81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 14, 2018, 12:40:21 PM
Both are risky in investing. But bitcoin has a higher risk. But I prefer to invest in bitcoin rather than investing in the bank. Because I have the control over my investment. I wont undergo so many process once I wanted to pull out my investment. And there's higher ROI with bitcoin if you know when to hold and sell.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When it dips . do u buy favorite Cryptos or bitcoin on: June 14, 2018, 09:03:11 AM
Do u buy ur favorite Cryptos on the dips or do u buy bitcoin on the dip? I'm buying bitcoin rn and stop buying other Cryptos. Gotten bored lately.

I believe the price dip is the best time to buy. Any crypto you wanted to have. It's taking the opportunity of gaining for me. Cos, after the dip there is always a pump to happen. Nothing will happen if you panic. That's what I've learned from my last year's experience. I never even considered the dip as discounted days.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto VS national currency on: June 14, 2018, 05:18:52 AM
I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try  to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national  money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.

It will be possible to use cryptocurrency for payment. But not to the extent that you will be put on shame just because you paid in fiat. It will take a long time for this to happen but I believe its already starting.
84  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PNB looks into use of bitcoin! on: June 14, 2018, 12:18:05 AM
TOP official of the Philippine National Bank (PNB) vows to study bitcoin amid Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) accepting stance on cryptocurrencies. PNB chair Flor Gozon Tarriela said they are looking at bitcoin and blockchain technology very cautiously but stressed the bank is not into it yet. “PNB will closely study the disruptions going on in the financial sector. We want to know more about the trends. We want to be aware of what is happening. But as to our plans to venture, we are not into it yet,” said Tarriela, adding that they are in the process of studying its dynamics and its possible effects to the banking business. A bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and worldwide payment system. It is the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central bank or single administrator. While it recognized the potential benefits of virtual currencies as it facilitate the movement of funds at a much faster, cheaper, and convenient way, the BSP is equally cautious of the potential risks including illicit activities such as money laundering and terrorist financing.

It has advised the public that they have to be conscious of the opaqueness of transactions involving bitcoins. To minimize risks, the BSP encouraged existing and prospective virtual currency users to deal only with BSP-registered virtual currency exchanges and maintain only a sufficient amount of virtual currency enough to address transaction requirements. BSP warned that virtual currency users should properly secure their virtual currency holdings and observe security tips to protect the confidentiality and integrity of personal information and transaction details. “The BSP still has to issue regulations on this virtual currencies. But, we, in the banking industry advocate the know-your-customer first,” said Tarriela. PNB’s thrust this year is to go digital. Tarriela said they have launched mobile banking apps to cater to the needs of the tech-savvy market. “The way to go, really, is digital,” she said, adding that this will also help them reach out to the unbanked population.

Darating kasi ang point na we will be living in a cashless society. Kaya using digital or cryptocurrencies will become a must.

85  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find good cryptos? on: June 13, 2018, 07:42:06 AM
Hi,

there are so many cryptos and I find it hard to identify the ones where I should have a closer look.
Obviously one can find cryptos e.g. by listening to shilling on Reddit. But I'm looking for more professional sources like YouTube channels, free/ paid Telegram/Discord groups and so on. What do you use?

ICO has whitepaper. Include there was their timeline and everything about their proect. Also, there are reviews in youtube and other blogs. Take note that, no matter how beautiful the content of the whitepaper is, you must consider if it is really feasible and time bounded. Must have swot analysis before investing.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin will double its value by the end of the year? on: June 13, 2018, 06:15:23 AM
Though there are many good and bad news about bitcoin, still, nobody can really say what will be the end price of bitcoin this year. Anything can happen in 6 months. We need to be wise in order to gain. Don't let FUD affect you. I still believe that bitcoin will recover.
87  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Cryptocurrency have cause deaths on: June 13, 2018, 02:28:13 AM

And pinipili ng karamihan to work during evening.
88  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Critical week for Bitcoin on: June 11, 2018, 10:29:52 PM
There's so much accusations and FUDs on bitcoin. From the start of 2018 the price has rallied from 7 to 15K. Everybody's waiting for a bull. People tend to panic because of the unpredictable price.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin down, altcoin rise. why? on: June 11, 2018, 03:31:58 AM
People now substitutes bitcoin with altcoins ,hence you will see them selling their bitcoins for altcoins that is valuable. While naturally bitcoin fall should bring other coins down, these altcoins that have traders buying become stronger rather.

Alt coins are also convertible to bitcoin and you can buy alt coins through bitcoin. So it does not mean people are substituting bitcoin with alt. Cryptomarket is currently unstable. Not only bitcoin. Even other alt goes down. We cannot justify something just because you can see that bitcoin is falling and some alt were not.

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: February 07, 2018, 11:05:55 AM
Cryptocurrency have changed my perspective in finances and this has helped me gain economically for the past few months. Definitely I believe in cryptocurrency. This is a way of using your money in a digital wallet. This is the future!
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: February 07, 2018, 10:53:49 AM
It is good to invest in ICO if the ICO is real ofcourse. Make sure before you invest, the ICO is not as a scam. If an ICO is successful and you have invested on it, surely you will earn big time right after that.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: February 07, 2018, 10:48:59 AM
i see the future. ether will be 1k$ in 2018.  Cool

Sometimes, it really depends on the confidence level of each individual of where and when he will invest. So if you are confident to invest all your money to ETH, go ahead. But to many, they will split it up to other altcoins.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Almost All Currencies Down (RED DAYS) on: February 07, 2018, 10:12:59 AM
What happened today? As i saw in the market almost all the currencies is down even the BTC is super down. Is time to buy or not? Or do  we need now to sell what we hold or not? For you what is your best opinion or best strategy or best advice to all newbie.

We are aware that not all the days are high and pump days in any stocks or investments. The same goes to cryptocurrencies. Better to hold your coins for now and allow it to be normalised soon. Usually when the time of big holidays are coming like the chinese new year, it happens. So, relax.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will you buy marijuana with cryptocurrencies? on: February 07, 2018, 10:03:56 AM
First, what in the world people thinks of this that marijuana could be bought by bitcoin. I would definitely not since I am not a user as well. We know for a fact that marijuana is illegal in so many countries around the globe so why should even consider this one.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BIG move UP in altcoins today! on: February 07, 2018, 10:00:42 AM
Definitely this will happen since the bitcoin market literally fell down humongously. It's right that the big move up in altcoins shall happen today since people trust altcoins more than ever. However, we will stull see. Better to buy more altcoins now then hold until it moons later.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What else after this massive dip ? on: February 07, 2018, 05:20:36 AM

Those people that have sold properties, loaned thru any network just to invest on crypto are viewed as fools now. Seems like they didn't think the possibilities of this massive news on regulations & bans. What an "easy goers".
As for the future, IMO it is still visible that crypto won't vanished. I'm positively sure that it doesn't matter how low the price or cap would be, what important is people are still interested on the developments.
Investments wouldn't go away.

And who would want to lose everything? Those people who sold their properties and loaned a huge amount to invest in cryptocurrencies was the most confident people/risk takers. This red days for cryptomarket might be quite disturbing for them but it will all pay off.

That a country ban cryptocurrency shouldn't be your reason to decide if you will be investing in bitcoin or not. And most times I tends to think that China banning cryptos and bitcoin dipping tends to be a coincidence, so its not as if China is our core uphold to bitcoin. If you know the Importance and worth of your coin, you should know that you should be HODLing, not for your immediate gain, but for the future.

Yeah. This has happened already last year. Where many countries have banned and regulated cryptos but still it pass and bitcoin recover even higher that the high record.
