You know guys I used to program Microcontrollers, and these things come with 1000 pages of manuals that you can use to program them with thousands of functions in assembler explained to the death so you can program them using those functions.

But you have only 4 or 5 parameters with your staking and none of your geniuses can explain what either one of them does or if they make any difference! I mean come on seriously
!....lol
The longer silence from the dev the more the confidence that there is some parameter "for friends".
Smth like "Set it equal to 1000000 and you will get 100000 coins a day"  Grin
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 07, 2017, 05:02:21 PM
Night tests results:
As sp said, i used default intensity (28) and --gputhreads 2:
spmod skein: miner hashrate 5900-6200, pool hashrate - 4300-5300
Also i tried to launch Alexis miner with 2 threads per gpu -d 0,0,1,1 etc... and 3% less hashrate and without fees
sp, i know what your kernels speed always close to pool speed, but skein - need to fix it.
Aha-ha all sp "optimisations" of skein are just options setting.
Now I get 440 from 1060 (2200 from 5*1060) with Alexis78

Thank you  Grin

So, the real switch in Alexis miner to get these results is "-t 10" (for 5 cards) or "-d 0,0,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4"?

Thanks.

Beware of pool side hashrate if you try it... It has failed on my end.
Mr. Tanguy also reported a failure on utilizing multiple host threads per single device on a chat we had, long time ago.
The failure we encountered is the same as above. Bigger hashrate miner side. Lower hashrate on pool.
Yes it is so. Sad Sad

Does anyone mine on GTX 1060?
cannot find any sensible calculator for neoscrypt so wondering if 500 kh/s is okay with ccminer?
seems 500 kh/s is reasonable ..I see little diff. avg 600kh/s on GTX 1060
1060 6Gb makes ~900+
1070 ~1150

What miner are you using for this numbers?

Any update for the MAC wallet?

Update will come shorty.

I dont stake at all, just to let you know.
Ok - friend of yours. Someone to whom 20% premine was moved. Тому самому, который тут кидался скринами со 100 монетами капающими каждые 3 минуты.

I hold all coins of course. I mined 4! PoS blocks to test the settings. Nothing more, my wallet is disabled for PoS now.
1) But 24ML coins were moved to another wallets
Tmy8KnnxYQEeQHtsSze8Fx5aAQ5LK1G6h9 - 7998399.99
TnSgSGveQ7xdiaTc6HUtxgiz3qmdvWaFkN - 7997699.99
TqDkHmw1HoWkPBDoYURZXnULjLrPoUhCjM - 7993449.99

2) If not you then someone who had "power" mined all POS coins while noone else had. Because you "forgot" to include default conf file to all other so that noone could POS before that person? Thats the point? I understand that correct?

1. That are the mint addresses, all coins are still on one of my addresses so no, you are basicly wrong.

2.  I didnt forget anything, the PoS config was there since release, I've just added stakemindepth=1000 later on.

Dunno why you try to fud here
2) Ok lets pretend that it was some very smart guy who understood that he need to write conf file manually (though it is my first wallet that ever needed such procedure). That smart guy also mined from the beginning so that he had enough mature coins to start POS. And also lets pretend that he didn't say "there were no "before" POS started instantly".

Can you please explain:
I think it is the first pos block:
https://altminer.net/explorer/TZC?height=1926
Why it has 2631.037828 coins? And not 100?

Why proof of stake 300coins here
https://altminer.net/explorer/TZC?height=1973

What does "Flags:   proof-of-work stake-modifier" means here:
https://altminer.net/explorer/TZC?height=1982

And wy 25100coins in POS block are moving to one wallet Tn3nhyLoyCEtn7eJgiu8bCrdqv3FGb51M7 here after that "stake modifier"

Do you see where i'm going with this?
1) I think you've missed what I ask the dev.
2) I'm just trying to understand whether it is just another scam/pumpydumpy coin or it has some potential. Practically I don't like that dev is staking 1/3 of all emissioning coins. It violates 20% premine and 17% "distribution" as described in the first post. If it will ever happen at all. ~50000 coins a day - in a month it will be much more than "3% for dev". All that suspicious behaviour of dev don't add any trust also.
Maybe if you put 1000000 in some setting it will give you million coins a day (don't send me to sources).  Grin

Dev said that will write a FAQ about staking, so give him some time now.
Ishem, this time wait more than 12 minutes if you can, please?  Grin
Yes of course. But we are asking the same questions from yesterday.
And I'm also trying to remind dev all questions, that they need to be explained thoughly. But he still avoid/forget to answer some of them.

26.6% devfee was lowered, I hope?  Grin

What nicehash-neoscrypt miner are you talking about?

The one this thread is about Smiley
Ah. I thought that nicehash added neoscrypt to their excavator and have higher hashrate.
P.S. Alexis78 neoscrypt is the fastest for 1060/1070(but need to lower OC for 1070). Klaus 813 fastest for 1080/1070(without need to lower OC for 1070)

Will you give any answer to the questions about staking?
Or these questions are in the ignore list?

