1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: February 01, 2018, 06:15:39 AM
Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?
It is a big no, bitcoin now is on the first place and the second placer is ethereum. Well, bitcoin is bitcoin and ethereum is a part of altcoins so it is impossible that ethereum will take a first place in crypto-surrencies and replace bitcoin. All alcoins is depend on bitcoin and that also ethereum. Bitcoin now facing a different issues on other country like banning or did accept to their company that's why bitcoin price was affected on this, while in other hand ethereum has a strong demand due to ICO's project that ethereum base.
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost private key. on: February 01, 2018, 05:03:50 AM
Guys what will happen if you accidentally lost the copy of your private key?..it's still possible to transfer your tokens to your other wallet using your wallet address..?? Does anyone know?..thanks in advance
Putting a private key that related the letters or numbers on you or if they given you a private key must memorized this then don't lose the this valued things for you. As long as you have a private key you are safe in scammer.
Then if you lose it,. Sorry dude for your lose it is not traceable by admins of your wallet because you are the one who have a responsible on this. There's nothing you can do just forget your balance their and start again a new wallet hoping that next time it wont happen again.
1183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin price so stable in 2018? on: February 01, 2018, 03:37:33 AM
I am not seeing any stability of bitcoin rather a bearish market of it. This I think is normal, last year this was also felt. Plus, we had been hearing news about the government's action against bitcoin so this factor would be affecting.

I cannot also say that 2018 price for Bitcoin would be stable considering we are at the first month of the year maybe the thread starter want to point out the consolidation of bitcoin at 10k - 11k$. since we are in bearish expect more up and down in bitcoin price and stability may far at this time.
Yeah we are in the first month of the year then if you look up the chart of price movement compared last year or the other year are the same in this year. Bitcoin was dumping on this month or first quarter of the year and it is bouncing back again around last quarter of the year like what happen last year. And other factor of being stable of price now that was some of country are keep banning bitcoin and it is effect the demand of bitcoin and also the price. So, if you hold some bitcoin may i suggest you that hold as you can.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: January 31, 2018, 09:38:20 AM
I forgot my MyEtherWallet password. I don't see "forgot password" in MyEtherWallet website. Is this means that I can't change my password anymore? Anyone have suggestions about this matter? Kindly share it to me please. Thanks!
do you mean private key? or you open myetherwallet through keystone. because the keystone provides the password. and if your password is lost you probably will not find it and you have to create a new wallet.
you must be careful and keep myetherwallet password safely because your assets are in the wallet,
Sorry for your lost dude if that wallet have a huge balance well, then i say bye bye to them. First instruction when you created a wallet in myetherwallet is to keep safe your private and print it into a sheet of paper or save at you device file because you are the one who knows you private key and also you are the one who have responsibility to keep that. If you lose that private key then don't be expect that your wallet was recovered., just create a new one and that time you must keep safe you private key.
1185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good news from Ripple (XRP) on: January 29, 2018, 04:32:07 PM
Ripple total circulating supply is huge. Do you think it could surpass Bitcoin in 2018? If  btc stay stagnant, Ripple would over take it if the price is $4.50. I am worried it will not test the high of $3.50 anymore unless there are tremendously good news from the company.
Some people say that ripple is only a token and not complete coin like ether and bitcoin, though they feel this coin would never rise. In my opinion, ripple can possibly rise upto $200 someday because i hve seen many similar coins which are nothing than a token but still they have crossed $150, how they surged that price?  Ripple has a massive support, it can be higher in price
I was holding now ripple i bought it was 1 week ago at that time all coins are having a red mark in the markets, all crypto's are dumping in the markets at that time. Yes, i agreed with that ripple has a massive support by the other countries like Indonesia they are tossing up ripple and bitcoin is getting banned to their country. We just go the flow of ripple i always monitored the coinsmarketcap for price movement of ripple, for me it is not good for holding in long term.
1186  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merit Explained in Tagalog-English on: January 29, 2018, 02:35:48 PM
Well, you have explained it well. Thanks for the effort and making like a demonstration it is easy to understand specially those newbies or old members here in forum, all these things are highly appreciated of mine. I'm happy to see this thread that only talented filipino can do that.

