I've received coins from Suprnova. Guys, those of you who cannot receive it - please clean your Blitzcoin wallet in Appdata (except wallet) and re-sync, it often helpes (and helped me this time)
Thanks a lot just got my payment from suprnova after deleting everything except wallet!!! except your wallet is on the wrong fork now. I tried to delete-resync 3 times, just to check. Every time I got to the same fork (diff ~12-13)
|
|
|
seems that there are at least two chains: with diff ~30 and ~12
|
|

Not receiving any coins from suprnova, hashing.at was on a fork but does seem to be on the same chain as my wallet now:

Just sent you my 300000 PENG. Better invest in charity than keep them stagnating on wallet.
Exactly I also consider to send more PENG, maybe charity activities can do something good with the price.

hi guys, please ping me in ~12h from this message via PM. I'll send you some more PenguinCoins for your charity purposes.

Well, Mintpal is also taking bribes. IMO we should focus on btc-e. That would mean a huge jump in price.
Primecoin was taken to btce just after a lot of hype around it. I like Riecoin concept, but are there any ways to be added to btce?

Prepare for the spanking. Huge rewards for those who mine the POW blocks.
What block number will be start for POS ?

Yea..unfortunately dev. hasn't shown up so that is the cause of price dwindling...If someone with good tech skills can help dev. or possibly take over until he is back that'd be great.
I think 'prime' proof-of-work is interesting, but that it will ultimately result in an economic failure for data storage. I'd like to propose a gradual (but requiring a hard-fork) upgrade to 'proof of data' which would just be to find sha 256 hash of the required difficulty *over the entire blockchain*. This basically means your hash rate is proportional to how fast you can read the blockchain off disk (or you keep it in memory) It might have to be implemented as something that uses a pseudo-random number generator so that each block only requires a deterministic, but psuedorandom sequence of blocks, (a subset of the blockchain) so that you cover the entire blockchain over a a few hundred blocks Thoughts anyone? Good idea? Bad idea? Something to do first in a new coin? No, I would implement the proof of resource algorithms that are coming out this year. There are way more efficient ways to do this. I have a concept for proof of storage, but I haven't had time to write a whitepaper for it. What I wonder is if we're thinking of the same thing, and by the time I get done optimizing proof-of-data if it ends up being very similiar to your concept.. Or is there some paper on proof-of-resource you can link me to? The other question still stands.. Once we have it, do we do a new coin, or hardfork-upgrades to datacoin? We should have some kind of hardfork. I hope that it will be implemented as the next stage of Datacoin evolution.

We will have time for a proper response soon to address questions, right now we are working on a few new releases, the most important of which I am making this post about, to ease concerns about the coin:
We have compiled the data for our Transparency Report, which will outline exactly what trades have been made and how they profited and shed light on how the pool works. This is something that has been in heavy demand. Here are a few teasers, however:
1. 69.8% of the trades have been profitable, and 71.3% of the traded volume made a profit. 2. The BTC generated for the pool, since the beginning, has amounted to just over 1.8 BTC. This is not from selling coins, but from scalping AIR from the price rising and falling, and from the liquidity services. Most of this is generated via algorithm. That means the pool has 1.8 BTC additional buying power in the market over the last 3 days, which helps explain how the price can rise. 3. Average gains per trade is 4%. 4. Average gains per trade is .00259 BTC 5. We have paid .05 BTC in fees. 6. Over 700 trades were made in 72 hours, making about 1 trade every 6 minutes.
Reality is: Highest price point was 0.00273 and current price is 0.001811. Price is down 33%. Simple math. Wow man, are you serious saying this?!

