21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not buy Ethereum on: June 10, 2018, 11:15:16 PM
Ethereum has a strong foundation in the community and supported by many ICOs because of its great blockchain technology but i think investing on ethereum as of now could hardly give you a decent amount of profit, its price swings the same with bitcoin in short it is weak resistant on bitcoin's influence over the market.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: June 10, 2018, 11:12:59 PM
If one were to buy and hold solid  avaerge coins (not a coin that kicks out and gets 10000% gain), but rather a nice steady gain like eth, Ltc etc (top 20) and starts with 10k, is it possible to reach a million without trading and buying/selling at highs and lows? If so, how long would you predict it would take? Or are most coins not going to last long term, so every 6 months would I have to rebalance with newer coins?
since your post wast made last year it is easy for one to think that this is very possible but due to the bear market we are experiencing right now there's a little chance for a 10k to become a million in just a few years, everything is possible but the current situation always affects the prediction of future prices.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: when do you buy ? on: April 22, 2018, 09:00:25 PM
It's always a risk when we buy, so make sure that you are always ready for the outcome. We buy for low prices and wait to sell for higher amount. It depends on the situation.
the problem in cryptocurrency market is that it is very volatile so if you think it is low there is a chance that it could go beyond those price point although it depends on someone's judgement Smiley
24  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to sell my house? on: April 22, 2018, 08:27:32 PM
This is not a good idea in my opinion. Firstly you must have a house for looking cryptocurrencies in relax.
And this is a big risk. I'm working for buy a bitcoin. We don't need to sell house or car. Bitcoin is cheaper yet.
lol  Cheesy
what if that person is selling a house that is an extra asset on him/her?
it is very good to have a bitcoin or any alts during bullish run just so you know Smiley
25  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: April 22, 2018, 08:20:45 PM
I understand the need to control what happens on the financial market and the need to respect the law, but I think that it's really dangerous to give your full data and a copy of your passport to an unknown entity.
Think about what can do with them. Am not a supporter of kyc especially when it comes to the case of ico.

if you don't want this kind of law/regulation just avoid or keep yourself away on it. to be honest we can't do anything about that since government can impose punishment for those people who dont follow the rules and regulation so if you don't want to disclose any information to unknow entity just avoid it Smiley
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What ICO is better to choose? on: April 01, 2018, 11:55:36 PM
Hello everyone!

Can you give me an advice if what ICO is better to choose. I was new for this, that's why I want to know on how to choose an ICo that has a possibility to success. So that maybe someday if I would given a chance to invest I have the idea which is right to invest my money. Thank you so much...

ICO rating sites could help you, just search through internet it would give you some hot incoming ICOs or if you want to evaluate the project yourself you can browse through the announcement section of this forum since almost all of the details you are looking for are already there and it is up to you if you will participate or not.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee said about Ethereum on: April 01, 2018, 11:51:59 PM
Lately, there are so many who make the speculation that Ethereum will beat the bitcoin price. Including John McAfee also said so and stated the possibility could happen. The smart contracts implemented by Ethereum have allowed companies to collaborate with Ethereum and join to build crypto into a faster payment system than any other system. What factors do you think might allow such speculation to occur?

Source : https://cryptovest.com/news/ethereum-is-central-reminds-john-mcafee/
It seems john is trying to shill ethereum, maybe he has a large holding of it?
i don't think ethereum will surpass bitcoin, it's possible but there are a lot of coins/alts out there that is way better than ethereum.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: The best way to manage free money on: April 01, 2018, 11:47:38 PM
Cryptocurrency investment is the best idea you can put your money on. And it's timely that they are down and that means you can invest on them by volume and just wait for the better time it will go up again.
It seems that the OP doesn't want to take the risk and he doesn't have that time for day trading that's why he is asking for different option.
Yes investing right now on cryptocurrency is a good choice since almost everything is on a down trend up to this day, just by holding it and waiting for your investment to pump you don't need to do day trading and this makes the perfect option for the OP.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell house to buy bitcoin if it drops below $ 5000? on: April 01, 2018, 11:44:03 PM
I joined this market a few months, I also lost a little money. Now I want to have a bigger plan by selling my house to 100% participation in this market. What do you think?
You think I will have another house or I will become homeless  Grin Cheesy Grin
If that house is just another property of yours, why not? It's a huge investment but without taking the risk you won't earn anything so buying during below 5k usd is not a bad idea but you should think that holding for a long term period is a must to earn too much gains.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year of altcoins or down again? on: April 01, 2018, 11:41:01 PM
We are witnessing a strange situation on the cryptocurrency market. Over the past 2 months, the cryptocurrency has experienced a strong correction. But now I hear more and more that soon will begin a large growth of altcoins. What do you think about it, friends?
It is still uncertain whether alts will strive this year or not, honestly bitcoin will still influence the overall performance this year or even on the next few years, bitcoin will still dictate whether we will see an alts party this year since alts are experiencing a huge correction along with bitcoin.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So many Bounty/ Airdrop, I don't know what to join in? on: April 01, 2018, 11:35:52 PM
There are many new Bounty/Airdrop program per day. Almost all ICO has bounty program
I am quite confused what project to join? how to choose the best one? (because we can join only 1 bounty at the same time)
What is your opinion?
Choosing from famous and respectable bounty manager should be an option, they know how to choose good companies and potential coin that could easily increase its price from a short period of time although they are still at risk on accepting work from scam project or ICOs so we should still evaluate the overall platform and team's reputation.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH discussion !!! on: April 01, 2018, 10:42:25 PM
HOW MUCH IT CAN LOSE ETH IN APRIL ?
April will be a good month for Ethereum, just please don't lose hope this market situation/trend right now will not last long as there are a lot of positive news going on lately i believe this bearish market is not gonna last long but will hit hard most coins including bitcoin but will easily bounce back as soon as it ends.
33  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Big gains come with big losses on: April 01, 2018, 10:39:20 PM
To everyone complaining about the current situation crypto is in or questioning why its happening you need to keep in mind that if something triples in price in a relatively short period of time, it can crash just as hard in the same period of time.  I remember when eth had its climb up $1400 people were ecstatic and they thought that we were never gonna see sub $1k eth again when just a few months ago eth was just $300.  This greed brought on by the price influxes is blinding people from the reality that crypto prices cant keep going up forever.
totally true and i think most people complaining about the current situation of the market are those people who enter the market during those ATHs of most coins, well if they just keep what they bought they won't realize the loss so up to this point it's just a matter of how strong your hand is.
34  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hacking is the Big Problem on: April 01, 2018, 10:31:37 PM
Hacking is one of the major problems in the cryptocurrencies. Once you lose your bitcoin you lost it, there is no mechanism to recover stolen or lost Bitcoins. The best way to store your Bitcoins is on disk that is disconnected from the internet.