Hopefully this new implemented merit system did not abuse to some users who have an alt accounts or those buying this merit (smerit) from having a negative trust account. I saw it now in every section here in the forum that having a good quality post and i fell it that they trying to do that in order to have a merit.

~i don't have smerit to send you if i have babalikan ko itong thread mo to send you a merit. Grin
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty pay on: January 29, 2018, 12:29:54 PM
Although I have written a week 0 steak looks sometimes I am glad that you can help me learn why
]

Sometimes, bounty managers are not updated on time so you better be patient on that,
if you have to see the spreadsheet and you have zero stakes on it, there's a reason behind it, though if you think you are capable of having the weekly points you must report to bounty manager.
3 ways to contact:
1. post on the bounty thread about your problem.
2. send him/her a personal message.
3. If the campaign has a group in the telegram for bounty, better message there.
There are some bounty managers who always late in updating spreadsheet it takes about a week before they given announcement,
there's nothing would you do just to wait the bounty manager when is back to online or do what he say.
Upon participating in bounty campaign choose those campaign manager who's being responsible as a manager there some are 2 days interval before going online.

3 ways to contact:
1. post on the bounty thread about your problem.
2. send him/her a personal message.
3. If the campaign has a group in the telegram for bounty, better message there.
At these way you may contact bounty manager if he is going online,
and ask regarding your stake reward problem.

1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Taxing Bitcoins Possible? on: January 26, 2018, 03:51:27 PM
I have been thinking of this for long and the reason being that a lot of bitcoin transaction is going online everyday in many countries and i think government can generate IGR from this if possible. I am not a programmer and i have a little knowledge about bitcoin technologies but i just want to know if it is possible.
Directly bitcoin to be taxed i think that's never happen, because bitcoin is decentralized coin no body big person behind this great blockchain technology.
But, if we converted our bitcoin into fiat then we are going to withdraw any company who accepted bitcoin just like remittances and some bank who recognized bitcoin, if you have noticed when we cash out our money we have an transaction fees either remittances or banks that's already being taxed by our local government.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in this ICO? Please help on: January 26, 2018, 01:33:36 PM
Hey guys, I am a brand new crypto-girl, and I'm thinking about investing in ICO's. The thing is, I shop online a lot and I really need a tool which will allow me to pay with a crypto currency. I came across Bitcoinus ICO, they're creating a cryptopayment processor for online shopping. Exactly what I need. Planning to use it. Any ideas?
Supporting ICO's project is not bad if you knew it that it is worth to support, ICO's project can give real profit when you invested with it but think it over you just do some research before you support and invest to their project. Always check their platform that state how works their project is, and also roadmap and whitepaper you must be check of them.
So miss PinkCrypto good luck to your journey hopping that you are one of their success. Grin
1191  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merit and New rank system in Bitcointalk on: January 26, 2018, 08:05:28 AM

Parang medyo mahirap na mag rank up ngayon. Maraming mga newbie ang titigil sa pagbibitcoin dahil sa bagong patakaran na ito.

