Things will eventually boil down to the trust and confidence of the market -- we are talking of the people here the investors and the holders -- bestowed on cryptocurrency. After last year heavy speculation and the eventual crash, many people are now asking if it is really worth it storing their wealth in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. When they see that a simple announcement from the government do affect the value of cryptocurrency, people are realizing that actually cryptocurrency is not truly independent from the government and that we are not yet actually enjoying the benefits of decentralization. Of course, there will always be many analysis on this matter but there is no denying that the confidence in the market is crashing. Let's wait for the reasons when this confidence will be bullish...and hopefully that can happen soon.

Maaring next year of late this year mangyayare. Kaya hodl lang. Keep calm and hodl.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin keep falling? on: June 22, 2018, 02:14:02 PM
today June 22, 2018, the price of bitcoin again collapses dragging all the other cryptocurrencies, again we are in red, until when it will keep falling?

Tbh, I don't know how long will bitcoin keep falling. But there are already some speculations that it will be a bear market for this year. But ofcourse we are still hoping for the best. I still believe that bitcoin would diaappoint us in due time. Let's juat wait.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Disable person on: June 22, 2018, 08:55:28 AM
This is a common thing happens in different countries where the government mandatory give assistance to there citizens with disability, and the sad truth is that the assistance from government is not enough.

This is the perfect time to introduce bitcoin to persons with disability by doing this they don't need to rely only on government assistance, because they are now started to earn there own money to support their needs.

There's no requirements for earning bitcoin. I mean, you dont have be physicaly complete to earn. As long as you know how to use internet and you have money to invest. If you doesnt want to invest then you can join signature camps in this forum for you to earn but it would take so long.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC payments in PHILIPPINES on: June 22, 2018, 08:22:12 AM
I've just visit Philippines to have an vacation. I glad to know that Philippines accepting Bitcoin as payments, like Mr. D’s Artisanal Sundries i buy prepared smoked and cured meats, such as bacon or corned beef and i pay BTC Smiley it's so very nice that Philippines is belong to the Cryptoworld  Smiley

I never knew there was a restaurant who accepts bitcoin as payment. I just wonder if the price of their product depends on the market price of bitcoin or it is fixed? Anyways, I'm glad to know that our country is already adapting bitcoin as mode of payment. This will surely open up interest into crypto world of many filipinos.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the MARKET increase? on: June 22, 2018, 07:09:01 AM
Who knows when. If the demand increases then the price increases as well. You don't have to be afraid of the red market. It's not the end but an opportunity to have more. So right now, "strike while the iron is hot". Choose the coin that you think is the best and has a potential. Buy and hold until it pumps.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is market down due to Eid of muslims? on: June 22, 2018, 02:25:27 AM
With Eid just around the corner across the globe...

Are mulims in crypto space selling and taking their money out from crypto space to buy gifts for their loved ones causing market down?

How come the price of bitcoin was related to the Eid of Muslims? The red market days of cryptocurrencies cannot be associated Eid or any celebration around the globe. This is funny yet annoying. Asking for the obvious answer.

Your logical thinking is invalid. I do know that there will be another comeback on it in the market price in the next few months.

It's not even logical.

Step by step.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: June 21, 2018, 11:40:06 AM
It's irritating to see people saying that after a 20% crash (which happened a week ago or so), that 1 or 2% daily recoveries is a good sign for the market. It's not.

Yeah, correct. It's not always moon but somehow, it also doesnt mean it's forever dump. We can see that the market is recovering bit by bit. It's part of the crypto world, pump and dump. It needs a lot of patience to gain profit. You must earn it. If you don't have patience and trust that it recover, then you will definitely lose.
69  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine Gov’t To Allow Country’s 1st Crypto Businesses on: June 21, 2018, 10:02:23 AM

The Philippine government will allow 10 Blockchain and cryptocurrency companies to operate in the Cagayan Economic Zone.

The companies will reportedly be the first Blockchain and crypto-related firms to legally operate in the Philippines after the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) established a fintech hub with the goal of creating an Asian “Silicon Valley”. CEZA is a state-owned corporation that manages the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport.

Chief of CEZA Raul Lambino stated that they will permit cryptocurrency exchanges, mining, and Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs):

“We are about to licence 10 platforms for cryptocurrency exchange. They are Japanese, Hong Kong, Malaysians, Koreans. They can go into cryptocurrency mining, Initial Coin Offerings, or they can go into exchange.”

Lambino stressed that crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto exchange transactions should be conducted offshore, in order to avoiding running afoul of Philippine law.

Firms are expected to generate employment in exchange for the tax breaks they will receive. CEZA will also require the companies to invest at least $1 mln over two years and pay up to $100,000 in licence fees. Lambino added that CEZA is also looking to build a Blockchain and fintech university to provide skilled employees for the new companies.

Earlier this month, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines issued an advisory on cryptocurrency Cloud Mining contracts, demanding that they be classified as securities.

This is a good start para maadapt ng bansa naten ang cryptocurrency.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: June 21, 2018, 06:06:24 AM
The bitcoin shouldn't be used as a a classic currency anyway, do you buy your bread or your coffee with gold?
Moreover that's true that the volatility of the cryptocurrency makes it actually unsuitable to be a real currency that your shops could accept.

