So you've listed the car for £29,000 but are asking £33,200 in bitcoins. NEXT.
When I took the price the exchange rate is around £80 pounds...I have mentioned that BTC payment will regard to the daily exchange rate..so if someone interest when can discuss the price by PM...THANKS
822  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bentley GT continental (2004 ) registed sell for BITCOIN.. on: May 24, 2013, 11:39:33 PM
I just want to see ,is this really going to happen...I think the price will be fixed at 325...only if some extreme fluctuation in BTC value...and I think this also helping out buyers , if BTC price go higher, I will lower the BTC payment as well...vice-versa...
my mistake, the price is 375 BTC...if not extreme fluctuation happen in BTC....

http://deepfriedcat.com/   this website indicated AM hold 24% of hash rate of  entire network... but their first chart shows only around 14th/s...therefore they solo mining around 8.52Th/s.....and it not indicate in the first chart....4% lower than the highest point...I guess this 4% is due to sold out old equipments ..... 3TH for the USB and 0.5TH for the blade....look like we are close to to the top...once again ...I am guesses...

Hover over the lines, and check the dates Wink
That website isn't up2date (and doesn't include the received dividends)

would be nice to get some updates from friedcat on the status of said equipment swap.. i know he's busy but it would sure help with some shareholder confidence right now

No, I think most here would rather he focus on hardware swaps than browsing bitcointalk answering posts from sweaty investors.

touche!  Grin

In the stock market publicly traded companies talk to shareholders once or twice a quarter at most. We're lucky we get several communications a week Wink

In addition, because they moved to solo mining , this may cause we did not get the actual hash rate.....

so why does solo mining result in a lower hash rate?
they may still not get solo mining's hash rate update to their website....I guess.....

The picture of your product at your website.... is just a desk computer.....  explain me why mining rig need a harddisk and a DVD ROM? Huh

We are in the process of taking pictures of our prototypes.  These are just pictures of the cases we are using in our Bitcoin miners
OK, my bad ...can't to wait to see the actual product.

whats going on with asicminer right now?  Any idea of when full hash rate will be back online?
They weed out some old equipment , probably by sold out ,and waiting for new equipment to be installed...
I see some post says that AM planning to  deploy 200 TH in June....

Dividend: 14.19315684 BTC for 7174 shares
NICE ...We had full dividend from AM.... Smiley

Yes, this month I'm paying full dividends since we've gotten over 2500 shares back due to AM trades, I don't need to buy any DMC shares back. Half dividends will continue next month.
Ok, So how long would you prepare for buy back all DMC shares??? Did you post a auction to sell the BTCMC so far??

I've set aside a year to deal with the share buyback so DMC can go private and reboot.

I haven't decided if I'm going to do an auction. I mean, if someone said they wanted to drop 550 BTC on it, I'd sell it without even going the route of an auction.
I remember someone hold 1791 shares of DMC willing to exchang for it ...accroding to the current trading price of AM , that 1791 equal to 162 AM and *2.6 = 421 BTC...it look like nearly worth to exchange to him...what you think?

If someone could gather 2500 DMC, it would be an equivalent price while AM continues to hover around 2.5 BTC.

What someone should do is just start a BTCMC passthrough and buy the shares from me to do it with.

I have no ideal about the BTCMC...because they are not trade in any platform...... Is BTCMC a mining company? if it is , why they did not pay dividend???

BTCMC was traded on GLBSE before GLBSE crashed. Yes, BTCMC is a mining company. No dividends are being paid as per shareholder vote.

WHY WHY WHY? SO did they actually mining?Huh did they actually existing now?Huh?

836  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCT.CO] PAJKA.BOND - 100% PPS 3Mhash mining bond - with free ASIC upgrade on: May 24, 2013, 06:53:31 PM
I still doubt in some areas, because this is my first time invest in bond..therefore I want to know more information about where the dividend come from?