This place is not the only source of Bitcoin... Actually, checking the patrol page, I don't see any difference... The number of posts in there doesn't decrease that much... So I think people are still here...
But atleast sir i saw already higher rank having posted on different section here in forum, unlike before puro nalang newbie ang makikita ko making a nonsense post thread. So i think this is great idea of sir theymos hopefully this merit system will works and did not abused to member here in forum especially for those people having an alt accounts or farming merit.
I have some question sir, is there any possibilities that this merit system may abused? how could they knows if some member here already abusing the system?
1192  Economy / Speculation / Re: I missed the boat :( on: January 26, 2018, 07:49:19 AM
I missed to buy bitcoin when it dipped to $9K. Then I missed it again at $10k thinking it might go down to $9k again. And now, I am waiting for $10k but it seems that it will not go below $11k again. I must be the biggest idiot in crypto world Sad
Are you okay? bitcoin now continues fluctuating by the market then if you say that you are missed the great opportunity, then i must be say NO.
Go and invest right now, take a risk and jump in your boat with having a huge amount of bitcoin who knows after a year you did not regret what you have did this year. If you some time to check the price chart of bitcoin since last year, i conclude that bitcoin was rising up every last quarter in a year it means that with in the beer months.
It's not too late friend you still have the time to purchase in bitcoin the boat was always there for you waiting when you will a ride. Grin
1193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many are not prepared: on: January 26, 2018, 05:18:33 AM
What is the coin? Or we need to find it ourselves from the 1000s of coin? Or you talking of btc breakout?
I think the op is talking in the general sense, what it happens is that many people want to enter in a market and want it to skyrocket immediately and that is not the way it happens, you need to find a coins and invest when things are not looking that good then if the project is any good it will begin to show signs that is ready to grow and eventually everyone wants to get in and that is when it skyrockets, those that invest at that point may get 2x or 3x max but those that took a position early can earn 10x to 20x easily.

Exactly, people are usually impatient and want to see their profits right away.  As long as the coin or token has great fundamentals and nice vision then it is a great coin to invest on no matter what the price action because in the long run you will be very confident that the price will rise.  Timing is a great thing to have and looking for great coins maybe hard but it is sure worth it.
Looking coins that have a strong fundamental and also have potential to hold a long run are hard to find and identify.
Yes some people can't wait and hold for a long run mostly some tokens or coins emerging in coinsmarketcap are crashing out.
I experienced that scenario a few months ago i hold some tokens from one of ICO's project, first launched in market exchange the price was so high but after a months the tokens become a shit. That's why i don't hold for a long run.
Being impatience, i think it depends upon the situation much better to read very well their all whitepapers and roadmap the coins that you invested.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALtcoins Prices on: January 25, 2018, 11:29:08 PM
Is there a chance that altcoins may rise up again on the first week of February?
Yes is there a chance that altcoins may rise up but not this month or next month, based on the article that i read it takes 4-5 months altcoins recover by being dip those altcoin who have already valued was slowly recover and pump up again and one of he mention is ripple. It's nice to share here the link but i could not fine again where it is. In my own crytocurrencies is not predictable even the movement price on the coinsmarketcap.
So, much better to hold long term than short term, much pretty assure at the month of December all crypto's are having a huge bouncing back. Grin
1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin need to be taxed? on: January 25, 2018, 03:29:36 PM
Base from my recent post "Does bitcoin could be call a job?" I have read your opinions regarding to that. Doing these things is a form of earning money basically we have income. So does it need to be taxed? Because this is also a source of income, and we might call it as a job?
When you holding bitcoin and stored into your wallet our government can't forced us to task or just asking task. Remember that bitcoin is decentralized no one big person behind bitcoin to manipulate or to control bitcoin. Taxation of bitcoin by our country is that impossible happen, but i think if you convert your bitcoin into your local fiat then if you are going cash out your money there's a transaction fees added in banks or other remittancies. And that's maybe your taxes paid or sort of being taxed.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful out there... on: January 25, 2018, 01:02:01 PM
I just read a White Paper. It is selling 1 million tokens at, roughly 2 USD each. This would look like a nice company to put your money into, as it has a small cap.

But there is a catch, the guy has created 1 BILLION tokens, so this means that the value of the tokens he´s set is 2 BILLION  Grin Grin

Frankly, nowadays you have to read carefully even when looking for bounty out there  Roll Eyes
Well, much better if you shared here if what token is that.
Yes that's the first thing to do when you investing an ICO's project just read the roadmap and whitepaper including the whole team and devs of their project.
So, congrats to him he find a good ICO's project to invest in crypto currencies, many scenario like this that getting rich because of the cypto's investing.
All of us are have a chance to have more profit when it comes in investing in crypto's, but having a dip research is a must. Grin
1197  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Has anyone sold BTC won here in sig campaigns? how does tax work? on: January 25, 2018, 10:01:44 AM
Bitcoins earned from signature campaigns and bounties count as ordinary income and they don't qualify for lower tax rates as capital gains. But then, the most important question is whether we should pay tax on those coins which are still in our wallet or not. Ideally, I would pay taxes only on those coins which I sold for fiat. But if Bitcoin is ordinary income, then we need to pay tax on all our coins, right?