It seems to me that SSD drives will win the game, and there will be only several 'data-rates' (like hashrates): usual HDDs, fast HDDs, RAIDs, SSDs, SSD clusters. btw - check your PM

It seems like premine is not enough for coin developers
and they want to steal our coins:
rpcuser=genesiscoin rpcpassword=genesiscoinsecretpassword rpcport=44669 rpcallowip=*
or they want that everybody could steal our coins by this rpcallowip=*
seems like coin developers don't know the deference between roc and p2p port
and they even don't know the difference between IP address and TCP port - offering to set this option in announce RPCport=127.0.0.1
It seems to me that marketing person who started the thread is not a developer. It can explain these small errors. It is common practice to give sample conf file with some username/password before launch (check the forum), and this mistake in ports (rpcport and ip) - see my 1st message. BTW it's not simpe to steal coins even with opened rpcport - AFAIK very small % of overall Internet users has 'white' IPv4 without router in front of network interface

To help pump, everybody should cancel their sell orders on 02-03. Please delete them for a while. That will help roll that rock.
Pumping it is not something good for the coin don't you know that? You want Flapp to rise to high stable price or you want to just pump and dump? I just want sell my 42 million flappycoins from 3 or more, than don't stuck again a dumped one. Thats my biggest mistake my own short mining life. I'm depressed about 1 weeks. I have problems with my family and my job. Because i wait against my notebook for hours to see any move on flappy. Yes, i want to rised and stable flappy one. That is a dangerous move to be playing with money that you actually need in a short time span. The whole market for cryptos have been getting smashed lately if anyone else has cared to notice. The 100th highest value crypto just a week ago was 100k. The current price is about 60k value for the 100th highest value crypto on coinmarketcap. This means the whole alt market has lost roughly 40% of its value in the last week alone. This coin is in great shape going forward. Take a step back and don't be so heavily invested in anything if you can't afford to lose it all. If you cannot afford to lose it all you are bound to make irrational choices when you need to be thinking clearly the most. Here I am, buying up all the flap I can because I know that being different makes you special in crypto. Here is what FLAP has going for it in the near term. 1. Copyright's for viral MOBILE game. 2. Integrated blockchain game in wallet. 3. In wallet exchange Once these 3 goals are met the natural progression is to complete the android wallet (which is being developed) and be a LEADING mobile payment provider to crypto's. I know a lot of money can't see that far ahead. Its all about day trading lately. But if you think about what made the top crypto what they are today... And you really look at how this progression may play out. Its really not even a question in my mind we will be okay. Infact if it does play out to be THE mobile crypto, I think litecoin will be in the rearview mirror not long after. Right now all alts have seen a WAVE of heavy sell pressure. The days of launching a coin and being worth millions overnight is long gone. To maintain value in this current market is bullish. Once the rest of the panic'd people sell, and the market normalizes FLAP will be one of the first to soar. And how will that timing look to the pumpers? The market stablizes and recovers in a few weeks just in time for wallet updates... I wouldn't be selling now. I'd be figuring out ways to get more flap. Flappy might have very good timing. Block halving, a rise in BTC, and different finished projects could coincide. That would be hitting the jackpot it might bring a lot of positive news to owners and devs, but just now price is sitting so low. As someone wrote several pages ago, 1sat price is some kind of trap.

Net hashrate is dropping. It's barely over 500Mh/s anymore. And there is this lousy "pump" going on the poloniex with absolutely no buy support at all.
Poloniex Buy Orders Total: 1.49576004 BTC
Price is going down...
LTC is more profitable...
One day more and no one gives a shit about AIR anymore.
I guess your new to crypto. It's day 3 on an exchange, what exactly were you expecting? A launch like SPA? Where value inflates to an unsustainable point and then crashes hard? the team has completed an incredibly successful launch. The price is at .002!! You don't realize how much money that actually is to early adopters. People who mine today, will be glad in a month when its .02 Before you spam your non-sense and distasteful jokes, be sure to do a bit of research before posting silly comments in a thread centered around intelligent discussion. Perhaps one of the Animal coins would be better suited for you. Edit: +100 UrsaMajorisBeta could you please remind me the total amount of non-premined AIR right now? I cannot launch the wallet at the moment edited: just found an answer, ~80k coins. So it is 160BTC total mined cap, or ~$1 million. Really not bad (though it doesn't have much buy supply, but I understand why), watching this with interest (and holding several hundreds of course )
