Current testing speeds(Neoscrypt):
1080 - 1280-1300 kh/s (non-OC) I'd be interested to know how you achieved these figures. I had a dry test run on my PC sporting a (water- chilled) 1080, and I achieved just over 1300kh/s... but at clocks beyond what you could get on any water-cooled let alone an air-cooled setup. I did set 12Gigs of virtual mem as well. Would be interested to know what parameters you set to claim 1300kh/s at "stock" clocks on a 1080. Using the test neoscrypt test-version. I get 1380+ @ 90%PL +230core and 4404 (+600) memory on a 1070ti so 1300kh/s stock on a 1080 doesn't surprise me too much It doesn't surprise me either but I was thinking I'm most likely missing some optimization parameters. What intensity are you manually setting on a 1080? 1080 can make 1500+ 1080ti can make 2000+ |

I have 650W and 700W supplies who stop working when mining with 2 1080ti's on 100% power limit without other systems (no hdd/cpu/mobo).
Get 750W or more, gold or better.
What kind of 650W and 700W power supply was it? I know what all of you are saying. I wouldn't be mining at 100% power limit. More like 75%, ~185W per card. 185W 185W 100W+ --------- 470W But anyways, I still haven't bought a power supply. Kinda wishing I had last week when they were on sale. 1) Other GPU miners also get better every day, I'm actually really surprised there isn't(?) yet a youtube channel or a blog that lists most profitable coins daily and tells how to mine them. It would take only a couple of days and everything would be leveled somewhere to ZEC. 2) True, 500 billions (of air?) is nothing but believing that something is only rising is just stupid. Long before every housewife buys cryptos they start buying stocks or other assets that are backed by something because they think they are only rising. Guess what happens next? Classic "flipping a coin" example, if you are wrong you will pay me $8, if you are right I will pay you $15. Will you flip? The fact that most of the people won't flip is the main reason why there are so many GPU miners today, it's also the reason why crypto's wont be mainstream very soon. The fear of loosing. 1) Just like in every other sphere there are smart and active people and stupid/lazy ones. There are a lot of such channels with selfproclaimed guru's and a horde of stupid/lazy go to wtm and channels and make every coin there unprofitable to mine  . True, but no more than 2 1/2 years ago all those algos were profitable, if they still were that X17 miner would earn even more. Everyone can't, for one reason or another, mine that latest and greatest copyscam project. There could be X17monday, X17tuesday, X17wednesday and so on but the algo itself doesn't make it profitable to mine. It's those fools who buy those coins thinking they will be rich soon, they are the ones who are paying this goldrush. Actually I know only one new real algo/ project that is coming to help mining markets, almost everything else is just shit. Switched to Zclassic, but not getting the 700+ hashrate I should be getting on default clocks.
Running with 60% power and getting around 550 so I guess its good enough.

No more greedy and the devs of these mining programs, th devs are more greedy than you think. There work isn't worth what they charge us, maybe you should do some math over just 6 months of dishing out dev fees. It's disgusting, and how much these guys make is just bs, take claymore for instance you know he makes well over 100k a month between all his miners and his ass could easily reduce his fee to 1 percent and still make a killing, but does he fuck no, why because he is greedy. So before you start to bitch and complain about miners being greedy why don't you bitch and complain about the devs doing it too Isn't worth, seriously? Write your own miner. bensam1231So, you are still poisoning the air? Today is 6months + ~10days since investment in GPU's. Not taking into account electricity outages, internet problems (yes yes - I live in "third world country" ) and problems with pools, rigs etc. 8.5ROI+(GPU rigs which cost even more now also ). Actually 10 days were required to make additional 3ROI. And you can continue mining 2.5$ on 1070. I'm sure you invested in BTC at 20K$ and now get .... oops only losses. /. Happy new year .... to sucker from "first world country".
