what I'm trying to point out. By putting the link, people will know that it's an old project and this is a continuation of an old project, so they will look at this link to see how your project evolved.

Your topic here is looking for volunteers, and your topic on the link below is the development of your project. However, I leave it up to you since this is just a recommendation, and this can help your visitors fully understand your project.

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs Zhilei Zhang JUNE 1 Heavyweight on: May 22, 2024, 10:15:22 AM
Anthony Joshua has resurrected his career after two heartbreaking losses to Usyk, but Wilder is still struggling to get to the top. It's only been six years, and these two are what the boxing world wants to meet in the ring. They are heading in two different directions. Joshua is headed to the top again, while Wilder is struggling to develop his career.

If Wilder loses again here, I think his career is over. Zhang is still dangerous, can take big punches, and has good technical skills, something that haunts Wilder whenever he is faced with a guy with power and good movement in the ring.
I hope Wilder can get past Zhang because after this we might see a Joshua - Wilder that we failed to see.

I understand your reluctance and I suspected that I would have this type of question about salary. I start from the principle that all work deserves payment but given that our project is to free ourselves from the system, you will therefore understand that our desire is to be remunerated with our coin.

If we start from the fact that the developer works well, he is sure to have a good income because he will be able to exchange it at the price he wants.

In this condition, the developer must of course be sure of his skills.

You are not willing to say what you want to reward yourself with vs what the developer will get?   A developer will want a % of the total coin supply, since they are building it.    And since your project will not have income/value on day one, he/she will be working for free.   You are not buying your food and paying your rent with this project; you expect a very valuable developer to?

If you believe you can tell them what they are getting in private, and they may stick around, you are wrong.   Unless they know how much they are getting and the probability of success, they won't even contact you.

I think you didn't understand or read the initial post. The project has existed since 2019.
it is already working so the developer will not build the project but will help improve it.
As for the percentage of supply, I can't say because it's an unlimited supply and we haven't made any premine for everyone to start from the same level.

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Religion. Beliefs or Choices? on: May 21, 2024, 02:49:45 PM
There are some religions that have strict views on gambling, some considering it morally wrong. However, people still gamble for various reasons.

Have you ever faced any conflicts between your religious beliefs versus gambling? How it happen and how did you handle it?

I don't have problem with my religion and my gambling habit, its putting things in the right perspective and putting more value on what should be more valueable in life, of course religion is very important its our guide to right living and how to conduct ourselves in this world.
Gambling should take a back seat when it comes to religion, I know what is my priority and gambling for me is for entertainment and I can always leave it when religion matters needs my attention.
The Cause of depression in gambling is prioritizing more than what's important in life.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversify memecoin investments? on: May 21, 2024, 11:13:10 AM
If you had to invest 1000€ into memes would you rather go for 1000€ Shiba Inu or
- 200€ Dogecoin
- 200€ Shiba Inu
- 200€ Pepe
- 200€ dogwifhat
- 200€ Bonk

?

I'm not a fan of memes because of my past losses on new memes, but if the 1000€ is for memes, I'll go for memes that have proven themselves in the market. I'll have 80% on Doge, Shiba, and PEPE and 20% on Solana-based memes. I read that some memes on Solana have potential but are still risky, as so many developers just used the meme trend to rug-pull investors.
I experienced that myself. These memes don't have a utility. Anyone can create a meme and just pump it into the market. All they need is a huge pump and a group of marketers.

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest fight of the year: Terry Crews vs Anderson Silva this June 15 on: May 21, 2024, 10:36:21 AM
Fight Cancelled I guess. The update is that Silva is fighting Sonnen Chael. So this is their trilogy from MMA not to boxing in Sao Paulo Brasil!
https://twitter.com/ChaelSonnen/status/1792355403642306667

They've been rivals back when they were in their prime. And there was a time when they fought to the end where Silva lost almost to the fifth round until Sonnen was in a triangle locked and tapped. Almost controversial bc the ref steps in too early while Sonnen seems to deny that he tapped. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpLaqnwFQEY

In fact, Chael Sonnen vs Anderson Silva can really be called a biggest (at least one of) fight of the year. Because For Sonnen, Silva is like kryptonite to Superman. Two times Sonnen was in one step to become UFC champion and two times Silva stopped him, when Sonnen was either winning or the fight was close. In addition, Sonnen really pissed lots of Brazilians with his trashtalk. So fighting Silva in Sao Paulo would be a real deal.

