521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding Bitcoin on: November 12, 2020, 03:51:39 PM
You're right about that; in as much as Bitcoin does not rely on a trusted third party or banks,
it also allows you to make use of it without submitting a bunch of documents for verification.
Adding to that, one can send money to anyone across the world without going through long and boring protocols.

That's the beauty of being a decentralized currency, you can do bitcoin transactions freely compared to those who need to use a third party or banking.

Sometimes bitcoin is not reliable in times of need but it is really worth it to invest and still some governments are not engaging to it due to the fact that it is decentralized in its nature. That's the reason why we need to understand and be patient with bitcoin, it is not an instant money, it is not in a mainstream but soon it will.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden and Cryoto on: November 11, 2020, 01:07:50 PM
Let me be specific to only bitcoin, Biden or no Biden, Trump or no Trump, bitcoin will always prosper. Its prosperity is not in the hand of anyone because it is not a centralized currency, it is completely decentralized and open source. People are getting to know it and embrasing it. Let us just expert more prosperity for bitcoin as it is becoming the first truly sovereign currency.

It is really hard to predict what will happen next in crypto world in US when Biden won this election.

I'm only hoping for a positive happenings in bitcoin community and I'm not judging Biden's administration but I hope that he also cares about the cryptocurrencies.

But as bitcoin is really popular nowadays, and it become more popular during lockdown and quarantine, I think bitcoin will still prevail and have an increase in its price no matter what. As we know that bitcoin is volatile, we just need to observe the market and make a lot of predictions that we can rely on.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 09:28:51 AM
No, I just found bitcoin in 2016 out of my curiosity due to the fact that I'm exploring in the internet on how to make money just staying at home. At first, I'm suspicious about its existence and then I did a lot of researched and then I engaged to it. Then I found this forum very useful for me, although it is doubtful at first, this forum helped me a lot when I invested on bitcoin.

I'm proud to say that I learned bitcoin with myself and now I'm benefiting all of the sacrifices and hardwork that I've done in almost 4 months.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: dollar vs bitcoin on: November 11, 2020, 07:28:15 AM
if dollar goes strong agianst btc then btc goes down?

Probably, yes. The only thing that makes BTC strong is inflation and economic crisis, but if the government is not that printing a lot of money then dollar will be much better.

I think that btc can somehow rely on fiat or dollar due to the fact that we traditionally use fiat in most of our businesses and transactions.

I'm happy right now that bitcoin is having a good run, its price is in $15,000+ and that's a good sign for me.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the new US administration be friendly to bitcoin? on: November 10, 2020, 03:50:30 PM
no, it will be exactly the same as the previous one and continue having the indifference attitude towards bitcoin while pretty much the same regulations are forced on any centralized service (such as exchanges) that work with bitcoin.

Maybe there's a changes that might occur as people are now familiar with bitcoin in US. I'm hoping that Biden will take some actions and put some attention into cryptocurrency and economy in their country. Trump really have a much better influence in cryptocurrency and I don't think that Biden will prioritize it that much. We all know that the US economy is struggling due to the pandemic especially that unemployment increases in Trump administration. Hopefully, this election is the way for cryptocurrency to become known more in their country and I believe that this is the season for it.
526  Other / Off-topic / Re: Banks consider covid-19 an opportunity to make money on: November 10, 2020, 02:23:47 PM
With or without COVID-19 the banks will always squeeze their clients for money. COVID-19 comes, nothing has changed. As a matter of fact, they might have seen a golden opportunity out of it. People are running out cash. Many will probably be forced to jump into various kinds of loan opportunities offered by banks.

And this is the number 1 reason why people are getting much poorer and suffer the most amidst Covid-19.

They can't handle their businesses properly in terms of inconvenience during lockdown or quarantine. Loaning is really a risky thing to do and you need a lot of confidence, courage, and positivity to grow the business that you are planning to make during this pandemic. You only have two options, make yourself suffer or help yourself become stable.
527  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 09, 2020, 06:21:19 PM
Not only in the US, but also my country says vaccines are in the final stage before distribution.  The vaccines made in my country are also said to be effective, so this news is not really a surprise.  The question here is what makes all the vaccines different?  now it looks like they are in a race to offer their vaccine and it is sold at a high price for a huge profit.  This news will also not affect bitcoin, because when the pandemic appears, bitcoin prices will continue to rise, and in the future it will too.

