222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM locations on a rapid increase... on: December 08, 2017, 07:43:23 PM
Noticed that in the past 3 months, bitcoin ATM locations have increased by 15%. For the past 3 years, it has increased 23-fold.

Great year for bitcoin to even established these bitcoin ATM machines from different parts of the world. I have also seen one in Taiwan that made me really happy and at the same time surprised because that just gives an impression that bitcoin is progressing well from time to time. By 2018, let's further wait for the bigger things bitcoin can offer to its users. People are even much in bitcoin and even new curious ones are now believing in it. No wonder bitcoin ATMs can increase in numbers soon as well.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 The year of the altcoin on: December 08, 2017, 07:19:59 PM
I think the x10 and x100's of several altcoins/platforms are to be seen in 2018

Enjoy the ride brothers and sisters
What a positive noted my friend! I look forward as well on how alt coins will make it on 2018 and how it will also do great like what bitcoin did. Well, this could be possible for a lot of developers now are really striving hard to make their alternative currencies to be marketed well in many ways. Ethereum, for example, is a good way to look because it is being developed and is now accepted by people. A lot of known or famous people as well in the business are starting to educate people about cryto currencies and that is making bitcoin and alt coins knows in the market. I can't wait for the time that these will be all well accepted and hope that 2018 could be a year of that atleast one step to its great success.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: December 08, 2017, 07:13:25 PM
A lot of people now days jumping and investing in the cryptocurrency industry.
If you are not investing in crypto, where do you else invest?
Property ? normal crowdfunding? give your input
If not in cryto currencies like bitcoin, I might start investing in real estate, stocks or mutual funds and bonds. It depends. I can think of that even more. However, I am still sold out to the fact that I am gaining more in investing in bitcoin and this is helping me to be financially free like no any other. It is impacting my well that I can even give more to others. There are so many ways to invest even in small store business but everything requires effort and good thinking. Next in line, I could invest in other alternative cryto currencies maybe.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 07:08:15 PM
Probably the major benefit of bitcoin to all it's users and the other potential users in the future are it's slowly but surely growing in its value for almost 10 years. Bitcoin made its way to continuously show to its users that they are competitive because never the one who invested in it gained its investment double, triple or more times from their original money. Bitcoin can be a reliable currency to believe in and people can count on to that by its amazing track record compared to other crypto currencies.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The price is out of control on: December 08, 2017, 07:01:32 PM
I know that everyone gets excited when the price is increasing but you should probably think about this twice, those who don't have bitcoin yet, should probably wait a little bit more before buying, just to see how things will go in the upcoming hours/days and as for those who already have bitcoin, If you're hodler and you actually can afford to lose whatever you have then just continue to hodl otherwise, you may think about selling. In the meantime, I suggest reading the post by theymos on Reddit, very useful.

Bitcoin's price movement is really out of control for the past few weeks. However, it still doesn't stop people to keep buying and investing in it even the risk of maybe losing everything in a bubble might happen soon. We don't actually know. But that's the nature of any risk when you invest in anything. Whatever will happen, I will continue to invest on bitcoin for the gain is in long-term.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you ❤️ crypto??? on: December 08, 2017, 06:48:55 PM
I love the way crypto can connect people from a different culture.
With crypto you don’t need bank account who needs al your private data.
Just make a wallet and you can receive payments from everyone in the world.

But my question is why do you love crypto?
Why are you interested?

If you like please take a look at our project ✅ https://www.blunner.com

It made me interested in bitcoin because it is helping me gain more income now. This is helping me to experience financial freedom through the investments I made even a few months ago. Bitcoin is also secured and it also speaks to many countries of having one currency instead of seeing discrimination for example in a country with a lesser value of money because of their currency compared to the US. Bitcoin is uniting people and giving much opportunity for those who want to earn.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: December 08, 2017, 06:41:48 PM
"Japan: No Bitcoin Tax, Thousands of Stores to Accept the Cryptocurrency"

article published July, 5, 2017
https://edgylabs.com/2017/07/05/japan-no-bitcoin-tax-stores-accept-cryptocurrency/

"AirRegi is a widely used, tablet-based point-of-sale app in Japan. Currently, around 260,000 establishments, stores, and commercial facilities use this proprietary app to accept payments from their clients."

It makes sense that a transition to accept bitcoin would be underway for more US-based stores.

We know and much familiar that Bitcoin is really open for Japanese people. Japan has embraced bitcoin so well since we also know that Japan is not afraid of great changes to happen. They are usually the innovators of different generations since then. Having that great character like the Japanese, I hope many nations and countries to also accept bitcoin even to retailers and even to different transactions that it would be like how we use our fiat money.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 08, 2017, 06:07:38 PM
Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.

and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.

Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.

would you try this technique.

