C'mon, this dude literally said that Ukraine is aggressor who invading territory of Russia, it seems that lives in some kind of alternative reality.

Russians were oppressed in parts of Ukraine, similar to Albanians on Kosovo been oppressed by Serbia.
So, similar to Albanians, Russians in parts of Ukraine declared independence.

USA, instead bombing Ukraine like they bombed Serbia, decided to arm Ukraine so
they could oppress Russians more...is that double standard or what?

Putin was certainly banking on Europe not doing anything because "the gas supply would be cut", there are abundant records of it.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/07/20/russian-gas-cuts-germany/

It failed.

On your other comments, I guess the US will thank Putin a lot for resuscitating NATO, it was nearly useless  Grin

Your interpretation of US bases in Europe is that countries are "invaded"? The US troops in Europe are insignificant and the interference of US in Europe, particularly after the European Union is much less than anywhere else - particularly in country that do not actually have bases (e.g. most Latin America).

As of now, Germany shoulders around 16% of the NATO budget - does not look anything like "invaded". France does not have bases as such. Spain removed most of the bases, I believe there is still a naval one in Rota, Italy does have quite a few,...  Nah, Europe is an ally, but is not a forced ally - still able to put a fine on Facebook an

Yes BA is a dumbass - there is abundant proof - as you are the equivalent of a "fashion victim" but the Stalin version.

If what you say would be true, there would be no need for operation Gladio
Also, since Germany is poor in resources, are they any better now that they're prisoners
of expensive American LNG instead cheap Russian gas?
64  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: December 22, 2023, 08:45:16 AM

Ruzzia was trading under the idea that Germany would be prisoner of the cheap Ruzzian gas. Putin miscalculated - he though Europe would not respond, nor the US -  among many other strategic mistakes.

You are still a dumbass.

USA has troops occupying Germany, and Germany is "prisoner" of cheap Russian gas?

You say that and then call HIM dumbass?

LOL

(btw, if you can sell me anything at half the price, I want to be your "prisoner"...could use cheap BMW and some
cheap PC parts, and, why not, gas)

You can certainly disprove the second, unless the missile had multiple warheads or was able to divide in 10.

Or maybe it was not in combat ready position, but stored somewhere

Ukraine has the image of fighting courageously against the greatest threat to participative regimes currently (yes that Ruzzzzia). They are not only "beggars" they are the people who can hold the Orcs in the frontline - I do not like to put it this way, but they are fucking heroes, while the rest of the world is just watching the game from the side-lines. Paying money is nothing compared to paying life.
This was last season. And now, after the failure of the counter-offensive, Ukraine has turned into a loser beggar that no one wants to deal with. And next season you will probably learn to spell the word “Russia” correctly, or even start singing “Ave, Putin!” in the morning. Grin

As per you choice ... yes I am sure you think is better to surrender. You have already done it:

Stop your empty moralizing....

Why? Am I getting to close to your true self? do not worry, you have been born in the wrong place, that's all - maybe.

Look, sovereign states do not need to do as they are told. I know that is difficult for you to understand.

By the way, speaking of getting close, it seems that a few bombers have gotten to close to a few Ukrainian drones. Or maybe it has been the other way around and the drones got to close to the Ruzzian bombers... Anyway, it happened in Morozovsk airport and it seems the bombers won - they intercepted all the drones by putting themselves in the middle of the drones' trajectories.

Unfortunaltely for Ruzzia, you got 12 more or less modern planes less now.

Its also said that single Russian hypersonic missile caused 1.5 billion USD damage and destroyed full year production of USA
rockets for Patriot system

I can't confirm either story, though
67  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: December 14, 2023, 01:01:18 PM

You are wrong. US presidents often rise in popularity when they wage war. Ruzzia population at several levels were supportive of the war at the beginning. Wake up  and try to read some proper information - do you need more confirmation that you are NOT better informed, smarter or more moral than the rest of the users here dumbass?

By the way, it seems that quite a few incidents are ongoing with the Ruzzian civil aviation. It seems that they are "patching" here and there the components, so I would not be surprised to see metal raining from the Ruzzia skies.