The vaccine is really what we need because it will affect all of the aspects in a country especially the economy.

But it still takes a lot of time before we can really benefit that tested vaccine and we are confident and guaranteed that it is actually 100% works.

Maybe, the difference in those vaccines are its effectiveness to human. Each and every countries are doing their best to make the best vaccine that they can bring to humanity to help end this pandemic.

528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a great technology, a digital currency, investment & an asset all in! on: November 09, 2020, 02:42:40 PM
Bitcoin has a lot of potential, it has many things that other currency can't do such as helping other people grow amidst inflation and economic crisis.

This is the best digital currency that I know and most of the people right now are investing on it because bitcoin adoption is somehow growing due to the fact that we are more into the use of technology. This lockdown or quarantine really brought us to engage more in a digital activities such as investing in bitcoin.

This opportunity is a must to grab because bitcoin is all in one when it comes to an asset, but be mindful about its volatility.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: November 08, 2020, 07:10:57 PM
Fiat is good,it plays a very important in daily transaction and if it will be wiped off is cannot just be suddenly, it will gradually be withdrawn if it's effect will not be evidently implicating, but I think they will still have to leave some underdeveloped regions, considering the illitrates, but I think very soon there will be more orientation for people to be able to embrace and use it .

It is really hard to imagine a world without fiat, I admit that.

I don't even think that we can live in a way where digital currency are controlling the way we live, especially those people in rural areas.

In the future, maybe, bitcoin will become more popular than fiat but I don't think that fiat will be phased out soon. Development are still slow in other countries due to economy so I can't imagine a world without a fiat currency circulating the market.
530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One year on the forum -encouragement- on: November 08, 2020, 05:02:46 PM
This forum is a great place for those that want to learn and are opened to new things. Even though some people say that this place is not friendly towards new people,I think that isnt true,as long you have good and honest intentions.

There's nothing wrong with being honest and being criticized is really good especially that it will help you learn and grow more.

Being frank towards someone is really not a bad thing, just don't take it personally and maybe that people who saw your post is willing to help you grow. This forum is really a user-friendly platform where you can give each other's advices, opinion, knowledge, and thoughts towards a certain topic. 531  Economy / Economics / Re: Is COVID-19 an excuse for governments & central banks to print money? on: November 08, 2020, 04:30:30 PM
What do you think their true intentions are?

The current system cannot be fixed, the longer it's kept alive the worse off the world will be.

Humanity has a chance to jump off a sinking ship.

Thank god we have a lifeboat - Bitcoin!

Probably, if they are printing a lot of money and they know that inflation might exist, I think that they also know how to resolve it.

If they make a problem without solution then probably economy will be messed up.

We are really lucky that we are introduced to bitcoin because it has a lot of advantages and benefits that we can get from it if we believe and invest on it.
532  Economy / Economics / Re: Need of the hour : Use the Crisis on: November 07, 2020, 08:23:20 AM
If you are not a business-minded person, that you should! We are living in a pandemic right now where we can't go outside and do our job. Thinking of something where we can make profit is really an advantage and good thing to do while we are in a new normal. We need to adjust and adapt depending on our situation right now.

Start a business that will help you sustain your needs such as online shops.

That kind of investment is really popular nowadays because people are preferring to shop online instead of going into malls.

Opportunity are not always there so don't waste it and make it as your advantage.
533  Economy / Economics / Re: This is why bitcoin HAS to go up on: November 07, 2020, 07:52:43 AM
Bitcoin is drastically high this time around due to large amounts of volume and usage globally

I think Op can be right about the devaluation of dollar having effect on the price of bitcoin. Dollar is a major converting currency for bitcoin and price or strength of dollar has been dropping either because of the fomo in the election, this is affecting the price of bitcoin as it is increasing since the beginning of the election and the direction of the results create more fear.

Most of the countries are making dollar as the basis of their currency, so it is much clearer that bitcoin can possibly have changes in its value.

