241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning more casinos or gamblers? on: February 23, 2024, 02:16:41 PM
Every day, thousands of dollars enter or leave the treasury of casinos, and we always hear about a gambler who wins or loses a large sum of money.
If you check the stats on casinos there are more losers than winners the stats always favor the casino, its a fact so never dreamed of beating the casino in their own game and their own house just be satisfied with your winnings don't aim to high.

Quote
The thing that caught my attention is that the casino never loses. The money that you win is not the property of the casino, but of another player. The casino is in the process of recycling the money that the players have invested. There is always a winner and a loser, and when you bet with an amount of money, you bet against the money of all the other players. If you win, they will pay you from their money, and if someone else wins, they will pay himBTCBTC from your money.

The only time the casino loses is when players are moving to other casinos, which is why casinos should continue to market their platforms, those who can market their platform effectively like signature campaigns and banner posting are likely to lose players, and when there's big issues about the casinos that they can not resolve like a legit complaint, the players will stop playing and transfer to other casino, to avoid experiencing the same situation.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with what you can afford to lose can actually make a good investment on: February 23, 2024, 12:47:20 PM
Put this in places that if you keep those money into investment do you know how much you would gain by the end of the month or year without even you making such profits while gambling but yet we kept preaching the word "gamble with what you can afford to lose" why not some people use that same money to go into bitcoin investment or any other investment that could help their lives rather than wasting them into gambling and even secure a better winning themselves.

You are implying that people should stop gambling and instead put the money in investment ventures, I don't think people will do that, people gamble and they have reasons for that, some of them already have an investment and they need something that will entertain them, and some people prefer to gamble to have a chance to make and at the same time to have fun.

It's good to have an investment portfolio but it is also good that you have a diversion from all your business and your office work and they have the gambling platform to turn to, for a responsible guy he can have both, having an investment portfolio and playing in a casino at the same time.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: February 22, 2024, 04:27:44 PM
Who cares in what shapes AJ is, when his biggest problem is his mental preparation to a fight. What is AJ biggest achievement since he regained his title from Ruiz? Top10 WBO Pulev? Or top9 WBA Franklin? Ranked 8th in IBF Wallin? The fact that he has won 3 fights after 2 losses to Usyk, who he admited he does not understand how to beat, does not make him prepared for a hungry shark like Ngannou. Cant say that AJ is great boxing technician. Probably their fight is going to be a copy/paste of Fury vs Ngannou, despite AJ not having chin out of stone.
I agree Joshua has a mental issue he was exposed in the Ruiz fight, it's hard to accept an undisputed champion to just give up the fight just like that, a true warrior will fight even if he gets knocked out he will fight to the end and will always believe that he can beat his opponent and that he only needs one clear shot, and on Usyk fights after he losses he acted like a child very unusual for a boxer of his stature.
A weak fighter pretending to be a strong fighter will always get exposed when a much stronger fighter comes out to hurt him, come fight night Ngannou will hurt him.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: February 22, 2024, 03:49:18 PM
Everything depends on the person, if he wants to gamble to make money or have fun as long as it is money that he can afford to lose that will be fine, but if he is gambling to make money using his savings or money coming from loans and that money is a money that he should not lose, he is pressured to win and this is not fun, everything depends on the money you're using and your motivation on how you are going to use it.
So it's two things that define gambling to make money and gambling to have fun, the money where it comes from its intended to be used, and your motivation.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: February 22, 2024, 01:24:41 PM
Drugs and gambling should not go together it's your ticket to ruin your pocket and your mind, so even if you win a huge amount of money you are not going to live long enough to enjoy your money because you will be dead if you continue taking drugs, taking drugs is worth that gambling you should strongly advise your friend from taking drugs, your friend is at the worst situation of his life, better help him by doing an intervention he needs to be rehabilitated and he needs an immediate help, you will soon find your friend in the worse situation if you will not hurry.
246  Economy / Services / Re: [available] Free Website Designing Service For Campaign Managers on: February 22, 2024, 11:45:28 AM

Also, you have your own ANN where you present your services. You regularly bump it and then lock it, and that's a very bad habit. Why are you avoiding the discussion there? Isn't it better to hear the opinions of other members, after all, this is the place for discussion.
I also noticed that what's the point of offering your service in a forum if people cannot ask, there are people who do not want to private message and want to just comment on the discussion, if your offer is that good and there is no hidden agenda then be open to discuss about your offer by discussing what you offer you can show more that you missed posting if there recommendations coming from potential clients.
247  Other / Off-topic / Re: All responses to anything I say should be automatically reported to a moderator. on: February 21, 2024, 03:42:09 PM
Bro, you're still lucky that you can still post here in Bitcointalk, with all your thrash talks and insults you should have been banned, if you do this on other forums they will not only ban your account but they will also ban your IP as well, if you are not comfortable here, then go elsewhere don't waste your time to people you think are idiots and nonsense.
If you think that you are righteous and better than all the people here then don't waste your time here, there are better things for a righteous man like you to do like
going to mental institutions and talking to physicians.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gate.io - blocked funds without explanation on: February 21, 2024, 02:54:21 PM
Several years ago I used the services of gate.io. After a long break, I decided to use this exchange again. But when I transferred USDT, the exchange blocked the funds and for a month now they have not done anything, they only answer me in a ticket that they are looking into my question. My account was verified, the country, city, email and phone number have not changed. How can this issue be resolved?