Those polls are stupid anyway...they should be done in a way that answer "yes" means you immediately get

It seems that Ukraine has stopped in a quite expedite and violent way the Ruzzian attempt to attack the Krinki bridgehead on the east bank of the dnipro. One could say that the drone operators of Ukraine basically "work from home". The degree of surveillance and potential to destroy anything in 20 km of Kherson is astonishing - nothing moves without Ukraine knowing. The only exception is the air launched heavy bombs, which are inaccurate but in large quantities so occasionally they hit something of value.

Other bits of the front have also some good news, but it changes from day to day, .... stalemate.#

Oh, Be.open you are going to like the price levels in your country... 6% inflation, 3% growth... If you cannot do the math I will for you: Ruzzia is effectively shrinking a 3%.

Ya, indeed

https://www.newsweek.com/ukraine-dnieper-kherson-river-1851143

"The Odesa outlet Dumskaya described the operation to maintain the bridgehead as resulting in large losses for little achievable purpose.

"Marines cross the river and most are killed as they approach the shore," it said. "There is no talk of any further breakthrough; now the forces are being wasted simply on staying there. For what?"

It called for the Ukrainian command "to curtail this operation," which was going to be linked with the offensive in the Zaporozhzhia region which has already ended."

BTW, how is Russia growth compared with UK 0.5% growth and 6% inflation, is that better than Russia?

155mm is not "depleted worldwide", only the excess stocks have been sent to Ukraine, while most countries keep their strategic stock pretty much intact. The US has not passed to Ukraine anything they cannot spare without hindering their ability to wage two significant wars. South Korea has stocks of unknown depth. Perhaps only Europe is doing more of an effort.

But worry not, US has ramped up production so they can spare even more. https://www.defensenews.com/digital-show-dailies/2023/03/28/us-army-eyes-six-fold-production-boost-of-155mm-shells-used-in-ukraine/

Quote
The Army is spending $1.45 billion on capacity “to expand 155mm artillery production from 14,000 a month to over 24,000 later this year,” and 85,000 in five years, ...

24.000 a month is a good target. High intensity and now sustainable effort.

Yep, there is a dip for sure. Just follow URAL oil, not the general commodity chart.

https://nypost.com/2023/07/09/biden-lets-slip-during-interview-us-low-on-artillery-ammunition-rounds-as-it-tries-to-aid-ukraine/

...and, you reposted my link to prove I'm wrong? On both your and mine (same) link current price is $56, not $50, and last time it was $80
was 2 months ago, not yesterday as you suggested
71  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: December 09, 2023, 11:34:06 AM
The result depends on the degree of support. Ukraine has proven more resilient than expected, Europe an US more willing to confront, Ruzzia less powerful than could be expected... so this is a situation can be broken by sending a proper yearly long aid package. As of now, Ukrainians have done a lot with a very limited supply of weapons and limits to their use.

In the end, it depends on how good of ally is US going to be and, to be honest, how smart they are about their own stance in the world if they choose to step back.

Something really strange occurred today with the price of Ural Oil. from 80 to 50 US per barrel.

So limited that it depleted 155mm rounds worldwide, while many countries will need years to replenish ATGMs

Urals oil is at $56 and it was nowhere near $80 for a while

Except Paxmao and few Ukrainian bots here, even Ukrainians see the truth

https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/articles/2023/12/7/7431958/

"I’d even go so far as to say that this isn’t even a stalemate on the chessboard now: we’re on the point of losing the war.
I believe that our people are mature enough to be told the truth. And this truth needs to come from the Supreme Commander-in-Chief."

Ukrainian telegram channel
https://t.me/legitimniy/16817

"Everyone realized that now Ukraine cannot win.  The offensives have failed, equipment reserves have thinned out, the shortage of ammunition has worsened,
public disappointment is off the charts, and no one wants to fight.

Now the populists from the Office of the President are realizing that it is necessary to pump up the defense case, but it will be difficult to package this into “victory,”
but they are trying, promising people fairy tales again.  But everyone soberly understands that from the risk point of view, Ukraine’s future looks like this:
 - gradual loss of territories
 - gradual collapse of defense
 - increased internal squabbling
 - financial crisis
 - social crisis
 - disappointment
 - banking crisis
 - energy and fuel crisis
 - bankruptcy of many farmers, carriers, etc.
 - poverty
 - increase in mortality
 - increased repression as Zelensky tries to retain power
The list goes on, but there is nothing good.  Zelensky chose slow and painful death/collapse/chaos for Ukraine.
But he could have changed the course of events many times and prevented literally everything that the Ukrainians are now reaping.  "

