Since there are configs for CN, CNv2,... Also my Monero mining thread is bit outdated and full of not really recent info so I'm gonna start this whole new thread for the latest CNv4 algo which currently using Monero and few other, and more will follow probably. Post your configs in this thread or submit here on Mining-bios.euAlso post here https://monerobenchmarks.info/Here you can find configs for CNv2 (Monero v8) and some updated for CN R.How to post config examples:GPU: RX 570 4GB Miner: XMRig-AMD 2.14 Hashrate: 795 H/s Clocks: 1200/2100 MHz "threads": [ { "index": 0, "intensity": 768, "worksize": 8, "strided_index": 2, "mem_chunk": 2, "unroll": 8, "comp_mode": false, "affine_to_cpu": false }, { "index": 0, "intensity": 768, "worksize": 8, "strided_index": 2, "mem_chunk": 2, "unroll": 8, "comp_mode": false, "affine_to_cpu": false } GPU: VEGA 64 Miner: XMRig-AMD 2.14 Hashrate: 1850 H/s Clocks: "threads": [ { "index": 0, "intensity": 1792, "worksize": 16, "strided_index": 2, "mem_chunk": 2, "unroll": 8, "comp_mode": false, "affine_to_cpu": false }, { "index": 0, "intensity": 1792, "worksize": 16, "strided_index": 2, "mem_chunk": 2, "unroll": 8, "comp_mode": false, "affine_to_cpu": false } GPU: Radeon VII Miner: XMR-STAK 2.10 Hashrate: 3050 H/s Clocks: 1750/1225 MHz "gpu_threads_conf" : [ { "index" : 0, "intensity" : 1904, "worksize" : 16, "affine_to_cpu" : true, "strided_index" : 2, "mem_chunk" : 2, "unroll" : 8, "comp_mode" : true, "interleave" : 40 }, { "index" : 0, "intensity" : 1904, "worksize" : 16, "affine_to_cpu" : true, "strided_index" : 2, "mem_chunk" : 2, "unroll" : 8, "comp_mode" : true, "interleave" : 40 }, ],

Cryptonite can help you with protection of your assests! It has many features, but folks don't know all of them or even this addon that's why I decided to write this guide. What Metacert Protocol and Cryptonite can do- Show green shield when you visiting verified site
🛡️ - Block access to scam and phishing sites 🔒
- Check url with Metacert Telegram bot ✅
- Check wallet address if it's not phishing one 🚫
- Show green shield on verified Twitter accounts
️
I've got verified my own Mining Bios shop, you can check the shield should be green there. I did it because others try to create the same shop and maybe scam people, so now everybody can verify that they visit the one and only bios shop created by Mattthev. Few customers also sent ETH to another wallet, I've checked the gateway plugin and it was not a problem with it. They had some trojan virus infected PC and when they copied the wallet address it was actually diferrent one. So they send ETH to different wallet. It only happend with ETH, don't know how many cryptos have this similar virus. But many of this wallets should be already reported to Metacert and before you send crypto you can check it with Metacert bot if it's reported as phishing wallet. Also double check that the address you copy paste is the exact one that is written from where you copy it. You can read something about the virus in here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2463221.0Official Metacert Twitter https://twitter.com/metacertDownload Cryptonite for you browser
Direct links Google Chrome Mozilla Firefox Opera Metacert Protocol Telegram bot Add Metacert Bot to your contacts on TelegramWith Telegram Metacert bot you can verify url addresses. Send msg /check url-you-want Example /check https://mining-bios.eu You will then get answer like this: You can also check wallet addresses, most of them are unverified, but there are lot of marked as phishing! Simply send wallet address to Metacert bot. Example 0x094e85b6729919a26526a4710eb7ddaea9bf5e7a You will then get answer like this: Beware of block explorers, it detects only website url not the wallet so if you check the wallet on etherscan it shows you green shield even it's phishing address! https://etherscan.io/address/0x094e85b6729919a26526a4710eb7ddaea9bf5e7a - Phishing address, but url etherscan.io is verified so shield is green! Hope they will work on this also. Twitter verfied accounts Check green shield next to @username Examples https://twitter.com/satoshilitehttps://twitter.com/officialmcafeehttps://twitter.com/binancehttps://twitter.com/bittrexexchange Examples of Metacert verified pages https://bitcoin.org/en/https://litecoin.org/https://getmonero.org/https://ryo-currency.com/https://mining-bios.eu/