Why are you complaining about it now, what have you done legally on your issue? If you still have screenshots of your transactions and pieces of evidence you should post them in the scam section Scam Accusations

This is to warn other people about your experience and for Gate.io become aware of your issues, who knows they might contact you and offer to resolve your issues.
When you are scammed or have issues on exchanges or any platform let the public become aware of it so they will be updated on the status of the platform.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wednesday had been my bad day to gamble. on: February 21, 2024, 01:39:49 PM

Anyway, some will say it is just a superstitious belief but what if it keeps on happening?
How about you? Do you have that one day when you feel like you are not even winning whatever you do or whatever game you play?
I don't believe in superstitions when it comes to gambling and I hardly notice a specific day when I am unlucky I hardly record days I am lucky or unlucky all I can remember is how much I lose and how much I won, my winnings and losses are not that huge for me to have it marked great or worse maybe I still have not lost a lot of money or won a significant amount.

Gambling is a game of unpredictability It is very unusual to mark a day as your losing day, although it is something peculiar, if Wednesday is your unlucky day then that's the day you should avoid playing, so don't play on Wednesday that's just it.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Couple won the jackpot but split soon after! on: February 21, 2024, 12:26:04 PM
You really never know the person until you marry him/her and you live under one roof, if they love each other there's no issue at all they will share the money because they will eventually marry, but it seems the woman loves for the money is stronger than her love to the man.

Since the woman's name is on the ticket and the lottery honored her as the winner, based on their terms the man can't do anything but if the woman is righteous he should give a share of the winning, it may not be half of the money.
It's going to be a long court battle if they want to settle this on the court it's better that one who they both respect do an intervention and settle it between themselves.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A famous influencer lost more than $4000 in just 2 minutes. (2) on: February 20, 2024, 04:11:46 PM

Even with a rich guy gambling, still has this regret he just made, so how much more for an average guy to take the risk of spending his hard earned money just to gamble?

Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?

That's 250k in the guy's local currency, it is huge it's a one-year earning of a minimum wage earner in that country and he lost that amount in just 2 minutes that's frustrating and by smashing the keyboard we can assume that he is frustrated and he cannot take his losses, I don't know the guy but when you're betting a huge amount of money you have to realize the two scenarios that could happen, he only think of winning so his reaction is something surprising and anger him.
The guy has 8 million followers if I am one of his followers I would unfollow him because he is a bad example of a guy who wastes money easily.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 20, 2024, 12:38:24 PM
I went to a betting shop around my locality then I bet with $10 and lose all of them so I was holding  up to $1 separately for transporting my self back to my residence, but funny how I staked with my transport money and won.
Although, I had more money on  my account that I can use for transporting my self back to my house if incase I lost the physical cash, that was why I wasn't afraid to stake with it.

That's a bad idea you could have walked home if you lost your last cash you're lucky that you did not, it's a sign that you are bad in decision-making when it comes to gambling, I have not experienced that scenario, I almost make sure that I always have cash especially when I'm away at home and I will never use my transport money to lose I will be cursing myself on my way home if ever I bet cash for transportation.

This is something that we should not make a habit of, you should quit when it's time for you to quit don't force yourself when things are not going your way.
If you keep doing this you'll end up betting your savings and you'll regret this.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Wins: Your Money Was Returned to You. on: February 20, 2024, 11:28:25 AM
There have been saying that before you win a game in gambling, you would have lost enough funds and that means you didn't win any new or extra money to yourself but the casino return part of your money which you have lost before to you.
That is 100% true you just have to calculate your losses and your winnings to get the fact that what you've lost is already greater than your winning but many of us will not realize it, we tend to forget all our losses and just remember or rejoice when we won, we don't want to accept the fact that your losses is greater than your winning.

Quote
And some will still say that what about those who have not playing gamble before and they won in their first day in gambling. Well those people newly converts to the gambling system will still dash the casino company that win again because the first time win is always to lure them to the system and making them to perpetual adoration to gamble. And I don't think someone in the gambling industry has as a win win gambling history.
You're getting it right again, for the record first-time winners in gambling will always come to try to win again and eventually lose their winnings the first time they gamble they triple their losses against their winnings because they are so motivated that they think that they are lucky and they have found a formula to win in gambling.