Is this dividend come from the amount you received from sold of ASICMINER's shares?
Yes - partialy. Partialy from dividends on ASICMINER shares I still own and partialy from the mined BTC using my HW.
Quote
Is this dividend regard with mining difficulties?? Is this mean if the entire mining difficulties of BTC have increase then our dividend will be decrease?
Since we have fixed hash rate per bond? is this correct?
Yes, it is fixed hash rate of 3mhash/s and it will upgrade to fixed rate of 15mhash/s when BFL delivers to me.
If the difficulty goes down you earn more, if it goes up (much more probable) you earn less. But keep in mind that if you buy mining HW it is the same or even worse because you have still to operate it and pay for electricity and so on.
Quote
As a bond , it usually have maturity period..I like to know what time you plan to buy back those bond?
Will you use the dividend received from that remaining 200 shares of ASICMINER to pay dividend to those investor? or you just use those shares as a PPS rate?
When I would buy back? Well I would be probably buying the bond back in the case that the BTC price is going down which would mean that the operationg prices would be high in BTC. There is no reason to do that earlier unless the bonds is trading heavilly undervalued - then I could buy it partially back on the market.
Quote
from all the information you provide that currently you want to get back the money you have invested in BFL, If BFL is not delivered and you are a honesty person ,will you use the BTC received from sold of 300 ASICMINER to buy back bond???
Well, if you buy into PAJKA.BOND you are in for both - the profit and the risk.
I believe that BFL will deliver - the question is when.
I am honest person and so if they would refund orders instead of delivering I would buy some other BTC ASIC HW and match the offer I did with BFL HW.
Quote
last question, apart from the BTC your received from sold of the 300 ASICMINER.  Is that the 200 ASICEMINER and the Hardware you use can generate sufficient amount of  BTC to pay out dividend under the current dividend level? ( I like to see a calculation here, I think for most investors this question would be important, because this shows your ability of generating profit or BTC.)
200 ASICMINER shares are 10ghash/s (plus extras from sold HW) and my HW does 2.6ghash/s. That is 12.6ghash/s.
There are 4563 PAJKA.BONDs out @3mhash/s. That is 13.6ghash/s.
The difference is only 1ghash/s and it can be very easily covered with the cash from sold ASICMINER shares for many years.
I am now offering the bonds at a premium - so if they are selling even at a premium I can use the money from the sale to cover them with more ASICMINER shares for example.
But honestly I expect that more will be selling after BFL delivers to me and bonds upgrade to 15mhash/s. We will see where the PAJKA.BOND price goes then.
Quote
I think the last question is most important.

Thanks again for your time! Wink

Regard
You are welcome.

How about if bfl is not deliver nor refund the BTC back to you ? what will you do then?

838  Economy / Securities / Re: Securities Newbie. HELP ME INVEST! on: May 24, 2013, 05:45:06 PM
I have an interesting story:

I first discovered BitCoin near mid November 2013. After reading a bit I felt that mining probably wasn't a way to have much income. ASICs were being developed, FPGAs had been shuffled to the side, except for those already with them.

Sometime in late Nov, early Dec I bought my first BTC. Coinbase was just starting & I found I could buy straight from my bank account. Cool!

But what to do with it? I'm a fairly decent businessman and investor. Invest!

Where? How do you find where? Trial and error is what I tried. But who & what sites can you trust?

I ended up losing lots of BTC at BTCJam.com, thinking that loans are "safe". That's a holdover from the physical, regulated banking world. Not true here. I'm actually a fairly good judge of "character", so I didn't lose all, as I saw that many did there. But I did lose about 30% of what I loaned out. The site itself is fairly good, but the "borrowers" are often not...

While making that mistake, I discovered btct.co (bad name! - I still sometimes forget it) and BitFunder.com (great name!). Both seem to be good places to make investments.

Round about Mar 1, 2013 is when I made my first investments. SDICE, ZigGap, JAH and BAKEWELL. I realized that everything would be thinly traded, so I looked to the securities with the most activity. At the time I knew nothing about ASICMiner and Avalon, I could only see BFL mainly due to their advertising.

When ASICMiner popped up for me was a few days or so later, I think. I bought a share at about BTC0.7. I thought it was way too high. I found an auction where shares had gone for about 0.42 max. After I received my first dividend from it, I bought as much as I could. In fact the biggest mistakes I've made so far have had to do with selling ASICMiner. When I sell it, I seem to end up buying it again at a higher price down the road.

I do think there are other good investments. I like RTM, Cado.AvalonB3, BTCINVEST, and Win.Avalon. Those are all at BitFunder. I also have an account at btct.co, but haven't made any investments there. The obvious heavyweight in the investment world in BTCitcoin is ASICMiner. I do think that there will come a time soon when that is less the case, but right now you get steady income coupled with price growth for your money there.

ASICMiner - Mining Rig production & mining. Currently the worlds largest miner. Shipping rigs to customers profitably.

BTCINVEST - Fund that targets BitCoin growth without Fiat exposure.

JAH - Mining Bond with daily dividend (straight Hashrate based)

RTM - Mining Bond with daily dividend (straight Hashrate based)

Cado.AvalonB3 - Mining BTC with possible growth (currently not yet mining)

Win.Avalon - Mining BTC with possible growth (currently not yet mining)

When I look at an investment based in BTCitcoin, I ask myself these really important questions:

Does it have fiat exposure?  Big exposure: SDICE, ZigGap, btcQuick, BitPride; low exposure: see list above. Fiat exposure means that you will lose BTCitcoin as the exchange rate goes up. You are better to just hold BTCitcoin than have that.

Can I trust the Issuer? This one just takes time. Spend it on these forums. Sometimes it takes a small investment for a time.

What is the expected mining return? The answers here are more difficult  Grin than you think.

Am I being offered a reasonably good deal for my investment? Put yourself in the Issuer's shoes. When the security was created, did they try to set it up so that the share owner would make a good profit, or did they just think of themselves?

Hope this helps.

Enjoy,

-MikeMark

very good peace of writing....I agree with you..  there are a lot of people buying VMC in those days, what you think of VMC..I found they put a normal desk computer's picture to use as demonstration of their product... Do you think they will be another scam?
