162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 07, 2024, 08:57:47 AM
No doubt that among boxers AJ is more popular than Ngannou Cheesy But in general, for people who are just spectators, give them google and they would found that Ngannou is way better than AJ, because he knockout people cold.

Similar to what I have argued before, this certainly is because of Francis Ngannou's shocking performance against Tyson Fury who is a big name in boxing. Before this, no one has heard of Francis Ngannou's name or has cared for him being a champion in MMA. Also, another reason for this support might be because Ngannou is the underdog for this fight hehehe. The supporters also like Ngannou's story about being a poor child working in the sandmines where he developed a very strong warrior's body hehehe.
Francis Ngannou story can be considered a Rocky story and it will eventually happen if he beats Joshua, some people are still underestimating Ngannou just because he only has one fight but it is different if you win against a regular heavyweight and loses but scores a knockdown against a boxer considered to be a lineal and one of the generations greatest boxer, I have seen the face-off and both fighters are very cordial, both fighters did not engage in any thrash talks and but I don't want to make a mistake that it's a friendly match I expect both fighters to go to for a knock out as this is a very important fight for both fighters, this is a survival fight for both fighters.

164  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 06, 2024, 02:26:18 PM
It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money, many are victim of this circumstances and for me is a bad practice and this might make you not to employe your gambling skills and roles because you inhast in your decision making. What is your opinion on this?
This a trap that every gambler should avoid whether you are new or a veteran you must control yourself in wanting to recover your losses, it's not going to work and you will lose more money trying to recover your losses and you will feel depressed for trying because it's not going to work, on all my past experiences trying to recover my losses the more I chase my losses the more money that I kept spending I always end up out of control and I neglect my bankroll, I exhaust my allocation for a week in just 2 to 3 days of trying to recover my losses.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indirect victims of gambling addiction on: March 06, 2024, 01:36:05 PM
As with any addiction, the effects of addiction to games of chance and betting do not fall on the gambler alone. It affects the family, friends, relatives, and everyone around him, and may lead to the deterioration of their conditions.

Of course, there are many indirect victims of gambling addiction. Can you add more?

One of the indirect victims is work or the company, it is hard to be productive if your mind wanders on gambling, and the company will suffer because of low productivity brought by people who cannot handle their gambling activity, just imagine if there are 5 gambling addicts within a company, the company will breakdown and they will have to fire these people and train new people to replace these people especially if the affected workers are those from upper rank.
These are indirect parties that will suffer from people who are addicted to gambling.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is AI going to affect gambling in any way ? on: March 06, 2024, 12:24:17 PM
AI has impacted almost all online businesses to major extent. Do you feel that there will be major impact of AI technology on online gambling industry as well ?

There's a lot of AI right now, but there's no AI dedicated to luck-based games they can only offer suggestions, but on sports betting, there are a lot of AIs created to help sports bettors and bookmakers like Zcodesystem, Rebel betting, and many others, its up to the bettors on how to use these tools wisely, but gambling is still gambling and you cannot be sure on every bet, because there are circumstances that's beyond the scope of AI's and this is something every gamblers should understand while using these AI's.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Jermall Charlo 4th May 2024 in Las Vegas on: March 05, 2024, 04:49:11 PM
^^ But what happens to Canelo saying that he doesn't want to fight another Mexican, and so it includes Munguia and David Benavidez. However, you saying that he will be fighting Munguia as I thought that it will be Berlanga a Puerto Rican as his next opponent. And if by chance he chooses Munguia, then it's a clear duck and avoiding Benavidez like a plague. Even Mike Tyson is now going in public and questioning Canelo's choice of opponent as Canelo is turning down Benavidez although there is huge money in the table  as he is guaranteed to the tune of $50 million++. So it looks like Canelo is cherry picking soft opponents and he doesn't want to lose again just like what Bivol did to him.

His promoter PBC is in dilemma Canelo wants to pick a lesser or a fighter that he thinks he can dominate to the tune of $30 million, but PBS is not going to make money from the fighters he is picking both of them have their interest, which is why we are reading rumors that he is parting ways with PBC, I don't know if there are promoters who will grant Canelo's wishes of fighting weak opponents at a big price, no promoters would like to gamble on that, so we will see in the coming days who will Canelo face, either he gives in or his promoter
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discrepancies in Casino Experiences on: March 05, 2024, 02:40:35 PM
This is a casino related issue. I feel like some people are lucky. Or maybe this isn't about luck. If you read on this forum and on the internet you will see that there are people who complain about the same casino that you have been playing for years about, being unable to login, unable to withdraw, and other casino issues, and calling these casinos scams. For some of these people, they didn't default on the terms and conditions looking at their screenshot evidence(I know that it is just a few cases). How does it make you feel knowing you've had a smooth experience while others have encountered such challenges?