Quote
Or you wins are bigger than the loss. And all the experiences I have in gambling I have not seen that and also those of my friends who are gamblers have not to me that they only win and there is no loss record in their gambling history. And all the ones I have seen and known, the loses are more than the wins. And when I carefully look at the argument I also accept the assertion that what you win was part of your loss. Is that true? Make your input.

Casinos are profit-driven platforms they have a house edge if you analyze it, you'll come to the fact that the longer you play the longer your chances to lose, so if you're gambling for profit, be sure to call it a day when you make a profit, because if you continue thinking that you can still win, then that's the time that you're going to lose everything.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 19, 2024, 04:37:22 PM

In your opinion, what are the factors that brought  change in the field of gambling? What is your outlook on it in the future?

Definitely the internet, it makes things so easy to learn how to gamble and to gamble right in the comfort of your home, something that 30 years ago is unheard of , and to be anonymous, you can go out without people thinking that you are a gambler, some countries are restrictive to gambling and the advent of internet makes it possible for everyone to gamble without the prying eyes of the public.
Gambling become a multi-billion dollar industry because of the internet and so many casinos exist and new ones coming in to share a slice of this multi-billion industry.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Jermall Charlo 4th May 2024 in Las Vegas on: February 19, 2024, 02:37:34 PM
As expected Canelo preferred Jermall over Benavidez I don't think Jermall can do better than his brother although he is a better version Canelo is just too powerful and too skillful for the Charlo brothers, although Jermall cannot be considered a cherry-picked fight for me since he is also a champion, it's just Benavidez is a more challenging fight than Jermall, he can bring more to the boxing community.
The boxing experts were right when they said Benavidez is not on Canelo's radar, although Benavidez has earned his right to fight Canelo, when you are on top you have the luxury to fight who you want to fight, this is to protect your status, and this is not right.

257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Escape Debt with Gambling: A Dangerous Cycle on: February 19, 2024, 01:18:02 PM

I haven't replied to him and I am not answering his call as I feel I would be doing injustice if I say yes. I am confused and do not know what to do, what do you guys suggest?

There's nothing wrong with what you did you are also a gambler you understand how gamblers lie just to regain what they lose, don't fall for his trick, there's a lot of uncertainty in gambling, and even if he successfully cheats the casino do you think he is wise enough, casinos are complete with an anti-cheat and they will always question or they will verify your winnings to see if it comes naturally or coming from cheats.

And you have no obligation to help him with his debt unless you are a very rich guy and can shoulder other people's debt which I doubt you will, as a gambler, you should know all the warning signs of gambler issues and if you have a friend with issues shouldering his debt is not the right way, help him overcome his addiction is the right way.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why mega threads always be kept open on: February 18, 2024, 04:45:07 PM
I guess many of us here are guilty of this discussion about gambling problems and issues but sometimes it happens because of the many active posters here in the discussion you know that you have something to say about the subject and you cannot read the entire discussions to see if what you're going to post is already here so you just dropped your opinion.
If you think that the topic becomes redundant you can ask the creator of the thread or moderator to lock the thread, but you can not ask the topic to the locked if the topic happens to be sporting events like boxing, or football, because the topic is a discussion what's happening on the event, sporting events discussions are dynamic, there's always something new that will pop up on that event, leading to further discussion if you are not participating on this kind of discussion you will wonder why the topic is that long or has become a mega thread but for participants the best part of the discussion is still coming.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Taylor vs Catterall - April 27 on: February 18, 2024, 01:45:36 PM

Caterall played dirty in the fight, the point deduction may have an impact on the score but he deserves the deduction, In that fight Taylor but down but Caterall still hit him in the head, he could still play dirty in this fight because Taylor is dominating him, although the fight ended in the controversy, I consider Taylor winning the fight, Caterall never totally dominated the fight, in a championship match if the match is too close the champion will have the slight edge because the challenger should take the title away from the champion, which is to dominates him so its will not questionable in the eyes of the boxing community.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 04:23:16 PM

what do you think?. Do you believe he is right with the rigid approach to gambling?,  also should I continue convincing him  to try out something new and enjoy these great offers?.

It's his preference, some gamblers believe they are lucky in a casino they are playing so they do not need to look for another, they will only look for a new one if the casino is not giving them luck or they are having issues, but if you have limited funds it's not ideal to play on many casinos, some gamblers are playing on new casinos because of the bonuses and giveaways they offer for new players, after the test they will decide if the new casino is worth replacing an old one.
Gamblers to play in a casino it should be something they are more comfortable than their old one.
