243  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be a more secured way of handling cash? on: December 04, 2017, 11:07:26 AM
There's been news going around saying that you need to put in a certain address to able to steal that account. I was wondering if that's fake and bitcoin is a secured way of handling cash.
Many people nowadays are trying to bring up fake news that doesn't makes sense at all. Many were also threatened about the value of bitcoin and how if's impacting the society. We know for real that bitcoin a secured crytocurrency that anyone can invest with.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: December 04, 2017, 09:33:45 AM
I believe that the initial purpose of crypto is to create a digital currency for making transactions quick and easy. However, in reality it has become an asset which everybody is buying and holding. Continuing doing like this will destroy the initial purpose of the coin?

What is your opinion?
Bitcoin can be classified as both. This can classified as an asset because this can give you much resources as you continuously invest. This can also said as a currency as it is aiming to be the new currency of the future for this is made to transact online resources that can a payment for everyone. It depends on how you will use Cryto as a term.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: December 04, 2017, 09:16:02 AM
Well, whether it is growing now or not yet, investing in bitcoin be a good option for you. For almost 10 years, bitcoin has been performing well and proving a lot of those who don't believe in it that bitcoin could be the real future currency.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: do you know about improper use of bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 07:14:54 AM
There are improper use of bitcoin happening nowadays. Just like the other month, a friend told me that according to their study, bitcoin is being widely used by online perpetrators for to transact. Black market is also using bitcoin because a bitcoin transaction cannot be easily trace it's transaction. Many people with bad motive take advantage of bitcoin for these improper use of it.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: December 04, 2017, 06:56:06 AM
In all new endeavors, people are fearful to try or even to really commit on the change. People fear a cashless world probably for the following reasons. They might be fearful because it is unfamiliar to them, no one has made it to the point how it will be comfortable for people to use until and fearful that this might not work out. Us, bitcoin users need to continuously share what it means to use bitcoin in our lives and how it is making an impact to us personally.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: December 04, 2017, 05:12:14 AM
So in the most countries, bitcoin is neither declared legal or illegal. In some it is declared illegal and some are actually allowing it and also promoting their own alts.
So what would a government needs to do to regulate bitcoin in the country? And how can a government actually benefit from legalizing bitcoin in the country? How can it actually support the economic system of the country.

1. In order to regulate the bitcoin, They need to pass a law which specifically to serve as a guide for the people regarding what is the do's and don't s.

2. after legalizing the bitcoin , the government will have the authority to monitor any transactions and they can able to determine and nabbed the person behind the suspicious or illegal transaction aim to fund terrorism activity. aside from that the government will be benefit also in putting tax on every bitcoin transactions which is very in-favor for the possible economic growth of a country.

That's right. In legalizing bitcoin, this need to be regulated well in the government in which this need to go carefully on a due process of passing the law. Making sure to comply with the do's and don't of a certain country. After this, the government will have the rights to monitor the transaction or how bitcoin regulates in that specific country. Legalizing bitcoin could be somehow not that easy. But we don't really know what the future holds and how people in the government will keep their mind open to it until it is being largely accepted worldwide.
249  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: December 03, 2017, 03:34:16 PM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?
Well, the subject itself makes a point about trading. Indeed, even if you have made a calculated research about tradings, joined a lot of bitcoin user's forum about trading, read a lot of news about bitcoin, tried trading as well, there are times that we can still say that we feel uncertain of what we do. This just simply says that in trading, a risk is involved and a lot of courage to start and do it is necessary. Though it will give you much interest in the future, it will also take time to gain its value.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your view about lending coin? on: December 03, 2017, 03:23:45 PM
What is your view about lending coin?
Bitconnect, Hextracoin, Regalcoin, Firstcoin and many more.

I just see profit from lending, where is that profit from?
Lending in any forms is risky yet grows well too. But I think in terms of bitcoin, better to invest it and let it grow on it's own. Trading could be also a good practice for you to try. But in terms of lending, this will just give you much problem to think in time. So to avoid unnecessary stress, better to think twice about the lending option.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isit worth withdrawing $20 in Bitcoin on: December 03, 2017, 02:47:00 PM
I've got a sales account with around $20 in credit, and I can withdraw this in Bitcoin. I don't use Bitcoin for purchases, so I haven't been following the transaction costs. I've got two concerns -
- By waiting to withdraw this money, I may find that the rise in the Value of Bitcoin reduces the amount transferred.
- The transaction charge will be too high, and it will make withdrawals like this uneconomic.

