Escrow transactions
Escrow transactions should now be enabled.
Usage:
In the sidebar, after clicking Transactions, there is an entry for escrow. Click it to go to the escrow screen. In the escrow screen, there is a button in the upper right labelled "Create Escrow" which will open the escrow create dialogue. Fill it out like this: Recipient: The recipient of the escrow in either BURST- or numeric id(you can hit backspace to remove the existing BURST-___ entry to type numbers) Amount: The amount you want to transfer Escrow deadline: A time limit in seconds that if runs out, the escrow will be automatically completed with the deadline action selected in the next step. This deadline must be 1 - 7776000(up to 3 months) seconds. Deadline Action: The action that will occur automatically if the deadline runs out without the escrow being completed. This can be release, refund, or split. Required signers: A number from 1 - 10, saying how many people need to sign off on a decision to cause that action to be taken. Regardless of what this number is set to, a sender can always release, and a recipient can always refund. Signers: A list of accounts allowed to sign off on a decision. BURST- addresses and numeric ids can be used. They are separated by semicolons ( ; ). 1 - 10 must be specified. (ex: BURST-AAAA-AAAA-AAAA-AAAAA;1234556;987654321;BURST-BBBB-BBBB-BBBB-BBBBB;1357913579 ) Message: A message can optionally be attached. If you want signers to be able to see the message, it must not be encrypted.
Fees: There is a network fee that is 1 burst by default, and an additional fee equal to the number of signers specified. The additional fee is given to the signers, so they have a coin to make their decision transaction with if necessary. This also makes it easy for people to participate in escrows as signers without having an existing funded burst account.
Once the escrow transaction has been included in a block, it will be listed on the escrow screen if you are involved in it(sender, recipient, or listed as a signer is considered involved) Clicking on the transaction id in the screen brings up the decision making screen. Various information is shown on it(signers' ids and decisions, deadline time and action, etc) A decision can be selected from the dropdown and submitted to sign off on that decision. Senders can select release which will release the funds when it gets included in a block. Recipients can select refund which will refund the funds when it gets included in a block. Signers can select release, refund, split, or undecided. When their decision gets included in a block, the escrow details will be updated to show their decision. If their decision makes the number of signers with that decision at least the number of required signers, that decision is executed.
can we test it?, please add me as signer if anyone doing it for testing

I hate to be a broken record but it happened again. At block 18702 I had a balance of 214, at block 18703 it went to 0. I have received no payout as of block 18707.
So it reset from 90 to 0 on Tuesday and 40 to 0 yesterday. Can you look into this please? Account: G7L5-JW6T-TKKM-9MNNL
Edit: the 214 just showed up.
so.. your 214 are gone or what?

Which of the 3 pools would you suggest for 12TB ploted space.. Which of the 3 descriptions fits your temperament? I love your answer, now people with deadline limit temperament will move to EU hah Unfortunately my usual deadline is higher than 432000 yeah pool3 sucks, I've been mining with almost 10 GB using BURST-WCSC-JNCD-ZB53-955M9 , and my share still zero, my balance still zero, no payment was made... zero,.. none, nada..

Lawl. 10 TB is NOTHING in this coin these days, thanks to the advent of GPU plotting, the equivalent of ASICs for this coin. I am glad I'm out of it, and my 10,931 BURST coins are waiting for a price rise to be sold, and I predicted that this coin will never get over 500 satoshis again. So far, I have been correct for several weeks. And WOW, a WHOLE ZERO POINT TWO PERCENT bonus to the miners? Please, whatever you do, don't strain yourself paying money to those who mined the coins for you!!! omagad ! he is back again ! LOOOOL!

Which of the 3 pools would you suggest for 12TB ploted space.. hmm.. i dont know you must try it if most ur deadlines are below 5 days you can try EU, if you want to be safe just use US

--- I am so tired addressing his question, i gave an explation about how payment was made on my own pool thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=769473.msg9046856#msg9046856 , he doesn't even understand and really want his payout, i dont even know how much the payout he want this is your last payout since you moved to SG, see that thousands burst that really wanted, is it there?, did I lied about the difference between US and SG curve will affecting block finder payout? TX ID BURST 7662834634249872223 254 7414300847535456645 1210 1864899760626606752 358 18118364217739562352 386 14797181887714913388 1720 2191009502404328157 1030 14134541985667213571 386 .. ..
please if the payout dont match your expectation you are free to use another pool or try solo mining, I made this PM public so i can answer any question similar to this (if there any), is there anyone else thinking that i am hiding something ?

Could someone please point me to optimal mining solution for dedicated servers? What miner should I use? Do I have to run stand alone wallet or may I link to my local wallet?
It's pretty much just a matter of how much HDD space you have. 20TB + I'd say you can solo and do okay right now, any less than that and you're better off in a pool. Use the dev's wallet. Uray has a web based one right now but he's unsure of it's security. actually I am quite confidence that SSL / HTTPS is corectly configured and tested I've been test it with most of the SSL and website security check, everything is great if not good, but that is just for HTTPS test, i don't know if there will be any flaw in wallet codes https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=burstcoin.ioif you are confident enough just use https://burstcoin.iobefore we have dedicated thin client for burst

Another thing I don't understand is why the "Balance" column sometimes reset without being paid. From what I see in the "How it works" page, the 50% reduction applies to shares :
"Share value reduction is 50% per block if pool on current round does not find a block, miners shares are keep (up to 99 blocks), but their value is reduced by 50% everytime we dont found a block. when pool has positive balance, all share are summed up to block# where payment will be made, and burst payment are made proportional to total share owned up to this time"
The balance in my understandig is supposed to be left untouched till it reach or exceed the minimum payout and then reset after the payment is been issued. Is that wrong?
Again, thanks to shed some light
those words not saying anything about balance, its share value, its completely different, balance is untouched until it exceed minimum payout, then your balance will be zero and you will got payment nonce -> deadline -> CR. share value -> AR. share value -> balance -> payout I've said the same thing Anyway, the balance column keep reset itself, maybe is just a display glitch and behind the curtains everything work fine.... What about the blocks I've found? Wasn't I supposed to get an higher share? And while it's true that the shares keep halving every time the pool doesn't find a block, in this case (ie block found) the pool wasn't supposed to have a positive balance? The same happened today, block found and no different payout. Thank you very much for your time p.s. sorry for my poor English share halving is to make sure recent share is rewarded more than older share, if you found a block, then your latest share will be higher than anyone else (only for that round), but when payment was going to be made couple blocks later (there is delay between when block is found and pool received the reward), the condition could change, its because there could be other miner that has better cumulative share than yours, even if you are the block finder US and SG has difference curve, this mainly affect the above condition, US pool has greater chance that block finder does not always have highest payout, its because the share value more distrbuted evenly, so there is more chance that other miner has better cumulative share than block finder. contrary to US, on SG pool block finder is rewarded exponentially better share, so there is less chance that other non-block finder can compete with your exponentially better share because of block you just found, but on SG pool if you dont found block the regular share will be exponentially small too. balance is reset and sometime you see tx amount is still zero, its because your balance is moved to pending payment list, tx amount will be still zero if the payment is not confirmed yet by network within that round time, if the payment was failed, that amount will be put back to your balance
