81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think Bitcoin is great as an asset and not as a Currency. on: June 14, 2021, 07:56:53 AM
Bitcoin is a currency, it's just  a not very convenient one because of volatility and occasional high fees. But any currency has some drawbacks, fiat currency gets devalued with inflation, while Bitcoin has no such problems, so you can just store it yourself without the need to invest it somewhere. Store of value is also an aspect of money, money is not simply a unit of exchange.

I think, this sums it up, bitcoin depends on how will you use it or how you will make it valuable for you.

Bitcoin is now considered a currency because it is typically a money in the digital world, it is not only a thing for an exchange.

You can store it, trade it, make transactions with it, or depending on how are you determined to make it grow.

82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Goes Down From a Celebrity on: June 14, 2021, 05:32:29 AM
Bitcoin become famous when this pandemic comes and we can't deny that investors increase during quarantine.

I don't think that bitcoin goes down from a celebrity but hopefully that bitcoin will become more popular in the next few years, even if the pandemic ends.

Don't underestimate bitcoin's supremacy in the market, also don't forget that bitcoin proved many things to us.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran also wants to legalize crypto on: June 12, 2021, 01:43:14 PM
El Salvador succeeded in being the first country to accept Bitcoin as legal tender. And many countries are following it right now (like Latin American countries). And now, Iran is also preparing to join them. It is really good to see for the benefit of Bitcoin adoption.

Hopefully, this adoption that they are doing will become effective and fast for their economy grow because there are some countries who are not properly regulating it. Therefore, they will end up banning it again and people will leave their country and go somewhere else where bitcoin is legal.

Sometimes, the government is really the hindrance for people who want to invest in cryptocurrency as it is not practical.

I just really don't understand why they don't do something for it to work effectively just like El Salvador.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't want to hear anybody crying when BTC will reach 1M per coin! on: June 10, 2021, 12:47:45 PM
Let them do their own thing, if they don't want to go in the market now, let them have it their way. It's not worth persuading them because there's no point arguing with these people especially the ones that are strongly opposed to bitcoin. They will continue hating on them even if bitcoin is at the million dollar mark.

That's what it is, ignorant people will still talk some negative words towards bitcoin and it is not a doubt.

Even if the price of bitcoin reach $1million, they will still not care about that because they don't know how real it is and how it works in the market.

Let people invest depending on their willingness to earn and to grow, let them work on their own way and DYOR should be the way for them to become knowledgeable in terms of that.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin as safe as its believers say? on: June 09, 2021, 04:19:17 AM
How do you define "safe" in this case? Bitcoin protocol and cryptography used are secure. If someone managed to get someone's else private key, most likely it's because the owner doesn't secure their device properly.

If you don't have any idea about how bitcoin works then you will say that bitcoin is really easy to access by other people.

Like what most of the people said, that will not happen if they don't have the private key of the owner in the transaction.

Maybe they got its private key that's why they have an access in its coins. Sometimes it is easy to conclude without even knowing the real story.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin on: June 08, 2021, 07:45:22 PM
Still, many people are hesitating to invest on bitcoin although it is becoming much more popular due to the existence of pandemic.

I want them to know and understand how bitcoin works and how important it is to study and engage.

As you start investing on bitcoin you will learn a lot and gain a lot of experience and it is really not a problem for you to improve and make it profitable.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the epidemic have a big impact on Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2021, 06:08:37 AM
This pandemic greatly contributes to the adoption of cryptocurrencies in many countries especially in a third-world country.

People are hoping for something profitable and they found out that bitcoin can be a good thing to fight inflation that's why.

Covid-19 gives way to those people who want to enlighten themselves in terms of investment but the best part is that it is in digital aspects.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be taxed on: June 06, 2021, 07:00:04 AM
Bitcoin is already taxed since few years ago in the countries that Bitcoin is legal, if you are from countries that banned Bitcoin of course they didn't tax it since they think getting source from Bitcoin is illegal etc. But I believe when they already unban Bitcoin, they will taxed Bitcoin because they can't control Bitcoin unless tax it.

That's the reason why some governments are now adopting bitcoin because they are benefiting in some transactions that we made.

There are really advantages in legalizing bitcoin in a certain country and it only depends on how to the government will regulate it just to allow people have financial freedom.

It is much better to live in a country that is open-minded about the existence of cryptocurrency and getting taxes from it is not that bad especially that if it is fair for the citizens.
89  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To be honest about Investing on: June 04, 2021, 06:17:20 AM
That's why DYOR is always the right thing to do in an investment and you should not engage to that without prior knowledge.

Make sure that you know what you're doing and you know how to manage your capital to prevent instant losses.

Investment is not that easy to deal with especially when it comes to market movement. Nothing is certain but with technical analysis, you have basis with your actions.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: I currently cannot own a Paypal, Bank Account, CashApp, etc on: June 04, 2021, 05:57:10 AM
Most of the digital wallet requires you to present your valid IDs so that they have the proof about your age.