Seeing this technique would be possible if you are indeed a very optimistic person to the point making impossible to things to become possible. However, this technique to sell you only house for bitcoin investment is very risky to the point that you may lose a house. This is also not practical. Better to start small rather than doing a lot of abrupt things for the sake of gaining more.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: December 08, 2017, 05:50:12 PM
Worldwide, especially in my place, must sell it for profit rather than always keep it!
The government always forbids the use and play bitcoin so that it can not grow fully potential in my place. Surely it remains an advantage if there is a transaction rotation for bitcoin in my country to live.

Common answers why people sell bitcoins is for the reason that people need it and they need to buy something else. May it be something like small or not, people need to sell because probably they have invested and earned much already. And it is not bad to sell it if you have enough or you are okay with it. You can sell some and allow other bitcoins to be on hold so it will continue to grow.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: December 08, 2017, 05:36:52 PM
The thumb rule in case of bitcoin should be never to sell bitcoin. I would be buying if the price decreases for sure. Also its a good idea to buy it every month so even if the price does decrease, one can average down on their buying price.
I agree on this! Whether to increase and decrease bitcoin value, it is right to continuously support it and keep on buying because, in every investment, it is normal to always that risk is always involved. When bitcoin price is lower, better to buy it. But when it is high, better to hold your bitcoin investment and allow it to grow in time. Many of my friends are also doing the same. This way or strategy is effective to us. This you can also try if you would like to consider.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the biggest changes in your life caused by Bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 05:25:49 PM
Many of us here are hoping to be successful miners/campaigners or anything related to BTCitcoin. Some people succeed many people failed. With that said, what are the biggest changes in your life since you started bitcoin? I hope these will inspire other people so that we too can be successful. Thank you very much!
For me, the biggest changes happened to me because of bitcoin are financially I became freer or income are higher than before. Aside from my day to day office work, I also have bitcoin on the side. Investing in it and allowing it to grow. It is good that bitcoin is allowing me to gain valuable asset in my wallet that I can use in the future. This helps me to be worry free as well about my expenses and other stuff.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 08, 2017, 05:13:26 PM
I want to buy some coins. Now the Btc price is around 10000$.best thing is buy btc or ethereum now

This could a good choice to consider. Buy bitcoin now and some Ethereum since both of it is gaining more value than how it started. Both are working well and being accepted by people. Ethereum also is gaining its value more than how we imagine it to grow. Also, buying bitcoin now could be also a great choice to do since it's becoming stronger and stronger as the people accept it.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 08, 2017, 05:01:26 PM
If McDonald's accept bitcoin by next year, that could an awesome thing to look forward because other fast food restaurants may do the same in the future. This could be also a good opportunity for bitcoin to grow wider since people will use it and the demand of bitcoin will also increase. As bitcoin's demand will increase, its value too will increase until the hope for bitcoin to be the future can happen as a currency of the future.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 07:38:20 AM
As oart of the economy I want to ask

•What do you think is the next big thing? by means bitcoin is getting higher and people should now invest in like what they did before.

•What coin like bitcoin you should invest in? is it  bitcoingold? or the next coin that the developers will create

It is true that bitcoin became successful and still is. And thinking which coin should we consider investing next, I think Ethereum could be a good option. Regarding bitcoingold, can be but not sure about it yet. This could be a good time to know more about it. Ethereum now is also increasing it's value so this could be a good choice.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $10K? on: December 08, 2017, 05:22:52 AM
Definitely, will buy bitcoin and share it with all the people I know. People have enormously proved it's capacity to gain it's value in the market. Bitcoin is now changing people's perspective in terms of money for the good. Many are now encouraged to invest more and more and see how it will grow knowing that there are these change by next year to grow in in $40,000. We will keep on encouraging others and believe in bitcoin. Cheers for everyone.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: December 08, 2017, 03:56:45 AM
I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.

Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.
Bitcoin indeed is moving so fast for the past few months. However, worrries should not be an option in this matter. We are all in journey of knowing how bitcoin can indeed make an impact to everybody for long term. We all know as well that bitcoin just started around 10 years ago and still we ate discovering how it moves. We see through the years that bitcoin is levelling up in terms of value and movement in the market. It is becoming more and more competitive to the point that others are starting to invest on it as well.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 might easy to see 30-40k/BTC? on: December 08, 2017, 02:18:38 AM
This is the first wave of the masses guys.  It's pulling people out of the woodwork for sure.  2018 might easily see 40-50k/BTC.  I have a hard time even saying that b/c it seems nuts to me, having been in this so long, but it's really looking like it's going to be the case and it's really not showing any chance of slowing down.  At this point, you're not going to be able to short this, there is way more fiat than there is crypto right now, and you'll be margin called so fast.  It'd be a horrible idea.
As it huge pump now what's do you think in 2018?

Bitcoin value keeps on going high as ever. I agree that BTC is pulling people out of the woodwork in various cases. People are seeing how bitcoin is moving very fast at its own pace. For 2018, we may not be so sure how bitcoin again will continue to exceed its value but we hope that this will always come. Here in our country, bitcoin is getting more and more popular because of its rise and its advertisement on a different social media platform. People are now starting to invest big time and even pulling their savings to also try bitcoin. So I think, 2018 will be a big year for bitcoin again.
