21  Economy / Reputation / [POLL] Downloading Porn Torrents = Red Trust ? on: July 18, 2017, 07:19:15 AM
So i had this happen to me here.
I am curious what you all think.

First off let me explain that Torrent sites 99.99% post "ripped" content.
So what that means is the torrents are all sourced from commercial sources.
Which means they all have their age verified with picture ID and have blood tests.
They do ..because it's the law.

Then it boils down to what site you might be getting them from.
For example i got a negative rating here because of downloading from RarBG.
And that site *ONLY* posts verified commercial sourced torrents.
It also does not contain ANY child porn or other illegal types of porn either.

So ?

Should a guy here get a negative rating for admitting he downloaded porn ?
No ?
Well it sure as hell happened to me.

And the guy who did it has been trolling me for a year over it too calling me a pedophile.
Which is funny because i posted a link proving he was *possibly* one FIRST.
Oh and coincidentally the neg rating reference link he used was on a topic i made about piracy..
One of two i created where he showed up trolling me and arguing that "PIRACY IS WRONG"

..this is the type of bullshit i have to deal with here every day  Roll Eyes

PS:
Don't forget to vote, thanks. Smiley

23  Other / Off-topic / [NEWS] M2-class Solar Flare July 16th. on: July 15, 2017, 06:56:30 AM

GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH: NOAA forecasters have analyzed this morning's solar flare and CME and they have issued a geomagnetic storm watch for July 16th and 17th. Storms could reach category G2 (moderately strong) on both days. High latitude sky watchers can expect midnight auroras on Sunday and Monday. Free: Aurora Alerts

STRONG SOLAR FLARE AND CME: After days of suspenseful quiet, huge sunspot AR2665 finally erupted on July 14th (0209 UT), producing a powerful and long-lasting M2-class solar flare. Extreme ultraviolet telescopes onboard NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the blast:

Quote
Remarkably, the explosion persisted for more than two hours, producing a sustained fusillade of X-rays and energetic protons that ionized the upper layers of Earth's atmosphere. Shortwave radio blackouts were subsequently observed over the Pacific Ocean and especially around the Arctic Circle. This map from NOAA shows the affected geographic regions.

Of even greater interest is the coronal mass ejection (CME). The explosion hurled a bright CME away from the blast site, and it appears to be heading for Earth:

You have been warned.
24  Other / Meta / [FUD] What is with the hacked accounts epidemic ? on: July 15, 2017, 06:32:30 AM
So what is with the hacked accounts epidemic ?

Does anyone else find it fishy how sooooooo many NOOBS are showing up claiming they been hacked ?

I find it odd how i have not seen one of them mention what their password was or how strong it was etc.
I highly suspect the majority of them are bought accounts doing a charge back of sorts.
There is just way too many *NOOB* accounts popping up all mentioning how their account was "hacked"

..then sold  Roll Eyes
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [NEWS] EU report says criminals find it hard to use virtual currencies on: July 11, 2017, 04:11:14 AM
I have seen no one else bring this up.
I have said lots look out when huge drug cartels etc latch onto "coins"
They have a desire to launder obscene amounts of money i have pointed out lots.
The Mexican drug cartel alone handles mind shattering amounts of money..

The European Commission has released a new report which suggests that while organized criminals would like to use cryptocurrencies, they don’t because of their lack of knowledge in the technology. The findings are quite surprising as Bitcoin is mainly known for facilitating criminal activities.

29  Other / Politics & Society / [NEWS] Syrian fighter jet shot down (JUN-18-2017) on: June 19, 2017, 07:33:38 AM
My Source = https://www.castanet.net/edition/news-story-199775-5-.htm#199775
That is my local city news web page in Canada.
Story was spread around by the "Canadian Press"

Quote
The U.S. military on Sunday shot down a Syrian Air Force fighter jet that bombed local forces aligned with the Americans in the fight against Islamic State militants, an action that appeared to mark a new escalation of the conflict.

