1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ethics of boxing and gambling on: August 01, 2021, 09:43:54 AM
And how is betting of people hitting each other being considered as legal and ethical in today´s world?

It's legal because there are precautionary measures being taken to ensure the safety of the competitors, they are not fighting to the death, once an opponent is clearly seen hurt the fight will be stopped, and both competitors are made sure they are on their peak of health, so it's really a battle of speed and strength not savagery.
1942  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Suggestions for escrow service on: August 01, 2021, 07:13:49 AM
Hey everyone, i am looking for some suggestions for an escrow service we are launching.
Drop your ideas below  Grin

When it comes to escrowing funds, trust is the most important thing, you should build up your trust rating and reputation first before anything else, even if you have a good escrow site in place, with all the good features are on it, it is still nothing unless you can get people to trust to handle you their funds.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: August 01, 2021, 05:54:03 AM
When you spend money constantly in bits, it is normal that you may not be able to keep track of the amount you have spent on something say gambling or alcohol. If a financial record or something like a register is shown to you having the total amount you've spent on a habit, you may be surprised the total amount you see.

As a way to keep track, would you like to receive regular, maybe weekly or monthly financial statements highlighting wins and losses from a gambling site?

Can you share your thoughts please?

I only play money that I can afford to lose and I have to allocate the amount on my playing time, so I don't need a financial statement, I can receive financial statements on some other things, but never on gambling, because money allocated for gambling as a lost money, even if I win I will just allocate it to gambling again, I don't take gambling money and transfer it as my allowance.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: July 31, 2021, 03:32:31 PM

After all, crypto is like money, if there's enough customers who wants to gamble with crypto in the land-based casino someone will make that possible for them.

If there's demand and there is a market and potential profit for developers and investors, they will likely look for it, they will do a feasibility study to check if it's worth creating physical casinos that only use Cryptocurrency, I like the idea, if one or two companies can start this we will have an industry and many more companies will follow.
1945  Other / Off-topic / Re: What was the price of btc when u had your first btc/satoshis? on: July 31, 2021, 02:36:57 PM
I can't remember the exact price but I made my first purchase when Bitcoin is about to hit an all-time high, glad that I sold it just in time, I made a small profit but became interested in getting more, so I joined various bounty campaigns, the easiest way to accumulate coins and trade it to Bitcoin, I consider Bitcoin as a must coin to hold until now.

Here is an article about this malware Vultur

This Android malware records your screen — what you can do

Quote
Vultur is installed on Android phones by a "dropper" called Brunhilda, which is present in several fitness, phone-security and authentication apps, some of which have been found in the Google Play store.

Always check the reviews before downloading any application on Google Play Store, it has become the hub of scammers and Google let them.

1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 30, 2021, 03:40:38 PM
As we all know ESports has been one of the features of Online Gambling, and recently Axie Infinity had announced the Upcoming ESports Events.

Will this be the path that might lead to Gambling?

The management knows that their platform is open to everyone, I don't think they will want their platform to be a venue where young children will learn how to gamble, they are ok with their gaming platform if they are going to something like Esports they should careful on creating a gambling perception on their platform, it will harm their reputation.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: July 30, 2021, 02:29:04 PM

What do you think about this issue? Do you want to do KYC just for gambling on any platform?
Also added that they are giving new users registered through their referral link some money, and they also require KYC to receive it. I heard that this amount is up to 200$, if you are, would you like to sell your identity to get this money?

For a new site I would not, they must establish their reputation first before I do KYC, that bonus is just to entice you to give you all your vital details, we have seen it on so many airdrops, they are giving away useless tokens in exchange for your vital information, which they will sell in the black market, they can make money from selling this information.

I prefer doing KYC to an old and reputable gambling sites, they have a reputation to protect and adhere to government regulations.
1950  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Binance fake giveaway website... on: July 30, 2021, 02:12:32 PM
This is another classic send me this amount and you will receive double the amount so we can verify your address, I have never seen something like this that is legit, the rule of the thumb is if you don't want to get scammed, do not give your private key if they request it and do not send amount just to verify your wallet, just always remember these two and you will never get scam.

more than a year since the Facebook Bug happened and yeah i remember checking my account in the morning having this thousand of friends added , though i already had thousand those days.

I think it's about time Facebook changes the default 5000 friends and change it to 7000 or even more, those active on Facebook since it's creation have to create new account because they cannot add more friends, so instead of creating a new account they should just increase the number of friends that you can add.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 30, 2021, 09:43:06 AM
These days I'm seeing many Youtubers and Twitch streamers are promoting Gambling websites [Dice, Sports Betting] and Poker Apps.

I know it's ok to gamble for having fun and socially but I don't think young people should be exposed to this when they're in school.
Most of them will only imagine "What 'IF' i win 1000x of this amount and i'll be able to do this and that"

The first thing where will they get the money, even if they get pocket money and use that to gamble then they'll slowly develop the habit of gambling disregarding short-term winnings - if they occur.

They'll pay a huge price with the tension they'll have thinking about this when their whole life is ahead.

