Can anyone tell me if it's possible to mine while the plot is still being generated?
or one should wait until the plot is complete?

It should reread the plot on every block afaik.
Yeah, it re-reads the whole contents of the folder, including checking what files are in it every block, so you can even add or remove plot files while it's running. The only reason you'd need to restart it is if you need to add passphrases. can it read symlink-ed file correctly? so i can generate plot on different disk or even on the network, and put that symlink on plot folder |

Is there a way to use GPU to generate the PLOT file faster?

For what it is worth to those watching the miner display. Just got my 7th block and the deadline was 122. I imagine the deadline will need to pretty low at this point.
it did ! i found when i submit a new share , the deadline will decrease. i think when you reached some number shares , the block is yours deadline does not decrease, deadline is resulted from hash based on ur address and possible nonce, the more nonce u got, higher chance that ur deadline is smaller. there are no thing such as number of share, u always put one share each block, on every share u have deadline value, if other has lower deadline, then u willl never get a chance to found a block on current block |

difficulty adjustment will maintain so that blocktime is 240 secs, so if ur deadline is less than 240 its always there will be huge chance for block creation |

What about near future of this wonderful fair coin ... does the dev have any Plans?
Following points should be solved as soon as possible in my eyes ...
- BURST needs Pool/s as soon as possible ... for better distribution/mining feedback ...
- BURST needs a logo ... maybe organize a competition ...
- BURST needs Promotion ... like givaways, webpage etc.
- BURST needs Exchange/s ...
- maybe BURST needs a TOOL to help setting it up without problem with concrete error messages or at least a FAQ
- to be continued ...
I'm sure the community is willig to help the dev in some of these points ... but we need to know if the help is wanted ...

this is way too complicated!! i tried to run things like you said in readme file but nothing happened!!
can you please tell me if these .bat files are ssuported in win 8 command prompt because it seems it is not allowing them to run!!

Just to clarify, can I make a bunch of different plots, say from 1-100000, 100001-200000, 200001-300000 etc?
the same question ,,first time I generate from 0-1600000 , now I want to generate 1600001-3200000, is this ok or useful??? can somebody help me ?? i am not sure miner can use more than one file, dev should answer this but to be safe i run two miner if i got 2 plots on different nonce range |

how the hell are people getting so many blocks when some cant get any.i have been mining since near start and nothing yet some have hit several blocks  whats the size of ur plot ? just over 500gb we need to create formula to calculate the chance of getting a block on current diffculty / TB, please wake up dev... |