You are right! we have to store the Bitcoin in an offline wallet in order to protect ourselves, now a days most of the people are protecting and finding possible ways to store their Bitcoin in a secret wallet.
offline wallet is without a doubt the safest way to store your crypto holdings, i heard many stories from my colleagues in crypto trading that most of them got hack without knowing the cause, it seems that hackers are getting a lot more intelligent as the year pass by and they will always find a way to steal someone's hard worked investments.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of cryptos increase in future? on: April 01, 2018, 10:28:09 PM
I think everyone in this forum is looking forward to btc's technological advance, which currently going on is the lightning network.
The price of cryptos including btc is now falling gradually and radically, and now is almost half price of it was in few months ago. (recently mostly according on g20 conference.)

Do you think it might be possible for cryptos to find their own price back if a huge technological advance is found/developed on them? But what if the regulation on cryptos get harsh?
I do know for sure that the concept of blockchain will not just vanish and everyone is hoping to bring/apply it in real-life, but the it seems quite true that at least in currency issue, a cooperate from central governments must be needed.

It is uncertain but we are still positive that bitcoin could go back and recover its value at 20k$. Though it is a sad picture that bitcoin gradually dropping in value over the past few months. But we must not lose hope since if we lose hope and all of us lost hope then bitcoin will be gone forever. We must keep pur support towards bitcoin more stronger, if we join our hands and will hold our btc it will go up again and will attract more users.
I believe there are many believers than doubters of bitcoin market, it seems that technological advancement would be the key for bitcoin's price to recover and reach another ATH once again with less fud and clear regulation of the government on cryptocurrency without jeopardizing the freedom of the people to trade crypto. I'm hoping for another bull run soon because honestly it is sad to see market is falling apart Cry
36  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: REASONS OF ILLEGALIZING BITCOIN on: April 01, 2018, 10:18:40 PM
I am sick and tired seeing thread here on legal about the reasons why bitcoin is illegal on other countries. Its about a hundred same topics. So here are my assumptions hope this would help.

*TAXES
- I think its the main reason of all these. Government didnt know how to categorize bitcoin for their taxation whether it would be on a passive income or not because BTC is also a currency. Thats why its better for them to ban it.

*BANKS
- Crypto becomes a threat to them leading investors to invest on cryptocurrencies rather than them. The monetary system also will change if Bitcoin becomes more popular than fiat. Central banks, which is a part of the government would make some inforcements to stop this.

*SCAMMERS
- This is the good side of all this illegalizations, to protect people from increasing number of scammers on the internet. But if that so, its not a reason why they would stop people from achieving all opportunities bitcoin would give.

Correct me if im wrong, but these three are the main reasons why i think bitcoin is illegal on other countries
if you please to correct me about the classification of bitcoin, bitcoin on the point of view of most governments it is not a currency but rather a security or investment, so the principle of taxation must be under gain on holdings rather than the value of the bitcoin itself.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: March 25, 2018, 11:36:21 PM
I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

Thanks guys!

The answer is very simple, how you are going to earn more profit when you buy the coin at its highest price, those who invest a huge amount of bitcoins back in the day are earning profit because the price is very cheap and now it increase a lot so they are all wealthy today.
Yeah definitely, this is quite a weird question  Cheesy
you don't have to cut loss in cryptocurrency, just wait for another bull run to happen because even you don't know how to analyze charts you'll earn simply from holding it Smiley
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best investment on: March 25, 2018, 11:26:41 PM
i have a 1000 euros to invest what would be the best altcoin or altcoins to buy to have a good profit in short term?
If you are looking for short term i suggest investing on potential ICOs might give you a higher chance of getting profit, buy during high bonus stage and you'll get a lot of coins than their ICO price, but this might be hard since it's not easy to find a very good coin these days.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth trading in such deeps? on: March 25, 2018, 11:19:46 PM
Is it worth trading in such deeps or you should wait until the market becomes stable? I am asking about the short-term trading positions.
why would you wait for the market to become stable before investing, buying during those dips could give you better profit as stability doesn't exist on cryptocurrency market, volatility is a feature of this market that makes everyone earn just by holding their coins, bearish market will be the best place for short-term trading.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: March 25, 2018, 11:15:24 PM
Our country hasn't fully achieved yet the cashless society but right now there's a lot of mobile apps that can be use for paying load, bills and even paying through online in an online shop although crypto currency hasn't fully embraced here the demand on those apps is getting higher as the year goes by.