I've wanted to add this to my Monero guide, but it's already merged with Sumo and it would be very confusing... Here are the best Cryptonote miners with pros, cons, instructions and download links. Tutorial how to setup best miners. Why Electroneum? https://electroneum.com/Buy Mining Bios With Performance Timings You can now buy bios prepared for mining. It's undervolted and uses performance timings! Prices are as low as $5. You can pay only with crypto, native cryptos are BTC, LTC and DOGE, others are supported through Shapeshift integration. I will add more bios hopefully soon! I recommend to pay with LTC because BTC fee cost more than those bios You can use Shapeshift for both, just pick LTC or BTC and in next step you will use Shapeshift. For all GPU's with a compute capability >=2.0 and <6.0 there is a restriction of the amount of RAM that can be used for the mining algorithm. The maximum RAM that can be used must be less than 2GB (e.g. GTX TITAN) or 1GB (e.g. GTX 750-TI). The amount of RAM used for mining can be changed with "threads" : T, "blocks : B". T = threads used per block B = CUDA blocks started (should be a multiple of the multiprocessors M on the GPU) For the 2GB limit the equations must be full filled: T * B * 2 <= 1900 and B mod M == 0. The value 1900 is used because there is a little data overhead for administration. The GTX Titan X has 24 multiprocessors M, this means a valid and good starting configuration is "threads" : 16, "blocks : 48" and full fill all restrictions 16 * 48 * 2 = 1536 and 48 mod 24 = 0. The memory limit for NVIDIA Pascal GPUs is 16 GiB if the newest CUDA driver is used. Windows or Linux Interactive Usage To work (surf) with you desktop system while you are running the miner you need to find a good value for bfactor and bsleep. On windows, you need to set the option bfactor and bsleep if the miner crashs shortly after starting. A good value to start on windows is "bfactor" : 6, "bsleep" : 25. To reach the maximum hash rate you must set both values to zero "bfactor" : 0, "bsleep" : 0. Output control Press 'h' (hashrate), 'r' (results) or 'c' (connection) to print reports. Benchmarks: GPU & CPU BENCKMARKS FOR MONERO MINING!
Check what memory vendor you have with GPU-Z. This is Samsung.

Download newest ATIWinFlash and save your bios.

Start Polaris Bios Editor or SRBPolaris. Open the bios. SRB Guide is under PBE guide, this forum doesn't support Spoiler tag so it's little bit confusing.
Polaris Bios Editor 1.4.1

Copy performance timing. For Samsung is best Uber-Mix 3.1. First post -> RX Performance timings. It can be used for RX 470/570 and 480/580 4GB or 8GB. Use it only for Samsung memory. There are performance timings for all vendors Elpida, Hynix, Micron. You can google some of them also you can make your own. Basically it's just normal timing strap from card with tightening timings for better performance. It can be decode to values in SRBPolaris for example.
If you want good performance timings you can write to me I can sell you them. For all memory vendors. EDIT: Basic Performance Timings for Elpida/Hynix/Micron/Samsung
Beware of space before the strap while you copying the Uber-Mix 3.1 from original web!
Copy it to 1750 and 2000. If you have more straps like this 1:xxxx 2:xxxx, you need to copy to the right one. In VRAM section, there is dropdown menu the Samsung one start with K, Hynix with H and Elpida with E. First one is 1:xxxx second one is 2:xxxx, SRBPolaris showing exact name of memory vendor.

You can higher or lower TDP if you want. Max memory clocks or vcore.
Undervolting Do not put static voltages Voltages like 65286 means they are dynamical for every card based on ASIC quality mostly. So you can flash the bios to all same cards (memory vendor) and it will work, every card will have similar voltages, some lower some higher. The trick for easy undervolting is put lower values than it is. Voltages need to be equal or higher than the previous on.

Example from other forum how it could be

If you set clock in Afterburner or whatever you will se what voltages is that. Do not lower voltages too much in bios, you can always undervolt in Afterburner. Once you will know what voltages are stable you can put those dynamics values right for your card.
Also you can lower VDDC (VRM). You can put values like 1000, 975, 950, lowering by -25mV. 975 and 950 should be stable on every cards, you can set 850 but this could be unstable. If you put lower voltages only to higher clocks it will always boot but in utilization it could be unstable.

There is lot more to change but this is basic and it's mostly enough what you need. It's mainly meant to show you what is performance timings and how to do easy undervolt. Save the bios and flash it with ATIWINFLASH -> continue under SRB guide.
SRB Polaris V3
Open your stock bios. As you can see this one has 2 memory vendors. First is Samsung and second is Hynix. You can clearly see what memory vendor you edit, no 0:xxxx, 1:xxxx and 2:xxxx anymore.

If GPU-Z says Samsung edit only Samsung. If it says another vendor edit only the one! As I wrote before, copy the Uber-Mix 3.1, 3.2 or other performance timing you have, if you have my pack copy it from the RX Timings txt file. I recommend you to use tweaked Uber-mix 3.1.1 from my pack for Samsung. Copy it to clocks you will use. So mostly is enough 2000, but you can copy it to 1750, 1900, 2250 basicaly all these high clocks.

