Are there any plans from BTCquick to accommodate US investors?
Still not know ,but I guess if BF ask BQ to delist, it may go for direct share system as well as AM.

I am sincerely suggest that LABCOIN to buy the code of BTCT ,and to run a exchange ...since those people are seems miraculous and they look like someone can ignoring any government rules....

Hashrate wont continue to rise exponentially forever. At some point it will taper off and the share prices will go up again.

I believe that Chinese company will at least get some portion in this game ...and I believe AM should be the one ....once that fully custom 55nm come out ,thus 28nm altera based system should be no way to compete with ,due to the cost of manufacture....

I am a medium size shareholder of BTCQUICK , After Bitfunder restricted USA residence to trading on the exchange ..I want to know does anyone has the ideal how will this impact on BTCQUICK, Since that BTCQUICK is a company that registered in USA , will the new policy on Bitfunder affecting negatively on BTCQUICK?
some negative impact like BTCQUICK will be ask for delist from the exchange ?   Sincerely waiting someone give a right answer regard to this matter...Thanks

As far as I know, there's nowhere mentioned US company has to be delisted in BF's notice. Only the US investors have to sell their shares before 1 Nov. there's no update about future plan from Ascension yet. But if you plan to be a verified user in BF anyway, there's nothing to worry about and maybe you can just enjoy the cheap shares. If you are not, then calm down and wait for Acension's update since there're still half a month left.

Thanks for you reply..... I think if BF would not close anytime soon in the future ,I may consider to get more BQ shares.
and I am not a US user anyway... I got verified long time ago....

I just can't accept that massive loss...every time I thought to myself this time will be bottom... and couple of days later, new bottom reached...The current thinking is I know that there is no way for me to cover the massive loss..  390 BTC invested is only worth 115 BTC right now...  70% of its value gone ...what should I do ? I think I am kind of burning myself at this moment.
Please don't burn yourself neither do anything stupid like that.

That being said, as long as you did what everyone everywere suggests, i.e. "don't invest more that you can afford to lose", you can easily think of this as a hard-earned lesson. Definitely not the end of the world.

although that I made 70% loss on AM ,my overall result of my investment still profit at this moment... I do understand that still much better than others...but I used to earned a luxury car, now it only worth to buy a motor bike... Nice time indeed....
187  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: October 12, 2013, 01:10:33 PM

I think the only way is to keep trust in Friedcat, as he may bring a miracle revenge of the cat....
Hoping for miracles is stupid.
I'm holding the shares I have left, at a loss of ~33% (including dividends gains), only because the regret I would feel in the unlikely case they would go up would be much more than that I would feel if I keep them and they bottom to 0.

At least I was able to sell ~half of them.

Hello all,
I apologize for the lack of communications, I have been traveling while dealing with all of this plus the forum outage did not help.

For the moment, I am limited on my comments. As mentioned above the expectancy was to use the funds for other things and not have to worry over a mass exchange. I am hoping to post some of the first news in the next 2~4 weeks regarding some use the funds have gone towards. In the meantime, please try to be patient and understanding. I do get hundreds of msgs a day atm, a lot of which I cannot yet respond to, or just have not gotten to or missed. I hope everyone will be happy with the results of this.

Hope everything goes fine, as a non-US resident, I hope bitfunder keep going.

Vycid's arguments had a lot to do with getting me out of AM. For weeks I saw what he was writing. It kind of annoyed me but I kept reading it anyway. Thankfully, I realized he was probably right in time to keep most of my profits. He didn't have to do it. He would have made decent profits out of shorting AM anyway. I haven't seen a shred of evidence that his actions moved the market. Let's face it, the market only really turned south when the weekly dividends started to dry up. Why did the weekly dividends dry up? Competition, just like Vycid said it would. When I saw ghash.io's hashate outstrip AM's in a couple of weeks, it became frighteningly clear that AM's price was ridiculous and doomed to fall and I got out.

Vycid is a smart guy who had an opinion based on facts and consistently repeated that opinion in public in the face of scorn from many. He would have profited from that opinion anyway. But he got a few small fish like me to escape before being wiped out by the whales. I don't see what he did as being unethical. Unusual? Yes, but not unethical.

Congratulation that you did follow the right signal, I feel upset for myself that when I was get huge profit from AM ,then reentry the stock at the price of 3.3 ,it not only taking away all my profit , it also causing me very close to loss position.. I am so regret ,, but what Can I do ?I think the only way is to keep trust in Friedcat, as he may bring a miracle revenge of the cat....

Hello ,Ukyo:
As a UKYO loan holder , I know that you are really busy at this moment, but however there are still 2 days of dividend are missing for the loan ,I hope you could look into it ,because this small amount of Dividend could cause some really negatively guess of your current state among with  investors.

Your Sincerely

BTC securities is dead...
Not really, just idiots thinking it's a good idea to not run a securities exchange completely with a pseudonym.
however, Those cowards are destroying our faith in BTC securities...
If friedcat could open a exchange based in China...that will be nicer, Since less legal risk in China to operating a online exchange...

When it dropped from 5 to below 4.5 I felt stupid not selling at peak, despite I knew it was overvalued.
When it dropped below 4 I felt stupid not to sell at 4.2, despite I still knew it was overvalued.
When it dropped below 3.5, just the same.
When it dropped below 3 I couldn't believe it was going down so much, and I didn't think it was overvalued anymore, but I still felt stupid not having sold at a higher price.
When it dropped below 2.5 I feld stupid not having sold at 2.5, and realising just a little gain, instead of the huge I could have realised selling higher.
And now we're below ~1.6, and I still refuse to take a loss. But I've finally accepted I could just sell off, and posted a sell for all my shares at the exact price that I need to go on par.
And if it doesn't get filled, well, sure it sucks, but no big deal.
At least now I know finance is not for me unless I can do it full time (and I'm not going to / nor that I could anyway).

I got exactly the same feeling , ahead of BTCT closing , I am more confusing about my AM shares.
199  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 22, 2013, 01:28:28 PM
How long till someone claims friedcat tanked the value of AM so he could buyback some of his shares, then release alllll the hasing power and come back to being on top with massive profits....
This what I am thought too... I think the AM's is undervalue right now!

Possible outcomes:
They get their shit together?
They remain a niche exchange trading Bitcoin at elevated spread?
They get bought by ...?
They try the Trendon Shavers trick.
They are actually trying to save Bitcoin from being cornered by the invisible hand  of  global banking and  we should all be grateful and not ask to many questions?
They have become a CIA puppet in fear of criminal charges and are holding funds later to be seized?
The Japanese tax man is carrying boxes of documents out the door as we speak?

better not,if they got crushed , I got fucked...no doubt , I really don't want to get my coin back at this price!
