1921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice 101 on: September 20, 2021, 03:04:33 PM

He might still search for a mentor who can help him playing dice better than others. But what I wonder is, does he needs to pay any money to the mentor? Because as far as I know, if we hire someone to be our mentor, we need to give him a payment as the fee taught us about something. He does not have to pay anything if that mentor is someone he knows and does not ask about anything.

OP's mentor is making money from teaching something that he can find online like Youtube and blogs of gamblers, Dice is the easiest way to learn and all the possible methods that you can use to try to win are already online, why need a mentor, if he is paying his mentor he's been scammed because there is no such thing as a good mentor when it comes to dice, everybody can lose here.
1922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Hafthor Bjornsson vs Devon Larratt on: September 20, 2021, 02:28:13 AM

I can't find where I have read it, I have to admit, but I think Thor himself posted that it's not an exhibition match. That being said, if someone is an amateur that does not mean he is engaging in exhibition matches, he is actually engaging in amateur boxing matches. What makes an exhibition match is a ruleset. Pro boxers also do exhibition matches. So being an amateur boxer does not mean you only do exhibition matches.

No wonder on their match he keeps pouring big punches and chasing Devon Larratt he treats it as a real boxing match, you don't inflict big damages on an exhibition match, the referee stoppage is unquestionable he did the right thing nose is busted and he is receiving big punches in the head not worth continuing anymore since it's not a title match.
1923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think I have a gambling problem on: September 18, 2021, 09:36:57 PM
OP had a great story to tell about getting into gambling as young as 14 years old and getting out by being open-minded about his addiction, this is the first time that you need to do if you want to solve your gambling addiction and that is opening up about your addiction and being open on its remedy and solution, it becomes easy for OP to get out hope he will find other passions so he'll not think of going back to gambling.
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would like to invest more than $20k. Which altcoin project? on: September 18, 2021, 11:19:25 AM
Congratulations for disposing shitcoins and only picking that have potential in the market, all the coins you've listed are worth investing they all have the potential, but wonder why Binance is not on your list and so is Solana, of all the coins in the top 10, Solana seems to be with a huge potential in the market and touted as the Ethereum killer, though they have to prove that they are worthy of that name, but since you don't want to add more and it's your final list I say Goodluck to your choice.
1925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: September 18, 2021, 02:01:40 AM
Now Silva is on a hunt for a new opponent, he is striking the iron while it's hot

Quote
Silva has been connected to a number of potential opponents, including the Paul brothers. But as far as Silva’s coach Dorea goes, the fight to make isn’t Silva vs. Paul, but instead, the fight to make is Silva vs. Mayweather

I don't know if Mayweather will agree to a fight I read in one article that his last fight with Paul is his last exhibition fight and he will retire for good, but if the price is good the Moneyman can come out of retirement and fight Silva, this is a making of great fights two legendary warriors in their respective field in one ring.
1926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TALK token good to invest at current price ? on: September 17, 2021, 11:24:54 PM
Hi everyone

Do you think TALK token price can increase to +10 sat ?

TALK is the official coin of cryptotalk forum and the the devs

already said they have plans that will make the price grow

do you think we should buy TALK now at 1 sat ?

https://yobit.io/en/trade/TALK/BTC

Thye always says that for every coin that they launched but so many traders are losing their money because all their coins are good for pump and dump, there's nothing good to come from a scam site like Yobit, until now there are so many pending scam reports that are yet resolved and all those coins they created is not trading on other exchange, they don't want to list their token.
1927  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about youtube/twitch marketing? Is it ethical? on: September 17, 2021, 01:28:04 PM
It's all about making money and how to make the site looks good, Youtube and Twitch streamers are making money doing this and the gambling sites they are promoting will look good in the eye of the gamblers, they need it to sustain the operation, gambling sites are not different from other business they need to present their best version, I don't see anything unethical on this as long as they can keep up with what they are showing in their marketing.
1928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 17, 2021, 07:00:00 AM
Right now Caleb is enjoying his newfound fame and I don't want to predict anything for the match. Upsets have happened before, and it can happen in the future as well. Caleb is no cakewalk for Canelo.

He can only fully enjoy it if he beat Caleb he is the only one left with the other 168-pound belt, he will become the undisputed and lineal champion and it will be uncontested if he beat Plant, on this match Canelo has a lot to lose, but we all know Canelo he always comes to fight on every fight, the two fighters are on thrash talk this is to hype the fight, even if the fight is already hype I consider this fight as a contender for a fight of the year I hope it lives up to the boxing community's expectation.

This is another shit token from a shit exchange, they already have a lot of shit tokens on their trading platform but you cannot find any one of their tokens in another exchange, there's a lot of risks investing in their shit token I would not even think of investing here even if it goes to 1 sat, Yobit has a lot of scam reports even if you bought it and make profit from this shit token, there's also a possibility that you cannot withdraw your coin, they ban people with no reason at all and they always get away with it.
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CoinMarketCap a scam? on: September 16, 2021, 10:52:18 AM
I’ve been using them for years, I know Binance owns them…but I can’t understand why page 3 (starting at #201 Hex) has coins like Safemoon, that have a higher market cap than every coin on page 2…but is stuck on page 3.