If you have Hynix, use the timings table for Hynix. Micron-Elpida means Elpida. Micron is Micron. Do not put Uber-mix or any other performance timing to other vendors! The timing pack you have from me is divided for all vendors so refer there for proper timings. Also read the info if the timing fits for 4GB or 8GB, if it's not stated it fits to both. Not every performance timing will work with your card good. If the card is not mining well, system crash or miner crash, try other performance timing from the timings file. If you still have problem, simply contact me on e-mail. EDIT: Basic Performance Timings for Elpida/Hynix/Micron/Samsung

Here you can set clocks, 1411MHz is good for gaming, not for mining, only if you don't care about power consumption. For higher hashrate you can set around 1300MHz, optimal hashrate/watts around 1250MHz, for best power consumption around 1150MHz. Memory clocks should be higher than 2000MHz, but bad cards can't run it. If you have Hynix 8GB with my performance timing you will need to run the card above 2200MHz for 31+MH/s. In bios set max 1900-2000MHz, OC the memory with utility like AfterBurner or WattTool to the max and check for memory errors in HWinfo64!!

If you changed core or memory clocks you will need to save the bios now and open again. You can undervolt memory voltage controller, use the dropdown menu. 900-1000mV is mostly safe, if you want best stability leave it 1000mV or 975mV, 950mV.

Core undervolting is bad here. You can put static voltages but it's not much safe. Lower last digit by 1 or 2 if you lower the core clocks or they are under 1300MHz you can put there 65286, if your max core clocks are lower than 1250, you can even put 65285. PBE 1.5 is better for this kind of undervolting.

You can edit Wattage here. You can adjust little bit the Power limit, if you undervolt or you will in utility there is no needed to edit this at all, only if you want OC core to the max. Not applies for memory OC.

Bonus On the timing tab if you click on STRAP EDITOR, you can explore the timing strap edit it and make your own timing strap.

Flash the mod bios
Save the bios and flash it with ATIWINFLASH Load bios and click program. Your PC will freeze for few seconds so patiently wait!

After flashing your card uninstall AMD drivers with DDU! Reboot and install new drivers and Pixel Clock Patcher Without patch your card will have error 43! You can rename Pixel patcher to atikmdag-patcher-bios.exe it will than only install signature patch! Reboot. You will also need set cards to compute workload
Memory OC and memory errors
Start miner or stability test. Start with stock clocks than you can raise memory clocks by 10Mhz steps, every few seconds. Download HWinfo64 and check for memory errors! Once you have some errors lower clocks a bit till there are no new. This clocks should be stable. After you find best memory clocks you can set core clocks (overclock or underclock) than you can try lowering voltages. Also you there shouldn't be artifacts!
http://www.pcworld.com/article/250644/how_to_overclock_your_graphics_card.html
Find your GPU and the GPU memory errors line. Watch it for numbers. If there are any after few minutes your memory clock is too high. If you have few errors after hours it's no problem. But key is to have 0 errors. Memory errors can cause bad shares!

With performance timings you can have 30-31MH/s with RX 470/570 and 31+MH/s with RX 480/580 (It could be 33+MH/s If you have bios from Wolf0 or Eliovp!) This is max you can have not every card can achieve it! Most cards can run above 28MH/s.

Update JULY 2017: Due to hashrates drop are current hashrates on ETH lower!
Hope this could help someone, there are lot's of other tutorials and videos on youtube, but none of them what I saw used performance timings...

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 4x PCIe risers on 1 molex cable?

I've bought molex risers and those sata adapters aren't looking quality ones. I have Corsair HX1200 and there are 2x molex cables each have 4 molex connectors. Can I use 1 molex cable to 4 risers? Or it's better buy 1 additional molex cable for 10 bucks? I have 4 sata cables but they aren't good what I heard. Thanks.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / New mining motherboard for 6 GPU?

Since my old HP is acting weird and hashes low -> this topic I need new HW. So the new LGA 1151 are cheap with DDR4. I was looking on this Gigabyte H2701x PCIE 16x, 2x PCIE 4x, 2x PCIE and 1x PCI all 3.0 I've read that MSI B250 only support 4 gpu. Does H270 support 6 PCIE devices? I can't figure it out. Gigabytes B250 uses pcie lines with m.2 so I guess it won't run 6 gpus. CPU Celeron G3930 and 4GB 2400MHz DDR4. Or any tips for good mobo for reasonable price? DDR4 and LGA 1151 would be nice. Thanks guys for tips and advices.