As a rule, children should not be exposed to gambling, in fact, they should learn about it or play when they are of right age which is they can think and act responsibly and have a decent job, exposing them at a very young age will make them easy prey to corruption, children should not spend money except on their basic need, but if they are exposed to gambling they will find ways to get money to play and bet, and their minds will be corrupted.
1953  Economy / Gambling / Re: KonradFun 8) | 50% First Deposit Bonus on: July 29, 2021, 02:11:17 PM

They're probably first timers or they are what you suspected to be nonetheless, it's a good thing that they have to make an attractive thread so it makes them a professional business which can help establish some trust to potential clients. Hopefully OP will improve upon that problem.

Many new gambling sites started that way but eventually evolve into something great by following recommendations OP will get gamblers to respect him if he has a copper membership and he hires a good designer to design his announcement, there's nothing like a good design announcement it will stand out and gamblers will look and eventually play on the gambling site.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Combination of gambling and trading on: July 29, 2021, 10:17:37 AM
lately i have been stressed off and depressed because of lack of sleep, i just got my hand on so many thing and among those is trading and gambling this two activities requires lots of research and hard work which is time consuming, and am beginning to feel that am over doing it.
is any one in this category that can help me with advise on how to go about combining trading and gambling at the same time.

Both gambling and trading are time and effort consuming I don't think you can be successful on both without having good sleeps, if you cannot keep up and do not have time management I don't think you can succeed on both, you have to pick one to copncentrate your time and effort and  one you master th eone you choose, you can integrate the other, slowly.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Elon Musk manipulating the market? on: July 29, 2021, 01:41:31 AM
someone like Elon Musk is a sly businessman who has big capital of course what he does is only for profit without caring what will happen to other people, as well as joining him in crypto, I think he only benefits from what he has done and in the same way he has manipulated the crypto market.

There are people he helped to make huge profits and from getting rich and these are DogeCoin bag holders but a majority of people are not lucky to make profit from the Dogecoin hype and these are late investors on DogeCoin, we could have reached the $50k level if not for Elon Musk interference I still believe he has influence in the market, he is beginning to be like the late John McAfee in his influence in the market.
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know if an altcoin is a scam? on: July 29, 2021, 01:11:41 AM
Hello, I'm new here and I wanted to ask something I've been confused about for a few days.

I recently got into an altcoin (called startup boost token) and the devs are doxxed and presale LP locked, they claim to have live use case and all.

I want to know how I can determine / what kind of questions I should be asking to know if its a real 100x token? Any advice?

These farming sites have time-locked features check if their time locked is enough for investors to check if they implementing a new code, check Rugdoc if they are being monitored I don't invest in projects that are not monitored by RugDoc when investing in farming sites, there are so many risks involved in new farming sites I recommend investing in established farming sites like Uniswap.
1957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motivated by "breaking the code" on: July 29, 2021, 12:51:42 AM
One of my neighbours, a million years ago, was obviously addict to the slot machines. He would spend hours spinning in a nearby bar (these machines are allowed in bars in my country of origin) and my take is that he would spend a fortune on it. Once, I passed by and I overheard him saying "I am going to teach this machine who is in charge". It sounded like he was attributing some short of conscience and life to the machine and though he could "beat it". I have observed that many people that gamble are into that type of thinking, that is, it is me against this code and this machine and I can actually break the code and win.

I personally do not play slots, but do you think that is why people like slot machines? Short of breaking their code?

When you are into something for so many years you develop a relationship with the thing that you are doing in your friend's case, he developed a relationship in that slot machine almost breathing it into life, now he thinks that he can beat him and he is superior to that machine, it's risky and you can be considered a chronic gambler, because thinking that you can beat the house edge will make you pour money and this will lead to financial losses.
1958  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $1 million this cycle really possible? on: July 28, 2021, 11:47:32 AM
is the really possible what looks like a dream - $ 1 million for bitcoin this cycle? We all know the factors and events around BTC lately. In addition Raoul Pal said in an intervew Bitcoin can hit that target price. only 15x and we are there.

The late John McAfee starting this goal he really thinks Bitcoin will reach but on a wrong year he thought last year, it's possible for Bitcoin to reach $1 million but it will take two or three halvings before it happens so it's better to allocate Bitcoin however small it is, it will make a big difference in the next two halvings.
1959  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: July 28, 2021, 10:51:14 AM
If we cross the 40k mark, and we keep the level for a while, I'll begin to believe again that ATH is within reach by the end of this year.  Cool

Despite what some might think, I do believe bitcoin will see another bull season. It's just that it will likely be a period where the price rebounds from around $1,000 to maybe $2,500. But then after that it'll keep trending toward $0.
Is this price in reference to bitcoin you are talking about mate? Prices are 30 times higher than this

That's proudhon. He's a time traveler. But the problem is that his time machine broke, so right now his mind got stuck in the past.

I believe he is I don't know what chart he is looking at and on what year, the price is on the $40k and moving well we can consider this as the continuation of the bull trend, but he still looking at the lower price and still mentioning trending towards zero when it's actually the other way around.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling ombudsman - do you feel protected? on: July 28, 2021, 06:23:19 AM
This is good for all parties gamblers can play with ease of mind, and the gambling sites or companies will have more clients because players protection will motivate them to play, many newbies are having a second thoughts on playing because they might end up being cheated with gambling protection they can lose fair, but the government should make sure that they make a good judgment, they should protect both parties.
