521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - new virtual fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: November 26, 2017, 12:21:39 PM
Bitcore is faster than all other coins and i am sure it will be best
Well but what will happen, if bigger blocks are more common. 20 MB blocks is HUGE and will slow down the network significantly. I think in the future, not everyone can run a full node anymore.
It's only a matter of speed of internet connections. Maybe 9 years ago it was huge, but now with 100Mb available to every housewife, it is not a problem at all.

You can have 100MB blocks right now, without Segwit, with no speed/network issues.  Satoshi originally coded bitcoin for 32MB and that was 9 years ago.
This is exactly what I'm talking about.

Any plans to support hardware wallets (Trezor and Ledger Nano S)?

Integration with hardware wallets (Legder Nano S) is on the way?
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: November 24, 2017, 06:28:58 PM
any benchmark lyra2z? my 80ti only get 3,1mhs
~3300 is normal for 1080ti with public miners.
But it is too late to mine xzc. Difficulty already raised by 1.5x
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRAKS - Decentralised, Open Source, Community Driven Digital Currency on: November 24, 2017, 06:16:56 PM
I have ~6800 sig that I got from 1 week mining sig fairly early on that I didn't bother doing anything with. This translates to approx 1700 STRAK. Based on current network hash rates, it would take me approximately 4 months  to mine this many STRAK. It seems to me that the sig holders will be the one to control this network, but how is that fair? Why can't this coin be a true fresh start, without giving all the power to the people who held some unrelated coin?

6800 Sigt coins in one week means you either mined right at the start when difficulty was super low or your rigs had pretty high hash rate. 6800 coins in a week equates to nearly 1 GH/s of hashing power. With 1 GH/s you could currently mine about 190 straks coins in a day and mining 1700 Straks coins would take 9 days. One week vs 9 days doesn't sound too bad. People have been complaining about the high mining difficulty but we are currently pretty close to average Sigt mining difficulty.
I mined at least 10000 with 2*1080 for less than several hours. So it was possible.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 24, 2017, 05:34:02 PM
tpruvot's release seems to have lower rates poolside than in the miner window.

zcoin dev posted a public ccminer with fix for rates poolside problem Tongue
with this public ccminer (correct pool rates) :
1060 6gb (micron) (70% tdp): 1200 kH/s
1080ti 11gb (70% tdp): 3260 kH/s

will test on 70ti this week end ..
For lyra2z it doesn't matter what memory on board. That's why it is one of the best for top GPU's, just like skunk. 1080 is exactly 2 times faster than 1060/6Gb

Just for information: Dont withdraw large amounts of BTX from Bit-Z.com, always split them!
otherwise:

Dear Bit-Z user:

You have a large amount of BTX funds to roll out need to review.
Please verify the address of the token.
Provide a photo of the hand-held ID and reply "Confirm transfer".
We will deal with you as soon as possible.

what a scam exchange is it? and what does it men large amount - 100-200-500?
cause I would like to have better idea what numbers we are talking about..

Notices for withdrawing:

1. Real-time transfer, you need to go to your registered mail for confirmation.

2. The limit for each transfer is between 1 BTX and 1000 BTX.

3. The transaction fee is 0.5%.

4. A manual review is required when the transfer amount is greater than 100 BTX.

The more this shit - faster decentralized exchanges will leave all those idiots without work.

Totally not worth mining anymore, I started all my 1080ti rigs and getting only few coins.
If 1 coin cost 10$ - will it be ok? Straks to the moon.  Grin

With current supply I doubt it's gonna be worth $0.10
I'm sure 5$ is a minimum right after the exchange  Grin

I'm just wondering how this coin can be usebale and useful locked in masternodes...Total lack of sense for me.
Like any other shitcoin like VIVO DSR INN GBX etc. Only usability is to sell dev's premine.
Sometimes I wonder if these FUDDERS just come in and copy paste some random shit from a notepad they have at hand. If you would have read the OP you would have noticed that this coin has NO PREMINE and all funds that the Dev team gets are from donations to fund the project or to get the coin listed on bigger exchanges, as the current vote shows alot of people want the Dev team to use the donations to get listed on a bigger exchange. This voting ends next week so do your research before posting a completely idiotic reply.
Yes of course no premine on paper but huge premine done in the first days with 8000coin per block.  Grin There are a lot of ways for devs to try to hide premine  Grin This is just one of them.
Yes - many people don't understand that - but thats the point.  Wink

We can't prove ourselves innocent, you can't prove negatives. However you can prove positives. If you can, please so prove that we did have an huge premine. If you can't you're just causing fud and show that you should not be taken seriously and we will not take any more time to try and debunk your allegations.
1) I don't see richlist in explorer ... at least.  Grin
2) 112Ml coins were mined in first days with 8K per block. Who have mined? Of course devs were in the first row. Else it doesn't make any sense.
3) If you can't prove that you didn't mine then you are trying to hype and try to persuade that you should be taken seriously.

Mining almost makes no sense, there will be a huge supply after SIGT swap.
Don't spread FUD - straks to the Moon - 10$ per coin ... at least  Grin

This is a Scam. Holders signatum want to get rid of sigs. The price of signatum will rise on the exchanges, and the holders will drain you this garbage.
Don't spread fud. It is the best coin in the world - going to the Moon  Grin

BTX is slowly going back to $5-$7 and will stay there for a very long time at least until end of Q1 2018.Take your profits
You are wrong. It is going to 1$ ... in your dreams  Grin

50,000 STAK for masternode? Way too much especially if you exchange 4:1 for sigt... (200k sigt for 1 masternode is crazy) Even 1:1 it will be too many coins.

It's simple if you don't have then - buy Smiley
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Denarius [DNR] - NEW "Tribus" PoW Algo >> PoW/PoS Hybrid >> Satoshi Core on: November 23, 2017, 02:02:12 PM
is there a minimum amount of coins that i need in my wallet to start staking? if not what would be a decent amount to start?

Technically no, but the more coins you have in your wallet, the more frequent you will stake.

Also please note that staking right now doesn't pay much as its staking for fees right now. So even a small amount of say a few hundred DNR can earn you stakes daily but like I said don't expect to earn too much as the staking rewards are less then 0.1 DNR at the moment until the coin goes fully POS in around 2 years or so. Unless there is a change to POSv3.
Thanks for the information guys, wasn't entirely sure how the staking worked with denarius.

It's faster to buy DNR now rather than staking it at the moment Smiley

If not better to mine than staking.

BTCHowever some ace' can place a costing chart of mining DNR ?

1. Market price of DNR:
2. Current 1 DNR mining electricity cost on GPU:
If 1<2.. the pricing in market is cheaper than mining .. That should force the market to raise the level of pricing.

I will do that if I could buy that with USD.. But buying with BTC is you need to factor. BTC Transfer fee and Exchange Fee.

at the moment im staking about 1.6k DNR, i only get 0.0001 DNR ~ 0.0003 DNR per day at most. Unless something is very wrong with my wallet, or I have too little DNR Sad

Come and check out a post I did on how to stake DNR faster. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2400659.0
That's because DNR doesn't use auto stakesplit. It's sad that it is not yet implemented.