The money is for savings, and I don't need it immediately. I have a continuing relationship with the seller, so I am likely to have more sales in the not too distant future. The big question is - Should I grab the money now, or should I hold off for a drop in either the value of Bitcoin, or the transaction fee?
Well nothing is not worth to do if it's not really needed at the moment. If someone needs money urgently and he or she can't get it somewhere, a 20 USD can be withdrawn for the sake of using it for emergency purposes. But if you have enough money with you, you don't need to withdraw 20 USD in your BTC wallet. You already know this that you just have to hold it and let it earn on it's own.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesian Government Banned Bitcoin on: December 03, 2017, 06:03:34 AM
I am Indonesian, after about 6 years living with bitcoin life, mining, trading and join bitcoin community, from mining and trading i got more income and others benefit but what  happen now? bank central of indonesia will ban bitcoin, Fucking stupid  Indonesian government

https://news.bitcoin.com/indonesia-media-urge-bitcoiners-to-cash-in-ahead-of-coming-crypto-ban/?utm_source=OneSignal%20Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push%20Notifications
Bitcoin has been a powerful tool for people around the world to earn hefty amount of resources. People are gaining economically because of mining, trading and even joining bitcoin community like you do. Most of the banks especially central banks are being threatened by how bitcoin works and how people believe in it. But we know for sure that in time, it will continuously flourish as people will continue to believe in it.
253  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Be A Savior! on: December 02, 2017, 05:17:13 PM
Bitcoin can indeed save a lot especially those that are still unemployed. We all know that a lot of opportunities for bitcoin is growing especially as people start to invest from small amount into gaining a higher value in time. It saves people from economic slavery and it helps people grow their resources as well.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the easiest way to help grow Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2017, 03:55:13 PM
If you want to help Bitcoin to grow in terms of acceptance, the easiest way is awareness and advertisement, Share news on your social media accounts or if you have friends try to discuss Bitcoin about it's current price or your country's own Government take on Bitcoin. If you want stores to start accepting Bitcoin you can ask them politely on their current type of payments and ask them again.if they are accepting Bitcoin, if not ask them again, if they will add or consider Bitcoin as addition to their current payment types with that they might consider the idea of Bitcoin as a payment type.
I would agree with this. Sharing it social media like facebook, instagram, twitter and youtube is a good tool to create awareness on social media. Also, a word of month strategy is also good for a person to person way of sharing new ideas. So if you want to educate some store owners in your area, I think it is good to introduce bitcoin to them little by little and how it works.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: December 02, 2017, 03:13:21 PM
If someone will give me 1 Bitcoin as a gift, I would convert some it into cash. Maybe 65% of it I will cash it out to buy other things and to invest in real estate. The rest of my bitcoin, I will just hold it and allow it to increase it's value. There are a lot of ways to use bitcoin as a gift from someone. Smiley
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k - when do you sell on: December 02, 2017, 01:43:52 PM
Hey guys,

lets make it short:
1) yes bitcoin is the future and the price will increase on the long run, but:
2) we are currently obv. bubbling (what is not happening the first time).

So my question is - do you sell now in order to get a cheaper entry soon?

I think you guys agree that there has to be a price correction in the nearer future...

Thanks for your input!
Well, each individual has it's own preference especially decision when to sell, hold and keep on investing for bitcoin. 11,000 US Dollars worth of bitcoin, this can be sold some of it and to some hold it for investment still. Even though bitcoin continuously goes up and down in its value, it's okay. That's the nature of it though.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: December 02, 2017, 12:39:03 PM
At the time of writing, the BTC market cap is over $16.2 billion. Clearly the BTC market is flourishing.
However, the success of independent businesses is very much dependent on the nature of the business itself. One company could be making a lot of profit while others could be running at losses. It all really depends on what the business is and what goods/services they are offering.
Would agree on much of this. Bitcoin itself is getting a higher value from how it started. And yes, it depends on what goods/services they will be offering for bitcoin. For now, by just continuously investing on bitcoin, your bitcoin can grow as much.
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you still think BTC will never reach $50,000 ... on: December 02, 2017, 12:18:20 PM
... maybe it's time for you to reconsider it  Wink
Could be! But we as we know, Bitcoin's movement is so much unpredictable that can be changed anytime. But considering it probably by next year, this might happen. Bitcoin supporters need to continuously share it with people and give some awareness of its value and how it can benefit a country in the future.
259  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: December 02, 2017, 08:53:13 AM
What do you think a about it? is it good or bad for bitcoin?
As bitcoin community rise, I think that is a good indication that bitcoin is being introduced well by the users like us. It is great that the community is becoming bigger as this will continuously push people in the future to believe and invest in bitcoin. As people will continue to patronize bitcoin, its value as well will increase.

Bitcoin drop about 20% after Lloyd Blankfein comments

Who told you that the fact this guy said this and that about Bitcoin is the reason for the price dropping? It's a garbage. Next month we may see people saying the price increased by 3$ because of Santa Claus or because it's snowing outside.

People need to be used to see such Up and down because in a near future it will be more frequent. No matter who says what or not
Definitely, we could expect more of these in the future. Many will continue to be a skeptic and not believe in bitcoin yet. Bitcoin is a new currency that is in our daily life for almost 10 years like the fiat money that has been believed by ages. Lloyd Blankfein may continuously give his opinion about bitcoin but for us who believe in it, we believe that bitcoin will remain it's value to many. Many have believed already, and we are counting more years to prove that bitcoin will make it.
