481  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Foundation of Bitcoin Market on: January 15, 2024, 09:26:39 AM
Thank you very much for the detailed answers. I am very pleased about the interest. I've been reading the press over the last few days. Among other things, a clear statement by Gensler from the SEC. #BitCoin ETFs are legal financial instruments, but #BitCoin itself and especially the #BitCoin network is an unleaglised platform.
He is trying to say that investors should invest in Bitcoin through investment funds, which they can manage, track and monitor all their assets, instead of buying Bitcoin directly, and the government may not be able to prevent you from using your money or force you to spend it however they want, but I see that the approval is positive, so now institutional funds. It has access to something legal, while individuals can invest in the shares of these funds or buy Bitcoin directly.
482  Economy / Goods / Re: Crypto Hardware Wallets for 2024 on: January 15, 2024, 09:03:17 AM
It is difficult to say that the article is unbiased, but I do not think that it will attract the attention of users here, as the focus is on the airgapped system, open-source, SD-card and other details.
I think there are better review lists with more details, such as ----> https://thebitcoinhole.com/, which has reviews of more than 50 HW wallets.
Features such as encryption, additional colors may not be attractive here. Cheesy

484  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: We overlooked this little thing: Bitcoin is officially a commodity on: January 13, 2024, 08:05:45 AM
Now large investors do not need crypto exchanges; they can buy ETFs on large stock exchanges.
Yes, the only difference is that investment funds are forced to buy what it is worth for each satoshi that is printed, and therefore it is more likely that there will be dozens of platforms that may buy Bitcoin and there is liquidity for that.
The only difference between them and CEXs will be that you can withdraw Bitcoin to your wallet in the case of CEXs, while you cannot do that with ETFs, but the target investor group is people interested in the value of Bitcoin, not Bitcoin.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to generate a Bitcoin Statement of Transaction on: January 13, 2024, 07:18:24 AM
Eventough i wouldn't need such a function, so it doesn't really matter to me, it looks like it's on a per-address basis?
I have >10 wallets, some of them have hundreds of addresses... I guess the solution might not be all that elegant if applied to such a situation? Maybe a solution based on an xpub instead of an address might be more suitable (at least, if you don't mind giving up your privacy to the company providing those statements)?
All of these things are available in blockchair. You can go to the wallet statement option and then add any address you want, whether it is a Bitcoin or altcoins address, and there is an option to add XPUB.
It is true that generating such a statement is bad for privacy, but it is better to access the site via Tor.
See how many options are available ↓↓↓

To generate a statement of Bitcoin transactions, you need a Bitcoin wallet that provides transaction history or access to a blockchain explorer. Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can generate a Bitcoin statement of transactions:

486  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: January 13, 2024, 07:10:52 AM
Today is exactly four years since Best_Change started a subscription campaign on this forum.
We wish this company and the BestChange aggregator success in business, prosperity, and a long existence on our forum.
Time has passed quickly. I remember their first week here and doubting that they would last a month, 4 years is a very long time, and I hope that the campaign will continue to be the longest campaign in the history of the forum.
Happy years for green family.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to generate a Bitcoin Statement of Transaction on: January 12, 2024, 09:42:36 AM
There are other services that offer Bitcoin Statement of Transaction, but blockchair is the best, although I think that those who need such a statement are few, since most of those who need it are either store or website owners, and here they will use payment gateways or for tax purposes, and there are programs for calculating tax services. In general, thanks for the explanation. It is good, but the pictures need to be improved.

489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin full node on: January 12, 2024, 09:20:57 AM
how long does it take to download all the blocks for full node?

and how safe is qt wallet full node compared to the ledger?
Assuming that you have a fiber connection or medium-speed internet, you need an average of 2 to 5 days to complete the synchronization. The faster the internet and the better the specifications of your device, the shorter the period.
But why do you need to run a full node?

Hardware wallets provide you higher security, while full nodes such as  bitcoin cores give you greater privacy, so it is better to buy a hardware wallet instead of running a bitcoin core ( if you are planning for security, not privacy.) ledger are a bad choice for hardware wallets and you should avoid them.

The current blockchain size is around 550 MB and the time it takes to download that depend on your internet speed

490  Other / Meta / Re: I wonder if the forum would be much better without signatue campaigns on: January 12, 2024, 08:38:46 AM
sooner or later, gambling campaigns will disappear due to more regulatory restrictions, which will force them to participate in signature the campaign to be KYCed members, which is something that will not happen here. If we remove gambling signature campaigns the signature campaigns in the forum will be limited, and perhaps there are only 4-5 campaigns that can continue.
Therefore, the future of paid posting here is not prosperous, as in the past there were altcoin, ICO, IEO, mixers, and most of these campaigns have disappeared now, and you will notice that in the number of posts (spam) for the coming months.