Something peculiar is happening with the SUs airplanes lately. There is no official confirmation of what is happening or if there is a new system in place or an improvement of an existing system or perhaps a SAM battery placed near the frontline, but it seems that Ruzzia is losing planes beyond what you may expect by the usual trends. There may be something out there that has not been officially been "transferred to Ukraine".
Are you having mental wet dreams again? This is doubly funny, considering that Ukraine literally lost half of its combat aircraft fleet in just a couple of months (after Russia successfully modernized its radar reconnaissance aircraft), and the issue of transferring F16 fighters to Ukraine was put on pause after the victory in the Netherlands of the far-right opponent of military aid to Ukraine.

How are the crossings of the Dnieper going? Do the Ukrainian marines feel good at the Krynki bridgehead? Grin

It seems Ukrainians are remaking Gallipoli there

Meanwhile today in Moscow who one of the most nasty Z-person, traitor of Ukriane Ilya Kiva was eliminated:
https://www.ft.com/content/834e90a5-6ae0-4839-b184-2c7c5e22ced0
Previously he was member of Ukraine's Rada, but after start of invasion he run away to Russia where he actively supported war in Ukraine and become frequent guest on propaganda shows.
Interesting moment that in 2014 he was active participant of Maidan, become member of nationalist Right Sector, but later he changed views to pro- Russian. What a chameleon. Quite ironical that Kiva in his last post on Telegram today posted that best option for Zelensky now is suicide, well, that didn't aged well:
https://t.me/The_Kyva/6381
This SBU operation shows that traitors can't feel safe even far away in Moscow.

FSB killed him, because Zelensky is too valuable to Russia

Germany sent

14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine
88 Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine

“14” - Words is a reference to the white supremacist slogan: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children”
“88” - is the NeoNazi numerical code for “Heil Hitler”

USA tried to replace Russian sphere of influence by destroying Russian one, employing nazis
to do that for them. So Russians battle it by fighting Nazis and protecting Russians

replacing a language is part of changing the spheres of influence

Why wouldn't the west sponsor neo-nazis to fight against Russia once again?

LOL you've been massively lied to about the purposes of the "special operation" but you're fine with that because it was never about "nazis" or anything... just some good old genocidal Russian imperialism that you adore so much. I'm just not quite sure why you're shy to parrot all of the Kremlin propagandist stuff, not just select bits. You're skipping the parts about nuking Berlin and London and all that shit, as if you don't really believe it perhaps, yet all the things about "nazis" must be absolutely true. No cognitive dissonance?
I don't understand the reason for your cognitive dissonance. There are subjective countries in the world and objects of their influence. Russia is a subjective country, Ukraine is an object of its influence. Ukraine does not have actual sovereignty, even if it has all the formal characteristics of a sovereign state. If this is news or revelation to you, then you don’t understand anything about politics.

Even under your imperialistic and simplistic view of the world, it seems that Ukraine has decided they have a say on  whose influence they are better of with. Even a "subject" seems to be able to choose the "whateverf**k" that fits best.

I am not sure what you call "actual sovereignty", Ukraine is a recognised independent nation and as any country has to live with a range of influences - no country is free to do at will, not even the US, they are all subject to conditions, influences and relations. By now, they have figured out that Moscow would treat them like they treat the rest of the "subjects" - impoverishing them, sending them to die and letting them to deal with the local despot. They want to try something different.

That is very simplistic view...since nation is sociological and not biological fact, its subject to influence and change
Fact is that currently USA can fight with $$$ and Russia has to use weapons...but thats subject to change too,
in next few decades, or, why not, centuries

Lets see what Germans say, then

[link to propaganda removed]

Because the Germans speak with one voice, and you just happen to have found the guy who speaks for them? And it happens that the origin of the comment is a Norwegian guy, involved in propaganda activities from Ruzzia.

I any case, again, irrelevant, the deal was a bogus, it imposed conditions on western democracies and it would only last until Putin felt like taking more land.

Economically, Putin should fail. If the US citizens are convinced that they should "do nothing" then is likely Ruzzia will have some type of success. Europe is one of the few allies of the US in the world, if US fails to support the price to pay would be felt for generations.

Ok, here's another Norwegian for you:
