1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to just wait for the price of Bitcoin to come down. on: July 05, 2022, 06:22:11 PM
What is the expected rate of " just wait for the price of Bitcoin to come down."? 12k or less? The difference between it and 20k is not big, but the real difference will be after several years when the price reaches 100k, so in short, what is the right time to buy from the bottom? Today, any delay may make you lazy and you may not invest at all.
So buy now or cry later
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to staking - is this worth it? on: July 05, 2022, 06:04:42 PM
Stacking is not ideal in a bear market situation because it means that these platforms do not have enough money, most of these companies generate money from providing lending service to other platforms and so on.
In addition, if Stacking is not decentralized and you are not able to withdraw your money as you wish, then the Stacking may be closer to a useless gambling.
It is better to invest in traditional methods or Bitcoin.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Zimbabwe resorts to gold coins as local currency tumbles on: July 05, 2022, 05:52:26 PM
If we compare the situation in Zimbabwe, it is similar to Venezuela, and if we look for the level of Bitcoin usage after adoption, we will find that it is less than 5%, so I do not expect the adoption of Bitcoin in that country to change, is there a good electricity infrastructure? Is there a stable internet? Is there knowledge of digital cash?

The use of gold will be good because they do not have an official currency, and therefore it will relieve pressure on the government, but how will gold be ensured? And how to ensure that fraud does not occur?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for July on: July 05, 2022, 05:35:49 PM
Same deal with the BTC sentiment thread for July at the other speculation section.  Check out the chart below.  Next support could be the 800 - 835 range.  It seems to be respected last time as ETH bounced back up as soon as it approached it.  What do you guys think?  Will it be respected again next time or is ETH going below it?
What level of support are you talking about? The price of Ethereum today is about 1,102.41, so I think you are talking about a range from about $800 to $1,600, not the range you mentioned.

Unfortunately, Ethereum has lost a lot of momentum and the price is related to the Bitcoin movement, which may not look its best, so I don't think we will witness a fundamental rise on BTC/ETH or BTC/USDT pair during this month.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4hr chart! on: July 05, 2022, 05:27:57 PM
I don't know, but I was expecting some charts, unfortunately predicting the price in a very short range is almost impossible, so charts like the bollinger band will not be useful, especially with the changing volumes of liquidity. We started forming strong support and resistance levels between the 18.2 to 22.3 barrier, which we have been floating around for a while.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You should not worry about BTC price action on: July 05, 2022, 04:16:24 PM
The problem always lies in the timing, when you want to buy and when you want to sell. If you have no choice but to sell, you may end up selling at a price of 20k dollars, not 100k dollars.
So if you are investing in Bitcoin and you do not want that money at the moment, it will be the best investment ever as long as you do not want to invest in it at the moment.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How quick does the market grow during bull market? on: July 04, 2022, 09:09:46 PM
Keep doing what you are doing, don't sell and invest in the long term for several more years and you may get the best return on the investment.
Do not expect the price to rise again in the near future, as there are many negative variables, but after several years we will witness crazy rises.
8  Other / Meta / Re: Curious Question about Meriting on: July 04, 2022, 09:05:17 PM
I don't think you should give a merit point if you like someone's posts or agree with your ideas, but if you think their post is useful and deserves those points.
As for the number, it varies according to the merits you have and whether you are a merit source or not.
Personally, I give between 3 to 10 points, but mostly it is 4 or 6.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Fashion Brands uses Blockchain Technology on: July 04, 2022, 08:48:44 PM
I think that these brands are trying to look "elegant" or "modern" using terms unknown to society, but they are very popular like the blockchain.
The use of blockchain in non-financial areas is not considered economically efficient or will achieve a better return than using central methods, so perhaps these brands will benefit from the financial situation, which seems to be in its best condition if you accept Bitcoin.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price Hit back $50k this month? on: July 04, 2022, 08:36:34 PM
The best optimists gave a price of about 43K USD, so 50k is an overly optimistic forecast and it may not happen at all.

I think that the previous months were very bloody and we have a near recession risk, so I do not think that there will be a lot of financial flows during the next month that will be enough to move the price in this way.