Finally, the problem of spam is not the paid signature campaigns, but rather the failure to inform us about these posts and the laziness of some campaign managers.

Almost most of us cannot post here ----> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=87.0 However, there are many boards in the forum in which you can post by creating an account that does not require you to verify the email or any personal data, so whoever wants to learn there Many of the sections are available to everyone, and the sections that give rank restrictions are either not related to Bitcoin or the restrictions are set to avoid spam.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: People don't understood btc etf exacly on: January 11, 2024, 09:36:28 AM
whales are still locking the price below certain spot price levels to not hurt their futures contracts until they conclude

they dont want it exceeding 47k the last few days
This may be the most logical analysis I have ever heard about the price. I have heard many analyzes indicating a price of 70k or more in January, but I believe that we will remain in an area between 50k and 60k at best. In general, we are still at the beginning of the year and there is a lot of water that will flow under the bridge, so the possibility of reaching 100k is still possible, especially with all the positive economic indicators.
493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading and Rationing Principle. A Guide to Reasonable Investment on: January 11, 2024, 09:16:00 AM
What you are trying to say can be summarized as:

 - You must diversify your investment.
 - Your investment must be from your profits, or you must not invest with money you need during this year, or you must have an emergency fund before investing.

These tips are essential before trading, otherwise your trading will be based on emotion, and I hope that the price will rise or make profits based on luck and emotion.
However, low risk means low profits, so you must know when to take a risk and the level of risks you will face, and then determine the mechanism for implementing it.

I did not see any of reply containing personal information about you, so why not change the password to something you cannot remember and forget the account, or delete all posts, edit topics to delete word, and send them to the archive. You have a few topics, and all of this will not take more than half an hour.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will Spot ETPs effect the economics of Bitcoin and existing Bitcoin markets? on: January 11, 2024, 08:20:44 AM
How can we prove that Bitcoin purchased through a Spot ETF, thus resulting in the creation of a "trust unit", reflects the purchase of real Bitcoin?

The category of investors who may apply to ETFs is the category of investors who are more interested in speculation than value, meaning that they do not want to buy Bitcoin or invest in it, but rather they are looking for value in trading without risking buying Bitcoin, learning how to generate the private key safely, and selling it in the future, so there will be a number Less people buying Bitcoin and more money for the big whales.
The disadvantage of ETFs is that it is easy for whales to empty the price pumps so that we will not see a crazy increase like we did in 2017.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: If you are investing in the stock market, coinbase is good to invest in now! on: January 11, 2024, 07:50:08 AM
It is logical thinking, but what prevents these funds from creating a platform like Coinbase? It will open the door to everyone who wants to invest in Bitcoin and thus guaranteed demand. They can contract with mining pools to ensure a stable supply of Bitcoin, so at the present time both Coinbase and the shares of mining companies will have a good profit. .
497  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: How To Buy Bitcoin With Bank Account - Step-by-Step Guide on: January 10, 2024, 09:00:18 AM
Good explanation. I see that the price of Bitcoin was 27k USD, so it took a long time to upload the video. I was hoping that you would make a comparison between these platforms, which are the best prices and average costs of purchasing Bitcoin through them, but in general it is a good introduction for everyone who wants to learn more about how Buy Bitcoin, the video length is appropriate
498  Economy / Goods / Re: Mystery Box for $10 on: January 10, 2024, 08:44:35 AM
like.. of what? Copied DVDs? Porn? Self-help Guides? Warez? Roll Eyes

Please be more elaborate, else you will get ignored. Roll Eyes
The activity history and posts made by this account are the characteristics of a scammer. He tried in the lending section, and then exchanged Bitcoins, offering services and now he promises to sell you a mystery box that will be shipped to your home address. Mystery Box was a popular content on YouTube, but now it has become a thing of the past, I think. With shipping costs included, the $10 Mystery Box will be an empty box (if it arrives to you).
499  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: بيتكوين ETF on: January 10, 2024, 08:34:43 AM

500  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are Coinbase now immortal? on: January 10, 2024, 07:48:37 AM
I also wonder about this part. Like what the heck happen BUSD fail but paxos still alive and currently they creating PYUSD with Paypal all this don't make sense to me but binance seems make a new proxy company and make FDUSD
This shows that the problem with Binance, the last thing regulators want to see is more FTX-like bankruptcies, so they are trying to limit the role of any platform that is not based in the United States and is not subject to US regulatory.
I wonder how many stablecoins there are, it's getting crazy that there are dozens of them and this is the first time I've heard about FDUSD.
