Yep both making their own chips for new machines Smiley

I hope their hand job can catching up with the demand.....

263  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: July 20, 2013, 03:01:33 AM
Hi all - I'm excited that Lab_Rat has decided to bring BitFury mining power to this project.  I'm confident that I can deliver on the significant amount of hashpower Lab_Rat wants to secure from us, and in fact it is now my personal goal to make sure that the first chips to send shares for LabRatMining are BitFury chips.  As Lab_Rat states, diversification is smart business, and in this case a little friendly competition won't hurt.

Lab_Rat and I discussed his plans for acquiring the hardware and the terms around landing that hashing power as early as possible.  We also talked about his plans for the operational facility which sound spot on.  I will work closely with him to assist however I can in the rapid deployment of the hardware.  As soon as I have video proof of the units, that will be made available.  As a further step of thorough due diligence, Lab_Rat is requiring me to provide an in-person demonstration of the 400Gh/s working unit.  I totally agree with this smart money approach.

Meantime, we've got a provisional agreement that secures a very early spot in the October queue.  This project comes early enough that I can easily reserve the correct number of full 400G kits, with a soft hold on more product as he sees fit.  With a large an operational commitment as this, I will dedicate a member of the fulfillment team to assure that units go out on time as promised.

I really like the approach Lab_Rat is taking here and I hope to add value in the ways I've described.  I think its a great way to get ASIC mining power at scale.

Cheers,
Dave

Are you sure that you can make that much of quantity of chips? if you use 28nm standard?

ActiveMining: Reaches Its Goal to Fund The NRE to Create the Worlds Fastest Bitcoin Mining Chip

SPRINGFIELD, MO, - July 19, 2013 - Active Mining (AM) and Virtual Mining Corporation (VMC) are announcing today that they have reached their funding goal to provide funds for the NRE required by eASIC.  VMC is in the process of creating the  "World's Fastest Bitcoin Mining Chip"  the Fast-Hash-One 28nm 16 GH/s chip. The Fast-Hash-One machines starts at 256 GH/s with a retail price of $3,999 or $15.62 per GH/s also making it the price leader in the market place. The Fast-Hash-One series of bitcoin mining machines are  "The Gold Standard Of Bitcoin Mining Machines"™

Plese don't lie to your customers...

Maybe you should ask KnC not to lie to their customers:

From their web site:

Quote
This device is being designed in parallel by the OrSoC engineers. It will offer industry leading performance and power consumption per GH. The final specifications for this device are being ironed out now but we can confirm the following:
Minimum 250GH/s per device
7000-8000 USD predicted price
48 Chips (which are being designed exclusively for KnCMiner by ORSoC).
An additional gain of 30% more hashing when the advanced algorithms provided by ORSoC are applied.
Water cooled setup.
Modular Design allowing for expansion at a later date.
Embedded Linux device to allow for standalone mining.
Shipment begins in early autumn.
TSMC says its supply of 28nm chips continues to be low

Highly doubt you can producing them in large quantity..... or just impossible , go to look the news .
You can't producing them...no matter how superior is your RTL code, production capability is the key reason determining you can't do it.

28NM process demand is highly exceeding its supply all over the world. The news above just a typical example ,for further information you can google it.
However,  Is anyone still dreaming that those ASIC mining rigs companies can get its 28NM standard chips into production?

If you still believing that those small ASICs Mining rigs companies can do it ...then you are delusional and too naive...you are setting fire on your BTC investment.

anyone invest your BTC relate with this 28NM concept, I can fairly say that before 22NM become mainstream , you won't see anything return from your current
investment, The time wasting could be a year or couple of years.

Asking you self , what makes you think those manufactures will gives up big quantity of orders which come from APPLE or Nvidia ,instead to producing those small
scale of order from ASICs mining rigs companies?

I heard that VMC had tested its chips? however, can you please upload some picture of the psychical chip and the screenshot of your test result and the snapshot of the laboratory which you used to testing and developing your chip.

Thank You ,if you can provides these pictures~~~

We have had our RTL code tested for feasibility to run on eASIC's chip.  The RTL code was found to be feasible and from the results we have an estimate of the speed of 16 GH/s and power of less than 12 watts per chip.
So, if this code was simulated in computer, can you please upload a screenshot?

I do not have a screenshot at this time.

Can you possibly get those screenshots uploaded within short time? otherwise, how can you make us believe that your result is real?

Sure, as soon as I get something I can post.  Some of what we are doing is still under an NDA, so that limits what I can say or post.  In the next few weeks we will
be moving forward with this project as we now have the funds to pay the NRE to eAsic.
Sure ,it will be great to see anything news from you. I remember that you are building chips based on 28NM standard, Did you found anyone to producing them?

Yes, we will have 28nm chips in a 12 week time frame after we approve our RTL code.
You mean you will producing them by yourself's facility?

Could you guys PLEASE stop this shit. Nobody wants to hear about your global warming crap. Take it elsewhere.

5 is possibly too risk for new investors, regard to reality that 5 would take to long time to recovered its initial investment.
278  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] [TAT.VIRTUALMINE] Virtual Mining - Hash Without Hardware! on: July 19, 2013, 11:17:52 PM
The price differences of TATVM between BTCT and BITFUNDER is large...

I just picked some up on Bitfunder for 0.0024 while it's been staying at 0.0038-0.0039 on BTCT. Oh if only shares could be quickly transferred between the exchanges!
I don't think so , for that price 0.0024 is really great return ,even for 0.003 you still look 230 days to recovery your initial investment if we used 10% increase each time. It is more efficient than buying USB miners..I can't understand why people are dumping it like this, however, it also gives me a good opportunity to get contracts in cheap price.
279  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: July 19, 2013, 11:12:18 PM
6 weeks later, you can possibly get TAT.VM and DMS.MINING for that price .... no reason to risk yourself with PRE-orders from those unreliable companies.( BFL and Bitfury).
280  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [VMC] Official Virtual Mining Corporation Discussion on: July 17, 2013, 10:34:49 PM
So after looking at the website and being as confused as everyone else. I have talked to Ken and here is what's going on:

VMC has 3 components that go into their products that they have for sale:

  • Fast-Hash-One - ~42U (server rack space) - This is the base module, the controller if you will. You cannot buy this by itself. Holds up to 6 hashing cards
  • Expansion Case - $10,000 - 64U - Holds up to 16 hashing cards
  • Hashing Card - $3999/$4999 - Run at 256GH/s

VMC has 2 items for sale on it's website http://virtualminingcorp.com/shop1/index.php?id_category=6&controller=category:

  • Fast-Hash-One Bitcoin Mining Machine - Normally hashing cards are $4999 a piece. However, right now, Ken is offering you your first hashing card for $3999 instead of $4999 and this includes the base module as well. This will get you mining right away. You'll notice however, if you add a 2nd, 3rd, etc card, the price goes up to $4999 per card. That's their normal price. You only get the discount on the first card. You can also order an expansion cases on this page.
  • Fast-Hash-One 256 GH/s Module - Pretty straightforward. Just hashing cards for your base module or expansion case(s)

What about prices of these cards in the future?
Cards will be cheaper in 6 months. Chips cost 3X more to get them fast. After getting everything rolling on the chip, prices will drop, but so will the reward/hash.

Be Smart ,Be prudent...no body is worth to trust ,before anything really happened.