Because of the changing value of bitcoin it is not suitable to be used as payment though you can and there's no such thing that prohibits us from using bitcoin as mode of payment. It will always depend on the person using it, wise people won't use it as a payment especially when the price was low.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now and save some little of your money. on: June 20, 2018, 11:26:29 PM
Buy low and sell high. Right now, the price might not be as high as before but it's a good time to buy more bitcoin. Or if you are hold a bitcoin, keep holding it. Don't panic sell because it will only cause you to lose profit.
72  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Are these billionaires controlling the BTC value? on: June 20, 2018, 10:28:30 PM
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin requires approval from countries ? on: June 20, 2018, 10:00:15 PM
Germany recently approved bitcoin, why exactly is the approval required and what will happen after approval ?

The approval of bitcoin in a certain country is not a requirement. Once it was accepted and approved, it will have impact on the price and its popularity. It is important to be approved for it to become legal but no necessarily needed to be.
74  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What would you change about crypto Exchanges? on: June 20, 2018, 10:10:35 AM
What I do not like about some exchange is the manipulation of prices and trading activities in it. But of course, exchanges are important when it comes to cryptocurrencies, some really need to improve the processing time and the transaction fees must be lesser.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 19, 2018, 11:42:57 PM
Ever since bitcoin price started dropping, most of the threads i see here are : is bitcoin dying?, will bitcoin go green again?, should i hold or sell? etc. I laugh when i see such threads. Every business has a window of opportunity when the market is ripe to enter. This is the time to invest more in bitcoin. Every good investor see every dip as an opportunity to buy more bitcoin and hold. The weak ones see dips and they start to shiver; selling all their bitcoins, even including their altcoins. Please community members, the way we are handling this drop in bitcoin will scare new members from even investing in the coin which will cause a further decrease in the price and the unexpected might happen. Let's have a healthy discussion about our coin even in hard times, and it will attract more people to invest and eventually pump the price again. Friends what do you also think?

If you invested into something and you thought you will not be getting your return of investments(ROI) then you'll be shocked and panicked. Especially whe  you're new with cryptocurrencies. One must be prepared and willing to take the risk before entering in the world of digital currencies. Or else you will just complain and feel uncomfortable when the market is down.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: June 19, 2018, 11:52:39 AM
When will people spend BTC as easily as fiat , not seeing it as an investment opportunity but a better currency for them to use ? Most of my friends that I have currently told about Bitcoin are most intrigued by its rapid rate of growth and not its outstanding features as a currency. They don't really care that it is free from government control , but are more focused on the fact that it has risen xy%

I don't really spend much of my Bitcoin , because I am always in fear.
I am not talking about cashing out , but for digital goods.

How do you spend 10 mBTC on a 5$ digital good when you believe that the same 10mBTC is worth atleast 15$ , probably more.
How much of your Bitcoin have you hoarded , and how much have you really spent ?
I am under the impression that people tend to hoard more with BTC than with fiat , considering it an investment more than a currency

I don't know how to make a poll here , so :- http://strawpoll.me/1793917
This is not referring to your blockchain.info statistic , which includes money you have moved around. I am looking at money you have truly spent vs total amount of BTC you have received.

Overall , I'm trying to look at how much my guess is true by the poll and your estimates of when majority of people will start looking at BTC as a currency.

EDIT : I'm not sure this is the right section , tell me if this should go in General Discussion or so.

I myself doesn't want to spend my bitcoin when the price was too low and would want to if it has a high value. People are depending on the price of bitcoin of when to use it. Really, there are so much to consider before bitcoin to be used as method of payment. Maybe it can be used when it came to a point the price of bitcoin became stable.
77  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph vs Abra? on: June 15, 2018, 03:37:11 AM
Coins.ph vs Abra

Anong mas prefer niyong service pang buy and sell ng bitcoin, at bakit?

Personally, Abra ako when buying and selling at coins.ph pangload ko lang; dahil mas hindi mahigpit ang Abra sa verification.

Ikaw?

Woah. Nakakatawa man pero di ako pamilyar sa Abra at iba pang btc wallet dito saten. Para saken maganda and features ng coins.ph and masasabi ko na secured siya. Very convinient din siya for me lalu na sa pagloload. Malaki yung rebates nya and napakadali lang.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree that Bitcoin is nearly to be just like another business? on: June 15, 2018, 01:40:04 AM
Bitcoin was used in a networking scheme here in our country. People will invest and was promised to have a huge ROI. What's not good is that bitcoin was being dragged to illegal activities. When the fact is bitcoin is really good in business. The upgrading technology will require a digital currency as well where bitcoin is one of the best choice.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: June 14, 2018, 11:47:37 PM
From the very first day that I have know bitcoin, I must say that I have gain a lot of profit from it. Though some are not really from bitcoin because I am earning from bounties and signature campaign. But the root of all of these is bitcoin. I was a student back then but I felt like I was already working. A less hassle job for me of course. And my economic state has improved too. I'm sure I'm not the only one who experience this.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price $15000 in July on: June 14, 2018, 01:36:30 PM
Do you think BTC will be able to touch $15K in the month of july? Or it would be able to recover it's price of Jan 2018. From last four months it is moving around 10K. Do you think it can cross $10K before july? Month of June is going to be crucial or not ?

With the current price and trend of bitcoin, I dont think 15K ill be attainable in July. There are so many  things that's happening right now. FUDs and negative news about bitcoin. But it will soon pass.