As inflation are increasing and getting worsen by this pandemic, bitcoin has a lot of potential to increase its price higher than today.

Bitcoin holders are rooting for this to happen, to have a positive movement in the price of bitcoin. Dollar is going down which is a turning point for bitcoin investors.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 07, 2020, 07:11:07 AM
Bitcoin cannot be accepted for payment in online stores bitcoin is not yet supported in all countries so no one will be able to buy directly with bitcoin this is possible through credit or debit cards bitcoin should also be used in online stores by converting bitcoin into fiat currency and making payments. Buying products using bitcoin in online stores will increase the demand for bitcoin and will maintain a lot of security in transactions bitcoin will take a long time to use in the online store

Although it is not supported in your country, bitcoin has a decentralized nature so it is your choice if you will accept it as an online payment in your business. Don't mind the society, if you know that bitcoin is worth it to have and to hold as an asset, then do it. Bitcoin is getting popular nowadays especially that people who are staying at home are getting curious about its existence and benefit. Although bitcoin needs a lot of time to become fully adopted in our society, sooner or later, bitcoin has the potential to become the best cryptocurrency to use in any transaction besides fiat.

537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder: There Is No Such Thing As Easy Money on: November 06, 2020, 01:46:37 PM
These types of false, fake, scam things are mostly promoted in social media. Facebook is one of the big place of promoting these scam sites. Twitter act as little than Facebook. So I will request of the newbies to don't trust the social media unrealistic invitations. Mainly some earning related Facebook groups/channels. Also, keep in mind that the more easy way to earn money the more chance to be a scam.

I think most of the common fake schemes are existing in Twitter and criminals are using famous personality to bait someone.

That's the reason why people are getting fooled by them, they are urging to have an easy money, relying on those fake giveaways and gifts even if there's no such thing like that. So when you see something like that, something that is very suspicious, don't hesitate to ask and inform other people regarding that.

It is much worth it if you work so hard to become successful and that's the thing that we should do with our investments.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 05, 2020, 06:25:52 PM
Amidst this pandemic, I only hold some of my bitcoin and monitor the market. It is really hard to spend bitcoin and trade it because of this crisis and I'm looking forward to trade it when I think that I'm on the right time. I mainly use bitcoin as an investment and I never spend it for some other sustenance purposes for this quarantine. Also, there's no bitcoin ATM near our place and it is hard to utilize bitcoin when buying my needs in daily lives. Just hold and be patient, be observant and do your best to fight volatility in the market. I know that I'm not the only one who are struggling right now due to pandemic and most of us are suffering and forced to spend bitcoin for our necessities.
539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Complete Guide for Beginners on: November 05, 2020, 05:49:36 PM
Wow, another great source of learning about Bitcoin. I find the website pretty newbie-friendly, especially it is full of resources about Bitcoin.
But just a piece of advice for everyone especially those beginners who may try to use this kind of website, always do multiple research or confirm it with different sources, everything now on the internet may be fake news or not legit.
Btw, thanks yazher for sharing this.

The way that he provided a picture is really a good technique in helping newbies to visualize or have an idea on what is the OP talking about.

Bitcoin is not that easy to learn, it is not that easy to handle, but with full willingness and dedication, you can make it grow with yourself. The thing that those beginners are looking for is something that will help them become rich instantly. We all know that bitcoin is volatile and it is really hard to say when will your assets will grow depending on the market situations.

This post is not enough for us to learn the whole bitcoin and YES, doing some research is really a big help.
540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why aren't more businesses and investment funds buying Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2020, 02:02:39 PM
Because a lot of these companies instead(ands hould) use their cash to actually grow the company, not to buy speculative assets. If they were to buy things that they just think would go up in value, then they should've just started an investment fund instead.

That's the problem, that's the main problem that we need to change because most of the businesses are settling in using cash for their businesses. We need to change that mindset because bitcoin is good for investment, buying bitcoin is good but it does need a lot of courage when dealing with risks. Bitcoin is volatile and that's the thing that are holding them back before engaging to it.

We are in a more advance and evolved transaction and economy so we need also to adapt and know that bitcoin is existing in the market to help us become successful and grow.