It's good to be optimistic, but not to the point.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for who are witnessing this market for the first time. on: July 04, 2022, 05:32:58 PM
Enter the market as a long-term investor.
Always leave some cash in hand to buy when the price drops.
Leave enough money to have for six months or a year.
Withdraw your capital early and let the profits grow for more than 5 years.
Learn how to control your emotions and how to avoid emotional investment.
Bitcoin is not a model to get rich quickly but rather how to get out of poverty.
12  Other / Meta / Re: Should rules on plagiarism be changed and updated? on: July 04, 2022, 05:24:54 PM
All the arguments on which the porridge is based are controversial and have not been confirmed, so I do not think that we can judge the conclusions received and therefore we must take into account that the process is done manually and that each case is different from the other.

Personally, I do not see a person who spent more than a year doing plagiarism because it means that all his efforts have become zero, so most of those who do this are beginners.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Misconceptions about Avalanche - Avalanche is a Coin, not a Token on: July 03, 2022, 08:21:19 PM
There are some tokens with a higher value than coins, which determines not the nature of the blockchain, but rather the use. The more the use, the more and more market value you find, even if you are a token.
USDT is a token in many blockchains, yet it is more powerful than most altcoins.

SO in short the use and supply is what give your crypto value
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Then what will happen to your account? on: July 03, 2022, 08:09:54 PM
I do not see a reason for you to use the account of someone who has died, especially since most of the discussions in the forum are of a personal and scientific nature, and therefore the transfer of ownership will affect the quality of participation, as there is no difference between the account that was created now and the one that was created in 2010.
Therefore, there is no reason but to announce to the forum that he has passed away.
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A Centralized Exchange With A Non-Custodial Wallet System - How feasible Is This on: July 03, 2022, 08:00:35 PM
What do you think of ideas like localcryptos, as the money is in a guarantee that represents a multi-signature wallet and that wallet can contain more than 5 signatures so that the money can be spent without the intervention of the platform.
The difference between centralized and decentralized can be the database, if you have a large enough database and number of active users then it can be decentralized easily.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: When I started driving. on: July 03, 2022, 07:39:37 PM
Happy 80th Birthday! 🎉 Perhaps the United Kingdom and many European countries did not experience a crisis like this, except for a similar crisis that occurred in the year 1971 when oil was cut off from most countries, but at that time there was no dependence on it as is happening now.

The world is changing fast and I hope the worst is over and the dark days are in the past, even though reality belies that.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: July 03, 2022, 07:13:12 PM
the decline that is happening now this doesn't deter saylor from investing again and even a 3 day ago they announced another purchase of 480 bitcoins or equivalent with $10 milions.

Am I the only one who reads it differently, if an ardent believer in Bitcoin’s value in the future made a purchase for 10 million then we can’t expect many cash payments in the next 6 months.

In general, the idea of buying and not selling is in itself reassuring to the markets, but these people invest in the long-term, so these currencies will be sold within 10 to 20 years, and therefore unless they are forced, there is no reason to sell them.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: July 03, 2022, 06:59:35 PM
If we look at the currencies of the poor countries, we will find that they are highly volatile against the dollar and therefore Bitcoin will remain volatile as long as it is decentralized, but the intensity of these volatility will decrease because it is difficult to liquidate about 3 trillion from the market within two or three days (therefore, it is almost impossible to get a 20% correction within A day if we reach twice the capacity of the gold market)

The model has changed dramatically during the last years from the first years.
19  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anonimizing your bitcoin on: July 03, 2022, 06:26:18 PM
Privacy is something that needs study and effort because you are fighting unknown people in the dark, so any mistake may cause your identity to be revealed.
Therefore, if you want to hide yourself from everyone, including governments, you must be very careful and act consciously and wisely, otherwise any mistake will cause you a big problem.
Finally, do not trust any device or service, but try to verify yourself or not to use it.

The Coinjoin is just like mixing other coins from other users but it is still traceable I heard someone use Wasabi coinjoin before from a gambling casino to Coinjoin and then transfer them to Coinbase wallet but his account was suspended

I don't think the reason lies in tracking the coins, but because it came to from Coinjoin which is against Coinbase TOS.
20  Economy / Marketplace / Re: %100 to whoever help me fix this on: July 03, 2022, 06:08:43 PM
I don't know where you found that wallet, but it is a scam wallet, delete it immediately and make sure that your money has not been stolen (if it was not stolen, download the wallet from the official links and then send your coins from your old seed)
Next time avoid clicking on random links.