If it is now a Silva - Sonnen match then its time to lock this thread and create a new thread about Channel and Sonnen, it is confirmed it's an exhibition boxing match, but since this is boxing, Sonnen is at a disadvantage here since Silva has already proven himself in boxing the match is going to be held on July 15 based on this article.

Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen officially an exhibition boxing match
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has big wins and jackpot stories affected your gambling habit? on: May 20, 2024, 04:29:04 PM
I am not affected at all because I knew that there would be winners who would win big jackpots because that's the fact about gambling if you are affected, then there's an element of greed and envy about how you gamble, I already know long before I gamble that people can win huge amount of money this is the reason why you gamble because of the possibility of winning a jackpot if you are affected with this stories you will get astray and you will bet more than what you can afford to bet, so its better to stay within your limit as there will always be jackpot winners who knows tomorrow is your turn.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are confident with your picks, do you win most of the time? on: May 20, 2024, 02:10:43 PM
My results were varied. Some bets were correct, and bets that were the opposite of what I expected, like the recent Fury-Usyk fight. Analysis gives Usyk an edge, but my hunch told me that I should go for Fury, and the rest is history.

There are matches that I'm confident in my picks, but I followed other recommendations and got the best results
That's the fact of sports betting when two fighters who are almost equal and both have a chance to dominate the other.

I have come to realize that sports betting has many surprises, especially in the sport that I'm betting on, which is boxing.

16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What need to follow to play the stress free gambling game on: May 20, 2024, 01:35:20 PM

Share your experience about this facts in your gambling games,if you have any other for the stress free game. You can share the experience,it may help some new gambler.

A stress-free gambling session starts with mindset and how you play with your bankroll. You can bet small and enjoy every minute of your bets, or you can bet huge amounts right away and challenge your luck; the most important thing is your goal and mindset while playing.

How did you get that bankroll is also very important? You cannot play a stress-free session if you are playing with borrowed money, or you cannot lose the money because its important to you, its for paying the bill, even if you have the best strategy you're not going to enjoy the game.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Memecoin Gambling verses Normal Gambling - which is more profitable? on: May 19, 2024, 04:20:26 PM

So, I've brought a few questions..
1. If you are into Solana meme coins as well as; engage in normal gambling, which has been more profitable to you?
I stopped investing in meme coins while I was still gambling. I experienced being burned by investing in these meme coins. They keep promising you profit, which turns out to be a big lie. While gambling, you're not expecting profit, and your chances are in your hands, something that you cannot find on meme coins.

Quote
2. Assume you are not into any of the above, which would you prefer to get into if you are asked to choose one? And also explain why..
If you check on the altcoins board, people will discourage you from investing in meme coins, while if there are good odds on one game or fight, people will encourage you to bet, so I'll go for gambling and have a good time instead of getting disappointed from these meme coins.

Do you also have any [i
favorite losers[/i] to bet against for profit?

Yes, we have that player or team that we love to bet against and are happy that he or they loses. For me, it's a boxer. I made good money betting against friends; that boxer was Rolly Romero. I won a bet when he went against Gervonta Davis and did it again when he fought Pitbull Cruz. Who would say no to Rolly? He is strong and has a good knockout ratio.
I wish he would return so I can bet against him and hopefully lose; the feeling is gratifying when you see a guy like Romero lose a fight.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake curse strikes again, rapper loses on Fury, Usyk bet on: May 19, 2024, 12:11:43 PM

I think he should go after other sport as he is losing in boxing.

I don't think he will do that. Boxing is very tempting, and once you are a bettor of one sport, you will always be there to bet, especially if the odds are very attractive. The Usyk vs. Fury fight looks predictable because of Fury's size and experience, but we really can't tell until the fight happens.
I also lost a bet, but I don't like the lack of fairness. It's very obvious that the ref is siding with Fury. It should have been a technical knockout, or he let the fight continue; if Fury cannot defend, then it's over.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never borrow money to be able to gamble on: May 19, 2024, 11:33:28 AM
If You're taking a loan to gamble this is one of the signs that you are an irresponsible gambler, the rule and the guide that every gambler should follow is to gamble only with money that you can afford to lose and loans are money that you cannot afford to lose.
Those who gamble with money that comes from loans are pressured to win I onced gamble with money that comes from the loan and my mindset back then is to try at everymeans to double the money so I can pay the loan and have something left for me to play, so if you don't want people to mark you as addicted to gambling don't play with money that comes from loan you will surely regret it.