There are two sides to the story when it comes to accusation, if the casino is reputable it can defend its accusation and they are willing to undergo an investigation and arbitration, but if the allegation is true and the casino still denies the payout and is unwilling to undergo arbitration then its something to think about if this is the kind of casino that you want to continue playing.
A player needs to have peace of mind while playing knowing that whenever he wins a big amount he'll never encounter issues when he wants to cash out,
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 05, 2024, 11:53:20 AM

Do you think decentralized gambling dApps will eventually replace their centralized counterparts? If not, why? Which do you prefer? Centralized or decentralized gambling? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

I only played once on a decentralized platform and the experience is not worth comparing when you're playing on a centralized platform, The majority of these decentralized platforms use tokens and you have to do a bridge before you can play, there's also not much game to choose from, centralized platforms has a good chance to stay longer than the decentralized gambling platform because there's a possibility that criminals might use decentralized platforms for money laundering and other illegal activities.

Centralize platforms are doing great, and I can not think of one big and compelling reason why gamblers will migrate to decentralized gambling platforms and ditch centralized platforms.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Goulamirian Vs Zurdo Ramirez WBA Super World Cruiserweight Title March 30 on: March 04, 2024, 03:23:15 PM

This is risky for Ramirez, it's his debut in the upper weight and he is looking to fight a champ. His camp got crazy when he could just wait until Goulamirian turns 40 and rusty in the ring. It's what boxers do these days, waiting for their turn to reign as the ranked fighters get old.

Ramirez is just 32. He is in a hurry to get a belt he is diving this massive fighter Goulamirian who still 36 and very skilled.

I have to check Goulamirian to see how good he is he fought like Mike Tyson but does not possess the power of Mike Tyson, Zurdo is a more technical fighter and he can last the full fight, Zurdo had a lackluster performance against Bivol but I'm sure he learned a lot from this fight and he is ready to take on Goulamirian the fight is very even on this fighter but given that Zurdo has well experienced compared to Goulamirian, this fight is very interesting to watch I have Zurdo winning by decision and he will use his experience to neutralize Goulamirian power.
171  Economy / Reputation / Re: Opinions on the word "Vouch" on: March 04, 2024, 02:37:05 PM
I once become a guarantor or a vouch for one guy from his loan, its a legal loan coming from a company and they need a guarantor for that kind of deal, I vouch for the guy because I believe he has the capability to pay the loan and we've been together for a long time that I know he has a good character and he will not put me at risk or his reputation,

If you are going to vouch then you believe that the guy will repay the loan, you should not vouch someone who you think will not repay the loan, you partake responsibility when it comes to taking loan,so be careful who you vouch.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos: Still a thing? on: March 04, 2024, 01:54:40 PM
I've been wanting to increase the number of my long-term crypto investments for a while now and I've already got like a good amount of BTC that I can comfortably invest without pulling out and I've checked Bitvest just out of curiosity and I've seen that you can invest in their website, I think I've seen it with Bustabit and Bustadice too back then, are they still doing that or is there like a lot of new casinos that are offering this kind of thing, I can't recall how it works when you invest in them so I'm going to ask (although I feel like stupid forgetting how it works), how does it work? And are there any other trusted casinos that are offering this investment? Is it a bad investment?

So far Bitvest is the popular casino platform that allows you to invest, in online casinos offering investment on their platform is not yet that popular only a handful offers this and yes Bitvest is popular to offer this, there's a lot of legalities investing in casinos so online casino prefer to keep their investors in house rather coming from the outside, but if you are a big investor you can write a formal request to the casino and offer them to invest in their platform.

But investing in online casinos as an outsider has a lot of risk involved, if you are a risk taker, you can research in your country for people who are into online casinos and create a partnership to launch an online casino, some casinos offer their token to invest you can stake their token or just hold it for future profit.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: March 04, 2024, 12:37:05 PM
As far as then numbers in this fight, I think it will do good, PPV and live gate wise. For me, Ryan is the next big cash-cow now, behind Canelo or even can surpassed Canelo for this year as Alvarez is easy picking fights for this year while Ryan goes after Haney and we will never know going to happen next.