Whats your question, everything got explained dozens of times how to stake, many people were able to get it running
Ok I can repeat once again. The "documentation" says
Quote
Staking options:
-stakegen=<n>          Generate coin stakes (default: 1 = enabled)
-stakemintime=<n>      Set the min. stake input block chain time in hours (default: 48 or testnet: 1)
-stakemindepth=<n>     Set the min. stake input block chain depth in confirmations (default: follow -stakeminage)
-stakeminvalue=<n>     Set the min. stake input value in coins (default: 1.0)
-stakecombine=<n>      Try to combine inputs while staking up to this limit in coins (20 < n < 200; default: 20)

So. Questions
1)  -stakemintime=<n>. Whats the difference between 24/48/72/... in terms of profit?
2)  -stakemindepth=<n>. What is it? Whats the difference if not "follow"
3) -stakeminvalue=<n> Why not 0.01 or 100? Whats the difference?
4) -stakecombine=<n> Whats the difference between 20 .... 200?
5) What means "XXX coindays, 12minage,0avg age,0 max age"? I had these numbers yesterday, I have them now. Only XXX coin days change.

P.S. And yes it is running. But do you think it is abnormal to understand the process?

Ive posted a standard config with which you are completely good to go, which is working. Coindays/coinweight is your "power" to stake. stakecombine is combining your addresses with low coins to one that is able to stake at the minimum rate, stakemindepth is for min confirmations on your coins.

Gonna explain it more detailed on the FAQ which is beeing prepared.

You dont actually need to understand this, that is why an example config got posted with which you are ready to go.
You know there are people who don't need to understand anything - they get 500h/s from 1060 and are happy, making 2 coins a day.
There are others that try to get more.
So if you have settings it is obvious that someone like me will ask WTF they mean. Other wallets just have default values and nobody ask questions.
I think these settings should influence something, or for what do they exist. Especially intrest is profit so what is wrong that I'm trying to get an answer?
You still gave NO answer.

1) "Coindays/coinweight is your "power" to stake.". Ok, why I have 200-300coin days? Why did it lowered when I got first stake? How it is calculated?
2) "stakecombine is combining your addresses with low coins to one that is able to stake at the minimum rate". Understandable, but whats the difference between 20 and 200? Why not simply to combine everything in a wallet?
3) "stakemindepth is for min confirmations on your coins" If I set it 0 ... what will happen?

And you still didn't answer about 24/48/72. What's the difference? More "power"? If so - what's the formula?

P.S. Couple of hours ago I had some coins in the "Deposit" line. After wallet crash there is nothing. All coins are on "Balance" line.
Staking is enabled, still 12minage, and 375coindays. What doest it mean?

What is the Best Neoscrypt Miner??

Best ive got was 756 with Crazy OC  alexisminer

1060 3gb  Samsung
116 Pl
+235 Core clock
+910 Mem Clock

756 Hashes

Some guys claiming they got 880-900 with Alexis miner 1.0  I dont believe them
Believe it or not

Have I the Wrong alexis miner?  the only difference i see is the intensity that is 16 and i used 15

btw how do I set different Instances on Neoscrypt

--cuda-devices 0 2

does not work
1) Everything is seen on picture: miner, hashrate. So I don't know whether you have right alexis78 miner or not.
2) Use "-d 0,2"
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 07, 2017, 09:19:38 AM
But who cares now about it? Now sp8 is slower than others - point.

So everytime the other coders release faster miners, you want me release a new faster version for free right? Then stop to copy and spread my shit and donate to support my work. Signatum #8 is faster on all the cards I have.
Of course it is "faster" ... in your dreams and words. Alexis78 also "make" only 330 in skein ... in your dreams and words. Your marketing is based on lying - obvious.
In real life Alexis78 = 445 on 1060. In real life spmod8 is slower.

P.S. No miner in my pm. Still afraid of real comparison in skein?  Grin

PoW Blocks generate 2/3 of the coins, PoS Blocks generate 1/3 of the coins.
coin age for PoS: 1 day min. to 16 days max.
Maybe you can explain what does it mean?

You need your coin to age at your wallet for min of 1 day, just leave it there
It is understandable. What is not - "to 16 days max". What that mean? What those numbers about "XXX coin days" mean. Why I have "12minage 0average age 0 max age" and it doesn't change and WTF does it mean?
What those staking options mean exactly?
I asked dev these questions several times already. It is not funny that he doesn't reply something definite. While someone connected to dev post images with staking 50000 coins a day.

P.S. It more and more smell very bad.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 07, 2017, 07:59:25 AM
And your skunk sp8 is slower the some other - point.
Skunk sp-mod #1 was released before the opensourceminer, and the gain from sgminer bin was around +70%
Skunk #8 is around 10% faster than sp-mod #1
Sgminer gave 9 on 1060. Spmod1 was released after ccminer-skunk was available (which gave around 14 on 1060), but yes sp1 was faster for may be 1 or 2 days.
But who cares now about it? Now sp8 is slower than others - point.