But some newbies are stubborn and wise enough to use their parents ID so that they can still access digital wallets like that.

If there's a will, there's a way, but I don't think that is legal in some countries to use other people's valid ID just to become verified.
91  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you done listening to Elon ? on: June 04, 2021, 03:03:50 AM
Since day 1, I didn't believe on Elon Musk although I made his hype or trend profitable for me.

But that doesn't mean that I rely on him, due to my observation and by studying the market, he is really an effective trendmaker in the market.

For those newbies who want their investment profitable, try to understand and explore cryptocurrency by yourself and avoid joining the hype because it might make you lose more money.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im Surprisd btc still alive on: June 03, 2021, 01:37:18 PM
Bitcoin will never die as it is the no. 1 cryptocurrency in the coinmarketcap and if you think that bitcoin will die soon, you're wrong.

There are altcoin who are also profitable but I guarantee you that most of the people know how valuable bitcoin is.

ETH and other coins are just an alternative, if you can't make money in bitcoin then try to explore other cryptocurrencies.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Statue in Hungary on: June 03, 2021, 01:11:54 PM
Do they have any references about the true face of Satoshi Nakamoto to make that statue close to reality?

It is much greater if they have some information about the true identity of Satoshi instead they should make a statue of bitcoin than Satoshi.

But overall, this idea will really help the promotion of bitcoin in some places like this where bitcoin is legal.
94  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding how important to monitor your weekly paid posts on: June 03, 2021, 12:22:16 PM
8. Stop making only marginal number of posts.
Example: A campaign needs minimum x number of posts and I see a lot of users are making only x number of posts in the given week. This gives me few negative impressions:

- The users is a signature spammer, not a genuine regular poster, pretending to be in conversations, do not care about the community, cheating with the campaign manager and the project team.
That is true, I noticed this too that some members do make just exact numbers of minimum post required for weekly posts, this is a sign that such people are not passionate about the campaign they are. I will include that right now.

Beginner users here are just making posts that is relative to the thread but doesn't make any sense which is useless.

We should not tolerate those kind of habit where you are just posting for the sake of the signature campaign without even thinking about the forum's value.

They are just reaching their quota and what they are doing is considered spamming which moderator's prohibit here.
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2021 starting to look like 2013 more than 2017 on: June 02, 2021, 07:32:50 AM
When we look at the crypto market in general, we can see that it has shown similar movements for many years. But this time big companies got involved. We may see a different movement.

It has the same pattern but there are plenty of factors where they will differ in terms of things that will affect its price.

Hoping that we really see a different move from the market because many people panicking right now even if it is not necessary.

If that's the case then we should wait for the price to have bull run again even if it take some time.
96  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cannot puchase Bitcoin. on: June 02, 2021, 03:41:08 AM
Hi everyone. I'm in the UK.
Why are my BTC buy requests being ignored by the servers? I don't get it. Everything seems to be set up correctly.
You might want to mention the name of the exchange in question and also provide some pics in regards to the type of error that you're receiving.

It is funny that there's a huge space in his post and I don't know if I will expect something for that to fully understand his rant about living un the UK and investing in cryptocurrency. It is much better if you will put all the information so that we can fully understand your thoughts regarding your situation. That's some way of technical problems that you need to address to them.
97  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A legend was once a newbie on: June 02, 2021, 02:59:33 AM
All of the people who are experienced or with a higher knowledge were once a newbie before they got in that position.

There's no such thing as an instant success or high rank, you need to work hard for that in order for you to be in that position.

Don't mind the struggle, learn how to overcome it and achieve it as soon as possible.

Don't focus on earning merits, just focus on your goal and your duty here in our forum.

Best of luck to your journey and I hope that you achieve your desires.
98  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are scammers getting dumber? Or is it people they aim for are so naïve? on: June 01, 2021, 02:03:43 PM
For sure scammers are dumb because they are just making crime which have a huge and worse consequences in their life.

Stealing or fooling people will not make them rich enough because investors are getting wiser and well-informed about scams day-by-day.

As they are targeting ignorant people, their victims will surely become aware about that and avoid them.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't believe in digital money? Well... on: June 01, 2021, 05:44:29 AM
There are a lot of people who invest in bitcoin and it changed their lives positively so don't tell us that digital currencies are fraud.

It is normal for a certain investment to have scammers but it depends on us on how we will handle it and secure it.

Know that digital currencies are now profitable and essential when planning to do online payment transactions.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever become a widely adopted global payment solution? on: June 01, 2021, 05:10:19 AM
We are not really in that phase yet where digital money can be used as a payment tool in most of the transactions, but soon, we will.

Hoping that people will see the advantages and importance of bitcoin in our daily lives especially that it has really a value in the market.

There is something more in bitcoin that we should explore not only using it as a store of value because that's not primarily made for that.