The U.S. had not shot down a Syrian regime aircraft before Sunday's confrontation, said Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, a Pentagon spokesman. While the U.S. has said since it began recruiting, training and advising what it calls moderate Syrian opposition forces to fight IS that it would protect them from potential Syrian government retribution, this was the first time it resorted to engaging in air-to-air combat to make good on that promise.

The U.S.-led coalition headquarters in Iraq said in a written statement that a U.S. F-18 Super Hornet shot down a Syrian government SU-22 after it dropped bombs near the U.S. partner forces, known as the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The shootdown was near Tabqa, a Syrian town in an area that has been a weekslong focus of fighting against IS militants by the SDF as they surround the city of Raqqa and attempt to retake it from IS.

The U.S. military statement said it acted in "collective self defence" of its partner forces and that the U.S. did not seek a fight with the Syrian government or its Russian supporters.

According to a statement from the Pentagon, pro-Syrian regime forces attacked the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces-held town of Ja'Din, south of Tabqah in northern Syria, wounding a number of SDF fighters and driving the SDF from the town.

Coalition aircraft conducted a show of force and stopped the initial pro-regime advance toward the town, the Pentagon said. Following the pro-Syrian forces attack, the coalition called its Russian counterparts "to de-escalate the situation and stop the firing," according to the statement.

A few hours later, the Syrian SU-22 dropped bombs near SDF fighters and, "in collective self-defence of coalition-partnered forces," was immediately shot down by a U.S. F/A-18E Super Hornet, the Pentagon said.

"The coalition's mission is to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria," the Pentagon said, using an abbreviation for the Islamic State group. "The coalition does not seek to fight Syrian regime, Russian or pro-regime forces partnered with them, but will not hesitate to defend coalition or partner forces from any threat. "

U.S. forces tangled earlier this month with Syria-allied aircraft in the region. On June 8, U.S. officials reported that a drone likely connected to Iranian-supported Hezbollah forces fired on U.S.-backed troops and was shot down by an American fighter jet. The incident took place in southern Syria near a base where the U.S.-led coalition was training Syrian rebels fighting the Islamic State group.

An Army spokesman at the Pentagon said at the time that the drone carried more weapons and was considered a direct threat, prompting the shootdown.

So..

What concerns me is this is an escalation of the proxy war.. USA vs Russia. (fought in Syria)

Thoughts ?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [FUD] Altcoin Ideaology on: June 16, 2017, 06:15:04 AM

You all tell me what it means.
I am not kidding either.. i would like for you all to define what it means.

Does it even exist *anymore* ?

I have had my own interpretation of altcoin ideaology here since 2013.
What is yours ?

With out any ..isn't this just scammy shit then ?
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [Survey] Altcoin World Country Stats on: June 14, 2017, 08:23:17 AM
I am curious what nationality the people are here and around the crypto scene.

I posted a couple of examples.
Please post your country name and i will add it to the poll.. so you can vote for it.
I'll check back later and update etc.

No one will be insulted based on what country there are from.
All people are welcome in crypto no matter where they are from  Smiley

If you voted thanks for taking the time.
I think we would all be a little curious right ?
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [FUD] Why not just make a scam coin ? on: June 11, 2017, 04:57:34 AM
So i suggested before you all just be honest and drop the facade basically.
If you want to create stupid fake currencies that will never be used as such then why not be honest about it ?

Why bother bullshitting bullshitters ?
Why preach to the ICO scam coin choir when they are already sold.

Let me put it this way..
None of you ever since 2013 gave a shit about using Ripple or Doge or Ethereum or Monero etc.
They are used on pofitz coinz exchangerz fer teh ROI's ...and that is it !
None of you care in the slightest that adoption never moves.
You all covet Bitcoin 1000x more than all Altcoins combined yet bad mouth it and yet don't lift a finger to even get Bitcoin adopted and used.. let alone any Altcoin.

If you wanna play the greater fools game (a digital pyramid scheme token circle jerk) ?
Then why not man up about it ?
Why all the silly bullshit exhausting pointless shenanigans ?