It’s like they put a velvet rope at coin #201, and only some coins can pass beyond that, and others can’t.

What is the explanation? Do you have to pay Binance to get past this velvet rope? Does someone at Binance try and decided what’s “worthy” of being on the first two pages?
They have their own criteria for doing that, it's not a project that you'll invest it's a market aggregator if you do not agree on what they are showing you have other market aggregation that you can use, I'm using Coingecko and I'm comfortable using this, they have more features and they offer reward by just login daily.

Or you can check this article for the list of Cryptocurrency market aggregator

1931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not make curiosity to people around you while you are playing gambling. on: September 15, 2021, 11:25:31 PM

You can play gambling, especially if you play online gambling but we never know if what we did in gambling can attract people beside us to follow us playing gambling without knowing. Always look around you before you spend your free time playing gambling and not making others curious about what you did.

So how are you playing gambling? Did you play alone in your rooms or in your home or in the public area or do you have a special room just to spend your time to playing gambling?

If you have a child who is also a gamer they will think that you are playing a game on a gambling site because the dashboard is quite similar, the best idea is to play in your own room alone and do not let your child play on your computer or cellphone, let him have his own phone or pc but monitor his activity, or better restrict gambling sites.
1932  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Transgender on MMA on: September 15, 2021, 12:53:48 PM
The majority wins in this forum and on media, people are voting it's not fair and will not be fair, this is not fair for natural-born women to compete against transgender, the transgender will have a psychological advantage over a woman in a match, their opponent will think that they are fighting a man, the bone structure never change even if they change the hormone, they will still have the strength of a man.

1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: August 13, 2021, 12:47:37 AM
Some of them will not some of them later some will take time to recover, it all depends on how the platform evolves, each coin has their own time to evolve and recover, not because the market is recovering all coins are expected to grow or recover, it still depends on the coin's progress, so follow the coin's you've invested or going to invest, so you'll have the idea when it will have its time.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best token for staking right now? on: August 07, 2021, 11:23:41 AM
Huh Huh Huh
Where is APY better. What have you heard about Near and whether it is worth staking this token

1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: August 07, 2021, 11:09:31 AM
Have you ever calculated how much of your total capital is in cryptocurrency?

In my case, i have 60% of my money in bank accounts, 20% in stock market, 5% in cash and only 15% in crypto.

I am a risk-taker and so I have 50% of my capital on Cryptocurrency and it never fail since the first day I invest, I only have 10% on my bank because they are not giving a good percentage of interest compared to Cryptocurrency and the rest is in my vault, you are not a risk taker having only 15% in  Crypto.

1937  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: August 06, 2021, 10:40:17 PM
Bitcoin is now rising, and it has jumped by 3k in less than 10 minutes. Although everyone is happy but also worried, is it going to fall again?
My friend asked if I can continue to buy it? But I see a lot of people commenting that giant whales are now controlling the market. I told my friends not to enter the market for now, but my friends seem to have misunderstood me.
Do you think that this kind of market should be forbidden to enter or continue to buy?。

Let him decide for himself just give him tips and guidelines but when it comes to buying and selling it should be the holder's decision alone, do not encourage or forbid, investors should do their own research and should set their own time for buying and selling so you will not take the blame if you made a mistake on your advice to sell or buy.
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will Ethereum survive without Vitalik? on: August 06, 2021, 10:30:30 PM
Ever since Vitalik created Ethereum, the project has been on a road towards non-stop success. It's been around 6 years already with ETH being the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. Vitalik's skills and great mindset will keep the project afloat for a very long time. But sometimes I wonder what will happen with Ethereum without Vitalik in play? The community could keep the project alive, but without a genius mind like Vitalik Buterin, ETH will be one step behind of its rivals. At least, that's the way I see it. But I could be wrong.

What are your thoughts? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Smiley

Bitcoin has done it without Satoshi around, why not on Ethereum, there are a lot of good developers within the team Vitalik can train them, and besides they are a stable organization they can hire fresh talents that can infuse more development within the Ethereum technology, Vitalik knows that he cannot be at it forever.
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum last forever? on: August 05, 2021, 02:35:37 PM

What's your opinion on this? Will Ethereum last forever? Or will it eventually die? Do you think it'll retain its place as the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap for long? If not, why? Do competitors stand a chance against ETH? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

We should not use the word forever because nothing lasts forever, everything runs for a limited time, the right word is a long time or a specific time like ten or twenty years, Ethereum so far is looking for an update so they can keep up with the transactions and fees, many developers are doing cross-chain and they prefer creating their coin on Binance than on Ethereum.
