dead project
The project is not dead actually but they haven't pay their bounty participants. With that been said, I messaged their team on telegram and they said the distribution will take place when it November 18. I think waiting for more couple of days won't hurt.

They already postponed it 6 times, thats probably reason why people are sceptical
I'm unaware about those previous distribution been postponed. Maybe they are scared of the been dumb by bounty participants once they do the distribution. Let's just hope they will distribute the token this time due to the previous postponed that has happened.

See? They broke 7th promised date...it would be the best if they don't promise it, as it will be locked until february anyway.
What worries me is that they probably won't deliver in February, either

1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: November 19, 2019, 08:16:56 AM
I understand the distinction between Ripple and XRP, and it is certainly true that XRP has its own fair share of good news, along with Ripple... but that rarely if ever seems to translate into the sort of price movement we would see for other coins.
Not sure why this is, or how much the token-dumping by Ripple plays a part... but regardless, XRP still has a really solid use case and looks good for the long-term.

My guess: really really rich people see potential, and manipulate price so they could buy large amounts cheap

Every crypto in the market experience surge in price during the bull run you mentioned and my advice to you if you really want make good return from your investment. Don't choose centralized coin no matter the endorsement they had received or about to.

So, no BTC, since its totally China controlled?
Neither BTC nor XRP is control by the Chinese and I don't said no BTC. Could you be more specific with what you mean because i don't really understand your point.
Thank you.

XRP is certainly manipulated but people are mistaking things because the XRP partnership with moneygram does mean investors will get something good out of it.

https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/10/08/china-means-intent-destroy-bitcoin/

"Chinese mining pools control Bitcoin
The paper establishes its thesis by proving the Bitcoin mining ecosystem has become “heavily centralized.”
Cryptocurrency miners have banded to such an extent that “over 80 percent of Bitcoin mining is performed by six mining pools,”
with five of those managed directly by individuals or companies based in China."

Ja uopće ne razumijem projekt. Ideja je što točno? Nas 5 dođe u McDonalds, tamo svira Otvoreni i mi možemo birati koju pjesmu iduću želimo slušati?

1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: November 14, 2019, 09:33:57 AM
Still have some of my XRP position opened since the 2500 area or so. Only XRP trade of this year that ended up in profit. Already took partials. Was going to close however it looks like we can probably reach 5000 sats since ETHBTC and LTCBTC look like they are ready for a break out.

Another indicator is that the BTC dominance is slowly going down and during some moves it seems that whales are dumping BTC for alts. A few weeks ago there was a massive dump on BTC because some whale bought tons of ETH by selling his BTC.

Looks like we might finally get the alt season, however no idea how large it will be. Probably nothing like 2017.

I'd say it's a bad timing to close your XRP positions now, XRP has lagged behind the last months and it should break out any time now, outperforming Ethereum and other alts.
Why has it lagged behind? It has very little demand or usage unlike ethereum

You should inform yourself before posting. It HAS its usage, of course, what it lacks is demand.
But as ODL gains traction, demand will grow too. Price can be affected either by pure speculation (like most
other cryptos, btw) or by usage...and for usage to increase price, current demand should probably go up
100X or more.

However, it happens on a daily basis, as you can see here

https://thexrpdaily.com/2019/10/22/xrp-on-demand-liquidity-is-booming-at-this-rate-we-should-see-further-dramatic-increases/

so at this rate, we're maybe few months away, only

Keep in mind that Q4 is far from over:

Out of curiosity, i want to know if any of the first bounty participant of this project have received their token reward because the project team seems not to talk about it ever since the last bounty end.

According to https://www.bountyhub.io/ telegram chat, no

And my experience with bounties and ICOs tells me that projects
like that don't end well, either

I recently have this problem, posting here because I use this miner, although its probably windows problem.

I start my miner by remote logging and manually starting miner. However, about month ago, win10 changed

behavior...when I shut down remote conection, rig machine goes to sleep after 1h exactly. I did all usual

sleep/hibernation stuff, even some advanced registry stuff I found on net, but nothing works

Anyone had similar problems and solved it?

Edit: Even better - from your quoted article:

BSV is also up 120% in the past six months—compared to 52% for Bitcoin (BTC).
bigger number mean better coin?
ok - let me pull up some random pump & dump coin that just gained 317% in 24h.

BitCoin is the only coin who has scaling sorted,
New World record on testnet 2,734,797 transactions in a single block (528 MB)
 https://stn.whatsonchain.com/block-height/4185

Lets quote article conclusion from my previous post:

"But even though it has been outperforming Bitcoin in the long term—despite falling heavily today—it appears that fewer people are using it.
According to data from Coin.dance, the number of daily BSV transactions has dropped by more than 50% since October 25. Perhaps those
massive block sizes—designed for high numbers of transactions—won't be needed after all
."