Why do you all have to constantly be told you are stupid & greedy ?
Why not get smart ?

What am i driving at ?
Well since you are all 99.99% pretending to care about "currencies" ...
Why not just make a fake currency for teh profitz on teh exchnager fer teh ROI'z ?

You are doin' it wrong profiteers.
You are stupid.. Want to make money ?
Well, creating 10,000 ANN topics and infinite "coins" is retarded.
You should create 1 coin !

Call it Pyramid Scheme coin and then simply market it as a deliberate digital pyramid scheme.
Why fuck around and play dumb ?
If you want money Investards it's deadly simple..
As long as you all pile into the same coin buying it the price will keep rising.
And if you are up front and honest about the "scam" part of it at least it won't get exposed later.
People will know what they are getting into from day one.

I have thought this all along and brought it up a few times.

If you want to run a ponzi / pyramid scheme styled coin for profits then fucking do it.
Why shuffle your feet around loitering around humming & hawing about innovations & shit when you honestly couldn't cares less ?

Wanna scam ? Just do it already. Roll Eyes
You'd make a million times more money than what you are getting now.

Create a pointless clone coin then call it maybe "Scam Coin"
Then all of you buy it.. done.
Your rich.
There is nothing more to it.

So why don't you ?
Whats the problem ?
33  Economy / Reputation / [TRIVIA] Who's worse GOX or Spoetnik ? on: June 10, 2017, 05:07:14 AM
If you voted Spoetnik ? YOU WIN !

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2134

That is the owner of GOX's account here..
Notice how i have a trust rating twice as bad as his ?

Yup.. my FUD is simply diabolical and evil on a whole new scale guys.
Apparently Spoetnik is bad.. he's worse than a guy who steals half a billion dollars in Bitcoin.

..i ROFL'd i dunno about you  Cheesy

PS:
Winners.. your prize is in the mail. (it's FUD)
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [FUD] Risk Management on: June 09, 2017, 12:13:04 PM
I see in the last couple months roughly a flood of new users showing up.
You new guys are at risk !

My advice for you is.. be honest & sincere.

I am not saying that to defend morality but because i think it's your safest bet trading.

I am looking out for you all here whether you realize it or not.
You all need to recognize a bubble when you see one and realize it HAS to pop eventually.
During the big rush in late 2013 things went nuts !
ALL coins sky rocketed like crazy.. but it didn't last.

It stopped and slowed and went in reverse price wise overall.
Why ?
Because new users showing up slowed to a crawl.
That has a domino effect of crashing prices and trapped bag-holders.

So i am telling to be smart and watch for the signs of the bubble popping.
And make your plans ahead of time.. so you know what to do and when.

The coins that will be least likely to crash as bad are the ones that are more credible.
You all get to decide which those are..

Be smart.. don't be overwhelmed with greed.
Sometimes you need to sell and not worry about getting a little more etc.
Don't be a pig !

I seen guys complaining they were trapped in shitty coins losing tons of money before.
It happens and it will happen again !

I would start to worry if you see signs of the flow of new users drying up.
Because not long after that prices will start sliding down hard !
Do you have plans for that ?

Some of you think the surge of new users will keep going on forever.. but it won't trust me.
Hate me.. disagree with me but realize i am just trying to get you all to be cautious and take a sincere honest route with this stuff because it's going to be your best bet profit wise and best for crypto in general too.

Good luck.. you are going to need it !
What goes up must come down.

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [FACTS] They are no longer called ALTCOINS on: May 27, 2017, 09:27:31 AM
Just wanted to let you all know i am officially changing the terminology as of right now.

For now on they will be called "Scheme Coins"

In reality Bitcointalk turned a blind eye to forum rules and perpetuated a scene that thrived on alternative use cases for a block chain.. in the altcoin forum section.

This section here as i pointed out lots over the years was morphed into a free for all dumping ground for bullshit scammy crap.
What the actual definition means is.. ANYTHING not Bitcoin (traded on Polo for ROI's)

Not.. "alternative Crypto Currency"

I am tired of calling them all "coins"
I thought the notion of calling Bitcoin a "coin" was pretty stupid.
After thousands of so called "assets" being released i've had enough of the perverse bastardization of the word.

The only thing worse than the shitcoins is the idiots buying them.

I find it funny how inflation is running rampant here in Canada.
EVERYTHING is going up and up and price except wages.. always the last to go up.

Then in crypto the price of coins go up 5,000% and you all hold a parade and clap ?
Hmm i wonder why ?
Ohhhh because you are "investors"  Roll Eyes
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [FACTS] You are a profiteer if ? on: May 22, 2017, 09:37:21 PM
Either you have the coins wallet installed or you are NO supporter
..and nothing but a profiteer !

Someone who shuffles around trading anything that pays (even if it's scammy ass garbage)

I would bet 95% of you all here are one of themUndecided

So line up and admit.. tell us all about your coins (sitting on exchanges)
And if any of you use the word Exchanger I'm going to lose my shit big time !
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / [FUD] Faucets ? on: May 22, 2017, 10:13:44 AM
So i looked and i got $85 on Bittrex in Bitcoin.
I got it by using the faucet / gambling site years ago.
I got a bunch of referrals on it.. which kept paying even after i stopped using the site.
If you all want to try it i put my ref link in my SIG.

I am not trying to advertise my link here..
I'm curious if faucets exist.. i have heard nothing about them for ages.

The one i mentioned is a gambling site too but you can play free Dice game 1x per hour.
So it's sort of like a faucet.

With that site i can share my referral link then the site gives me some BTC if other sign up & play.
But it is 100% legit as i have said occasionally before. (site is around 3 years old i think)

But old-school faucets were more simple..
You would simply go to a web site then click the "gimme coins" button.
So is that a thing still ?

I always liked the idea because people then do not have to send money from their bank to an exchange etc.
Then like me you can start doing this crypto stuff with nothing invested.

When is showed up i didn't really have any extra money..
But even if i did ? I was not going to send it to Cryptsy or Poloniex or Gox etc.
So i started out with Faucets and some old PC / GPU mining and a bit of trading on exchanges.

Anyone know ?
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [Survey] What would it take for you to quit ? on: May 21, 2017, 07:06:50 AM
The question is vague on purpose.
I hope the question is provocative and gets people thinking.

For example..
Would you quit the Altcoins thing if ?
- Your favorite coin was never mass adopted.
- You lost a lot of money trading.
- Tough laws were passed making all this far harder to do.
- Bitcointalk shut down.

What would make you quit ?
And you tell us all what "quit" would mean to you.

For example i quit.. but pretty much trading for profit only.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [FUD] Current Cap Rank (May 2017) on: May 19, 2017, 05:16:40 AM
Here is your proper / corrected top-10 cap rank standings taken from CoinMarketCap.

1  -  Bitcoin
2  -  Litecoin
3  -  Dash
4  -  Monero
5  -  Bytecoin*
6  -  Doge
7  -  GameCredits*
8  -  Siacoin*
9  -  Decred*
10 - Bitconnect*

NOTE:

ETH, ETC, Steem and Zcash do not count because they should have an asterisk too.

Also i don't know how a few in the list were started / distributed so some of them may be scammy too.
Such as Bitconnect which i have never heard of until i made the list here.
(i added an asterisk to those i am unsure about)

FUD:

Oh and it would be Spoetnik who got Gliss to add the fucking asterisk *AFTER* i bitched him out.
He cried FUD and mouthed me off, said i was trolling then a few days later did what i had suggested (adding the asterisk's)
I never did get an apology or any credit.

You have accountability from services because i took it upon myself to go out and get it from the shitheads running crypto guys.. What the fuck do you guys do again ?

- You're welcome  Cool

PS:
I am not advocating the list, simply pointing it out.. corrected / fixed.  Kiss