Even if he losses here again, he could still bounce back and get a busy fight again and maybe go for the weakest champion here or even go up a notch and face Subriel Matias. But let's see how this fight goes first, but no question that it will generate millions of dollars again for Ryan.

He cannot be a PPV champion for a long time without a legitimate belt tucked in his belt. Without beating top names in boxing, the boxing experts and the boxing community will question your legacy, Ryan is still good going in this fight. Still, it will become bad for him if he loses the fight the way he loses it like Gervonta

If you watched the conferences and the face-off, Haney always questioned toughness because of how he quit against Gervonta, in a big fight like this is considered a legacy fight, who have you beaten and who beats you will pop up, and that's exactly what's happening now.

175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: March 03, 2024, 04:16:31 PM
I always tell and advise my friends who are new to gambling to never look for a pattern in luck-based games because there is none even the ever-popular martingale is not a guarantee that you can find a pattern that will give you a continuous win.
There is no pattern to attracting luck in gambling, if there was a pattern, it would have been exploited long ago by old time gamblers who have been playing luck based games. It is superstition to believe that there is a way to attract luck.

This is how newbies think because they failed to do research they only believe what they discovered and what they find out while playing I used to have this kind of thinking too when I was just starting out playing dice, I just thought that what you can do in physical casinos can be done online I was shocked to find out that its, not the case, there is no pattern, there is no formula you can only wish that you're in luck when you start to roll or place a bet.
Even in sports betting there is no guarantee, gambling is a game of luck its better to wish for luck than try your so-called pattern of yours.
176  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippines SEC will Ban Binance. Effectivity End of Feb. 2024 on: March 01, 2024, 05:31:22 PM
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: March 01, 2024, 04:39:44 PM
Yes, it's possible here in our country, I know of people who inherited their parents' debt and the successors have to sell all the deceased properties to pay for their debts leaving nothing to all his successors, this is bad for the family, a gambler can play all he wants as long as he is not taking a loan to gamble because in case there something happen to him and he is big debt in gambling, the family is left paying for his debt and this is added burden to the family.
In this life, we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow so never gamble coming from loans.
It is a case-to-case basis in every country but here in our country, it's legal for the loan giver to impose the debt for the family of the deceased.

179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mom won 50,000$ in Lottery on: March 01, 2024, 12:37:52 PM
This is a story where a mom thought she won 5000$ in a lottery (which was already a big amount) but later discovered that she won 50,000$. That is indeed one of the best things in her life and it just changed her life.

Most of us spend our whole lives participating and thinking that one day, we will win the big lottery but it seems an impossible thing. However, when we see other people's winning and changing their lifestyle, the hope of winning among us keeps alive.

Every time there's a winner in a lottery and it happens to be a big amount, people are inspired to bet, which is why betting in a lottery is very popular in our country, we are living in a third-world country, and the lottery is their hope to get out of the rat race of trying to meet their ends, and they are tempted to bet because of the announcement of winners, and the amount of money to be won, people in our country do not think of the impossible as long as they see people winning and they believe that the lottery is very transparent in their drawing.

The woman in the article knows what to do with his winning he is matured enough to understand how money coming from big wins should be spent
Quote
When asked about her plans for the hefty sum, the woman said that she anticipates discussing different options with financial experts. “We’re going to talk to our CPA and my investment specialist,” said Pruitt, adding that she wants to invest the money rather than blowing it away.

Every winner of the lottery should have that kind of thinking because if you blow it away on too much spending you'll find yourself losing everything and regret it.
180  Economy / Gambling / Re: coins.game confiscated 32,800 dollars of my money and blocked the user!!! on: February 29, 2024, 04:17:08 PM

Another thing I don't understand, if the casino blocked your account when you tried to withdraw $1000, how did you continue playing even though you were blocked? This casino has many scam accusations against them:

Asking the same question too. $32K is way bigger and if they blocked you already with $1k, it will be surprising to see you get that amount. This story is really insane I almost can't believe you can win that much with a capital of $30.

A new casino would be doubtful you win them all fairly. But it would help the people here to believe what you are saying by providing more information about your accusation. Proof will be needed.

I'm quite confused they should have not let him play if he is already blocked but look he turned the $1k to $32k that's another issue they have a good reason why they should not grant that $32k this casino is unheard of here but if you can provide proofs and screenshots of everything and post it here
Scam Accusations

We could have a good discussion on your issue don't just give up that $32k if you believe that you won it fair and square this is their official announcement