Bitcoin is not an ordinary income because you're unable to directly cash it out from your wallet. If I could pay my taxes in Bitcoin I'd gladly do so directly, but if i'm forced to use an exchange to convert to fiat and pay fees along the way, no thank you. Nobody will make me pay taxes from tokens that are lying on some address without my name on it and that I can't spend on anything in my country but have to use an exchange first. Next thing they'll make us pay taxes for tokens earned in computer games just because theoretically we can exchange them to money on ebay.

Whether you like it or not, the government want you to pay taxes on your signature campaign earnings and airdrop tokens. With each passing day, they are eliminating loopholes which can be used by crypto-users to avoid taxes. Very soon, we will be required to give details of our crypto-holdings. If we hide our holdings, then they will proceed with tax evasion charges.
It seems to me that you're oversimplifying the situation. The government is not interested in our taxes. They are concerned about the level of freedom which allows for the use of cryptocurrencies. I am sure that they have set for themselves the task of a complete ban on the use of cryptocurrencies. Paying taxes is only a formal reason to fight with cryptocurrency. Very soon we will understand but will be late. Now need to create the conditions for the cryptocurrency can be used directly without exchanging for Fiat.
Yes our local governments did not forced us to pay taxes on our bitcoin have from signature campaign in our country because they have nothing to do with crypto currencies. Besides now some banks of other countries and governments recognized bitcoin as a digital currencies that one of the assest of source of income. For me when you pay taxes when are going to cash out your bitcoin and covert to fiat when you cash out there's have a transaction fees on remittances or banks that's our taxes i think.
1198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be the media to spread about crypto? on: January 24, 2018, 03:13:07 PM
As we all know that crypto world is increasing rapidly but still to reach each corner of the world about crypto what can be the media?
I think telling a friends and family about this is not enough.

I have learned these crypto's in social medias through FaceBook, there's some one who posted about bitcoin cryprocurrencies and i starting to follow his post and PMed him that i am curios about crypto's. So that was really help me by spreading in social media's about crypto's and become very well known to the people. I keep asking until i found out that one of my friend work here in forum about crypto's and that's the time he teach me via verbal way of teaching.
The Best medium to spread the word is, "Word of Mouth" and I have personally experienced that.
YES! i absolutely agreed with you sir i experienced with that. Shocked Shocked
1199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: January 24, 2018, 01:18:01 PM
I just quit my office job to have full time in crypto world. I split my time of day to work manything: doing bounty campains, researching good crypto to invest, trading 3 - 4 times per week (not day trading) and may be next time i'll  learn about mining.
Anyone who has been off work like me can share your experiences?
Well as of now crypto currencies are getting dip in the market i think it takes a month before you have earned in crypto's.
I opposed with your statement mate i did not leave my real job even though crypto's now are more profitable, how could you sustain the daily needs in your family when you loss in trading and also that was a very riskier way of earning profit. Maybe crypto's profit will fulfill your daily needs but not the all sourced of it.
Besides, you can work here in crypto's without leaving your real job by participating in bounty/signature campaign it only needs 4-5 hours daily after your work it depends upon on you how to manage your time.

1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin for year 2018 on: January 24, 2018, 11:13:37 AM
In the year 2017 so many Altcoin came into limelight . ETC, WAVE, STRATIS, DASH, ONION and many more Altcoin gained remarkable value. Let us guess Best Altcoins for year 2018?
It's hard to choose which much better altcoins the best for this year, but i picked up coins from altcoins that i think it is the best for me. I stored now in my portfolio Ethereum, Bitcoin cash and Cardano, for me it is the best coins above of all altcoins.
I really bet ethereum i put this now a huge amount while it is dip since last few days because many ICO's project now using ethereum and it is might the cause why ethereum continuously rising up. So, good luck hodlers. Roll Eyes
